The Star-Crossed Lovers(Open)

Inaris was sitting on the main floor of oak inn, wondering why he was waiting here, of all places. Perhaps it was because it brought back memories of how he met Megalos, his fiance, the love of his life. He had met Megalos not far from here, and they had spent the night here when they had met for the first time. With a huge sigh, the sightless immortal brought the drink to his lips, contemplating what to do. He missed Megalos, and he desired nothing more than to track his love down and never let him go. Every time they said goodbye it hurt, in a way that was both physical and emotional. His heart ached every time the two said goodbye, because he couldn't stand it when they were apart.

Megalos walked through Oak Town absentmindedly. He had just begun to get a handle on his growing powers. Did all immortals have such problems controlling their powers? Well Megalos personally knew another immortal who seemed to have fine control of his powers. Inaris. The name circled his head like an endless dream. Megalos had read mythology about all sorts of gods and their dramatic lives. What he got from that research was the life of immortals could be very dramatic. Gods, what would the two godlings do?!?! "Something on your mind sir," a passing villager asked shaking Megalos from his reverie.

Inaris felt a familiar presence nearby and dropped his drink. His beloved was here? Standing up, he exited the inn, heading towards the familiar presence as fast as he could, though he knocked into several objects, including walls and people, on his way. Finally, he stood before the presence, and called out softly. "Megalos? Is that you?" He called, his voice hopeful and his voice trembling with excitement. Oh, how he longed to hold his lover close again. If it really was Megalos, the blind man would be over the moon in happiness. As it stood, he could barely contain his desire to throw himself at whoever he was standing in front of and kiss them full on the lips.

Megalos felt the man's presence before he saw him and as his lover called to him Mega reached down gently but swiftly enveloping the smaller man into his arms, and with one hand guiding his chin so that the blind man understood was coming as he brought his lips downs greedily onto the others trying to be gentle but clearly passionate and hungry he didn't stop until they were both gasping for air. "My love," Megalos responded finally his deep booming voice tinged with joy and mischief. "Do you get smaller each time I see you? Haha, but it is very good to see...to hold you again." Beautiful red and white roses began to grow throughout his body giving off a sweet scent that mixed with his natural masculine odor. "One second." Megalos summoned his partner prince Fotia and asked him to send images of how he looked and any other image he might ask later to Inaris. It wasn't the same as seeing through your own eyes but Mega hoped his lover didn't mind.

As Megalos swept him into his arms and kissed him passionately, the much smaller man kissed back with just as much hunger, until they were both gasping for breath, lips red and swollen from kissing. Happily, the man giggled at his lover's comment, before pressing his face into Mega's warm chest. Eventually, when the images of Megalos entered his head, he smiled and looked up. "Oh, darling, I've missed you more than anything. I'm so happy to be in your arms again, it really has been too long." He said, green eyes sparkling in a way they never did for anybody else. Being in his lover's arms again was all he wanted, and now that he had what he wanted, he didn't intend to let him go any time soon.

Megalos pulled out his staff telling his phoenix comrade to show Inaris images of what was happening and as he took out the staff he willed it into dragonite winds that melded to his back. "Lets go for a ride through the air," Megalos said showing off the wings with a flap making sure his phoenix comrade sent everything to the godling. He launched into the air still snugly carrying Inaris without breaking a sweat and with a stray thought to Prince Fotia he had the Phoenix send occasional glimpses of the sky and far away landscape as well as sharing his feelings of exhilaration mixed with the sense of awe and romance the golden horizon set in him.


"So i was thinking we should build a castle or something on a more...celestial plane. I never asked to become a god honestly but if it means spending an eternity with you it's definitely worth it! So might as well make the most of it. Speaking of which it's been a while since I've seen your more mature form...but fair is fair so I'll show you mine first." Megalos shifted mid-air and Prince Fotia sent an image of the change. Megalos became thinner yet still very muscular and his face became a lot more mature and critical. His stormy emerald green eye's became a light jade and his entire presence became more mature and noticeably more powerful. The man seemed to almost become someone new but deep in his eyes flashed the generous and mischievous energy of Megalos and deep though completely different it was easy to tell the foreign presence was just a different shade of Megalos's own.

The man shrieked with exhilaration, his heart racing, as he was flown into the air with his lover, but calmed when he could see what was happening. At his lover's eventual words, he smiled fondly, the very idea of eternity with Megalos was almost too perfect. "I would love that, Megalos. A castle for the two of us, a place where we could spend our eternity together, sounds perfect. As for my more mature form... Surely you can wait until we are on the ground again?" He said, teasing in his voice for the last sentence. The immortal chuckled, delighting in everything about this moment. When Megalos changed, his heart nearly stopped at the sight, and he almost forgot how to breathe. "Oh, love, you make my heart stop every time I "see" you..."

