Lucius was mostly taught by the spirit he sometimes called upon to teach Lucius about magic. He was taught his gravity magic by this very spirit, Lucius didn't have a good upbringing and didn't stay at his home very long in his young age and pretty much left, Lucius would've died off on his own if the spirit didn't suddenly come at one point and started to help teach Lucius about the world. Despite the years of training and knowledge he's learned by the spirit, he stopped at one point and told Lucius to learn his own way, to develop his own style and adaption of gravity magic.

After that, he decided to seek out a guild. He wanted knowledge to further enhance his spells and learn more in his style of magic. The guild that caught his eye was Lamia Scale, supposedly a guild that welcomes all that are in the same quest for knowledge which appealed to Lucius. Or something like that, Lucius just knows this guild respects knowledge and that's what Lucius was after. He was already walking to the location of where the guild hall is. He however came across a smaller building that is connected to the larger building which he assumes is the guild hall.

He enters this secondary building to see a great number of things, mages, a couple of rune knights. A couple of citizens as well, it seemed to be a multi-purpose type of building. Quite frankly, Lucius was lost. He thought had the building planned out but after entering this building, he's completely lost. He walks around a bit to try and figure it out and he received a bit of attention from some people, probably because of how he looks. He scratches his hair saying "Damn... where do I sign up?"

To say it had been a while since Elaine had gone to Lamia Scale would be an understatement. She could never find herself to return after the disappearance of her partner and their daughter, Desi. It brought back too many memories, all good and she didn't want to ruin them by returning with none of them by her side. She walked up to the guild hall, it hadn't changed in the time she had left; she wondered if new members had come and gone.

With a half hearted sigh, she looked around the outside, few people were bustling, passing, taking photos of the famed guild. She threw them a smile and even requiped for them. Losing her bold spiked casual armour for something more appropriate, a pair of shorts, boots and a white blouse. People around her looked with stars in their eyes as she entered the guild hall. It really hadn't changed at all, some redecorating here and there, mostly people she knew from the time she was with Az. Though one face caught he attention.

A young man, wandering, looking lost. With dark hair and different coloured eyes; she heard him mumble something under his breath about not knowing how to sign up. She chuckled, obviously this Mage hadn't been in this type of world for too long. She knew all about guilds when she arrived here, but sometimes it was not so easy to know what to do, and she accepted that. She strode over to the newbie, her heels clicking against the floor with her approach, she was quite short so she reached to his shoulder, tapping it lightly. "pardon me, I couldn't help but notice, you seem a bit misplaced? Can I help you out at all?"

Lucius was surprised at what the guild had shown so far, he'd already seen quite an impressive amount of mages even in this secondary building, with some of them showing off their magic to people who appeared to be fans. While support and fame was cool, it isn't what Lucius was after. It was a hunt on to finding out more about his style of magic, and whether or not anyone has used it before. He wanted to find new ways to basically become stronger, and for unique types of magic he hasn't heard about before.

But enough wondering about that, Lucius's thoughts were put to a halt as a short woman tapped Lucius's shoulder to get his attention, it appeared she knew the case as to what he wanted, to join the guild. She looked like a mage herself and it seems that she might be a member of Lamia Scale. He answered politely saying "Yes Ma'am, I'm guessing you're a mage of Lamia Scale? I'm interested in joining." he said straightforward, to Lucius's opinion, she didn't look that strong but to be fair, he wasn't either. He especially received a hard lesson once in the past from judging someone's power just based on appearance.

"Also... what is Lamia Scale like? friendly? large? short? quiet? loud? basically, what's your description of Lamia Scale in a nutshell?" he said, he was just curious on the mood and how the guild operated.

Just as the man had inquired about the nature of the guild, a massive explosion shook the multi-purpose center with a small figure shooting out from a door and flying across the room. While normally smoke was associated with explosions, this one contained white particles and residual energy. The energy would feel unlike any magic in the known world. It would feel warm, but not hot. The weight was immense, but no one would feel stress from it. Those who felt a particle hit them would feel nothing but the purest of love radiating from the single droplet; a feeling that quickly faded away as the particle did.

On the other side of the room was a girl wearing a strange outfit. A crimson mini skirt with a pink, floral sash around her waist. Her under garment match the sash, and had a blue one over top it, with a white shirt over-top that. She wore a heavy mask that concealed her face entirely and was in the shape of a cat with two small slits for eyes. She had managed to avoid hitting anyone on the way to the other wall, but it only meant that she would take the full force of the impact instead of sharing it with someone else. She slowly got to her feet, stumbling slightly on her way up, but recovering fast enough to react to an attack. A cutlass materialized in her hand that was used to block a boney weapon that was covered in spikes and rotting flesh. On the other end of that weapon was a man who had obviously forgotten to stay dead, as he was a zombie. "Ye failed again lass." he said in a grim tone. Their swords clashed again and Kaori's cutlass shattered. She spun, pulling a white sword out while screaming 'Shirofune' and trying to attack with it but failing miserably. The sword immediately vanished into the same particles from earlier, leaving her open. As she did, the zombie pirate brought his sword down and stopped just before it would've hit her neck.

"Match." called a soft voice from the doorway. A girl stepped out that was wearing a pirate's outfit of her own. Her long, light brown hair gently flickered behind her as she moved towards Kaori. "A-are you alright Captain?" she asked in a sweet, and concerned tone. "She's fine. That's only the third or fourth time she blew herself up today." the walking corpse said nonchalantly. "It was the tenth." Kaori replied in a disheartened voice. "Lady Ceostra won't be pleased that I destroyed another door either..." She added as she began dusting herself off. "Bah! A few strokes of glue and a couple nails, it'll be fine." the zombie retorted.

Kaori looked around and saw a couple new faces. More specifically, someone she knew from guild records, and someone she'd never met. "Thank you both for helping me today. I think I should rest a bit before we start up again." Kaori said to the zombie and pirate girl, who both agreed and began walking out of the building. The masked ninja then made her way to the other two, her mask hiding any signs of emotion as she looked at them. "...."

Kaori turned to Elaine first and bowed respectfully. "Miss West, welcome back." she said in a very calm, gentle, but strong tone. Her voice would be slightly muffled by the mask, and contain no true emotion to support the words. "We've yet to meet, but I've seen your name and face in the guild's history books. My name's Kaori. I'm a member of the Lareci Clan from Midi." she said calmly to greet the returning member. She then turned to the new person, a man she'd never seen. "I apologize for the earlier explosion. My magic isn't as stable as I wish it were; so Lady Ceostra, the leader of these people, has kindly allotted me a room to train in. If you're looking to join I'm afraid you're in the wrong building..." Kaori said in the same voice she gave Elaine. She then pointed out a window to the other bridge connecting Lamia Scale's castle to the rest of Hargeon, an intimidatingly long bridge at that. "You'll need to go back across the bridge, and then cross that other one to get to the correct area." she informed him. She figured he were here to register since he wasn't a member of the guild, and he didn't look like a tourist.

Kaori pulled out a small, blue, rectangular prism shaped crystal that quickly vanished. It was a mana crystal, one of the many the clan kept stored in their armory. Since Kaori was generally bad with magic, she had to use them for training to prevent her from using all of her magic and requiring medical treatment. Her problem was that she pushed herself too hard, using spells that were too strong for her, and being too hard headed to try something weaker.
