Gardens of Eden
Secondary Magic: Eden's Celestium
Caster or Holder: Lost magic ; Caster
Description: Gardens of Eden, a magical dimension that was created by Leila’s past self, Aurora, several thousand years ago. Place that is filled with ivory white trees that bear azure blue leaves, filled with rich fauna and flora. Every single thing in this world has magic imbued inside of it, making them usable both inside and outside of combat. Because of this, humans tried to harness power of this place several times throughout the history. But no one ever managed to fully succeed in control the power that the Gardens provided, showing that this magic might be simply just too much for an ordinary human to wield.
The main thing that this magic provides is nearly absolute control over the nature’s flora, utilizing vines, roots and trees as the core of most attacks. But as the magic controls the entire Gardens, that is not the only thing Leila has under her control. She can summon just about any element that can be found inside of the dimension, utilizing it and shaping it to her own desires. Most common of these elements are wind, earth and water. All of those can be easily used, but there might be few more that can appear on a rare occasion. After all, the entire dimension is at Leila's disposal and she might even find new ways of using it against her enemies, or for her allies.
As the magic itself was given to Leila by a demon before she created the dimension, it’s core is actually extremely dark and evil magic. This fact is mostly masked by the beautiful Gardens and Leila’s good nature, however. This darkness swallowed the goddess in the past, causing her to go down an unsavory path that she came to regret. And in a moment of sorrow when she faced a peril of her best friend, she decided to sacrifice her own being to safe what truly mattered. Through this, the girl sacrificed her godhood, but remained connected to the realm after her revival. So even now that her connection to this magical world is weaker, she is still very much capable of using it however she desires.
Strengths:
- Has a wide area of usage, ranging from healing to direct attacks.
- Summoned trees and roots from the garden posses great physical strength and are capable of crushing even the strongest minerals and defenses.
- Magic excels at both close and medium range combat.
Weaknesses:
- Summoned garden can be easily destroyed with fire-based spells and other attacks, easily countering this magic.
- Garden of Eden is rather ineffective against airborne enemies, as most of the attacks don't reach far into the skies.
- Most spells require a solid ground and cannot be cast if the mage is surrounded by nothing more than liquids or air.
- Supportive spells are not targeted and can affect opponents as well if used near them.
Lineage: Gate of Eden's Goddess
Unique Abilities:
Mother of the Gardens – Leila is no human despite looking like one. She was born from pure magical energy in an empty space that she later remade into the Gardens of Eden. And as a mother that gave birth to this magic, she has a very special bond with it, even after losing her godhood. Thanks to this bond, Leila is constantly absorbing magical energy from the garden itself, allowing her to passively regenerate her MP by 2% per post, as well as lower the cost of her spells by 25%. There is also another benefit to this, as she has perfect control over nature that she can summon to where she is. This does not have any combat effects, but it does allow her to freely grow beautiful flowers and trees, even being capable of transforming a sandy desert into an oasis.
Winds of the Gardens – Previously, Leila was capable of utilizing the wind that blows in the Gardens of Eden and dissolving into it, essentially creating a teleporting ability. While this was useful, she never truly gave it a second thought. But after so many things happened and people she met, she gained a special affection towards wind magic. And her way of showing gratitude to this element is creating a field around her that is always present. In this field, she can freely transform her body and travel to another spot instantly once per post. The range of this field is always the maximal range of her rank.
Wrath of the Gardens – While the dimension appears like a friendly place that welcomes all, it has it's problems with humanity as well. As many different mortals tried to gain control over the Gardens throughout the history of Earthland, the dimension itself gathered hate and wrath in a small portion of the land that is now corrupted by humanity. This accumulated power is gradually released to empower Leila's attacks and as such, gives all of her attacks extra 10% damage. This is increased by another 10% for every rank until it maxes out at 50% at S-rank.
Flower Wings At any point in time, Leila can easily grow long and thin branches from her back, petals, and flowers growing further on them and eventually forming a pair of natural wings. While they appear fragile, they are quite sturdy and will mostly ignore attacks directed at them. When being used, Leila can fly at the same speed as her sprint. This ability is toggle on/off.
