It had been around a week since Ruvel had been sent to deliver something to the arena where the grand magic games where annually held. Ruvel had never heard of the tournament before, but that wasn't exactly hard to imagine if you knew the past of the youth. When he had completed the task he had been given he got in contact with Alisha, this was to ask if he could remain in the city a while longer. Alisha gave her blessing and would of course let the CEO of the trading company know where the one he had taken an interest in was so he wouldn't worry. She knew that Cirven had a good heart and would try and help anyone, but at the same time he was doing things for the strange youth that he had never done for any other member so she had questions but knew better than to ask. She knew that things would come to light in their own time and pushing would only cause them both to pull back.
He had been there for three days thus far and had been staying at the back of the outpost of the trading company within Crocus. They had offered him a room inside, at one of their homes and even within a hotel each evening and each evening he respectfully declined. The manager of the outpost finally got in touch with the company's headquarters about a strange youth that slept outside like a homeless person. He was met with a chuckle and told that they must have met Ruvel, not to worry he was a strange one as he done the same thing there but he done everything requested for him; that and the owner had took a special interest in him so just to leave him be, he'd eventually return back home. Ruvel heard the conversation and it made him feel like he had pestered them with how he was but it wasn't exactly like he could change a lifetime of how he had lived.
As dawn started to rise he sat up looking over the sky, he only remembered one other time where the morning sky looked as if it was burning and he knew it was a very bad omen. Standing he moved to the mess hall and grabbed a glass of water to drink, it was the same every morning the people who tended the mess hall offering him food saying he had to put some weight on. Each morning he declined their offer and just drank the water before clearing up after himself and heading out. He was unsure what he would find out about to day but the burning sky riddled his mind as to what could go wrong and for who the dark omen was for.
