Dangers of Society

Oras woke up whilst on the branch, the same position he fell asleep in. He opened his eyes, glancing through the dark visor of his mask. He typically took it off when he turned in for the night, but the girl who had pretty much prodded him until he surrendered, and accepted her as a... Apprentice, of sorts. He was teaching her the ways of the world, while also teaching her how to defend herself against it. He was assuming that once she had a firm understanding of the world, she would perhaps, leave. However there was also the chance she may want to stick around and hang around him, be the friend she was claiming she wanted to be. Oras wasn't exactly... Sure how he felt about that concept just yet. He did wish to have a companion, but the fact that she was pushing to be his friend this early made him uneasy. He didn't quite trust her, not yet. It would be a while before he legitimately trusted her.

He had woken up before the sun rose, like he always did. He turned his head to the tent and it didn't look like she had risen yet. He rolled to the side and began sliding of the branch, catching it as he fell to reduce his momentum and straighten his posture, before he let go, landed on the ground. He began to walk over to the tent. She clearly wasn't as good at he was at traveling with urgency. He entered the tent and saw her resting, tapping her with his foot. "Rise and shine. Time to head out."

He moved out of the tent and began to put things back in the bag. The pot for the stew, undoing the fireplace, rolling the logs away. Everything he could to make it seem like no one was here. After that, whether he was awake or not, he'd be taking down the tent and putting it away.

I had slept peacefully throughout the night not having any disturbances and not remembering a single dream that i had that night. I rest within the tent the usual time for myself waking up being decently early so the nudging of the foot is enough to get me up but be rather groggy and not fully awake. I slowly get out of the tent still wearing the same clothes as yesterday as i start doing my normal routine without even thinking about it as i look around the area and my routine is immediately put on hold. Not seeing my cave or anything as my mind enters a slight panic mode as i try to figure out this strange phenomenon but before i could get to dangerous with my thinking i realize that i did travel with someone. Verus if i remember the name correctly and he was going to teach me about society.

With that matter quickly settled i take a calming breathe as i do one of the normal things of my routine and looks for a stream to wash my clothes in but finds none initially and decides it would be to much of a hassle to try and find one since i am traveling with someone. Having a faint idea that Verus wouldn't care if i just suddenly walked off for an hour and came back. He would most likely of left by then and i would be once more left alone with no direction of where things are at. I just have to calmly wait for you to put things away as i look around the area for anything interesting but just finds the usual ground tat i like and am familiar with.

After a few moments of silence i turn to you and have to ask. So when is breakfast in our journey Verus, and how far away is our destination in mind? I ask curiously as i turn to you having my jacket back on which was used as a blanket during the night.

Oras took down the poles keeping the tent up when she came out. She did not seem to be the morning person type whatsoever. In addition she seemed extremely confused when she walked out of the tent. She even seemed like she was panicking, close to doing something drastic. Humans and their lack of self control. It never ceased to amaze him. Either that or her memory was extraordinarily short. If it was the latter case, then she would be insanely difficult to work with. However she seemed to calm down a little bit, so he figured she was just used to a different life style. Perhaps she only forgot this morning and would remember the next one. Regardless of what happened, he knew he could handle her if she did lash out at any given moment. Or rather, he was presuming he could. He wasn't sure of her full capabilities just yet. Or if she was actually holding back. However judging by what he just saw, he was leaning towards believing she wasn't immortal and actually far older than she appeared to be. This was one question close to being solved.

By the time she had spoken up, he had finished putting the tent away, and was now fluffing up the grass in order to make it look as if nothing was standing there. He stood up straight scanned the trees real quick before heading into them, leaving her behind. When he went down a good ways he approached an apple tree and picked one off, throwing it her direction for her to catch. He then pulled off a second apple, threw that one as well, before taking one for himself, and pocketing it. He returned to the area and nodded for her to follow him as he began to walk on the road again. When she asked him how far away was it he didn't bother looking at her when he spoke. "About a quarter of a day's journey. I would be there by now if I hadn't run into you... Or rather, you running towards me."