- Spells:
- Signature spells:
Name: Free forming
Rank: B
Type: Offensive / defensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: Instant
Description: As the vessel of Eden’s garden herself, Leila is capable of summoning lesser roots and trees without any restrictions. This means she can do anything from transforming her hands into claws to forming a small tree in front of her to block someone’s sword that was headed for her head. It also allows her to combo some of her attacks or to create trees that can move her and her allies through long distances in mere moments, provided she is not in combat.
Effect: Allows Leila to free-form Eden’s wood, creating trees and roots for multitude of purposes. This is mostly done to deal damage appropriate for Leila's rank or to perform any task needed when outside of combat. The summoned nature moves at 112.5 Meters per second and its maximal distance is 150 Meters.
Strengths:- Gains great amount of power outside of combat, allowing Leila to created giant trees or roots that can help her in daily tasks or close distance between places as she rides her growing trees
- Free-form gives Leila great deal of freedom in all situations, even if she cannot form anything more complex
Weaknesses:- While she can created nearly anything with Eden’s wood, she can only form lesser creations with this spell
- When using this spell to transform her own body into a weapon (claws mainly) can put her into bigger risk, as she has to engage the enemy in close range combat
- Attacks with this magic cannot do more than regular spell damage of Leila’s rank, unless buffed
- Summoned Eden’s wood is easily destroyed, meaning Leila cannot create elaborate traps with her free-form
- Greater creations can only be summoned and formed outside of battle
Name: Holy garden: Serene winds
Rank: D
Type: Special effect
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: Once per post
Description: Leila can call the winds from the holy gardens of Eden, letting them aid her in her movements. As the spell activates, Leila’s body transforms into a gust of wind and blue leaves, appearing anywhere in the distance of 15 meters away from where she was, making this spell essentially work as a teleportation.
Effect: Allows Leila to teleport up to 15 meters away from her current location.
Strengths:- The effect takes place instantly, meaning Leila can get out of tight spot with a simple thought of this spell
Weaknesses:- Range on the teleportation is rather limited, only 15 meters
- Range of the teleportation also cannot be extended by any means, even buffs from other, stronger mages
- Leila cannot teleport behind walls or other objects if the terrain behind them is unknown to her
- D-rank:
Name: Spring’s step
Rank: D
Type: Support
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Calling the winds of Holy garden of Eden, several blue petals and leaves start slowly appearing around Leila’s body, disappearing again once they get too far. It is a simple summoning of winds from the garden that boosts Leila’s overall speed both during and outside of combat.
Effect: Increases Leila’s speed by 25% when in combat and by 50% when outside of combat.
Strengths:- Speed boost is fairly large, especially in non-combat situations.
Weaknesses:- Leila cannot apply this boon to anyone else but herself.
- The petals are clear indication of her abnormal state and can even get in the way sometimes.
Name: Eyes of Nature
Rank: D
Type: Support
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Leila is connected to nature and nature is connected to her. Even if it isn't from the Gardens of Eden, the girl can infuse her magic with the environment around her and essentially gain perfect vision in full circle around her.
Effect: Gives Leila ability to see in all directions without having to turn her head at all.
Strengths:- Makes it nearly impossible to perform a surprise attack on the enemy
Weaknesses:- Seeing so much can be quite disorienting to the girl, as her brain is not used to receiving so much information
- This ability affects only Leila herself and not her allies
Name: Corrupted garden: Hidden roots
Rank: D
Type: Trap
Duration: 2 posts
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: Even after corruption, the gardens of Eden are still well guarded. Seals that unleash wrath on all trespassers rest everywhere, making every single step taken a small victory. Leila can summon these traps into the real world as well, allowing for further increase of importance of surprise element. The seal cannot be placed further than 45 meters away from Leila's casting position but will remain still even if she moves away once cast.
