Well, well. This one looks like quite an interesting contract indeed. Not everyday you get invitation to something called the "Murder Mystery Game". It intrigued Leila to say the least, as she was a big fan of many books about detective stories where even the most deceiving of acts are found out in the most interesting of manners. Though she would not be actually taking part in it, for she was meant to be one of the hired bodyguards that would ensure no one actually got hurt during the game by any means. That bit was a little bit of a shame, but what can one do. There was absolutely no reason to refuse this work. If nothing else, she could enjoy observing other people doing their very best to solve these made up mysteries. So after few hours of preparing herself, the Eden's witch found herself standing in front of the Oak Inn, 9:45 showing on the clock. Better be here early than late, considering the doors would be locked after the game's start. A little strange choice of design in the girl's head, but she figured the masters of this little game knew perfectly what they were doing. Her attire was actually not much different from the usual, as her combat gear was fancy enough to be worn during such events. And because it was indeed designed for combat, there was also no way it could get damage while getting caught on something inside of the inn.
The only real difference was that she got a small mask that covered just about half of her face. Every participant would get one of these, so that no one's identity could be easily revealed during the game itself. If that was really effective or not, she kinda doubted. But it sounded like an amusing idea, people running around and calling each other by the shape of form of their masks. It was also shame that her father was not here. While just about anyone could be invited to this party, he was... unfit for such games to say the least. A giant towering sentient machine. Yeah, even a full-face mask would not help him to hide in the shadows if he wanted to ever be labeled as the murderer in the game. Though once again, the thought alone was amusing enough to make the girl chuckle. Well, it was about time now that she assumed her position. The lobby of the inn was large, plenty of people gathered. It also had multiple stories, the second one consisting of terrace-like walkways. This was where she would be stationed, one one of them. Suffice to say, having such spot provided a great overview of everything. Which was pretty much the point. From here, she could see anyone who would actually try to play some mischief on others. But no one would get hurt on her watch, no! The great detective and protector of the weak, Leila Vergious was here to ensure everyone's complete safety! What a hero.