I wait patiently as i watch you take down this tent making sure to memorize the process so it could then be done to set up the tent. Just working things backwards of how i am seeing them now. I calmly wait for you to return after you had headed into the woods a little bit not knowing what your purpose but figuring you'd return or do something to signal me to follow if this was you heading out for whatever direction we are going to go in today. As you throw me the apples i happily take the two and start to eat them after making sure their wasn't any detectable poisons on them. Just doing so encase this is a test to be on my guard as always which you seem to like to do if yesterday is anything.

As you nod towards me and start to walk towards the road i quickly catch up to you as fast as i can then matches your pace of speed as i follow you. Hearing the amount of time it would take i nod my head keeping in mind that time frame since that could be a good conparison for the future to figure out how far towns are spread apart from each other. What's the place's name? I ask curiously to you wanting to know what i can of the place that we are going to.

It seemed that she had managed to catch the two apples rather than the apples simply hitting her on the forehead, shoulder, or in some other physical manner.  Despite the fact that she did not seem to be a morning person, her reflexes were sharp enough to allow her the ability to catch something in mid air the way she did.  It was an interesting note, and i satisfied him, for the moment, that she couldn't be caught off guard easily.  Well, by anything other than magical means that is.  He was confident that if he used his magic, and didn't hold back, no matter what she was hiding from him, he would be able to handle it.  At any rate she wasn't showing much signs of threat at the current moment, or any threats for that matter.  While it didn't hurt to be cautious and keep protective, he knew that there was a difference from being cautious, and being absurdly paranoid.  He had no qualms with her traveling with him...  For now that is.

She then asked him what the name of the town they were heading to was.  He didn't answer right away, instead pulling out his bag and reaching into an outer pocket, pulling out a folded map.  He repositioned the bag on his shoulder before he began unfolding the map of Fiore.  He then handed her the map.  "Why not find out yourself?"  He asked her.  By determining where they were before, and what direction they were heading, she should be able to use the map to figure out which road they were on, and follow it to the town they were heading towards currently.  It wasn't a difficult task, and if she didn't know how to read a map, that was one of the easier things to teach her how to do.

I watch as you take out of your pack some sort of paper thing as my mind quickly tries to put a word to it that i might've heard once over my hearing of people's travels and during my short education in my hometown. I frown for a few minutes as i hold this thing when asked to try and find the town myself. My eyes widen in happiness as i figure out i'm holding a map i then continue to walk as i try to figure out what to do with it. I look around the area and finds names of what seems like places and a general line that i can assume are roads that people travel. Seeing this i look towards the sun and ascertain the direction we are heading. I smile a bit as i figure the direction now their is only the where we are.

I look around the map trying to find where we last were as i also try to remember the name of that town i was close to when i had ran into you. As i think on that i shake my head not knowing at all that town was since i had never got even near it or overheard anyone say the name of the place, so i can only take a rough guess of where we are from the scenery around us. I look up from the map and looks around to see if their are any things people would take note of be it some type of weird cave, or mountains that could be around. Having seen things like that listed on a map before that i was given when i was a child.

I look at the map and all its little notes and extra things written upon it to try and give meaning and understanding to the places that Verus most likely visited at some point. I look at this Hargeon and scratches that one off right away as a place i had been near when starting this travel, and not some place that i would be going to. The place having many jobs so you would be busy and telling me to get lost and that i am to weak to help if you had some big job to do as a mage. Also it doesn't seem important enough to go to at the moment since their isn't anything to repair, and i don't think we'd be doing much trading.

