Must follow your HP and MP as it changes during the fight.

Must also post spells made in the posts, plus the amount of damage that they make in all.

Passives that aren't permanent shall be posted the same way as spells, except if it has an unlimited duration; otherwise, it shall only be posted once and known that it's used from that time on.

    Most importantly: let's kick ass!

PS: This post is but a kind of intro, yknow, plot stuff and stuff... hope you don't mind it :T
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Still holding the grudges of never properly finding all the lost treasures in the desert, the young shaman had taken a walk, or rather a fly, to the god-forsaken sand areas in the middle of the night. Flying above the desert, he was out of range for the immense sandstorms that were howling in the country, alongside his spriit companions Kyuken and Zirconis. "Ehm, you already gained a good loot from that job, Mura..." Kyuken spoke to his flying partner, "Why'd you go back to this hell..?" Mura's eyes would narrow as he scanned the floors of sand, searching for any holes or openings on the mountain-like bulges. If he could just spot the tiniest piece of wood, then he would be far ahead and in the middle of opening it.

"Look, remember what the client told us back then?" he spoke to his two fellow spirit companions, "The treasures are still here, somewhere. Also, he gave us green light to go and search for them; I'm sure that he didn't specifically mean during the job only..." the spirits would look at each other, then quickly nod as they followed Mura down to the surface, where his wooden samurai sandals would touch the hot sand. "Make sure not to burn those pieces of wood, kiddo," Zir commented, watching the sand's heat causing a tiny smoke to appear beneath Mura's feet. It was truly hot today; even warmer than last time that he was here. Unusual, because it was night and the sun was far gone... Despite all that, he didn't stop himself as he stuck his hands underneath the sand, searching for any hidden rewards beneath them...

The last time she had been in this desert was with some man named Dmitry Kazanov. . . if that was even his real name. Not to mention, but it was also with one of the most annoying merchants on the entire planet, and she forgot what her name was. She did not have that great of an experience here, and as a result, the desert wasn't a favorable place to her. In fact, she wasn't even certain what had drawn her here specifically to this hellhole, just that she had wandered in. Now, she had to find her way out and she wasn't all too sure about which direction was the way out of this place. Surely, simply using her Turn to Ash ability would get her out of here, but that was a lot of work to cast. Using that was a big waste of time, unless she was truly lost and had no other way of getting herself out of there.

"Rama. . ." Marceline's succulent voice entered the air, arms appearing to squeeze the life out of the monster they held. "I'm afraid that we're a bit lost, and I'm not all too certain which direction is the correct way to go from here." Her worried eyes darted from one empty orientation to the next, her mind overworked to find their way back out. It was only when her eyes scanned over the terrain again did she notice a small figure in the distance moving around. Marcy's eyes narrowed as she took in what it was supposed to be, but from this distance she couldn't exactly tell. She pursed her lips and decided to advance on the moving object, using her Turn to Ash ability to get closer quicker. "Do you think they'll be able to help us?" she inquired after getting a bit closer to Mura and his spirit companions.

Unfortunately, no treasures appeared to hide themselves under the sand, except a coin and a scorpion, which was quickly thrown away; excluding the coin, of course. On top of that, all this treasure-hunting was quite apparant on Mura's expressions, showing that of one addicted to chests and gold. It was enough to cause sweat dropping down Kyuken's and Zir's cheeks as they merely spectated the darting shaman's movement across the floor...

That was when something seemingly sandy approached them; thanks to Kyuken's view, Mura spotted a dark gust just as it was moving towards them from afar. Despite its ominous presence and differency in shade from the barren, sandy desert's color, Mura paid little attention to it, until a little moment later. "Ehm... Mura..." Kyuken tried to earn his attention, "I think that another sandstorm is on the way..." Mura would then finally look up, moving his head towards the sombre dust that was about to arrive before them. "Huh, it's just a little dus..." He was suddenly prevented from finishing that sentence, when the atmosphere changed drastically. He could sense magic power from that... cloud of dust? It sounded ridiculous in his head, but perhaps that ash was a result of something else?

The treasures were the last thing on Marceline's mind; in fact, they weren't even on her mind at all right now. Shiny things, silver, and gold, were not items that Marceline cared to look for, as she had the luxury of them in the past. If people were out here in the desert searching for such things, then it was clear that those people lacked intelligence. They were too far obsessed with the idea of collecting up precious items that they didn't care to look after themselves. Eventually, they would succumb to the heat in the desert, or starve to death, even die of thirst, and she would have to come back. She really didn't want to come back to this hellhole in order to decay and rot the lifeless body of the victim of luxury. Yet she knew that her master would send her back to the desert if he learned that someone succumb to the harshness of the wild.

