She'd been alone for a while at this point, all those jobs she had at one time been going on fell into the realm of unnecessary when she found this place, a location with enough fish to feed her that closely matched where she grew up on snowfall island. Itova had not spoken to or seen anything humanoid in several full passing's of the moon and she lost track of time once more, returning back to her native roots as a dragon with ease when she didn't need to double task as a mage to provide for herself. In the silence of this land, she was at ease, appreciated the lack of human contact, the ability to think without dozens of other creatures chattering near her. The best part atop all of it, the cake topper to the freedom finding the silent glaciers gave to her?! Was the open sky.
In an area so isolated and distant from civilization, too cold for the birds to roost, nothing stayed long besides her, even other of her own kind would stay away as they were adjusted to being one with ice as she was. For once? Her magic was a blessing, it gave her the clear sky back, nothing and no one in her way as she soared over and around the glaciers with her massive wing span, only her food to be found when she swam deep within the waves, entirely nothing to stop her from swimming within the snow and ice. Today she was taking full advantage of the paradise she had found again, her wings fully extended, riding the currents instead of flapping her wings, allowing her silent delighted passage as snow fell in her wake.
"Huh?" As she soared the raptor like dragon noticed a small blob of blue with her raptor like vision. What was a fish doing that far inland? After a circle around to look better with more detail, she realized the blob was made out of hair or fur instead of scales or skin, something mammalian or human. Against her better judgement, the dragon folded her wings slightly, banking downwards taking herself only yards above the ground so she could circle the creature one more time. "A human boy?" it was confusing, she hadn't seen any humans out here, she hadn't seen anyone for so long, suddenly seeing someone left questions.
Wings slowing her descendant and kicking up a small bit of the freshly falling snow, she landed her sharp sickle claw tapping the ground once with the movement. As she tread across the snow? Itova glanced around, wondering if this was some sort of trap, but indeed the boy was alone, and from the new close distance, he appeared as if he may be injured. "Are you conscious? He's breathing so he's still alive." she was now standing right in front of him, six feet tall with that long sickle claw and those sharp teeth, likely near nothing he had ever gotten to see in person before considering how young he appeared to be. He was alone. She was alone. He was going to die without help, at least in her mind, and even if she hated humans, she was far from heartless.
Doing this went against everything that had kept her alive since she left her island, but no matter how much she despised humans for throwing around dragon slaying magic like a blessing when it was a curse for her kind? She could not just leave a child to die, especially not one all alone like this, like her. Of course, her pride said he was never getting on her back, so she couldn't toss him there to take him back to her cave. Eventually she came up with a plan that would keep him off her back, but accomplish the goal of transporting him. Nearby, the snow rose up, forming a clone of her within seconds, the copy striding over. She'd use her clones back! "Can you get up? I have to get you on her back so I can take you somewhere safer." she tried nudging the boy to his feet, prefering to not freak him out by stabbing her sharp teeth through his shirt.
