Shikotsumyaku シコツムヤク
Shikotsumyaku is a bloodline which gives its wielder the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure (their osteoblasts and osteoclasts). This requires no magic because it is a bloodline magic. By infusing their calcium with their innate magic, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking. This ability gives the user a unique skeletal structure. The user can shape the bones to their liking. This magic is bestowed on the person completely, meaning that he does not have to use up any of his magic power to use it, he can grow bones out of the surface of his skin to use offensively or defensively. The main capabilities of Shikotsumyaku is allowing the user to manipulate the speed of their bones' growth as well as the location of calcium deposits allowing for great versatility. This allows them to create weapons of bones that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like handheld weapons. The user is also able to create armour of dense bone underneath their skin. They can even fire pieces of their bones as long-ranged projectiles. Any bone that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the bones are removed. Users can increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel. This not only makes the created weapons very powerful, but also makes their bodies virtually indestructible. All their spells are user rank, but they still call them by their ranks. They are all user rank because they all use bones and the strength and speed of the bones is user rank. Instead of spells, they call them techniques because their techniques require no magic. All techniques or attacks with bones do user rank damage.
- Lineage:
Disparity
Description: For generations, alchemists have been trying to create a certain potion. The potion was named Disparity. The reason it was named so is because the potions power was to give the ability to turn certain parts of your body into a certain material, such as iron. However, after an alchemist research facility exploded from research and destroyed an entire town, the research was banned. A family of low classed alchemists continued the research secretly, never giving up on the potion. After centuries of work, the recipe was finally perfected and completed, though only one was made and one of the alchemists got greedy and drank it. The alchemist received the power to turn himself into five different materials - Iron, obsidian, diamond, paper and wood. Each material has a certain increase in abilities, but also a weakness to it.
Ability: Gives the user the power to have their entire body or parts of it adopt the qualities of either Iron, obsidian, diamond, paper and wood. It's not possible to use more than one material at once, though the user is able to switch to different materials at will.
Allows to adopt the qualities of the following materials - Iron, obsidian, diamond, paper and wood. Each material serves a different function, and has weaknesses and strengths according to it.
Iron will moderately increase both strength and defense (25%), however, the user will receive more damage from lightning attacks (50% more damage taken) and lightning attacks will arc to strike them if they get within 30 meters of them.
Obsidian gives the user a sharp damage increase with melee attacks (50%), but their defense is decreased (25% boost to damage taken).
Diamond gives the user nearly impenetrable defense (75% damage reduction), however, they can not use magic while any part of them is diamond.
Paper gives the user speed (100% speed / 50% reflex), and even the lightest of winds may carry them into the air with some guidance on their part, however, their defense and attack lessen (50%) and they are weak against wind and fire based attacks (75% more damage taken but does not stack with the lowered defenses).
Wood gives a small amount of everything, but is prone to fire-based attacks (25% strength, speed, reflexes, 10% damage reduction. 50% more damage taken from fire elemental attacks).
Usage: Only one at a time. Each form lasts 2 posts and there is a 6 post cooldown after use. The user must specify what parts of their body is changed when used also.
Strengths:
- Able to regrow bones
- Can use bones offensively or defensively
- Can control the shapes and sizes of the bones.
Weaknesses:
- He needs to drink a lot of milk.
- After too much use, the user becomes sleepy.
- If the bone that has grown out of the skin becomes broken, it can cause immense pains.
- The user may also experience pain after extensive regenerating of the bone tissue
Unique Abilities:
Hardened Bones - The user has bones strong as steel which grow and heal at incredible rates. Giving them a 50% increase in defense against spells and attacks.
Max Penetration - The users bones can pierce through nearly anything, no matter what material or magic, as long as the magic is his rank or lower.
Sharpened Bones - At this point, due to their incredible control, any blades made of their own bone are impossibly sharp, matching or surpassing all but the most incredible legendary blades. This gives a 25% increase to the bones spell damage.
Mana Switch - Because Izo's bloodline has no need for mana or any magic, he manipulated the useless essence and found it had allowed him to exchange it into additional hp. He uses life force instead of mana for his techniques.

- Signature Techniques:
- Dance of the Gun
Rank: DType: Offensive/BoneDuration: InstantHardened bones from the fingertips are shot at the enemy, with a spinning motion added to the skeletal bullets. A direct hit will excavate skin, flesh, and bone. Since the bones of the user can be regenerated, the rate of fire from the user's arsenal is limitless. Each bullet does half of user rank damage.Strengths:- Great Long Range AttackWeaknesses:- If the user has bad accuracy may miss a lot- This is a lethal attack and can be accidentally shot without the user knowing.