Birthing from the ash that had swallowed her up from the beginning, the immortal woman stood before Mura, Kyuken, and Zirconis. Her eyes flashed from the mage to his companions in what seemed like a quick look-over before settling back on Mura. In her arms was the wild, vicious creature that she had been talking to earlier, and around her, soul collectors fluttered. These insect-like spirits would move toward Zirconis and Kyuken in order to capture them in their tails and bring them back to Marcy. However, with each swat of the tail, these lazy beasts would come to realize that they could scoop these spirits up. Marceline gave a sly, yet charming smile to the young man standing before her and her pet "dog," trying to appear sweetly. "Excuse me, but do you know how to get out of this desert? I seem to have gotten lost in the long wasteland of sand," she spoke up.

From the arriving ash appeared quite the figure, which was a little surprising for Mura; although, he had an idea, due to the energy that surged from it. The strange sting hit him quickly, causing the cautious shaman to leap back in shock. "!!!" It took him by surprise, the sudden, stingy feeling that hit him like a bat across his face. He kneeled down and wiped some sweat off his face, questioning himself of what the hell that was. Merely looking up at this lady with the unknown purpose of wandering around here, he could tell that something was definitely odd with her. His eyes would travel across her form, slowly resting on the small, insect-like spirits that floated around her. His head was filled with the same question; who was this person? Apparently, this was his first encounter as he didn't recall any other path-crossers with her; he could only tell by the appearance that she was a mage too. A mage that most likely used spirits, just like himself... and whose company literally hurt him like some kind of curse, but perhaps that was to be concluded later...

He would quickly spot Kyuken and Zirconis getting annoyed by the spirits that tried to suck them up, and quickly pulled them towards his palms. It wasn't as easy as normal, which gave him an idea of those flies' abilities. "..." He would listen to her sudden question, asking of how to get out of this forest with quite the sweet voice. Judging by the fact that her spirits were kind of irritating as he tried to fan them back, he would answer: "Ehm, yeah... but who are you? Don't tell me that you're just another treasure hunter..." He had an idea that if any other guys were searching for the same treasures, then that would cause a lot of bloodshed on the golden, uninterrupted ecosystem.

"Master, something's odd with her..!" Kyuken spoke up in annoyance, "Excuse me, nice-looking lady, but could you ask your 'friends' to leave me and Zir alone..?" Kyuken was quite annoyed by getting sucked back and forth, and it questioned the shaman whether she was trying to be friendly or to deceive him with her greedy spirits. In any case, he would keep a little distance from her, just in case that she was trying to steal his opportunity of finding treasures; unless if her objective was otherwise. At some point, the small soul-collectors would have a good grip on Kyuken and Zir, which prompted Mura to protest: "Hey, what're you doing? Leave them alone..!" He would quickly grab the shaft of Harusame to show that he would obviously hate to see anyone mess around with his companions...

He was silent and that was something Marceline didn't like about her prey; the ones that never talked were the most boring. Sighing, the woman would take a step closer to him, walking around him in a circle, like she was eyeing him up. No words came from her mouth while did this, merely watching as Zirconis and Kyuken dealt annoyingly with her insects. Her lip curled up in a snarl and she snapped her fingers, beckoning for the insects to come back to her side. Afterward, her gaze would settle back down on Mura, then flutter over to Kyuken with a look of disgust, followed by Zirconis. She didn't like those two spirits next to Mura; there was something about them that deterred her from taken them here and now. It was like that had some sort of spiritual connection to the mage, and she didn't like that they had that.

At long last, that young mage had spoken to her, a voice far from what she figured he would have used to speak to her. A smirk splayed across the Coming Storm's lips, like a devilish smirk of knowing exactly what she was doing with him. She reached a hand upward and ran it through her hair, flicking the strands over her shoulder and smiling more. "Well, if you just wanted to know who I was, you should've asked sooner than you had," she stated with a fake giggle. "In fact, I'm a bit surprised that you don't know who I am; my face is all over papers in the large cities, like Magnolia." Marceline winked at Mura and got a little closer to him, reaching out to touch his arm, like she was about to comfort him. "To many, I am known as Miss Fortune. . . Mr. Unlucky. . . but if you're smart enough, you'll realize who I truly am. . . Death."

Her eyes would light aglow with a red hue, the pupils dilating to slits as her lips neared Mura's ear for a whispering. "My name is Marceline Anicetus; remember it, for those are the last words that will ever leave your lips," she murmured to him.
Moving her hand from his arm to his chin, she would attempt to make him look at her, to look directly into her eyes. Knowing him though, he would likely have figured it out by now that she was not a person to reckon with anymore. If he looked into her eyes the moment she forced him to, he would come to see one of the most terrifying images of his life. He would be forced to live the most painful way he could imagine himself dying, and relive it each time he looked into her eyes. All of this would happen in a matter of seconds, and Marceline would pull away from him in the end and dance away.

