Oh Fudge! [Solo/Job]

Ah Peace Village, the most peaceful village on earth... At least that's what people thought. This was up until a certain man by the name of Ahmose Shamoon walked into town on his way out of Desierto. Although he was dressed in Egyptian-like attire he managed to pretty much stay out of the line of attention as he made his way through town. He had a serious and malicious look in his eye as he walked, thinking about the pact he had made to join the ranks of Grim Heresy. Although he was unsure of what that meant right now, he felt different than he did before, he felt like he could do anything.

As soon as he made it into the Village square he was stopped by a man who was wearing a Chef's attire. Ahmose looked him up and down before opening his mouth "Speak now or leave me be." he put it simply as he glared at the chef hard enough to make the man shake in his boots. After a couple seconds the man spoke shakily "I uh... I am sorry sir but I have a request for you. I have been watching you since you entered town and well, I don't mean to judge you but you look like the right man for the job." the chef sputtered out his words quickly, almost as if he would die if he didn't get his point across.

Ahmose scowled at the man "You gonna pay me old man?" his scowl turned into an evil smirk as the man nodded "O- Of course sir. The job in question is the steal a fudge recipe from a rival of mine while he is away. While I would do it myself, I am not in the right state to do it as I am weak." the man spoke with more confidence this time around. Ahmose nodded and closed his eyes, thinking about his decision. "Alright fine but not a word of this to anybody or you will die." he glared at the chef again before walking off.

Ahmose watched as the chef left on his own way Once he was gone he started planning on how he would get the job done.

Before doing anything, Ahmose realized that it was still to early in the day to turn in and that there was potential work that he could do in order to get the fudge. The rival left that night so this would be the perfect opportunity to see him make the fudge and see where he hid his recipe before going in and taking the loot for the chef. Ahmose would sneak through the town quietly to make sure that no one else saw him or bugged him about another task.

Eventually, not even five minuets later, the dark haired mage arrived at the rivals house and hid below a window. The house wasn't very big to begin with but Ahmose didn't really expect much from this town anyway. The small house made it easier for him to get in and get out quickly before being caught by any villagers or the rival himself.

Ahmose would carefully latch both his hands onto the windowsill and carefully pulled himself up to the point where just his head was showing, peeking through the glass into the other side. Luckily, the window was connected to the kitchen area and he got a peek of the man cooking the fudge "Should have known that if something was worth stealing then the person would be making the recipe all the time." he snickered as his eyes caught the rival open up a draw, grab a card, kiss it, and put it back. This made Ahmose shake his head and snicker "What a weird guy..." he muttered as he rolled away from the window and stood back up on his feet.

Now that he knew where the fudge was, all the was left was to steal it from the rivals house while he was away and return it to the chef before the end of the week. Ahmose would return to an inn that night and spend the only money he had on a room for the week. Ahmose went to his room that night thinking how easy this job would be... he could never have been so wrong about something in his life.

The next night, Ahmose left the inn and decided now would be the right time to go in and grab the recipe so he could get the job done early with a lot of time to spare. The mage would sneak through the town stealthily as to avoid waking anyone that he would possibly have to fight in order to beat.

Once he eventually did get to the house he went straight to the window and tried to pull it open. When the window didn't budge he pulled harder and realized that the window was in fact locked. After thinking about it for a second he beat himself up about it "Of course someone would lock their window when they are away!" he growled to himself, realizing this job wouldn't be as easy as he had previously thought.

He circled around the small house a few times, looking for another way in, soon spotting a chimney at the top of the house. He looked at his hands, which were not suitable for climbing, and sighed "The things that I do for money..." he placed his hand on his forehead and shook his head slightly. He then would crack his knuckles, stretch out his fingers, and prepared to scale the house.

Ahmose gripped onto the window sill and pulled himself upward, hoisting himself onto the house. He then grabbed a hold of the roof and pulled himself up. He stood on the roof for a second, overlooking the village. Everyone was asleep and no one had seen him so he was okay to continue on with the mission at hand: Stealing the Fudge recipe.

He ran across the roof top and jumped into the chimney with ease, making a thud as he fell to the ground. The dust from the chimney flew upwards and out the top, covering his face with ash and dust. Coughing, the young mage stood up waving the dust out of his way. When he stood up he realized that he was finally in the house and not only that but he was in the kitchen as well. He smiled and shrugged it off "Easy." he smirked to himself as he opened up the drawer he saw the rival put the recipe into and held it in his hand for a second smiling "Got ya.". He headed to the door, clutched the handle and pulled, it was locked. He figured opening up the door would set off an alarm so he didn't bother and decided to head out the way he came in, the chimney.

Getting down the chimney was a lot easier than going up and Ahmose soon realized this as he found himself shimmying up the chimney, his legs on both sides of the wall. This took him about five minuets and if he fell, the way his body was positioned, he would break his leg or worse. He finally did make it out though and wasted no time in jumping off the roof and running back to the inn where he collapsed on the bed with a big sigh.

The next day Ahmose woke up bright and early in order to give the recipe to the chef without the rival finding out who did it. He exited the inn and stretched, closing one eye as he looked to the sky "Time to get out of this town. Not enough action here." he shook his head and sighed as he headed for the meeting place, which just so happened to be the chefs house.

When he got there he found the chef waiting for him with a big smile "Oooo you actually went through with it!" he exclaimed as he grabbed Ahmose's hand "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" he said, shaking the hand rapidly. Ahmose pulled the hand away with a snap "Here's you're recipe, send the money by bird please, preferably a hawk, other birds weird me out..." he turned to walk away before glancing back "I don't know how you're going to hide the fact you did it but I will come for you if you mention me anywhere in the story you tell." the pharaoh growled as he walked off.

His next destination would be Clover Town. He would do anything for money at this point.