Effect: Places an invisible seal on the floor with 45 meters diameter. Once someone steps on it, roots erupt from that very spot, trapping all above for 2 posts.
Strengths:- Can restrain multiple targets in a wide area for fairly long time, giving a lot of chances for attack from Leila’s side
Weaknesses:- Traps cannot be placed directly below enemies. One must run into already placed trap for the spell to work
- Targets above Leila’s rank will be trapped for only 1 post and targets two ranks above her will not be affected at all
Name: One with the nature
Rank: D
Type: Special effect
Duration: 1 posts
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: Having a special body that is partially connected to the gardens of Eden, Leila has rather special relationship with nature. Especially trees and plants are her closest allies and with this spell, she can merge her own body with these parts of nature, allowing herself to travel through solid matter made out of natural resources.
Effect: Allows Leila to walk through obstacles made out of natural resources for a the entire post upon activation.
Strengths:- Allows Leila to move through trees and nature-based obstacles or walls
Weaknesses:- There is absolutely no defensive or offensive benefit to this ability. Meaning that Leila still takes full damage, even while merged with a solid matter
- Leila can only travel through natural matter, not see through it. This means she can easily walk into a trap if she doesn’t know what’s on the other side of the blockade
- C-rank:
Name: Impaling root
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: Creates three strong roots underground that form into one and shoot out under the target as a single sharp column at the speed of 90 Meters per second if they are no further than 120 Meters, intending to impale whatever is above them. The column has a diameter of a single meter and can reach the height of 30 meters. The spike also doesn’t need to shoot out in perfectly horizontal line, as the attack can be angled to a certain degree.
Effect: Summons single spike that deals regular C rank damage and remains on the battlefield.
Strengths:- The column rises from the ground fast, giving little time to react and dodge
- When the attack hits, it sends even the heaviest of foes flying into the air and crashing down onto the ground, interrupting their action and movement for a moment
Weaknesses:- Given the small diameter of the column, it is nearly impossible to hit multiple targets. Unless they are all standing above each other
- The column rises in one given direction and cannot be manipulated once unearthed. That makes this spell less flexible than other root-based attacks
- Once formed, the spike remains in its position until destroyed by other means. Meaning that it can create unnecessary obstacles on the battlefield
Name: Roots
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: Creates several small, yet strong roots underground where Leila is standing. Upon creation, they all start travelling towards any target of her choosing. Once the destination is reached, all of the roots leave the earth to strike the target with crushing force. And in a manner where enemies can easily get entangled in the roots, getting trapped for a short period of time.
Effect: Summons roots that travel to the enemy and cover area up to 90 Meters in diameter wide, traveling at the speed of 67.5 Meters per second and causing regular C rank damage along with possible entrapment if the enemy is one rank lower than this spell. (Or any targer if used on NPCs)
Strengths:- Targets can sometimes get entangled in the roots, having their mobility greatly reduced for a single post
- Large scale of this spell means it can affect large number of enemies at once
Weaknesses:- When travelling underground, the roots slightly deform surface above them, showing their position to the target
- Leila has to touch the ground in order to cast the spell. If she cannot get her hands to the ground, this spell cannot be cast
- While the number of roots is great, they do not reach far. Thus larger targets aren’t as heavily affected as smaller ones
Name: Fruit bomb
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Duration: 2 posts
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: Summons a small plant that bears a round fruit, shining with brilliant blue light. Once summoned, anyone can také the fruit and keep it for two posts before it detonates itself. During those posts, holder can throw this bomb and let it explode on impact, dealing damage to anyone who was caught in the blast.
Effect: Summons an item in the form of a big blue fruit that can be thrown. Upon stronger impact with other solid form, it causes 30 meters wide explosion and deals regular C rank damage to those who were caught in the blast. The fruit automatically explodes in 2 posts if not thrown.