    A Soul-less Counterpart [Private | PvP | Marcy] Empty Re: A Soul-less Counterpart [Private | PvP | Marcy]

Post by Mura Kensho 20th July 2016, 9:03 am

The strange woman revealed herself as one very dangerous person, one whom Mura had heard about at least once in his time at Magnolia; honestly, he had only a little knowledge of her, despite her infamous status in all of Fiore. She referred herself as many names, Miss Fortune and Unlucky, and also blunt Death itself. "...Death?" he bluntly asked out, despite the intense atmosphere that was surrounding them both. He always imagined Death to be some kind of skeleton-like being, but that it was a lady, not to mention kind of human-like... wait, did all this mean that he was going to die?!?!

"Wait a second, I don't think it's my time yet..." he murmured slowly, not quite sure of the situation anymore. She appeared intimidating, so he kept his grab on Harusame as she approached his ear to whisper her full name to him. His body was quite frozen, but as she laid a hand on him, he was ready for anything; except for the image that caused him to leap back faster than he would ever do when still having all of his sane. His legs were shaking a little; it was only for a brief moment, but he could still see it before him, that incident of his... it was terrible. And it happened just as he looked her into the eyes, such fright shot him like darts. "M-Mura..." Kyuken spoke with worry, "She's not friendly, that's for sure. Pull yourself together..." You would be able to hear that Kyuken's voice was trembling a little bit, not only for the sight of refusal that she gave him earlier. "... Alright, then," he answered, standing up while shaking all those thoughts off, "It's a fight, huh? 'Cause I won't mind if you're a Coming Storm, I won't go down that easily..."

All he knew now was that somehow, eye contact was a synonym with a giant opening for her to finish him. Also, being close to her was a no-go too, so all he could do for now was to see what she could do in a wide-range battle. As Kyuken's spirit fused with his own, the shaman pulled out Harusame in a brief swift, causing a reddish gust to travel across the desert sand. Along with the effect of the sand being pushed, so that it would follow up, the gust that was formed as a sharp slash would charge right towards her belly. With that 'test spell', he would quickly stand ready for her next action, so that he could study his enemy a little more...

She stared at the young mage in contemplation, but whether their eyes continued to meet was up to Mura's own reactions. As a Coming Storm, her name was out in the world, though she had never once though that people would actually know of her. In fact, she hardly did anything, other than pillage villages and rape their men and women out of pure entertainment. Now that she thought about it, perhaps it was that alone that gave her her name in the country, and fear from its people. None of that really mattered to her, she was simply doing things that entertained her while she was out doing errands for Death. Before long, she'd get bored again and go out to do other things than to pillage towns and cties and rape its citizens. To be honest, she preferred mutilating them with her decay magic far much over raping them and having a high, ole time.

"I hope you don't go down that easily," she murmured in a contemplative manner, placing a slender finger to her lips in thought. "In actuality, all of my victims were rather boring to take down, as they always succumbed to my magic faster than I wanted them to. . ." She heaved a saddened sigh and let her ravenous eyes drift back to the figure of Mura and gave him a small smirk. "If you hold out longer than the rest of them, perhaps I'll keep you has a playtoy then, something to keep me entertained when I'm bored. After all, I do get bored with all of the treasure hidden in my castle; I own everything you can think of in this world." A shrug of her shoulders and she would focus her attention fully onto Mura again, the smile never leaving her lips. When he challenged her, she merely shrugged, figuring that despite what he was saying, he wouldn't last long.

Marceline blinked her eyes as she watched Mura merge Kyoken into his katana and cause a gust of wind to stir up. She stared at the gust in confusion and amazement at its strange coloration, tilting her head a little to admire it. However, the second it was too close to her, the woman's body fell away into what looked to be a million or so flecks of ash. This allowed for the slash to pass right through her without ever harming her, and when it was over, she reformed. Marcy clicked her tongue at the Fairy Tail mage, shaking her head slightly and smirking even wider at him. "Do you really think that your measley spell is going to hurt something that can control Death, Himself?" she inquired. Her hand raised upward and a series of vortex-like holes popped up around Mura, in which rats poured out from and headed straight for him.

Okay, it appeared that his little gust skill was evaded by her ash transformation; a fact that he should've noticed earlier. It didn't appear to strain her body at all, but he could always try and see how much she could use that strange spell. Besides that she was quite the threat, she did exceed in making Mura expect some hardship incoming, which would only excite the shaman and sharpen his caution. As she murmured about her earlier victims and their poor endings, he couldn't but despise her nature. "As expected from a Coming Storm... that's bloody," he replied, lifting up his blade, "... Wha'?" His ears caught her next words 'I own everything', words that surprised him a lot, especially due to him being in this little state called 'treasure hunting mode'. Was she for real, or was she just bluffing? "..Hmpf," he continued with a little shake of his head, "There's a lot of other things in this world to kill time with..." he let out to her, blunt eyes focusing on the figure and its upcoming actions.

