Personality: Ken Shiro is a man possessed by an intense desire. More than a desire, an instinct as old as the the race of man. Hunger. While Ken is perhaps one of the leading experts in hand to hand combat, his ability to take care of himself is actually pathetically poor. Most of the time he simply wanders around from town to town or all to often, wasteland to wasteland. The majority of the time he is starving, and in desperate need of nourishment. He relies on the kindness of strangers and what little money he has in order to eat. Sometimes he takes work as a sell sword, fighting for his pay, or preferably food. In areas where bandits or wars are prevalent his services are soon purchased as soon as people figure out that he is seriously willing to fight for food. However after he accumulates enough food he eventually leaves the battlefield, finding it boring.

Though Ken gets pretty desperate to eat sometimes he does have a moral compass. While not the brightest man he does try to avoid selling himself out to evil men, and wouldn't hurt those who can't defend themselves. Especially women and children, weak but annoying men he has less sympathy for however. He is not above throwing someone he doesn't like through a tree. However there are some lines that he refuses to cross no matter what, such as cannibalism, which though tempting in a survival situation is something that he straight refuses to do.

Ken is also attempting to develop a senses of humor, something that he has been told he needs several times from many different kinds of peoples. At this point in time however he has yet to master the subtle art of humor, and many of his jokes come off poorly. Ken is also possessed by an incredible habit of being forgetful, as well as social awkwardness. This is especially noticeable during intense situations, as his personality doesn't change even in the most intense of situations. However part of this can be blamed on Ken's lack of actual concern for the way people perceive him. As well as most things in general, outside of food, and martial arts.

During periods of intense hunger Ken is also known to suffer strange hallucinations, most often about food but there is no shortage to the amount of crazed things that he sees.

Ken is not the leader type, in fact he shouldn't even be allowed to make decisions for himself, much less others. However if a group of people find themselves desperate enough to follow Ken, and he manages to notice this. Then he will do his best to make sure that these people are safe, and get where they are going. As a follower Ken is definitely frustrating, while he is not disloyal by nature he is quite easily distracted, often forgetting what he was doing or going out in search of food after he gets bored. Although when the chips are down, and the situation seems darkest, and people rely on Ken, then his help can always be assured, so long as he is bribed with food. In fact, one can almost always purchase his help with food, for nearly any reason.

Likes:
* Ken enjoys food, perhaps more than anything else.
* Ken also enjoys martial arts, as with it he can earn food for himself.
* Ken also enjoys humor, from others and trying it himself spending his free time trying to come up with jokes.

Dislikes:
* Ken dislikes those who who won't listen to his comedy routine.
* Ken also dislikes those who get in his way and or hinder his ability to get food.
* Ken does not like to see weaker people being picked on by stronger ones. Unless they deserve it.

Motivations:
* Ken desires food.
* Ken however puts most of his effort into becoming more funny. It is a slow process.
* Ken also wishes to become stronger, though this often takes a back seat to food and humor.

Fears:
* Ken is quite terrified of going hungry.
* He is also afraid of the sun to a degree. During a few of his hallucinations he has often seen the sun as his enemy, a crafty, judgmental opponent who never leaves him alone.
* Ken fears that sometimes the things he is eating are actually hallucinations. He has been known to eat less than the safest of things during his bouts of madness.

Appearance: Ken Shiro is heavily built with muscle, and across his chest is a series of seven scars about the size of a finger tip. He takes moderate care of his looks though he allows his hair to grow out a little, and does not trim his eyebrows. Despite their obvious bushy nature. However he does take the time to shave when that option is available to him. When given a choice of clothing he prefers blue denim pants, as well as a denim jacket, with a red undershirt and black shoes. As well as a black belt to support his pants. On his right shoulder is a small piece of armor attached to his jacket. He does not know why it is there or how he got it. He wears either wraps on his hands, or wristbands depending on the mood he is in.