Strengths:- Can affect several targets at once if they are not too far from each other
- Any ally can take the fruit instead of Leila
Weaknesses:- If kept for more than two posts, the fruit will detonate and damage the holder and anyone who was standing close to them at the time
- Fruit detonates on impact, this means that the holder needs to be careful and not trip. If the fruit is hit with a ranged attack, it will detonate as well
- Any opponent can take the fruit instead of Leila
- B-rank:
Name: Corrupted garden: Crushing embrace
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Summons two different trees that have the target as their center. Once set up, the two trees start bending towards one another, eventually wrapping around the target and crushing him with tremendous strength. Thanks to that, the spell causes more damage to weaker targets.
Effect: Summons two trees that proceed to crush anything in between them at the speed of 100 Meters per second if the enemy is no further than 200 Meters away, causing regular B rank damage. However, if the target is at least one rank below Leila, damage is increased by 50%.
Strengths:- Deals higher damage to targets below Leila’s rank.
- Since the summoned trees remain on the battlefield, the affected target might remain imprisoned by the crushing embrace if not strong enough to free themselves. (NPCs only)
Weaknesses:- While the attack can be fairly devastating, it is also slower than most of Leila’s arsenal. That means it’s easier to dodge, especially for speed-based characters.
- The attack is mainly meant for a single target, and thus has difficulties damage more than one enemy.
- Once formed, the two warped trees remain on the battlefield. This could prove unnecessary obstacle in later phase of the battle.
Name: Corrupted garden: Blades of nature
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Duration: 2 posts.
Cooldown: 5 posts
Description: Leila marks one specific enemy with her seal and proceeds to unleash the seal’s power. Once allowed to flourish, the seal will create sharp branch blades in the air, rotating the target at high speed. The target is hit with the full force of the attack, while anything that comes into the range of the blades will be damaged only partially. However, the blades to stay for longer while, making it possible to deal damage more than once.
Effect: Summons tornado of branch blades, dealing regular B rank damage to the main target and 50% of said damage to anyone in 50 meters range per post. Main target is hit only once.
Strengths:- With the wide range, it is possible to hit several targets at once.
- Targets in the 50 meter range receive damage twice if they do not move outside of the branch blades tornado.
Weaknesses:- Leila has to mark one of the enemies for this spell to work. That means a direct physical contact is required.
- It is possible to avoid all branch blades by laying on the ground.
- Branch blades can deal damage to allies if they get into the range.
- The main target receives damage only once, while the other targets in range can be hit twice, once per post.
- If the side targets move out of the way before the second post of duration, they will receive damage only once.
Name: Holy garden: Bow of the fated moon
Rank: B
Type: Offensive buff
Duration: 6 posts
Cooldown: 7 posts
Description: Praying to the ethereal moon that shines upon the gardens of Eden, Leila will receive its blessing and along with it, weapon befitting the one who represents it. This weapon is a majestic, silver bow which is capable of conjuring arrows from thin air. Each shot holds a powerful magic that can mark those who were hit for the empowerment link that lies within those that come from the Gardens of Eden. However, this power also limits the bow’s use to a certain degree.
Effect: Grants Leila temporary weapon that doesn’t add to her attack, however, it applies a mark to targets hit by its arrows. Everyone with this mark will receive 50% more damage for the next two turns from attacks performed by Leila and her summons, this includes allies if a friendly fire ever happens for whatever reason. The range of the bow is 150 Meters and its shots travel at the speed of 100 Meters per second.
Strengths:- Increases damage dealt to those who are hit by this bow’s arrows.
- Arrows themselves are not limited, meaning Leila can conjure as many as she needs.
Weaknesses:- Each target can be hit only once per duration of this spell.
- Leila cannot hit more than two enemies in a single post, if she does, the debuff will not be applied to the third one and beyond.
- While made out of silver, the bow is fairly heavy and hard to use properly.
- It is possible to hit ally with the arrows, applying the debuff to them instead of the enemy.
- Deals higher damage to targets below Leila’s rank.
- The column rises from the ground fast, giving little time to react and dodge
Last edited by Leila Vergious on 28th August 2017, 7:29 am; edited 5 times in total- Speed boost is fairly large, especially in non-combat situations.