He should try another kind of spell against her as Kyuken's little skill didn't work, but his planning was interrupted by hordes of rats that merged from small vortexs around him. Judging by this spell, she must've planned to see what he was capable of, either that or just playing around with him. He began spinning on the sand, causing a new gust to rise from the surface and pull sand and rats upwards. "Get lost, rats!" he spoke up to those of them that were close enough to get hit. The sand covering him was a good choice to follow up with a sneak attack as he would, straight after his first action, launch bluish air slashes around himself. They would appear out of the sandstorm and charge at any direction, including Death herself, which increased the chance of actually hitting her and her minions at the same time...

Marceline only smirked when Mura went off about how cliche it was that Coming Storms slaughtered innocents and muttered about their wrongdoings. She could only smile at this because not long before she had encountered this legal mage, she was teasing and arguing with Kite Wilhelm over the cliche acts of legal mages. Now, Mura was complaining of the same thing, but this time around it was how dark mages always slaughtered and disobeyed the rules of the Magic Council. The Magic Council was jank, however; a powerless section of the government, who couldn’t do much more than complain about legal mages being similar to dark mages. After all, how many more legal mages secretly killed innocents under the noses of their guild masters? They were no better than dark mages in the end. Crossing her arms below her bust, the woman frowned at the shaman, clicking her tongue a little at his muttering of stereotypes and cliches. He was an interesting person, most certainly, but he wasn’t anyone that the young enchantress couldn’t handle in the long run.

You know, legal mages are no different,” the woman retaliated, moving a hand from its place on her arm to flick her raven-feathered hair over her slender shoulder. “They always go out of their way to save the day, to save the damsel-in-distress, or to save a kitten out of a tree. Don’t you see? You’re cliche, too.” The smile wavered on her lips from the frown it was currently was to a devious smirk that said she was entertained by this conversation. A shift of her hips and her glowing, red eyes were upon the shaman once more, her hand resting back in its place on her upper arm. “All of you go out of your way to be something you’re not; a hero that’s liked by all of the townspeople, only because of your actions. These people that you fool don’t know a goddamn thing about who you really are, they simply believe that you’re some superhero come to save the day.” Her frown had turned from that smirk into a snarl, her fingernails digging into the soft flesh of her arm, peeling away what looked like shavings of clay.

She tilted her head a little when she noticed that Mura had become intrigued by something she had said earlier to him. The very fact that she owned everything in the world, all of it hidden away in her treasury, was something that caught the boy’s attention. Marcy cocked an eyebrow and the smile returned to her lips, once again entertained by how the former legal mage reacted. “Oh, yes, I own everything there is to know on Earthland, and it’s all hidden in my castle, where no one is able to get to it.” Sticking her tongue out of her mouth, the woman danced away from Mura, letting the rats that popped out of the vortexes make their way over to him. In a matter of seconds, the man would be preoccupied by what was going on at his feet, rather than paying attention to his assailant. This was where she took her advantage and moved back behind him, so that he was not able to see where she was standing at.

However, she was taken aback when the mage began to spin in a circle, stirring up the settled sand and causing a few of her rats to be flung away. This angered her and a dark expression crossed her features, a hand following into the air, gathering ethernano into the palm of her hand. Yet, this ethernano was not like any other; no, this ethernano was the source of life and what left one’s body after one died. When enough of the ethernano had been gathered, the woman was lifted into the air by an invisible force, all the while watching the bluish air slashes. Around her, eight magic circle-like portals appeared at her sides and under her feet, and from them came a burst of energy. This energy zigzagged through the air, until they collided with one another and created one very large (10-meter) beam that engulfed the slashes. A bright light flashed around them and the air slashes could visibly be seen disintegrating in the brilliance of the magic beam.

Once the spell had been annihilated, Marceline raised her hand again, as if she was going to cast another spell, but instead of casting a spell, her pet attacked. Ramakrishna dashed toward Mura and his spirit companions, carried across the ground at a fast speed due to his tiny paws. At his mouth, an orb of shadow gathered in a whirlpool-like swirl, until it was tightly compacted into an orb at the tip of his maw. When he was close enough to Mura, the aquatic-land mammal released the orb, which split off into smaller orbs to attack various points on his body. The beast would not stick around long and would shadow travel just out of reach of Mura, sitting down to clean at his paws. Marceline smirked defiantly at her opponent, being brought back down to ground level, her arms crossed underneath her bust. “Go ahead, throw all of your spells at me; waste your mana because the longer you stay near me, the less and less you’ll have!” she laughed aloud.

After hearing her all-out opinion of cliche 'superheroes', despite that Mura couldn't really see himself at the alter of legends, he couldn't but smile with a little please. "I guess we're even, then. Don't people have their usual thoughts about you, too?" he replied with a rather cocky, yet slightly peaceful voice, "Perhaps it's about being remembered. Something that a lot strive for..." His blade's movement would slow down for a moment, before he readied it for her quite angered face over the hurt, small rats that attacked him earlier. As if she didn't expect such thing, but he was surprised at how she countered his Halo Blade with such an ease on her face. It was almost provoking. She does use power, too, he thought for a moment, then quickly threw a glance on his oracle device, Hm... and yet she has a lot left, what are the odds. He would in a hurry focus his view on her next move, spotting that she didn't directly charge at him, but let her pet... something do the bidding this time. He had no time to waste, so in a swift movement, he pressed on the device. A bolt surrounded his body, just as the pet 'something' launched its black ball towards the shaman. Judging by the information that he barely saw on the oracle, it was quite a powerful attack to be launched out of a dog-like being's mouth...