I then see a town called Magnolia on the list and lists that as a possible town that we could be going to. The place seeming rather chaotic so it seems like it could fit your teachings of being careful and try to put them into practice while they are their if anything. Magnolia seeming a good pick for a destination to head to. However, i do find myself curious why a specific guild was mentioned of all things. I grin a bit wondering if they are so strong they got your attention to be mentioned specifically. Figuring they would have to be strong or seen as a goal of some sort since you have standards you seem to like to have, so something to surpass that seems rather difficult from my perspective of viewing things. With this Fairy Tail has become something worth checking if i can in my eyes to see what is going on in that place to be mentioned.

I then see a location called a garden place with a guild named after the location and what i can assume are two names. I look at your attire and decide that this place can't be it from what i think. It just seems to normal and fancy, if the names Charlotte and Desiree are anything to go by, for such a getup and especially to fancy for bringing me towards it if i don't know any rules of society from how you wish to keep me close to stop me from doing anything dumb.I then look towards Beanstalk and nods my head as that seems the most likely one to have been the place i had come from.

Okay so mister Verus we are heading to Magnolia and we came from Beanstalk Village is that correct? I ask you curiously wondering if i was able to figure that out without actually using the map in any real terms. Just the words you had written down and some analyzing. Lots of analyzing actually.

Oras walked in silence as she thought, enjoying nothing but the sounds of nature as they moved. Space... The perceivable dimensions of this world which include height depth and width, which is also intertwined with the concept of time, or rather, that is the official definition. Despite this, many individuals have their own unique perspective on what space and time truly are. According to the science of individuals, in order to get from point a to point b you must physically travel there, whether in a straight line or otherwise. However Oras knew that it was possible to defy all reason and physics, and travel instantly from one point to the other, no matter how great the distance is. While some may call this a wormhole technique, Oras knew that individuals could in fact simply vanish within the amount of time of a zeptosecond, and yet it seems and feels like you do nothing. It defies all manner of physics, quantum mechanics, and other vast categories that mankind has desperately pieced together in hopes of creating a stationary reality.

Futile... All of it. He then heard Amora tell him that they were heading to Magnolia and that they were coming from Beanstalk Village. Oras wondered how she got to that conclusion. She was close in the sense that they left a village and were traveling towards a town, but that was as close as she got. "No. That is incorrect. The village prior to our unorthodox meeting was named Peaceful Village." Perhaps if he left her to figure the rest out, she would slowly catch on to how the map worked more. At any rate, it would delay any questions that would interrupt his mental process of potential debates, allowing him to be prepared for anything others threw at him.

I pout a bit at seeing that as i can only check the map now and try to figure out where this peaceful village was and where they could be going at this rate then. I check this map of this place scanning it for what i can piece together. I find some place called Crocous with some kind of symbol next to it.I look over the other places that don't have weird little notes next to them as i find their are a lot more places to consider them places you have been to. I look at what could be a good place to maybe go to but i don't have any clue. I bite my lip as i want to answer this question to get it over with, but i don't want to ask for help to know how to do it as their seems to be many places that go in this direction that could change at any moment.

If anyone would see me they could see the clear confusion and distress at now looking at the map as a whole and noticing all the little towns and villages spread throughout it and that i clearly don't know where to begin anymore.

Oras saw her pout and, now knowing that the chances of her being an immortal or long living being rather than just an innocent little girl were unlikely, he realized he'd have to work with her as she matured. Despite the fact that she had combat reflexes and could hold her own, she seemed to have a mind closer to that of a young woman rather than a fully grown woman. Regardless of this she did make attempts to find the location he had mentioned, however she seemed to be failing. If she had figured out the basics of reading a map, enough to make an educated guess as to where they were, where they are, and where they were heading, she should have been able to scout the map and find the label peaceful village. However it was becoming more and more apparent she wouldn't.

He reached over and tapped the legend, which showed all the individual markings. "This symbol is for cities. This is for capitals. This is for towns, and this one. This is for villages. Villages aren't as important as towns and cities so the marking and text will be smaller. This is the section Peace village is. Here is the village, and here is the road we are taking." He went step by step to show her exactly how to use and read a map correctly, slowing down so that he was slightly behind her, able to direct her more easily. "A map requires a legend, or a section explaining what all of the markings and symbols mean, in order to read it. I've made several however that are not in accordance with the legend," he said, holding his hand out for her to return the map to him while they walked.

