A Site Wide Event Idea

The Lava God is huge, visible from miles away on top of the volcano in a lake of lava. It’s the job of Fiore’s top mages to hit this guy with everything they got! Well, not exactly. If the god dies than the pyroclastic flow happens instantly along with the area becoming a volcanic wasteland for generations to come. So don’t kill him!

But do injure him. The more you do, the longer it will take for the pyroclastic flow to happen, the volcanic rain will also get better, giving everyone else more time to evacuate. Your role is very important to this cause!

Occasionally there will be huge falling rocks of lava or incredibly sharp pumice, or giant globs of lava rain. Roll a regular 6 sided die after every post, and if the roll is high (3-6) then one of these disasters will rain on the next poster causing half their rank of damage. If the Lava God hits half his HP of goes under the lava lake the deadly storm subsides, the first time causing you to roll only every second of your post, the 3rd time having you not need to roll at all. This also effects other threads.

Every time he goes under the lava lake (at 30% of his HP or under) to heal himself this adds 20 posts until the pyroclastic flow happens, which is the main goal. This effects other threads.

Each mage participating gains one Artifact (Weapon/Armor/Item) OR can triple their Jewel pay as long as the Lava God does not die so he can grant you one before you evacuate yourselves.

The Lava God:

There are three towns in the area along with various farms in between and they all need to be evacuated ASAP! While you are evacuating people there will occasionally be falling rocks of lava or sharp pumice, or even just a bit of lava rain. Roll a regular 6 sided die after every post, and if the roll is high (3-6) then one of these disasters will rain on the next poster causing half their rank of damage. If there are civilians around you, protect them! These disasters may abate or get worse depending on how the Lava God job goes, and you will be informed about the change in it happens.

Every 10 posts means 1,000 people are evacuated. Each area is in one thread.

This can be done alongside your other thread option unless you are doing the Lava God one. You must be participating in the main story to do this though. Those that participate get either a Legendary (Weapon/Armor/Item) OR double their Jewel reward. It can be soloed or in a team, but you must create your own thread.

Located in the large town, which will generally survive the disaster intact. Some people are monsters who take advantage of other people’s distress and absence in wake of a disaster to steal for their own gain. In this particular instance these people are called looters. It’s your job to stop these looters from stealing people’s belongings while they evacuate! But be careful, some of these people are strong, or come in groups!

… Or you can be a looter yourself, sneaking around to steal the abandoned stuff for yourself. But there are rival looters in the way that you have to defeat! Only dark mages, or people okay with being identified as one, can do this.

PvP (Looter stopper vs looter) can be done instead of monster dice rolling, but both parties must agree to it and regular PvP rules apply. Win or lose, you gain the extra prize.
