Becoming a New Member

Gently pushing the front door open, Radulfer kept it wide enough so he could peer inside the building. He wasn't entirely sure that he had arrived at the right building, seeing how the directions he had written down upon his palm was beginning to smudge. The castle-like structure he was intruding on seemed like it could be the home to the Infinity Hydra Guild. From his spot, he can spot a winding staircase leading to a second floor, along with a tavern-like section. Something along the ceilings of the hall caught his eye, and if he squinted real hard he could spot lacrima-like objects. Their use was a mystery to him, seeing the versatile uses for lacrima, but he was able to guess the rest of the hall. To him, the first floor resembled a ballroom like hall, its bright colors, wide space, and traditional feel making it seem particularly cozy. If he had to guess, its purpose was to provide a place for members to socialize with each other and enjoy company.

Nudging the door open further with his forearm, Radulfer stepped fully into the hall, the door falling shut behind him. It made a low sound as it did, but it didn't seem to bother Radulfer as his feet brought him towards the nearby bar. None of the faces frequenting the bar was familiar to him, but he was sure that there would be someone who he could ask about how to go around joining the guild. Radulfer was just beginning to dip his toe into the waters of becoming a wizard, and he, unfortunately, was not aware how everything was to be dealt with. He did research Infinity Hydra well before he traveled to the Mountain Village; he knew of its goals to rid dark guilds and protect the public in ways the Magic Council and its Rune Knights weren't capable of doing. While it sounded fit for him, he was still uncertain of any tests needed to join the guild, or if anyone who asked could join. Well, he was certain that he was about to learn what he needed in the upcoming moments.

Radulfer's body went rigid as he heard someone from right behind him, the man quickly turning around to face the speaker. His green gaze dropped to look properly at the black-haired girl. The corners of his mouth were beginning to lift into a polite smile as he begun to nod before he heard a feminine yell.

As he felt something wrap its arms around him, Radulfer stepped back into the counter of the bar, a startled gasp escaping his slightly open mouth. His arms raised, hands at shoulder level, the only eye that wasn't hidden by white hair wide. His attention was quickly drawn to his hugger's pink tails. He counted nine of them before he looked down at the child-like face of his "attacker". With a quiet exhale he lowered his hands onto the shoulders of the kitsune before trying to gently push her away. At the apology that came from the Mage dressed in traditional garb, he just mumbled "It's fine", his attempts at putting distance between him and Akemi not relenting.

He was fine with hugs from friends, and sometimes even acquaintances, but hugs from strangers were too much for Radulfer. It didn't help that her out-of-nowhere hug had jarred him out of his comfort bubble, nor did her scream of "keeping him" as if he was a pet was reassuring to him.

Hiro was a bit on the moody side today. Not only did GL cause a bit of a scene when he went out shopping for supplies but also his friend, Misayo's, little pet had been making quite a lot of noise during his meditation, something he did not care for. Misayo! Hiro shouted as he made his way into the hall. Can you please keep that thing- then he took a quick breath. He let his temper get a hold of him again, and he could see the tiredness of the fire maiden's face. Her pet was just as annoying to her as GL is to Hiro, so he could relate. Sorry about my temper, Hiro said with a small bow. I just don't like being interrupted is all during meditation. I know it wasn't your fault. He scratched the back of his head and gave an awkward smile. The samurai also wasn't getting enough sleep either. Oni seemed to be more annoying than ever.

That was when a new face caught the samurai's attention. Oh hello there! Hiro bowed once more, towards the new mage. My name is Hiro, samurai of time. Welcome to our guild, he said with a welcoming grin.

Wolfe was still disoriented slightly by everything he was trying to “relearn” so to say. He didn’t remember any of this, but he was told he was not only a mage, but a member of the guild who’s doorstep he passed out upon reaching after his escape. In some small way it kind of made some sense from a simple stand point. He had flown to this location, out of all of Fiore he had come here. He figured even though he didn’t remember the place or the people here, he must of remembered the way here subconsciously. To top that off, the guild leader Ardere seemed to not only know the man but more or embrace him as a brother, so it made sense. However, it still didn’t make any of it any easier to swallow.

There were other little things too that made him believe that once was his home. As he walked around the building that was apparently his home he found himself in the open bay area that was obviously a workshop and as he picked up different tools and pieces of tech it seemed like they were second nature and he could turn a few pieces of “scrap” into a working clock in a matter of minutes. Almost as if it was muscle memory or something.

However, he was getting a little overwhelmed because even though this was happening, no actual memories were returning. So Wolfe decided to make his way to the guild hall and get some food as he was starving like nothing he could imagine.

After a few mintes he was was standing in front of the guild hall and pushed the large door open and walked in, the door closing behind him. He made his way right into the tavern area and towards the bar. AS he walked in he notice at least two faces he could remember. He did not know them well, only by name as they had both been there when he had woken up after passing out at the guild door only days before. Hiro, and Misayo were their names if he remembered correctly. However, they seemed to be engaged with a person who’s face was new to Wolfe, but then again, most of the guild still fit that description. As he walked by he nodded at them and sat down at the bar only a few feet from them.

After a few moments the bartender, a fairly attractive woman, came to a stop in front of Wolfe and as she saw his face her eyes lit up a little ”Ohh, Hello Wolfe! I am so glad you have returned.” It would seem this woman remembered him, but he could not remember her to save his life and he felt bad about it, but he couldn’t help it. There was a moment before her face shifted to a moment of shock ”Oh I am so sorry!.... I forgot… you don’t remember anything do you hun?...I am so sorry. I hope I didn’t offend you or make you feel bad.” Wolfe just shrugged it off, as he knew this must be new for some of the members who remembered him just as it was for him. He just gave a quick shake of his head to tell her no, it was fine and put his hand up to let her know it was fine. He then gave her a smile “It is fine. I know it is weird for everyone…. but its ok. Actually I am here cause I am really hungry. Could I order some food?” She smiled back at him ”Of course hun, how about I just put in your usual than. It might help a little to see some familiar things.” Wolfe gave a nod and she smiled again and walked to the back to place the order.

Wolfe now knowing he might have to wait a few, turned around to watch what was going on with this new face he didn’t recognize.

Gently pushing the fox-child away from him, Radulfer's attention was drawn to a yell of, "Misayo!" The person who had shouted the words was a man who had just entered the hall whose anger disappeared soon after he had made his appearance.

Keeping an uneasy watch on the person who had flung herself at him through the corner of his eye, Radulfer took a moment to watch the newcomer. Like his apparent comrade, he seemed to be traditional from the way he bowed to his body clad in armor. And from his words, the man even meditated, which, Radulfer supposed wasn't too unusual for someone who finds the strengthening of their magic and body important.

And then the man introduced himself, his name Hiro who apparently holds the title of "Samurai of time". Radulfer hadn't encountered many men who called themselves samurai, and for a moment he wondered if he followed the bushido moment.

"Ah, hello, Hiro," Radulfer replied, his words slowed by a slight drawl that he had when he talked. "I'm Radulfer Falk, feel free to call me whatever," the mage continued, his head cocking to the side as his attention was caught by the guild doors opening and closing as a man walked in. But, as to not seem rude and distracted by Hiro, Radulfer quickly returned his gaze to him and offered him a polite smile. "Oh, and I don't have a title, so that's that."
