Job Description:
You've been contracted to take down an extremely dangerous man.
The city guard has no information on him, and no one has come back alive.
They tell you he's hanging out in the sewers, and the last guy they pulled out was covered in burn marks, but wasn't scorched. Possibly death by scolding water?
Get to it!
Enemies:
Weak: Water Spawn
These cuddly little monsters deal C ranked damage, and take 4 C ranked hits to take down. They spray scolding hot water at you with high accuracy that will deal 1.5x C ranked damage.
Normal: Fire Spawn
These super fun guys deal 1.5x C ranked damage with their melee hits. They take 6 C ranked hits to take down and will shoot fireballs at you to deal 1.5x C ranked damage. When they die, they create a 10 foot radius explosion that deals B ranked damage to all.
Strong: Flaming Water Elemental
It's a water elemental... that's on fire. It shoots fireballs, blasts you with scolding water, and will dive into the water of the sewers and attempt to attack from below. The last attack deals 1.5x B ranked damage, where as the others deal 1.5x C ranked damage. It takes 8 hits of C rank damage to defeat.
Boss: Hydro-Arsonist
Amazingly, well not really, this isn't a "he" at all! It's a girl! She loves fire and will use a 20 meter long flame thrower attack that can only be consumed by Demon Slayers for some reason. This will inflict a serious burn, as well as deal B ranked damage. She also fire a scolding hot barrage of water streams that deal 1.5x B ranked damage, at half health she will use a potion to regenerate herself to full health over the course of 2 posts. She takes 15 hits of C ranked damage to beat, so have fun.
When she's been defeated, roll a Damage Dice. If you miss, your character doesn't kill her.
Reward:
Dead: 10K Jewel
Alive: 10K Jewel more jewel

Mages of legal guilds were contacted to deal with a variety of different criminals that were up to no good in various towns around Fiore. So this included the people of Black Rose, and seeing as most of his guildmates busy with other jobs or personal problems, Itazura took it upon himself to do this job. Since he was one of the people contacted to do such a job (which was cool because he finally got to use his iLac that he got a while ago). Not because he was such a good person that didn’t want anybody to get hurt because of this dangerous criminal, but because it seemed interesting. Last time he knew water and fire were quite the opposite, so dealing with an unknown person who uses both, maybe at the same time. Well he just had to check it out. Having no fear of getting boiled alive or some such. Neither did he care for anybody that might get hurt because of this person that most assumed to be a man. Why people automatically assumed people to be men if they didn’t know their gender, he didn’t know, and found it quite weird. He only ever did things that he took interest in, though I guess he should take notice of people’s well being and maybe worry for them. Considering he was part of a legal guild, and one of the aces of said guild, but he wasn’t like that and was most likely never going to be that way. Oh well, at least he was actually doing his job for once, instead of slacking by sleeping around or eating and drinking loads. Why Izayuki chose him to be an ace, he isn’t quite sure, but it’s a cool title I guess.
He took a normal vessel to get to Hargeon, a fast moving train, one of the many that traveled all around the country. The kamaitachi sat alone on a seat, squatting on the booth and keeping his hazel eyes looking through the glass. The scenery was nice, though he usually wasn’t one for stopping to smell the roses unless he was avoiding doing work. Though it was all things he’s seen before, nothing out of the norm. Just some small buildings and houses making small villages in the distance, then some skyscrapers that reached past the clouds, living up to their name. Tons of them all closed together with some shorter buildings to make some rather claustrophobic cities. Which was something he didn’t like so much, being a weasel he was more shy around people then other yokai, though more outgoing than other itachis. I mean, have you even seen many more itachis besides Itazura? Nope, that’s what I thought.
Soon enough the train screeched to a halt, the whistle blew and smoke streamed high into the sky. The conductor spoke, telling that they arrived at Hargeon Town and giving some instructions that the ayakashi automatically tuned out. Standing in his seat he stretched up his arms and yawned, some people stared at him in confusion in why the heck he was standing in his seat. Others just tried to ignore the strange young looking man. He hopped off his seat and whilst stuffing his hands in his pants pockets, he strolled off the train and into the town. It was smaller then some towns he’d been to, lazed repairs went on around the village. It stood in something of former glory, the best fishing town around, until a sea monster attack it so the weasel heard on previous occasions when visiting the town. He was surprised it hadn’t happened more often with how close it was to the water, and the town being within a magical world that wasn’t as delightful as some acted like it was. But he didn’t bother thinking too much into it, he was there for a reason, so he might as well deal with it. With a sigh, he put on his mischievous grin, making anybody around him uncomfortable and reach for their pockets to protect their wallets. But right now he was not in fact after their wallets, though that is likely behavior of the yokai. No he was after this so called Hydro-Arsonist.