Judging by the information that he barely saw on the oracle, it was quite a powerful attack to be launched out of a dog-like being's mouth...

A metallic presence showed itself before him, also revealing a hole in the sand below it. So, what happened was that Mura decided to dig into his other power and find himself with quite the good conditions to utilize it; he was surrounded by sand, a stone type that could easily be changed into pure iron. The iron shield that he creatively made at the moment of impact was just enough to block the black bullets this time as the sandy fog would settle, showing himself unharmed by it. He had a thought that she was just trying to make him waste mana; despite herself being in that same situation. He thought that it was time to switch roles, and let him be the one to play around with her. "I see... well, who'll drop down first? I wonder," he spoke up in excitement, before moving his hands in a quick, yet elegant volley of formations that lasted in the blink of an eye. The metallic shield would deform, only to embody a bubble of iron that spread out needles of the same element. The blonde bolt was still apparent on his contour as he closely watched at how his opponent was about to handle this one...

Mura's rambling of equality was uninteresting to her, which caused the Grim Heresy mage to yawn and cover her mouth with a hand. She turned her head away a little, as if to express that she was utterly bored with how he tried to compare dark and legal mages. Instead, she looked back to the shaman and watched as a he raised a barrier-like aura and blocked the aquatic animal's attack. Tilting her head a little, she curiously observed the magic that the man displayed, studying what it could and couldn't do. When the shadow orbs had passed through the barrier, they were instantly annihilated, but whether the shield stayed up, she didn't know. A smile played across her lips and she thought that she could do the exact same thing, too, only much cooler. However, he hadn't yet made an attack on her, so she wouldn't make a move to display her magical possibilities.

The second that he had summoned iron orbs that shifted into needles and were flung at her, Marceline drew upon her lineage. In a matter of seconds, an adamantium shield appeared at her side, stripped diligently to her arm, where she drew it in front of her. His summoned needles would implant themselves into her shield, but otherwise, would leave her unharmed by his spell. Her smirk never left her lips, too amused by the fact that he was not able to get a single hit on her yet. However, she couldn't be too cocky, or else she would end up getting in the way of being able to win this battle. "You know, messing with a person who controls both life and death is likely not the best of ideas," she stated. Raising a hand, energy emitted from the palm, flying down into the ground, where three skeletal beings rose to stand around her.

They took on a guarded stance, but other than that, they did not wield shields or weapons of any sort; they simply stood there. Her minions were nothing more than beings who were fleshless, meatless, just bones that rattled in the wind. However, they would stand there and protect her when it was needed, making sure that Mura could not get to her. She had aces up her sleeves, but soon, she would run out of them and then what would she be left with using? Marceline had to watch what she was doing, make sure that she could keep those aces up her sleeve and use them only when necessary. Mura, she did not know entirely what he was capable of, especially since he could control and wield souls at his disposal. What if he tried using the souls that were stored into her being, that allowed her to function and work as a normal human?

    A Soul-less Counterpart [Private | PvP | Marcy] Empty Re: A Soul-less Counterpart [Private | PvP | Marcy]

Post by Mura Kensho 3rd August 2016, 3:41 am

Mura would suddenly spot that his iron needles hadn't reached her skin as, all of a sudden, an auric appearance presented itself before him; unlike her earlier magic power, this boiled with life. Hence she reffered to herself as a controller of both life and death, which only worried Mura more than before. That energy... is that her soul?, he thought for himself, while she followed up with spawning three skeletal summons from nowhere. The shaman focused his sight towards her, soon to realize a very weird thing about her; she didn't only have one soul within her, or it seemed like that. Apparently, there were more than just one; in fact, there were a lot. "..." He was, honestly, astonished by the amount of souls that were bound with that Coming Storm, "Her... her arsenal is way bigger than mine..." They were seemingly victims, or so it seemed. It could've been volunteering sacrifices as well. Either way, he was also fascinated by how her body could handle so many auric being inside of her; he, himself, could max have two souls inside himself, his own and another. Were those spirits her source of power, then?

He had to do something against the skeletal guards first; they would most likely be a pain in his ass if he just ignored them. However, he couldn't ignore Marceline and whatever she was planning to do. "Zir," he spoke to his spirit buddy as the samurai exited his body, "Keep an eye at her. And Kyuken, stay ready." The shaman would then follow up with several, simultaneous movements and seemingly handsigns with both arms, as the iron that floated around the lady and her skeletons would collect itself between them all. He couldn't use it defensively after the last attack, but he hoped to use it as a distraction. The iron would reform itself into a long (30 meter long) blade that would begin to spin like a teetotum. With that, he launched it towards the gang before him, mainly the skeletons. He had no idea of how Marceline would react, but he hoped that his little semi-plan would work...