- Gains great amount of power outside of combat, allowing Leila to created giant trees or roots that can help her in daily tasks or close distance between places as she rides her growing trees

- When using this spell to transform her own body into a weapon (claws mainly) can put her into bigger risk, as she has to engage the enemy in close range combat
- Attacks with this magic cannot do more that regular spell damage of Leila’s rank, even when buffed
- Defenses with this magic cannot stop more than single spell of the same rank as Leila, even when buffed
- Summoned Eden’s wood is easily destroyed, meaning Leila cannot create elaborate traps with her free-form
- Greater creations can only be summoned and formed outside of battle

Rank: D
Type: Special effect

Description: Leila can call the winds from the holy gardens of Eden, letting them aid her in her movements.

Strengths:- Makes it nearly impossible to perform a surprise attack for the enemy
The seal cannot be placed further than 15 meters away from Leila's casting position, but will remain still even if she moves away once cast.
Effect: Places an invisible seal on the floor with 15 meters diameter.
Description: Creates three strong roots underground that form into one and shoot out under the the target as a single sharp column, intending to impale whatever is above them. The column has a diameter of a single meter and cat reach the height of 30 meters.
- Once formed, the spike remains in it’s position until destroyed by other means. Meaning that it can create unnecessary obstacles on the battlefield
Name: Roots
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description: Creates several small, yet strong roots underground where Leila is standing. Upon creation, they all start travelling towards any target of her choosing. And in a manner where enemies can easily get entangled in the roots, getting trapped for a short period of time.
Effect: Summons roots that travel to enemy and cover area up to 30 meters in diameter wide, causing regular C rank damage and possible entrapment. Specify the speed of these roots, please.

Strengths:- Can affect several targets at once if they are not too far from each other
- Any ally can take the fruit instead of Leila
Weaknesses:- If kept for more than two posts, the fruit will detonate and damage the holder and anyone who was standing close to them at the time
- Fruit detonates on impact, this means that the holder needs to be careful and not trip. If the fruit is hit with a ranged attack, it will detonate as well
- Any opponent can take the fruit instead of Leila
- The column rises from the ground fast, giving little time to react and dodge
- Speed boost is fairly large, especially in non-combat situations.
- Works both as offensive and defensive spell

Strengths:- Has a wide area of usage, ranging from healing to direct attacks.
- Summoned trees and roots from the garden posses great physical strength and are capable of crushing even the strongest minerals and defenses.
- Magic excels at both close and medium range combat.
Weaknesses:- Summoned garden can be easily destroyed with fire-based spells and other attacks, easily countering this magic.
Lineage: N/A
Unique Abilities:
Mother of the Gardens – Leila is no human despite looking like one. She was born from pure magical energy in an empty space that she later remade into the Gardens of Eden. And as mother that gave birth to this magic, she has a very special bond with it, even after loosing her godhood. This does not have any combat effects, but it does allow her to freely grow beautiful flowers and trees, even being capable of transforming sandy desert into an oasis.
Range of this field is always maximal range of her rank.
Flower Wings At any point in time, Leila can easily grow long and thin branches from her back, petals and flowers growing further on them and eventually forming a pair of natural wings. While they appear fragile, they are quite sturdy and will mostly ignore attacks directed at them. When being used, Leila can fly at the the same speed as her sprint. This ability is toggle on/off.- Spells:

Description: Creates three strong roots underground that form into one and shoot out under the the target as a single sharp column, intending to impale whatever is above them. The column has a diameter of a single meter and cat reach the height of 30 meters.
Once the destination is reached, all of the roots leave the earth to strike the target with crushing force. And in a manner where enemies can easily get entangled in the roots, getting trapped for a short period of time.
Effect: Summons roots that travel to enemy and cover area up to 30 meters in diameter wide, traveling at the speed of 10 meters per second and causing regular C rank damage along with possible entrapment
- The column rises from the ground fast, giving little time to react and dodge
Unlocked upon user's request- Speed boost is fairly large, especially in non-combat situations.
