Job Location: Hohenhymn village (Post in the Village sub forum)
Job Description: Chili has been on the trail of a cult following guild that has been massing genocidal rampages on small villages through out Fiore for the last couple years. The attacks started ten years ago, being small at first, but they have now grown into small sleeper cells through out Fiore who attack at different times and locations to make it seem like random attacks. However pin pointing that each cell has a certain yet slightly different pattern all on it's own Chili has predicted the next small town to be hit is Hohenhymn village. A small village at the base of a mountain known for its soft enchanting melodies, musical festivals, and art. It consists of a few small merchant hub, a hospital, a library, a few small cafes and a local diner, homes, a chapel, a gallery, a few inns and a pud. Chili sent a letter to his guild asking they send any wizards willing to help, though to only send a few since this may just be a wild goose chase. Once everyone has arrived someone will notice a dense fog moving in from the west to the right of the village. Either you can warn the villagers and recommend they take shelter or prepare for the oncoming wave and leave the peasants to fend for themselves. (If saving them you will need to find a good location for them to hide, that's dependable, and reinforce it. Once that is done you can just remain idle while you wait for the fog while the villagers hide, they will be hard to convince since they are supposed to be holding a festival. If you choose to let them die then you can reinforce an area for yourselves which would take fewer posts but you would have more posts open for idleness. It takes at least 6 posts for the fog to arrive once spotted. Upon the fog consuming the village all hell begins to break loose as whispering and ghostly sounds start echoing through out the mist. You hear voices whisper secrets that only you should know. The whispers stop and soon are followed by dark figures that come riding in the fog. As a few of the figures get close enough you can see they are humanoid mutant looking creatures in blood red and purple cloaks embroidered with gold lining. As random hostiles begin charging up on their weird steads, hopping off and letting their rides run back off into the fog. You soon find out underneath the robes are three different type of human like monsters.

Enemies:
Weak: X7
- Spoiler:
- These ones have the head of an angler fish, eyes dead white, complete with the teeth which they will try and bite you with. If they do the bite does C rank damage while causing bleeding of 20% health for 3 posts. They have a normal human arm and hand except for the index finger which is a slightly large tentacle. While the other arm is a crap like an appendage with a deadly sharp pincer that can cut through weaker metals and most wooden objects if hit it does base C rank damage. They can harden their pincer into a metal form, only their pincer though which increases the damage by 10 hp for 3 posts. Their torso is scaly yet some parts are shell like unsure whether its human, fish, or crustacean but its tough giving them 20% resistance to any attack. They can spit a weird combination of bubbling water and electricity every 4 posts which will scald you while also electrocuting the heck out of you, if hit it does 1.5XC-rank magic damage. While also spitting a weird acidic gunk that blinds for 1 post and chemically burns the person hit for C rank damage over 2 posts. They take 8 hits of C rank damage to bring down. They can use the tentacle index finger to grab ahold of limbs at an extra meter compared to a normal person.
Normal: X4
- Spoiler:
- These people or whatever they used to be are totally different from their weaker comrades. They are covered in thick grayish fur with a thick black patch at the mid of their upper backs in the shape of a diamond. They have the heads of decaying stags complete with carnivorously powerful jaws that can easily snap through bone with sharp canine teeth. Their eyes are a glowing yellowish orange. Their claws are as long as lions' and will tear flesh apart with ease doing. They swiftly move about on two goat like legs and feet. Being able to jump and dodge with ease. The creatures appear to use martial arts as well as some fire, wind, and metal magic. Ranging from razor sharp wind blasts which do B-rank magic damage, breathing fire which does C ranked magic damage, coating their limbs in metal to boost damage by 40% of the attack's damage for 3 posts, and their special is a giant wind/fire magic attack they can use every 5 posts which are a giant funnel of flames and wind that they conjure before sending it flying at you. The fire causes B rank magic damage while the scorching temperature of the wind adds an additional 2xC rank damage if hit. Their touch alone seems to set things aflame, normal hits will burn you causing you to lose 30% health per post for 2 posts. They take 15 hits of C-rank damage to kill.
Strong: X4
- Spoiler:
- RADIOACTIVE SPIDER PEOPLE....YEAHHH!!! Not a race of super heroes folks so be careful but rather a race of 8-foot tall radiation spewing spider human mutant. They have 4 sharp bamboo thick spider legs emerging from their backs. Two going diagonally down from their lower backs and two coming diagonally up from their upper back. They use the two lower legs to spring forwards to attack or avoid an attack. The top ones are usually used for piercing attacks, if struck they do B ranked damage. They spit radioactive sludge balls that will cause C Ranked damage. They are slightly more intelligent than their comrades, being able to use a form of poison and nature magic. They can create a field of radioactive poisonous gas within a 40-meter radius of themselves every 8 posts that takes 4 posts to clear, anyone caught in the cloud is damaged for 1 and a half C rank damage until out of the cloud. If they get in close they will bite you and drain you of your blood, this will take 30 hp from you and give it to them. They use nature magic to spawn a barrage of giant bomb seeds every 6 posts. These things explosions cause B ranked magic damage, and if your hit by any of the wooden shards of the seeds you are cursed to slowly and painfully be turned into a living wooden version of yourself, well not exactly what happens is that where ever you are hit is where the infection begins and it spreads every post for 5 posts turning you mostly into wood before disappearing. While it spreads every post you take C ranked damage at post 3 of infection it will make you 40% slower (Since you are starting to become a puppet that can move) and you take 25% more damage from fire attacks. They spawn a magical circle and from it erupts a fury of sharp vines that will seek you out like a swarm, either stabbing you for B ranked magic damage or wrapping themselves around you, holding you in place for 2 posts. Finally, their special attack is a barrage of smoke seed bombs blinding you, followed by a hard hit from an acidic poison bubble. Trapping you within the bubble for 1 post while you take B ranked magic damage. They take 15 hits of B ranked damage to beat.