Megalos smiled looking unbelievably sexy in his current more godly form before returnng to his normal form. After another second he found what he was looking for. A huge cloud  floating lazily in the sky. With a flutter of his hand and a flash of magic the cloud solidified but retained it's soft and fluffy features bringing a more literal meaning to the term walking on clouds and as Megalos landed and finally placed Inaris down he stopped a second to allow them to enjoy the impossibly soft, squishy, fluffiness of the cloud.

Then he turned and with a few more hand gesture and words of power he created a rainbow over the cloud, summoned a flock of doves to fly near the rainbow, Shaped a comfy lounge chair under neath Inaris and grabbed his wings and changed them into a guitar that he begun playing. "I've been thinking about you so much. I made this song for you. Trust me I thought of YOU when making it. It fits." And whit that Megalos began singing his deep baritone voice sliding softly through the air as images of all the time they'd spent together so far began coming to life in the mist between the rainbow as if the rainbow was a window to the past showing their exploits; the good, the bad, and the hilarious and the whole time Megalos was singing his heart out in an enchanting voice that could melt butter.

Inaris couldn't even respond as Megalos began a series of activity, all rather cheesy, but at the same time, so beautiful and so utterly MEGALOS that he laughed, a light, pure sound, full of happiness. But he quieted down the moment Mega began to sing. He listened to the entire song, a smile crossing his features as his listened to the man he loved. "This song is perfect, Megalos.... you're perfect. I don't ever want to be without you." He said, eyes lit up with a sparkle just for Megalos.

"You took the words from my mouth my love," Megalos laughed wrapping the man back in his arms. "So why don't you tell me what you've been through since we last met?" Megalos shaped the clouds around the into a little fort and a blanket with a rainbow coloured fire poofing into existence right before them. Prince Fotia was still sending images to Ina's mind every once in a while so he could enjoy the surroundings. "I want to hear everything my ears are wide open."

"I've mostly been missing you. It was awful being apart from you, I spent most the time thinking about you, or the ancestor of mine I met shortly before meeting you, she's vanished. I don't think she liked me much, though, despite me being her great-great-great-great nephew." He said, snuggling against his lover. "Tora, my tiger spirit, kept me company often. Him and Pegasus. The two are the ones I rely on the most of all my spirits, so we are fairly close friends." He added, smiling gently. Both spirits were indeed good friends to Him, and had spent much time consoling the man when he was desperate to see his lover again. With a satisfied sigh, he pressed his lips to his lover's, once, before snuggling up to him once more.

Megalos Kissed the little Immortal back happily.

"Well I recently met my old mentor who was like a father to me even though he's been deead for eons, I got crowned as the fledgling God of nature and the "First True King of Nature" whatever that means! I participated in a tournament that ended up having a surprise demon or two thrown in the mix. I developed a new inheritance boost to my powers that's been kicking my but and I've only just learned to control it, and I've been thinking everyday of my visionally appeared, supercute, moody, and mysterious immortal fiancee, "I just learned that word by the way cool huh?", who seems to have a knack for disapearing on me. All in Alll. Pretty uneventful compared to your story." Megalos smilled a shit eating grin that Prince Fotia sent to the blind immortal telepathically and looked down at Ina with half hooded eyes alive with laughter and playfulness.

Inaris laughed aloud, a gentle laugh that only appeared around Megalos, eyes sparkling and dancing with happiness. "I was also thinking of other things... about our forever, about how we can be together literally forever, us getting married, maybe having children of our own one day... in short, a lot of daydreaming was done about my life with you, love." He said, more serious now, but still quite happy and gentle. "It is very possible for us to have children, despite being male... we do live in a world of magic, after all, my love. Who knows? Perhaps we will some day. But for now, all I want is you."

Megálos smiled warmly down at the dwarfish man, then laughed cheerily before replying. "Yes and I want you two my love...." At Megálos's order his Phoenix partner sent an image of Megálos wagging his eye's suggestively. "....however we do need to make more friends my love. I would like to have others to brag too about you while you listen on shyly, and it's better for us to have comrades to trust. Especially ones to invite to the wedding once we finally decide when to have it." Megálos yawned and snuggled the man in closser as the phoenix prince sent an image to Inaris of Megálos's head nodding up and down as sleep seemed to call to him.

"If you are going to sleep, we should go back to the ground. The inn I was in before you came, I had a room rented out, we ca go sleep in a real bed." Said Inaris, cuddling up to his much-larger lover. "As for making friends, I don't know who's want to be friends with a crazy ex serial killer/current assassin like me, but we can certainly try, it's not like we can't try, right?" He asked, before burying his face in Mega's chest, a bit sleepy himself.

"Come." With only that spoken he continued to carry the man bridal style and flew off the cloud to the Inn that awaited them. Once there soundlessly he took them to their reserved room and he sent away the Phoenix Prince. There would be no need for sight for what happens next. The only thing they needed was touch and taste. Megálos ensured that they both got more then enough of both and they enjoyed each other's company that way for much of the remainder of the night.