I see the area titled peaceful village and finds myself more then a little bit embarrassed by the fact that i couldn't find something that seems rather obvious now. However, i do find the smaller text to be an annoying feature to add to things since each town is important just as a village. They all seem to hold their own functions if they are different in title. I look at how they classify roads and nods my head keeping that in mind for when i look at a map next as i then grin seeing how useful this could be. Since i imagine maps could be made of anything then be it of a giant place like this fiore that holds all these towns and cities, or of just a town or city for easy navigation.

I hand you back your map when you ask for it not fighting about it since it is your property so it goes back to you. So mist- i mean Verus just Verus is their anything i should expect or not do no matter what while in a town or anywhere in civilization to prevent me from getting in trouble? I ask curiously having that slight slip up in almost calling you mister. Having remembered halfway through the word that you didn't liked being called that. with my hands in my pocket of the nice jacket that is a mixture of a normal one with animal fur sewn in rather crudely. just barely being functional and working but it will work no matter what even if all signs should point to no.

He could see the embarrassment easily. The slight flush when one is embarrassed, looking away slightly. All hints that gave it away. She didn't say it of course, but such actions screamed what she was thinking. That was one of the many reasons Oras chose to wear a mask. One couldn't determine what he was feeling, thinking, or determine his next move if he practiced enough. The cloak also helped conceal his movements, though even that wasn't perfect. She handed him back the map with no objections and he once again took the lead as far as walking was concerned. She would learn how to read a map quickly he believed. In fact, he intended to have her practice tracing the map of Fiore on another piece of paper. And to keep doing so at least five times a day, switching to drawing it rather than tracing, and then eventually drawing off of memory. He wanted her to have a mental map of Fiore, not just a physical map to depend on. That way she would never get lost when traveling the world itself.

She then began to ask him a question, almost calling him mister but stopping and emphasizing on the just Verus bit. Her question was what she should expect from the town, as well as what she should not do while in the town or anywhere else in order to prevent her from getting into trouble. He could think of a long list of things but he'd only be tackling the basics for now. "First and foremost, don't speak to anyone. Only to me and in a low voice. I don't mind you asking questions, but please refrain from using a long stream of questions. If you have to ask a lot of them I suggest writing them down for discussion at a later time. Do not touch any device or tool that you are unfamiliar with. If someone speaks to you or asks you something, do not respond unless I give the ok. As for what to expect, there will be much noise of great variety, much of it work or conversation related. The first thing we are going to do however is find you a suitable outfit. Especially since you ripped yours up a little during your training."

I sewed my clothes back together just fine. I say with a smile on my face even though to anyone else this thing would look like it is barely hanging on by a thread. That it is barely functional from how it looks physically. However, for whatever reason even though it looks rather barely holding onto a thread it somehow works on not falling apart in any way. As you stress the points of what to expect of loud noises i find myself curious what a lot of noise would be like since it had been years since i have been anywhere that i have lived that the average volume wasn't that of a blowing wind that rustles leaves, or the crickets that live outside.

I then hear the things i am allowed to do and find myself still annoyed by that fact however you had told me the why's of such things last night so i know why they are important. It still doesn't stop me from being upset with such rules on me. I get a bit bored during the walk and just starts looking around for anything that would be a new experience for me wanting to see as much as i can right now of the world and learn from it. Being rather innocent to anything and would make for a rather easy victim to any trick to use people for their skills or for worse possibly their bodies to sell those things off under some false good intentions. The victim only being aware of how wrong everything is when it is to late to escape from it. However, luckily i am at least semi-prepared for such trickery by being skeptic of people's actions and such from you telling me to not trust others now encase they try to do anything that would not be good for me.