Boss:
- Meztar: The Tentacle Mass
- Spoiler:
- This unknown entity resides under a dirty golden cloak with the only semblance of anything beneath it are the seemingly unlimited amount of tentacles coming from underneath the robe in place of feet and four pairs of hands, seeming to be a sickly gray color with puss filled boils on it's arms, no face or another features. It uses some metal, psychic, and lightning magic. It reinforces its tentacles with steel making them sharp and agile as they come at you, if stabbed you take A ranked damage per tentacle hit. He creates a spear and charges it full of lighting before sending it at you, if struck you will be pinned for a post for a post while taking C ranked damage from the spear and B ranked magic damage from the electricity. It can call down a lightning strike that will do A ranked magic damage and if they do it to you while pinned with a spear lightning rod you will take an additional D magic damage. Throws hopping electric grenades that follow you for a post before exploding and doing B ranked magic damage. Can take a post to charge up and then create a large lightning spear that it will then launch at you with incredible speed at you that will do A ranked magic damage if hit they can do this every 3 posts. They will need to take a post before they can use lightning magic again after this attack. The tentacles will try and hit you if slugged by them you will take B ranked if normal and A ranked if metallic. It will lift you and slam you into the ground with its mind, and if it gets in close and touches you with a hand it will mind meld you. Either disorientating you with memories that it has stolen from others, was given, or from you past. Or put you to sleep for 2 posts, sending you into a nightmare realm for the span of the 2. (You get to make up the nightmare). It has 400 hp and it takes one hit of C ranked magic damage to dismember a tentacle, however, they grow back in 3 posts.
- Faugnar Haugn: The Bloody Elephant
- Spoiler:
- An elephant man that stands at 12 feet tall and weighs 450 lbs. This elephant is somehow super fast which comes in handy for it when it trys to charge you causing 1.5XB Ranked damage while also knocking you back and running you over in some cases. This one relies on brute strength more than magic and will use kick, punches, and weaponry to savagely do multiple hits of B ranked damage. He uses Requip magic swapping between different red crystal weapons, swords, maces, spears, axes, clubs, and more. All weapons can block up to B ranked magic damage before being destroyed while doing an additional B ranked damage on top of the regular attack damage if hit by a weapon. Kicks and punches just do B ranked damage. Its trunk has a leeching mouth in it that will attach to you and suck away 60 hp from you giving him 40 hp back as well as increasing his strength causing him to do 30% more damage. He can use fire magic to a small amount may it be. He can spew a large wave of it from his truck every 2 posts that does B ranked magic damage while burning you for two posts losing 20% health per post. He will set himself on fire and come charging at you he will do normal charge damage combined with B ranked magic damage if hit. He has 450 health that needs to be depleted to kill.
- (Bonus Boss) Arkpholos: The Terror in the Mist
- Spoiler:
- When this demon appears he makes it personal, freezing all other enemies in place so it's just you and him. He appears as part of the fog but his 2 physical appearances are a cluster of eyes which are floating black orbs that seem to expand and multiply into other eyes. He uses psychic magic as well as lightning. He casts an area effect spell that seems to memorize you as you stare into his form. You are pulled into the memories he shows in his reflecting orbs, immersing you vividly in the memory. For Chili, he sees his past as well as other images that are of a specific person's life, though he knows not of who's life he saw. For anyone who joins they see their past and fictional nightmare possibilities of the future. You are paralyzed for 4 posts while Arkpholos is also unable to move he drains you by 20 hp every post. You can fight out of his hold if you are strong of will and pull your self from the memories. He generates electricity and sends a small processionary bolt of lightning along the small water molecules in the mist and sends it through a targeted part of the body. (Precise bolt of lightning through the heart, spine, lung, joint to make a limp useless for a post, and other areas of the body.) If hit you take B ranked magic damage. A rank if it hits the heart. Will crunch a limb with its psychic pressure attack that it can use once every 4 posts, it renders the limb useless for 2 posts and does 1.5XB ranked magic damage if hit. Massive electric discharge into the misty air which travels along it in a massive wave causing B ranked magic damage can be used every 5 posts. Will use a psychic attack to invert the world and make everything appear upside down for 5 posts. His second appearance is a large horned imp like a white demon that will use mind tricks to make 5 clones of himself, each one being able to use different lightning attacks. He will disappear into the mist and darken the whole area with his natural ability to control fog as a mist demon. If alone he will attack you with phantoms that will resemble enemies. If with a friend he will make both of them appear as a personal enemy to one another as another attack while in fog form. He can stay in this form for 7 posts and once out he can't go back into it for 8 posts. He has 500 health. He can not be killed since he will just turn into fog and run once he is close to death.
Reward: 18,000 jewels and 1 B rank exp and a C ranked spell slot if you beat the bonus boss.
