Slowly drawing toward the evening, cold wind blowing strong enough to bend what little trees were present in the rocky environment. Weather that would force anyone without proper equipment away in manner of seconds, lest they would face possible loss of life or at least some form of injury on their fleshy bodies. And there she was, among the rubble, a lone girl devoid of any clothes at all. At first, she would most likely appear as a regular human female staring up above at the slowly darkening skies. But at closer inspection, just about anyone could tell that she was far from a normal human being. The absence of any cloth to cover her at all would reveal her body falling apart, revealing amany parts of a machine inside. Her entire left side and shoulder completely missing skin and instead composed of complex mechanisms and metals, ticking away. Her right hand was completely gone, leaving only few wires and broken pistons sticking out of what would normally be a rather gruesome wound.

She was in a horrid state, her eyes shining gold as some sort of projection repeated itself within them, most likely emergency systems trying to connect to the rest of her programming and structure in at attempt to revive the cold and motionless machine. But for now, it seemed that they were going on without any success. If nothing else, whatever forced this being into a such state of disrepear seemed to be long gone, or perhaps looming somewhere nearby, hidden in the shadows? No, she was completely and utterly alone. And yet, there was a sight of a tall building close by among the rocky ground. Something akin to a temple, perhaps? That was what it's structure seemed to suggest. But would anyone at all from there help? Mai was no human and right now, she resembled a mangled corpse more than anything. Not many would even dare to approach such horrific sight. And yet, the machine could do naught but wait and hope someone, anyone at all would approach that motionless body of hers.

Wolfe lay sleeping in his bed in a deep sleep for the first time in weeks. He had gone to bed fairly early this day, about mid afternoon, because he was so tired. His visions had been getting the better of him and he had gone weeks without a full night’s sleep. His visions were becoming more vivid and detailed and he was starting to really worry as to what they meant. If that wasn’t enough he was getting more and more visions while he was awake, but these seemed more like fragments of memory. He was starting to notice the more often and stronger the visions in his dreams the more often he was having these fragments of what he could only assume was his past. Somehow the two were connected in some way, but he couldn’t figure out for the life of him what they had to do with each other. When he asked RAINE and Ardere about himself before his memory loss, both of them denied that he had visions or anything like them before.

However, it seemed this evening was no different as Wolfe was suddenly flooded with visions of gears and wires. Then slowly see saw a body, but it was different somehow. It looked human, but at the same time he could tell it was more than that, that it was made of those same gears and wires. Then there flashes and he saw pieces of gears, wires, metal, and the like everywhere as if they had been thrown everywhere. He then saw the same person, who he couldn’t see clearly, laying on the ground in front of a building in a mangled state. Then the building slowly came into clear view and it was the guildhall.

Wolfe suddenly shot up as if from the middle of a nightmare and looked around. His senses were going crazy and he felt that same pull he felt when he had when Chronos had been awoken. Wolfe lept out of bed and without even throwing on a shirt of his boots he ran downstairs and out the door next to the workshop bay doors. He quickly made his way towards the guildhall hoping his feeling was wrong. However, he was met with just the opposite as he saw what looked like a body on the ground in front of the guild as he came closer. Wolfe then phase shifted and teleported to the side of the body to realize he was looking down at what looked like a young woman. She had no clothes and her body was mangled, but he instantly noticed the wires and showing bits of electronics and realized this is what his vision had been about. As he looked the young girl in the face he could tell she was still with him and he quickly kneeled down and scooped her body in his arms ”Your in bad shape, but you couldn’t be luckier. No one is better suited to help you than me. If you can speak, my name is Wolfe, and I will get you fixed up, just bare with me.” Wolfe then turned towards his place and he started to dash but then began to phase shift again as he made a bunch of quick burst of teleports and a few moments later he was walking into one of the large bay doors to his workshop. He made sure to cover her from the rain that always surrounded his home. He made his way into the bay and laid the girl’s body on a larger white table as he yelled ”RAINE!” then a moment later a 3D projected woman appeared next to Wolfe ”Yes? What can I do for you?” Wolfe turned towards her ”I want a full diagnostic ran on her, I want to know what is broken, or missing, and a list of her components you can figure out and a list of all compatible stuff we have here, and if anything is missing, where I can get it, and compile it for me ASAP. Thank you.” The projected woman smiled and nodded as she disappeared and suddenly a screen appeared to the side of the table as information began to scroll all over it and there was light from under her from the table and from a lacrima orb hanging above the table. They were scanning her for any and all information it could pick up. Wolfe turned and looked her over a little as he waited for the information to gather for him.

