Mari was raised to be a lady, but she hated that life. All those fake people, acting like they are something they are not, she could never stand them, with fake smiles and overly complex speeches only made to confuse everyone. Ever since she was little she loves nature. Nature never acts, nature never lies, nature is always what it is, and Mari loves that.
She was forbidden from learning magic, as it was not ladylike, and they had people that instead of her, but that never stopped her. She practised as much as she could when no one was around. Magic also strengthened her connection to nature.
One day while being dragged to yet another dance, she saw a mage of great stature in her town. He showed confidence and power. He acted like if he is not powerful now he strives to be, and she fell in love instantly. It gave her some hope that not all humans are like the ones she was used to, and even though it took some time, she ran away from home and decided to follow him. She was already over 20, and was not quite proficient in magic, but was determined to change that. It did not take long as this time she was free to practice magic as much as she wanted, and nature was always there to help and listen.
Due to her connection with nature, her skin sometimes becomes green, but that does not stop her using her looks to get what she wants. Her red locks, her slim body, her smooth tongue, are the only good things she got from her family, and she will use them until she losses them. She was once part f the governing class, but now strives to destroy it and all the govements it made.
Even though Mari is not physically one of the strongest people, intelligence is where she dominates. She likes fighting from afar, so her delicate body and clothes don't get stained with the blood of her enemies. She uses trees to crush, leaves to cut, roots to restrain and many other things nature gives us when fighting. She is very versed in all the poisons plants can make, and loves using them to hinder her targets. Her attacks are always thought out and calculated. She never attacks impulsively or rather tries not to do it, but if someone is destroying nature, she can not be held accountable for her actions.
What many people don't know is that blood is a great fertilizer, and plants love it. All that stand in her path of covering the whole world in forests will be food for her plants. Even though she sometimes acts mercilessly, she is very capable of using sunlight the plants gather for healing, and boosting. Mari is not much of a leader and likes to follow those that are capable, but if push comes to shove she is very capable to lead those that want to follow.

- Nature: Her immense love for nature was such that she learned nature magic, just so she could be closer to it.
- Direct sunlight: Mari feels most at ease when she is in the direct sunlight. It heals her skin and provides energy.
- Her partner: Mari saw her partner by accident and she fell in love very quickly. The way he carried himself, and his size, were deal makers for her. He shares her mission of government destruction.
Dislikes:
- Senseless killing of animals: Mari understands when people need food, but in this day and age food is very accessible to most, and most of the killing is just for sport.
- Deforesation: Also destroying the forest, why do humans do that? What did the trees do to you?
- Weak people: Humans are in such a position that they can always protect themselves. Being weak and defenceless for humans in unacceptable in Mari's eyes, and most humans are.
Motivations:
- Destroying the system: The system of government, the humans created and gave them all those liberties to kill the animals and destroy the forest, must be stopped.
- Making the largest forest: Covering the world in trees and filling it with animals, the way it should have always been.
- Family: Maybe one day she would like to have a family with her partner.
Fears:
- Being stopped in her mission: Humans are pure evil, and if their colonisation continues to the point of no return Mari would die.
- Death of her lover: Her partner shares her mission of government destruction, and she loves him very much. He is strong, but she still fears for his life.
- Her own death: All her missions can't be fulfilled if she dies. And her partner would be sad and she does not want that.
