Special Characteristics:
Evyn appears to be a normal human, though can shapeshift into a full Eastern Raccoon Dog. Many times, she remains in a kemonomimi form with Tanuki ears, tail, fangs, and claws.

Personality:
Evyn is a feisty and short tempered young girl, who adores attention and is intrigued by the tiniest of things. Curiosity only kills the cat, but not the tanuki, and is a trait that the tiny ayakashi embraces. She is extremely adventurous and nosy, and rarely backs down in the face of danger. A challenge, to her, is just a simple obstacle to overcome in the great adventure of life. She has a clever and cunning mind, and enjoy putting it to use in riddles, puzzles, debates, and any form of mental sparring. Evyn is eager to memorize just about anything, be it the words of others, long excerpts of stories she grows to love, poetry, or music. This youthful Bakedanuki is a lover of games, be they pre-existing, or ones she makes up on the spot. A favorite pastime, as any playful tanuki could agree with, is pranking and tricking whenever she can, even at the expense of others.

A favorite question of this young mononoke is ‘why’. As a curious individual, she is eager to learn how everything works, and how to have answers for almost anything. Along with her love of debates and deep discussion, she enjoys being able to arm herself with knowledge, often playing the devil’s advocate to see where she can get, and to further her understanding of a subject. Despite this, however, Evyn dislikes most practical matters, and prefers freedom and creativity. When deprived of it, or when someone disapproves, she is quick to anger and reacting in a spectacular fashion. This tanuki is a true free spirit, and enjoys being around others and socializing, despite needing a break to clear her head every once in awhile. Despite her love of people, she leans towards a tendency to seem rather insensitive, quicker to misjudge the feelings of someone or push past their tolerance levels. Should someone come off as flighty or irrational to her, she is quick to impatience, with a preference to consort with ones who can support both their ideas and themselves.

In battle, Evyn resorts to using her mental adeptness and cunning to both defend herself, and to win. Like her mother, she is often a sore loser, always determined to prove her strength to others, and to herself. She is extremely capable of leading allies, being good at strategizing and organizing others as needed. When needed, she can encourage allies, and is fast to make friends. Unfortunately, this makes her overly trusting, which can be a negative trait, should she encounter the wrong people. Overall, Evyn makes for a good leader, though often is short tempered and quick to dismiss those who bring her no substance. She is curious and creative, but insensitive and often takes her games, pranks, or opinions too far. Despite this, she tries her hardest to be a strong and loyal tanuki, in order to live up to the names of her renowned parents, Izayuki Riyoshi and Elyx Reiaki, and her esteemed lineage in a line of noble Ayakashi.


Likes:
`` riddles ♥ Riddle me this, Evyn enjoys riddles. While she rarely gets the chance to tell any or solve them, this tanuki won't hesitate to figure one out just for the hell of it.
`` night ♥ Being an Ayakashi, Evyn prefers the time of night, when sunlight is not strong enough to tire or overheat her. It is at this time she prefers to be active.
`` attention ♥ Evyn is fond of being in the center of attention, and taking in as much affection as she can.

Dislikes:
`` being a hybrid ♥ Being both human and yokai puts Evyn in the predicament of being in between two worlds, unable to be fully accepted by either.
`` spinach ♥ Spinach is nasty. So is broccoli and most other green vegetables. Their taste is sour and bitter to Evyn, thus she avoids eating these.
`` disloyalty ♥ Evyn is a creature of loyalty, and she finds anyone who would betray to be the lowest of the low-- utterly detestable.

Motivations:
`` adventure ♥ Unlike some Yokai, who only focus on causing mischief, Evyn enjoys exploring and embarking on new adventures.
`` fun ♥ Nothing is worth doing if it is not fun, or if there is no enjoyment to be had afterward.
`` chocolate ♥ Who would not love chocolate? It is the best flavor to ever exist.

Fears:
`` onmyouji ♥ Hunters of Youkai are to be feared by any wise tanuki, and not underestimated.
`` abandonment ♥ Being in between two worlds brings out Evyn's insecurity, making her fear being abandoned by her family and left with no one to return to.
`` yew ♥ These are disgusting berries that can kill when eaten... take caution, and fear them with your life. Do. Not. Eat. You may eat silicon packets, but not yew.