Dance of the Clematis : FlowerRank: Growing, Caps at S.Type: Offensive/BoneDuration: 6 postsDue to Izo's love of flowers, he has developed a technique which he named after them. This technique was one where he made the strongest-absolute hardest weapon made out of bone. This weapon is exceedingly large. Since its destructive power has no meaning if the blow does not connect with the opponent, Izo first binds the opponent with his Dance of The Clematis: Vine. Each hit of this weapon deals 150% of user rank damage.Strengths:- Very destructive weapon.Weaknesses:- Is easy to miss due to it's size if the user is not use to it.- Can be hard to be accurate if not use to the weapon.- D-Rank Techniques:
- Dance of The WillowRank : DType: Offensive/BoneDuration : 3 before the bones will come back.Cooldown: After taking the bones back in, it takes 4 posts for them to be able to use the technique again.Izo grows several long bone blades from his body for use as weapons. There isn't any set form for the Dance of the Willow. Just like a willow that is shaken by the wind, the opponents attacks are simply parried and countered. Uncharacteristic of a willow, the hardened bones puncture and damage the opponents body.
Though he primarily uses two blades grown from the palms of his hands, he also uses several secondary bones grown from his elbows, knees, and shoulders. This dance form is incredibly acrobatic, using spins, charges, and long sweeping slashes to make the strikes more effective and to evade opponents' counter strikes. Izo can also extend his bones to attack his opponents without having to adjust his own movement.Strengths:- Good offensive move- Can extend the bone for higher chance of attackWeaknesses:- People higher than the user rank can dodge if they are fast enough.- Cannot break through a shield higher than it's rank.- Can be countered by someone who is higher rank.Dance of the LarchRank: DType: Offensive/Defensive/BoneDuration: 3Cooldown: 4 posts once the bones come back. The stronger the opponent's physical attack, the more powerful the counter attack is, dealing severe damage. The sudden defence, combined with the needle-like bones high killing ability, makes way for a technique which has great potential for battle. The bones can be used to block or trap an opponent's physical strikes. In addition to being an unwelcome surprise for opponents, it makes him basically untouchable at close range. If an opponent would start to get close to him, he would begin to spin rapidly slashing the foe in multiple areas.Strengths:-Strong offense and defense.-Can counter thingsWeaknesses:- They can be avoided if someone isn't directly close to him.- Can be countered by a shield if they cast it in time.- As they spin in this form, they leave their head vulnerable to attacks.
Dance of the Camelia
Rank: DType: Offensive/BoneDuration: InstantCooldown: 2 Posts.Izo performs by modifying one of his upper arm bones to create a short, bone-hilted bone sword.. He then stabs chaotically and continuously which causes the opponents eyes to lag behind. The speed resembles afterimages, the hand with the sword is again and again visibly projected. And yet the movement is irregular which makes it difficult to predict. With each thrust the sword's track is very capable of changing. The attack comes from unexpected angles, causing a person's delicate defence reaction to come off guard. Though one can have great reflexes and moving ability, it is next to impossible to keep dodging the fierce attack until it stops. Thus if one showed an opening, a finishing blow will be dealt by one stab in an instant.Strengths:- Great offensive attack-Hard to fend against.Weaknesses:- Leaves their back vulnerable to attacks as they are solely focusing on this speedy attack- Can be avoided if the opponent is not directly close- Can be shielded against if they can cast in time.
Dance of the Clematic : Vine
Rank: DType: Offensive/BoneDuration: 3 postsCooldown: 4 postscan modify and pull out his own spinal column, and regrow a new spine to replace it. Between the bones in the gaps there is cartilage that allows flexibility, which makes it possible to bend it as if it were a whip. With average estimation skills along with the impossible range it stretches, dodging is difficult. The protrusions on the vertebrae are modified to make them stronger and sharper. He can also use this to immobilize opponents by wrapping it around them, they can immobilize them for 5 posts maximum.
Strengths:
- Strong Offensively
- Can immobilize opponentsWeaknesses:- Can be dodged by someone faster- Can be broken out of if the opponent is strong enough to destroy steel- Leaves his left side open, since he is controlling it with his left arm.- C-Rank Techniques:
Dance of the Porcupine
Rank: C
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Bone
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 posts
As an enemy approaches, he would bend his knees down so he is in a crouching position while standing up, suddenly bones would protrude from all over his body at lengths of three meters. And anything in the three meter range around him would be caught and punctured by the bone. Izo can also use this technique for a single bone instead of multiple protruding, but the multiple is normally used for many opponents who is surrounding him.
Strengths:
- Good counter and defense against a close opponent.
Weaknesses:
- Leaves his head vulnerable
- Only useful when the opponent is in range.
Dance of the TurtleRank: CType: Defensive/BoneDuration: 6 postsCool down: 7 posts