All that the magus could do, while waiting to see Mura's reaction to her defense against his spell, was smile wickedly. She still stood guarded, the massive adamantium shield settled in front of her to protect her from anymore attacks. It would not last much longer, but she knew that she could at least get out an additional spell protection before it faded. However, it would be up to Mura on how quickly he attacked her; then again, she had minions standing poised beside her. He would be far more distracted by those minions than to be focusing on the magus who happened to control them. Yet, as she watched him, the iron that had been used to create the needles gathered at a point in front of the squad. Marceline frowned at the gathering of the iron, observing how it built up into a lance-like creation in front of her.

Slamming the shield into the dirt, it would sound as if the adamantium had smashed into wooden or concrete flooring. The sound echoed into the empty atmosphere, but a sudden warcry was raised into the air following the shield's beckoning. While it didn't sound so much as a warcry, the minions that once stood guarding Marceline now charged Mura. Their hands were raised into fists, as these creatures were not able to wield any type of weapon other than their fists. As they reached Mura, the skeletal beings would attempt to bash their fists into the sides and face of the Fairy Tail mage.

"You have to understand, child; when there is a fight between another and myself, I will not back down until I am the last one standing," she called out. Reaching with one hand behind the shield down to her belt, she unhooked the whip that was wrapped at her side.

Raising her hand, the whip came flying out toward the other magus, aiming to latch its blades into his skin. Once it hooked onto him, the weapon would begin to drain the needed energy out of the mage, until none of it was left. Flames would rise up around Mura and envelop him, the feeling of burning alive coursing through his veins. However, the second that this ability was over, the flames would die down until noting is left, but leaving a soul burn in the end. Marcy would pull her whip back at that point, letting it drag back to her side, where it curled around her feet like a snake. She would not hesitate to launch another attack, though, her whip reaching out to once against snake around Mura. Again, the blades would attempt to dig into his skin as it wrapped around him and held him in place, piercing his skin.

It appeared that it took some power to slam that shield down; nonetheless was it disarmed from Marceline, an achievement for now. Right after it landed on the black sand beneath their feet, the horde of 3 skeleton-men charged at him with the sole purpose of landing everything that they had at him. "Here they come, Mura..!" Zir warned him. Thanks to that, Mura recieved the iron object by moving his hands in a spear-like fashion, causing it to move right through one of the skeletons from their blind angle. Either way, the iron began molding itself around his katana as a kind of hide, preparing him to face the skeletons.

"Heh, first time for everything... I guess," he replied to the quite confident mage before him as he would cause his blade to extend in lenght; a slash of mana followed the metal's directions and helped him cut through and, hopefully, get rid of all these summonings. Come on, I was the one to distract you, not the opposite!, he thought. He was curious of what she was planning to do right now, until a whip made its appearance right before him; thanks to the skeletons, he couldn't dodge it. With a scent of desperation, he tried to slam it away with his metal-stacked sword, before it could bury its claws into his already hurt skin. Cracks were heard from his sword and flames erupted from it at the point of impact, fading away as if unsatisfied by the surface that it just touched. "That was close, Mura..!" Kyuken commented, "But we haven't laid a single hit on her yet! What now..?!" The shaman breathed a little heavy, aiming his eyes around himself. Perhaps there were no other choices...

The boy soared up to the air, convinced that the skeletons couldn't do something similar. While having his eyes on Marceline, his mind faded away for a brief moment as something leaked out of his wounds; a sinister, dark aura, completely contradicting his earlier appearance, engulfed the young samurai and caused a lot to change. Black marks were visible on his skin, and his hair bristled like electric charges. It was as if he camouflaged himself with the night sky itself; his eyes were empty and watching her whip launching towards him once again. The shaman grabbed Kyuken's spirit and launched it into his chest, before charging to the side in order to dodge the quite fast whip. His speed was at a high level at the moment, a mix of his flying ability and the spell that he unleashed, which he took use of as he charged right down at Marceline. The effect of her disease-like presence was repelled by his spiritual armor, letting him get closer without receiving damage. A roar in a totally different tone than from his earlier voice erupted from him as he swung the darkened blade at Marceline's figure, a sense of bloodlust controlling him and his thoughts for the duration...

Moving her arm away from her, she summoned the shield back to her side, letting the metal clasp back around her arm. She would not let Mura take ahold of her when she was at her finest; the spirit magus would go down before she did. Grinning wildly, the woman watched as Mura charged into battle against the skeletal beings, only to be pushed back by her whip. However, as expected by the summons, the creatures were quickly annihilated by the likes of the young man. Marcy would summon more, she thought, but she didn't want to waste her magical power when it was already quite low. For now, she would have to suffice with fighting with her weapon and utilizing Ramakrishna to the best of her ability. Blinking her eyes, the woman was quickly dragged from her reverie and back into the real world, focusing on Mura.

