"You know, I'm never to one to judge but I can't help but feel that I've been missing out on a lot of stuff lately..." A young girl spoke to no one, simply voicing her thoughts out loud for anyone to hear. Her name is Margaret Elle, she used to be a mage for Pharoah's Call until it got disbanded for some reason. She couldn't quite recall why, maybe she was just bad at details or maybe she just received the news while she was busy, who could tell? For now she was a guildless mage once more, going where the wind blew, drifting from place to place with a good sum of money to her name. "I am a simple woman," She began mumbling incoherently to herself. "I see the call to adventure I answer with no hesitation, sure the ship almost sinking might've been my fault but then how was I supposed to know that ships could burn in the ocean while in the middle of the storm." She huffed and crossed her arms. "At least they kicked me out at the port instead of throwing me overboard. Thank magic for small mercies I guess but they didn't let me get my stuff." She thanked and complained.
It had taken hours before an exhausted, thirsty, and hungry Margaret arrived at Rose Garden, currently the last stop of her impulsive wanderings. She had taken to using her scythe as a cane, her tired legs taking a few more steps before stumbling into an inn. 'Silver Rose Inn huh? Seems nice...wait, isn't this the place of those Ebony Orchids or something?' She tiredly thought as she shambled through the doors, picked a secluded table away from the center, and collapsed onto a seat, breathing a long sigh of relief as her body finally managed to rest. "Aaaaah...That is muuuuch better."
'Maybe I should join a guild as a form of break? I am getting a bit tired of going from place to place non stop.' She thought. It would be nice to have a more permanent place to stay in and a more stable source of income other than agreeing to odd jobs here and there and sleeping in the strangest of places. She wasn't sure she could take another session of 'Sleeping Outdoors In The Rain' without getting seriously sick.
Hey, she was adventurous, not reckless.
'No.' She thought with a sudden rush of determination flowing through her. 'I am not doing another Sleeping Outdoors In The Rain if I can help it.' She decided, making up her mind. 'I'm gonna join a guild again!' Her stomach growled. 'After eating.'