Oras heard her response and glanced at her clothes before looking back towards her.  The poor thing tried and tried but she just wasn't very good at mastering on the fly.  With anything other than combat that is.  She was a survivalist after all.  He pointed to all the errors in her work.  "If you are grabbed or struck at the wrong way this will either break or come undone.  In addition I'd suggest getting new clothes because although you made an attempt to sew them back, it is clear that there's been damage.  We don't want that showing everywhere we go for multiple reasons...  If you wish for me to do so, I can repair the damage when I have the time, but for now you need a change of clothing."  She seemed to be finding any excuse as to keep her current clothes no matter what happened or what he said, so he was guessing that they held some importance to her.  Perhaps they were clothes that her parents gave her, who of course were deceased.  Or perhaps she just wasn't used to looking for a second pair of clothing before.

He could see the disdain in her face, knowing that she was upset with restrictions.  Even though she asked him and knew what they were for.  This wasn't going to be any fun he thought.  "Amora, rules are set in place to protect people.  Imagine a child saw a bird and wanted to fly as well.  Without a parent to keep them from doing so, they might leap off a cliff in an attempt to fly.  As a child grows older they learn and have a better understanding of the world and it's dangers, therefore receiving less rules from their peers, and creating more of their own from their understanding.  Right now you are about to leap into a completely different world from the one you've always known.  Every single human has their own unique goals, purposes, plans, intentions, and methods of doing so.  Some are gentle, kind, and welcoming while others are hostile, deceitful, or manipulative.  After we purchase some clothes for you, and possibly other items, we'll visit the inn to rent a place for the night and then I'll take you around the town.  Agreed?"  He thought for a moment before adding.  "Have you decided if you want to have an alias as well, and if so what were you thinking about selecting?"

I frown as i look at my clothes at all the work i have put into them and then bites my lip. I can see all the flaws within my attempts at fixing them but even then i have trouble wanting to let them go. I know this is arisk for me in combat when it comes to those humans, but i just can't let them go for whatever reason. I just sigh softly and resign myself to throwing it away when the time comes and i shouldn't think to much on it or i could end up growing more attached to my coat. I think on what clothes would i want then? what would be appropriate for travel, comfort, and for when i do jobs that could hold combat within them.

As i am musing on that i hear you mention rules as i listen knowing that you are right before and right now. I am still just not use to the idea of rules and anything that restricts freedom. However, i'll just have to bare with it for now till i can be trusted to take care of myself in these town and villages. I know Verus i'm just not use to the idea of me allowed to do whatever i want whenever i want. Don't worry to much i'll follow your rules even if i may dislike them greatly.

Oras could see that his words did little to comfort her, even his offer to repair the damage of her current outfit. Oras was no master of sewing, but he was skilled enough to repair any damage done so long as it wasn't shredded. It would take him time, but he could make the clothes durable again, possibly more so depending on what materials he had and how lucky he ended up being. Or perhaps when they purchased her clothing they'd get more lucky and the owner would offer repairing her outfit for them. However he was uncertain if they'd be able to trust such a person until they were there and he had a good look at them. He was rather good at determining whether or not he could trust someone, however there were several people he could imagine could deceive even him. Furthermore, Amora would need to be willing to part with the clothing for a bit until it was repaired, to a complete stranger nonetheless. She did run up to Oras and ask him to be her mentor though, and he was a stranger. He just hoped she wasn't so reckless and gullible anymore.

She then told him that she knew about the rules and why she had rules, explaining to him that she wasn't used to having such restrictions before. She then mentioned how she would follow his rules no matter how much she disliked them. As they walked Oras came up with a story he could use. "Did you know that there are those who crave rules and boundaries? There's a story of a man of high position who passed by a school, which is essentially a place where children gather to be taught. The children were playing during break in the backyard, and there was a fence around the area, keeping the children from having more room to play. He worked hard and eventually managed to get the government and school to remove the fences for the children to have more room. When he walked by later, he saw the children playing even closer to the school than before. When he spoke to a teacher, the teacher told him that the children were avoiding the busy streets that was filled with moving vehicles. They felt safer with the fences around. Not only does this explain that rules and boundaries can create a sensation of safety, but that good intentions can easily make things worse if you do not apply wisdom."