Somehow, the magus had gotten from the ground to the sky in the time of her thinking and it slightly confused her. Tilting her head a little, the woman decided on what she wanted to do about the Fairy Tail mage now that her summons were down. She didn't have much time to think, though, as Mura had already planned an attack ahead of time and was launching it at her. Frowning, she raised the shield in front of her, letting the blade collide with the sword as he rammed his weapon into it. Lowering her shield, she smirked at Mura, unscathed, and raised her hand, sending the blades of her whip at him. Again, they would attempt to wrap around the magus and hold him tight, so that he would not be able to use his weapon. This left him useless and under her control, where she would be able to attack him as much as she needed.

As they stood there, staring each other down, Marceline would raise a hand and an orb of death energy appeared in her palm. Curling her fingers, she'd flip her hand around, so that her palm was now facing toward the shaman and his companions. A beam would emit from the orb that was held tight in her hand, racing toward Mura in the hope of dealing damage to him. More so, an aura of sparkles seemingly radiated around the woman that amplified any of her attacks by 50% Marceline let out a dark laughter, one that sounded as if it was coming from a maniacal woman with no sense of sanity. That wasn't far off to the true description of the woman, who stood before Mura with nothing more than that thought of slaughtering him. Death was on her mind and she would not stop until he was on the unconscious or even lifeless for that matter.

That bastard and her shield blocked his charging attack quite well, letting Mura down as he hoped for at least one, single hit until now. The anger caused the cloak of plutonian substance to boil as if it was attracted to those kinds of expressions; also the way that it swurled around Marceline when approaching her was notable. The whip of hers was launched at him, most likely as a counterattack. This time, it was lashed around his body as the shaman could feel the penetrating blades cut through his skin. A roar came out of him, pain was felt once again, but his empty eyes were still shut right through Marceline's. She followed up with a dark orb, most likely to finish her move at the moment; as if he would let himself get hit by a dark spell the way that he was now. What she hadn't realized yet, hopefully, was that he had a great advantage against dark spells. As the orb was launched right at him, it appeared not to make him stagger at all; in fact, the orb shattered by the mere contact of his face, fading into nothingness. "Nice try..!" he growled with a deep voice, almost as if two persons were talking at the same time. He quickly followed up by swinging his legs in a clock-wise kick towards her torso; the first one to try and see if she would block, and then another one to be landed right on her belly. It was now that he had a chance to land a hit, for God's sake...

The mark on her back pulsated with a purplish glow, feeding off the anger that resided both inside of Mura and her. On the second pulsation, a cry released from her lips and wings peeled out from her backside, spreading wide around her. Her clothes shifted from the black leather halter top to a bone-like armor encasing her chest with clips that hooked onto a bikini-like bottom. From the middle of her thighs down the middle of her feet, a bone-like substance coated her legs as a means of protection. Lastly, an arrowhead-pointed tail snaked its way from behind her backside to flick around at her side mischievously. She smirked wildly at Mura when he was wrapped inside of her weapon, tilting her head a little and baring long canines. "I love a man who puts up a struggle," she spoke seductively to him, her wings moving to settle down in front of her.

"But why don't you just settle down and let me take care of this, hm?" she inquired next, bracing herself for his attacks. "I don't think you understand the severity of what you're getting yourself into because no matter what, you will not win." Again, the vortexes would appear around Mura and her, allowing for rats to piling out of them and rush the shaman (120HP dmg). However, while this was happening, he actually had managed to land a decent hit on her (-50% dmg), but the second he got too close, a barrier wrapped around her. His strikes would still go through, but due to their magically enhanced power, it would be reduced in damage toward her. With wings wrapped around her, they were her only protection from getting directly hit by the magi's strength and power. As a result of his attacks, however, some of the rats began to die off, their life being siphoned by Marceline's aura.

He felt like that he did land a few hits on her, but something odd was surrounding his successful landings; vortexes of magic seemed to pull off some of the damage that he was hoping to land on her. Sadly, her weapon was still drilling through his skin and caused more damage towards himself. He obviously didn't want to listen to her words, still being a little optimistic at getting through this hell of a battle. "I... ain't done yet," he let out, before triggering another of his abilities; before the rats approached him, the shaman was suddenly all ethereal and auric as if he was a spirit himself. Quickly, he moved away from the transformed Marceline and watched the rats over at her, curious of their actual purpose. Well, she did transform and all, so something must've happened to her spells. However, Mura could've checked it out if not affected by his dark spell, which left him with one objective.