The very same projection seemed to repeat itself in the machine's eyes over and over again, endlessly running some sort of code that could not be understood. At least until a single moment when her right eye moved away, no longer fixed at nothing in particular but the distant dark clouds. It was a human, right by her side. He spoke, but his voice was silent to the broken down structure. A single golden eye that was darting from one point to another, scanning the man from head to toe. That was all MAI was capable of right now. There was absolutely no communication to be had, no information could be transferred between these two organisms that were so far apart from each other that it could be easily assumed they were not even from a singular planet. Something that would even be soon confirmed completely. The machine stayed motionless, the gears and wires hanging from her covered in blood as the skin which covered her entire cold metallic body seemed to actually be organic. And yet, he still attempted to save her.

Soon she found herself in a completely new environment, the sudden change in light putting all inner systems that were still online at alert. That one golden eye, it was still moving about crazily, scanning what it could, taking in all the information necessary for survival. There was more speaking, but no voice that could reach her. The center responsible for taking in the vibration of air and transmitting them as voices was offline too. But she could see it. The AI present in this place, as well as the screen which started loading. It was a futile task. Nearly everything she was made out of was an unknown. Alien technology that was never before present in Earthland. Metals unheard of and systems so complex that even masters of technology in this world could not possibly understand. And what more, all information about the AI residing in this body itself was perfectly encrypted and protected. At this rate, surely there was no hope in saving MAI. However, she knew that very well herself. And so, another part of her body started to move, ever so slightly. A long wire with a connector coming from her back. It would start waving from one place to another.

The raw materials and technology required were unknown to this place, but the AI was capable of self-repair to a certain degree. Blueprints and information on chemical reactions that would create new and required materials. All of that data was still inside of her. And she could transfer it to the other system present in the building. All that had to be done was for that jack to be plugged into RAINE. Of course, something like that carried great risks with it, as no one around could possibly know what MAI was capable of if connected into the local network. So the decision fell onto the only human present. To try and rescue her and risk having the system be taken over, or leave the machine to it's closing demise.

Wolfe looked over the mangled body of this girl and as he took a closer look over the wounds and different damage he started to realize he was seeing things he had never seen before and even though there were similarities with her components and design, it was not like anything he had ever seen before. As he looked her over he noticed she hadn’t said anything and as he thought it over he was starting to notice she hadn’t moved an inch since he had placed her on the table. Was he too late? He was starting to wonder if maybe this was a waste when he looked into her eyes and noticed one of them moving and realized she was still with him in some capacity, but probably just to messed up to interact back. He only hoped she was at least aware that she was safe and that he was trying to help her.

Wolfe was thinking over a million different things in his head when he started to hear the system beeping and starting to go crazy and as he turned his head to look at the screen his concern from the moment before became very true as the system was showing that almost everything about her was coming up as unknown. Wolfe was starting to become concerned on how he was going to fix her if nothing was compatible. He wasn’t even sure how to go about communicating with her and was starting to lose hope when he saw a wire shift out of her. As he looked at the wire he noticed it had a connecter, and realized she was trying to at least some way communicate with him. He grabbed a cord from the table and connected it.

Moments later the system began to get flooded with information. However, most of it was in a language he didn’t know, and the parts he could make out made no sense to him. This was all alien tech and he was realizing this might be out of his capabilities. Wolfe called out to RAINE ”RAINE, try translating at mush of this as you can and run everything she is giving you through every databank you have and compare everything. A few things look like they are being processed, so start with those.” As Wolfe looked over the information something began to concern him a little though. Even though he didn’t recognize much of the stuff on the screen he did recognize a bit of it. During his ordeal with Lexa who was also something like this girl, he had seen some of the same markings and information at the end of their ordeal. He didn’t know much of it, and he didn’t catch a lot when he was Lexa, but he remembered a bit of it. Wolfe decided he would speak more about it when he got this girl up and running later, for now his concern was on fixing her before he lost her. Wolfe did notice that whatever information she held within her was processing with RAINE and her AI and some of it was coming up with some middle ground. If he was lucky he might be able to use some of it to help her while he figured out a long term fix for her.