So before getting a start on his mission he quickly grabbed some sushi to take out. So as he wandered the streets, headed for the part of the sewer where people came out with immense amount of burns on them, he ate the little bits of raw fish. Eating cause he was always hungry due to his supernaturally speedy digestive system and metabolism. And figuring going to the scene of where the injured people were found, would be a good start to his mission. So he wouldn’t have to spend too much time aimlessly wandering the sewers. So he grabbed the last of his raw fish from it’s take out box and shoved it in his mouth before tossing the box to the streets, where it sat nicely among more litter on the cluttered sidewalks. Chewing as he walked over to the sewer grate, he squatted next to it. Slipping his fingers through the holes as he swallowed the last of his food, contently licking his soft colored lips afterwards. With his unnatural strength that he had due to being a yokai, he pulled the grate up from it’s resting spot with ease before dropping it off to the side. He leaned his head over the edge and peeked inside, it was dimly lit and was hard to see anything. With a shrug he hopped in, landing with a splash and in the position he was sitting in when he was at street level. ”Cool!” he said with a snicker afterwards, his voice echoing through the tunnels.
Standing up and he instinctively, like an animal, he thoroughly shook his entire body at once to get the water off of him. Not to effective, but he saw it as good enough. The weasel looked up at the circle of light that shined down on him like a spotlight, before moving on through the dark tunnels filled with raunchy sewage. Which wasn’t doing any favors to the itachi’s enhanced senses, so with the strong smells that filled the sewer. So he most likely wasn’t going to be smelling any of his enemies, which was disappointing for him, but he knew it was coming. He could smell all of this crap up on the surface, so he knew it was going to be ten times worse where the source of the stench was. Releasing a sigh his hazel gaze traced the walls before looking straight forward in the tunnel ahead of him. He didn’t hear any strange noises, and his eyes still had yet to adjust two the lighting of the dark septic system. Though when it did, he’d be able to see perfectly. Being a naturally nocturnal animal, he had the amazing ability of night vision, even while in his human form.
It felt like forever to the kamaitachi, he trudged through the underground waterways. Hunched over as he walked, his arms dangling loosely in his pockets, threatening to fall out. This was gruelling torture for for him, he likes having things to keep his short attention span distracted. Otherwise he’d be left with his thoughts, which was never a good idea with Itazura, considering they can get rather depressive if he doesn’t block them out. Though he was saved from his miserable thoughts by being attacked, hearing something approach his path from around the corner he stopped. Staring blankly towards the direction of the noise, out came something rather odd looking. It was some sort of impish creature that looked like fire and a goblin had a baby. It giggled devilishly and formed fire in it’s hands and shot it at the weasel, who easily dodged it by jumping up and over it. A grin appeared on the henge yokai’s face, something similar to the spawn of fire.
Once he landed, he darted towards the small creature with incredible speed, it shot another fireball at him, but he jumped up just in time. He landed right on top of the fire goblin, it squealed angrily, sounding like some weird demonic possessed pig or something. It launched a punch at Itazura’s ankle, which the weasel easily disrupted by stabbing the spawn of fire right in the middle of it’s torso with his six inch claws. Twisting his hand the creature screamed, and he yanked his arm back and it yelped before dropping it’s head and limbs. Sheathing his claws he stepped back and wiped his hands on each other. Then he heard an odd noise, looking at the dead creature whose skin was like fire. It started to bloat an unnatural speed. Aruzati squinted at it, confused for a few seconds before realizing what it was doing. Muttering a cuss word in his native language the young looking boy darted in the other direction and turned a corner. Being able to crouch and cover his head protectively as an immense explosion of pure white hot flames erupted from the weird goblin creature. The flames just barely missed him, the pure heat of it burned the boy, giving him a nice first degree burn on his hands, wrists, neck and his head a little. Whatever wasn’t protected by his clothes or whatever.
When the flames no longer burned and only the smell of smoke lingered, the kamaitachi stood. Muttering ‘ow’ a few times as he did so. He didn’t really like being hurt, especially burns, they were annoying. Though this wasn’t that bad being first degree and the fact that he’s felt worse, but it was still irritating. He should’ve expected that something like this would happen, he was dealing with a Hydro-Arsonist or whatever. Using one of his spells in the time-space part of his hybrid magic, he reversed time on his body. Healing his wounds by making his body be like it was before the explosion, which was pumped full of adrenaline because of fighting. So dropping his arms into his pockets he grinned again, he ran back through the path and went the way the spawn of fire appeared from. This way making to most sense in what direction to go.