Feeling the strain taking over as he'd been caused severe damage, the shaman had his eyes closing on Marceline. ... I can't... I... His thoughts were getting even more confusing to him, and it began to annoy him a lot. He couldn't think clearly like earlier. Also, other voices were raging around his mind at the moment; not his own, but strange calls like 'burn' and etc. He didn't have any idea of what those voices were here for, but all he could think of was to charge again. Therefore, his magic power surged out of his body, taking form of a giant torso of Kyuken, with the same sinister theme as before. Despite the struggle, he lashed the giant embodiment of his katana at the newly changed Marceline...

"You might not be done yet, but with each hit that you throw at me, I'm only going to come back stronger!" she yelled at him. However, as she watched him, she would notice that there was a change in his demeanor as well as his appearance. The rats would keep away from him, filling her up with power until she was fully healed from the damage taken by Mura. She wasn't sure what to make of it, but she would not let her guard down and she would make sure she came out alive. This magus, as strong as he was, would not stand a chance against the power that she displayed, she could tell. He was already growing weak from her attacks, yet something was preventing her from killing him off entirely. Ripping her whip free of him, the woman would backlash his attack with her own, flinging the thong of her whip at him (28.5HP).

In a matter of seconds, as the mimicked Kyuken came flying at her, Marceline's body would disintegrate into ash. The specks would float apart as the visage slammed through them, dealing no damage to the woman when it happened. Marcy reappeared behind Mura, lashing out her whip again in hopes of getting another nick in his skin for attacking her. "You can't win a fight if you can't even land a hit on your opponent! You're a weakling! You don't have a chance against the likes of me!" she yowled out. A grin was wide on her lips again, excitement showing in her eyes as she ready herself for whatever attack he planned. Breathing in deeply, the woman would yank back her whip and draw it to her side, eyeing Mura up and down. Lastly, she would lay down the weapon again, aiming to hook its blades into the man's skin and rip it apart (28.5HP).

The upcoming whip from the front would be repelled by his spirit-bound golem form that he created earlier as he watched the thong beat on the aura, only to be launched back. He thought that his upcoming attack at her would be succesful, due to her attempt to hit him herself, but as he watched the blade go right through what appeared to be a black dust, he frowned in rage. She still had that ability in her possession, it appeared. It would only make things even more difficult for him. He began swifting the dust with the blade in nonsense, until suddenly spotting its reappearance behind him. It was a weak point at the back, only about half as sturdy an auric armor as everywhere else. However, as strong and piercing as her weapon was, it wasn't that which broke down the armor; rather, it was the insane aura that now approached his skin like a pest. He watched an opening on his back as the cosmetic aura burned through.

He quickly spun his body around to launch another attack on Marceline; now that she'd gone too close, he couldn't let his guard down. He had to make her back off somehow, or her aura would conclude the battle. The black tempest that surrounded his embodied armor began exploding into slashes by the movement of his sword, charging in all directions in an all-out rampage. It didn't suit Mura to be so enraged during battle, but he wasn't himself anymore. At least, for now, it was...

Another smirk drew across her lips, one that was more maliciously intent than the ones that had been before it. Her clawed fingers raised upward in the air, then came down in front of her, with her index finger pointed straight at Mura. "How many times have I told you now that you cannot touch what can't be killed?" she inquired in a voice that was darker than before. The smile remained on her lips, finger pointed at Mura, as if she was waiting for him to answer, but in the end, she wasn't. With a single flick, her wrist went from where it was straight in front of her off to the right side of her body. One long, death energy slice had appeared in the air like a slash of a sword's blade through the air and straight at Mura (-45HP + -5%HP from her UA). However, she wasn't paying much attention to his actions and it resulted in Mura being able to attack her in the end.

The blades of wind or whatever they happened to be made out of came crashing down upon her and pushing her back. She was not able to feel them cut into her body, though, let with rather large gashes across her chest cavity and arms. Marceline was angered, but there wasn't much that she could do other than hope that her former spell managed to hit Mura. Now that he was getting attacks on her, it wouldn't be long before he was draining her of her own health rather than her draining his. Dust fluttered around her, though overall, she remained stationed where she had been pushed back by the slashes. When the dust fluttered out of her view, she came face to face with Mura again, whether he was down or up. If he was down, she'd smirk and leave the scene, so that he could rot in the desert with the rest of them; if he was still standing, she'd prepare for a fight.

The almost insane Mura managed to land a good cut on the lady, the first good one in a while during this god-forsaken battle; that title earned its rightful use for many reasons. A grin would show up on his lips, all ignorant about the sudden counter that the death lady caused on him. It all happened so quickly, though; he couldn't help but overlook the amount of damage that was dealt on him. Midair, he would soar, having a large cut that went across his shoulder and down to his hip, while blood splashed out of the line. It was intensely bad for him, due to his present state, and it was enough to blow away his dark form in the blink of an eye. His eyes, still lifeless, looked up at the sky as his body fell on the soft sand, while the blood covered his entire torso. It would take a few seconds for him to fade away, hearing Kyuken's voice as the samurai caught his conscience as well. 'Mura... mura..!' were the last words that he heard in that battle, before passing out...
