Chili had been passing through Terra Ignis in hopes of finding clues in the library of recent attacks on near by villages when he had come across a job board. Taking a glance to see if there was anything quick he could do before continuing his search. One of the jobs caught his attention. Someone named Guy Stratus was digging up some old tomb and he needed help to pass the ancient traps that were apparently still active. Having never explored an ancient resting place of some long forgotten king, Chili was more than ecstatic about doing this job. Taking off for the out skirts of Terra Ignis, even with all the mountains surrounding him, Chili had seen some landmarks that would help lead him back to where he had seen the ruins. Chili was thinking to himself about the events that took place a week before hand at Talonia, wondering what his friend may be up to now, Chili pondered on that for a second before his mind returned to the original reason he had been in Terra Ignis, to begin with. "I hope the library has some of the records I'm looking for, the last three had nothing. It was almost like the previous libraries all had their records of anything involving that group removed. " Chili commented aloud as he continued his trek through the woods toward the cliffs.
Having made it, Chili paused and waited for about five minutes. "Well I found the ruins, so where the hell is the dude who put out the job request." Chili pondered aloud to himself as he looked up at the giant cliff the ruins were apart of. They weren't much to see since most of the ruins ran into the cliff, not visible on the surface. "Maybe I'm on the wrong side of the ruins, the entrance could be somewhere completely different or I'm on the wrong ruins" Chili wondered as he kept talking aloud. "You must be a wizard who saw my job request." A happy sounding voice called out from behind Chili. Turning around he came to see the voice belonged to a man, who appeared to be in his late twenties. He had black colored hair and was wearing a simple button up colored shirt with brown pants. Chili was gonna say something about how the guy looked unprepared although taking into consideration that he was wearing a similar get up to this guy he decided to keep his mouth shut. Chili opted to say this instead, "So you're the archaeologist? Guy? huh, I was expecting someone shorter, well anyway it's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Chili." Offering his right hand for a shake, Guy paused for a second before grabbing a hold of it. Shaking Chili's hand a few times, a big grin on his face as he said. "It's a nice to meet you too, Chili."
"Now follow me, I'll lead you to the entrance and then with your help we may be able to go deeper into the tomb." Guy continued as he stopped shaking Chili's hand, turning towards the ruins and began leading the way. Chili raised an eye brow and remained stationary for a couple seconds before following. Not really sure what he was about to get himself into, however, he knew it would be interesting, to say the least. So, quietly following Guy down a small path that led closer to the cliffs, Chili started to get a little excited while thinking "Sweet! I'm gonna grave rob some ancient dude's tomb! Wow, that sounded really bad saying it like that. Maybe that's why archeologist say excavate instead of grave rob. Huh, I'm not gonna ask."
“Here's the entrance,” Guy said sounding like a tour guide after he had led them closer to the cliffs side, where there was a big stone door about a meter taller than Chili, in the side with weird carvings on it. Not saying much more Guy started to push against the door. It barely budged, seeing this Chili walked over and started to help. It opened slowly but they still managed to open it wide enough for them the walk through. As they got farther from the door the light disappeared. Chili heard a match strike up as Guy lit a torch. Not wanting to be the only one with out a light source, Chili did the hand symbols required to enter Hellfire mode. The normal dull flame above his head now red, hot, and bright. Now with light, they could see that they were in a small room with three pillars on each side. The room led to a smaller one man corridor, Guy taking the lead down it with Chili behind him. The hall led to a rather large room with, stopping Chili as he came out Guy pointed to the floor and said, “ See all the colored tiles?” Chili looked done, besides the side, they were on with normal tiles and the other side, the whole middle of the room was covered in yellow, blue, green, and red. Picking up a rock, Guy chucked it onto one of the blue tiles. The rock floated into the air and then exploded into dust. “From what I have determined all tiles except the yellow ones are safe,” Guy stated matter of factually. “Huh there are barely any yellows on the floor, getting across that way seems like a fool's errand.” Chili commented back. “Well if you have a safer way across, I'll wait here while you somehow deactivate this trap,” Guy brightly replied. Snapping his fingers as an idea brewed, Chili let a wide grin across his face and said, “Ya know I may just have something up my sleeve for this.” Charging power into his hands, Chili took a few steps back down the corridor they had come from and yelled as he began to run forward, “You may want to take a few steps to the side!”
