Well boys I done goofed. I may be bad at math but I do believe I went an exceeded 6 months without official notice. But even still with this vaguely worded penalty over my head, I have decided I would like to try and begin resuming my activity here. In my years here I've never actually seen this rule enforced soooooo... Admins? What's my fate? What exactly happens to me, The Imp, and The Geezer?

Not a question entirely needing answered anymore. A friendly mod did help me out: I am in fact required to face a hard reset. Which might be a fun adventure in of itself? Maybe. I guess I'll find out.

Aw man, sorry to hear about the reset. But I'm glad you're trying to look at it from a more positive point. Anyway, maybe ask a mod about that? I'm not really sure about the forfeiting possessions thing, but the only instance I've seen it happening is when you post a 'permanently quitting the site' thread :T. Maybe you still have a chance.

It's a horrible rule all together that only discourages people from returning,  something that isn't a problem on most sites.

It occurs to me this thread is becoming a bit of a pity party. I don't want anyone to feel bad about me having to do a hard reset. The rules are the rules. It would be worse if the staff let exception ad exception happen while the rules exist. We'd be in a lawless wasteland.

Past that, thank you all for the warm reception. TBH I thought I was gonna show up to a little less welcome response something along the lines of, "this guy again? WTH is his deal?" and what not. So thanks for not being like that despite my delinquent tendencies.
