She loved her home high above the mortal realm and she loved her family dearly, but right now they were both making her crazy. At times she believed her family name was more a curse than a blessing more so since her eyes had already been awoken by the time she opened them for the first time at almost thirteen years old. When people asked about the faint glow in her eyes she was more than happy to explain to them it was a unique trait that all within her family held, one time she spoke vaguely about how long it took someone to open their eyes for the first time showed their strength within crafts and that before a certain age they didn't have the glow in their eyes. When asked when she had opened her eyes and answered she was almost thirteen years old she was met with disbelief. She couldn't blame the woman, she would have much been the same if she had heard the tale so she decided from that day on she would miss out that small detail, last thing she needed was to be burned as some sort of witch.
For the moment she decided she needed to get away from her home, from the host and most of all from her family. They all placed great strain on her because on how she opened her eyes, she had already went through the archangel training while her eyes were closed, it wasn't exactly they easiest thing having to rely on her other senses but she had managed it and her family expected nothing less from one of their own kind; but it was getting two much for the teenager and so moved from the heavens to the mortal plain, realising that very few if any mortals had wings she hid her own after all the last thing she wanted was unneeded or unwanted attention. "So mortals with special gifts are called mages if I got my studies correctly" a smile on her face as she nodded "Very well, I'm going to learn how to be a mage!" she nodded her head as if he had set herself a goal only to tap her cheek "Where does one go to learn such things? I mean we have schools, academies and such at home but what about here?" she sighed she could already tell this was going to be frustrating but she would bare with it after all it was either that or go home and the latter wasn't on the cards right now.
Wandering around for awhile she ended up in front of a large building 'perhaps someone inside will know, if not they could likely look up directions..' she thought to herself leaning forward a little she took note of the materials, their purity, flaws and such 'A phoenix?' she finally thought seeing the symbol. Her own kind had a good relation with phoenix's so seen this as a good sign "Seems I'm blessed" she giggled walking inside but it surprised her as it was a lot cooler than a phoenix temple usually would be "Hello? Anyone home? I have some questions" she called out looking around the place much like she had from the outside waiting patiently for someone to come tend to her