I hear this story as i think about it for a moment. People not taking the freedom towards it because they felt unsafe. That with these restrictions they felt safer instead of more anxious. I look up at the sky as i think on this and tries to think why would people feel afraid of freedom. Maybe because they feared the vehicles as the story says? No that doesn't seem right if it is about rules and such why would that be the thing to take from that. I know their is some lesson in this story since it seems like the ones my parents would tell that would have a moral or lesson to take away from this.

I think of the rules with restrictions they felt safe with freedom they felt fear. So the moral of the story is that if things were always free with no rules that things would be unsafe, but with restrictions they would be safer since their are guidelines to follow. I nod my head at my conclusion of this lesson i am suppose to take away as it makes sense if these vehicle things are dangerous then if things were no rules then people could get hurt. Thinking on that makes me curious what else is in these societies that they need even more rules to try and protect themselves. What have they created that could be so dangerous? I find myself very excited to see what they have done.

I soon hear weird sounds that makes me focus back on the world around me. I look around and see this strange town that has these people in metal standing around or walking around. I see metal things moving along the streets and so many people walking. I hear bits and pieces of conversations that doesn't make any sense as i my mind tries to piece this together, and most of all it is all way to loud. I cover my ears trying to cut back down on the noise all of this seeming like blasting music to my ears which is use to the quiet nights of the forest. I look to see signs and such everywhere with words trying to hint at what type of shop it is. I just seem confused and a mix of scared/annoyed by all of this noise and such. My body not moving at all from basically having a sort of sensory overload from all of this.

Oras noticed Amora covering her ears and knew that she was having a sensory overload. Oras placed his hand on her back and urged her forward, keeping her walking with him closely. The nearby guards looked at him with high suspicion. A man in a cloak, hood and mask was leading a girl covering her ears, rather quickly into the town. He saw people starting to mutter among themselves while he walked along. He was unsure if Amora would detect these, due to her being rather overloaded, but whether or not she did he needed to lead her to a tailor's shop. In all honesty it wasn't too noisy. It was a rather steady day. Oras saw a passerby and flagged them down. "Where can we find a clothing shop or tailor?" The man looked at Oras and the girl with some concern before pointing in a direction. Oras nodded and led Amora down the street and turned a corner. He saw the sign and opened the door for Amora. Thankfully, the shop was empty.

The man at the counter looked up from his papers with a smile. "Hello there! How can I..." He stopped when he saw the overloaded girl as well as the cloaked and masked man. Oras walked up to the counter, giving Amora time to cool off. "We need an outfit to be made, custom order. After that if you are able to, we need her current clothes to be repaired."

I don't notice the mutterings just being overwhelmed with people wearing so many different colored clothes and styles of hairs and eye colors. My mind just trying to understand that as then their is the city built with so many materials that i could pick from to make amazing weapons. The people talking amongst each other and laughing with each other. The stores filled with shiny gold and silver things that i see people wearing around their necks or on their fingers. Clothes and some stores saying they sell other things that could be useful on the road or possibly somehow even magic. I find myself confused and perplexed by this wondering how could people use things bought in a store for magic. I don't notice myself being pushed and moved around my mind making me think i am somehow gliding along the ground as i walk each and every step. As i get more and more into the town the more i seem just confused by all these things. Eventually i end up in a shop as i look around and slowly calm down as i try to figure out where i am now.

I take deep calming breaths as i slowly uncover my ears and looks around very unsure making sure to not say a single word at all as i see lots of different clothes. I grin gleefully and immediately starts looking around the store at all the different styles of clothing that can be here. Like a kid in a candy store.

The man stared into Oras' black visor, unsettled by the fact that a cloaked man in a mask had barged in, pushing a girl inside who seemed overwhelmed and possibly scared, and then make an order for clothing, and a request to have her clothes repaired. Why did she need the clothing repaired. He hesitated before saying or doing anything, feeling that the masked man was dangerous and wondered if he should get the guards sent after him. Oras of course, knew that Amora was a risk the moment he stepped into the town and she had reacted the way she did. He needed to think of a way to defuse this before he became a fugitive. "Um, ok well, do you have anything particular in mind? Another... Cloak, perhaps?" Oras shook his head. "It's her outfit. Amora? Do you know what you want now?"

Oras backed off and gestured for her to come over to the counter. After she shared what kind of outfit she wanted he'd nod a little, glancing at Oras a second time before looking at her again. "Alright, I can work with that. But as far as your current outfit, um. Where, and how, exactly, did it end up this way? Were you attacked, at all?"

After hearing my name called i go back to you and wave at the stranger with a cheerful smile. Okay so i tell him what clothes i want and then i get them? That is really easy! I say rather cheerfully at such a simple process existing i turn to the person and walks as close as i can from this side of the counter as i look him in the eyes. I would like a piece of clothing that wold be great for combat. You know? Like ones that would reduce the wind against me so i can move faster. Also they have to be durable also. If possible also to have a way for it to cover my face if need be like a hood or what Verus has here. I say as i point to you and more specifically your visor thing. The outfit being a shirt, and pants not one long single piece of clothing. I say to make sure to try and specify. Also if possible darker colors would be nice.

For casual clothes a nice long cloak with animals fur. Also some more pants and shirt would be nice. Maybe 3...yeah 3 of each would work .3 shirt and 3 pants would be for the best. is their anything else i need? I say as i think on that. Also where can i find things to hold my items at? I obviously don't have anything to hold them while on the go mister. I tell the tailor with a smile. Finishing up my order with that. He then asks me about my clothes as i look at them. That obvious huh? Fine Verus if even he can see it i can see why you want me to have new ones to make sure they don't get ruined in fights. My clothes are like this from living in the wild for...8 or 9 winters? maybe more it becomes difficult to keep accurate track of that stuff. Anyway yeah so i lived out in the wild and my clothes are like this since i had to sew them myself anytime they ripped. I then met Verus on the road and he led me to here. The man watched as Amora stepped forward, seeming to be new to ordering anything before. She was rather cheerful however and he wondered if the masked man had told her how to act and what to say before entering the town, almost rehearsed. She then began to explain to him the kind of clothing she'd like. Something that would be good for combat, that reduced wind so she could move faster, durable, and allow it to cover her face like a hood and such. She mentioned how it would be a shirt and pants, not a single piece of clothing, preferring darker colors. The man's face changed to one of confusion. Combat? What was this girl getting herself into? She didn't look like a child, though she didn't appear to be a full adult either. She could be a fighter he supposed, he'd heard some weird stuff in his time. When she mentioned three additional pants and shirts, Oras shifted a little but said nothing. When she mentioned something to hold her items Oras stepped forward.

"Don't worry about that. If you can handle the town when we leave, I can find us an appropriate shop for gear." The shop man was still confused, but when she started explaining her clothing, mentioning eight or nine winters in the... Wild? He couldn't detect any hint of lies in her voice and looked to the masked individual worriedly. Oras nodded slowly. What kind of man was he? And was he really the type of person who should be taking care of someone who's been in the wild so long? He didn't look the sort. He nodded to the two, and decided against getting the guards. "Ok... Um, I'm not sure how to make your clothes better for combat, but-" "I shall assist you with that," Oras stated. He had been making notes as well as some sketches and now pulled them out, handing them to the man. The shop owner looked at these and nodded slowly. "I'll need some time to make these then. If you come back tomorrow afternoon they should be done." Oras nodded.
