    Currently, with the secondary magic system as it is we have to do the following (or it was like this the last time I did it. If this has changed then feel free to lock or delete this):

    Create all five spells and the signature spell all at once.

    This is so that the app doesn't have to be unlocked each time a person rank's up, but by this logic we should also do the same for primary magic and we don't.

    This also prevents people doing things like 'Ok I really like this spell and i'm C rank so i'll have it at C rank then when I rank up i'll rank this up and replace it'

    As when rethinking my secondary this is my issue. I really like my B rank spell and I know i'm going to want to take it up when I rank up (also thinking same for my new C rank idea), but I can't because I have to decide on all five spells and a signature all at once.

    IF I can't use the spells yet I dont' see why I should be registering them as by the time I rank up I might decide on something completely different that I want to do with that spell slot.

    That's the main tweak i'd suggest, but there is one other. Allow the signature spell of the secondary to be used a little bit earlier. We get signature spell for primary at C rank (if I recall the rules correctly) so one level above starting. We get secondary magic at C rank as well(with 100 posts) so I'd say maybe we can get the signature at B rank(one level above starting), but only if we have enough posts (say 200?).

    That way we have a chance to use this spell and make it a 'signature move' that we've mastered before we hit S rank which is essentially the highest rank most people are ever going to hit.

    The first rule isn't really followed imo; you can have your secondary unlocked and stuff if you want to change spells. So, it's not a rule, but a guideline, like all the "rules" are.

    Except i've had magic denied before because I didn't put all the spells in straight away. This seems more like its either a rule or its not a rule. There shouldn't be a grey area on this

    I think what Marceline is saying is that even after the spells are made the spells are set in stone, people are allowed to make edits to them and whatnot. If I'm wrong and that's not allowed then that seems silly, but let's not get into my opinion of the site's rule as a whole.

    I do agree that it seems odd to call it a 'Signature' spell if we earn it at the non-paywall enforced power cap. I specify power since SS doesn't have any power increases I can find, just MP cost reduction (which is nice). But I digress, a Signature Move is something a character is well known for using. The Undertaker and the Tomb Stone, John Cena with the hand in front his face wavy thingy he does as a taunt, my character and her library 'don't interrupt me' book smack, Nazus' Fire Dragon Roar and Fire Dragon Iron Fist, etc...

    Something only usable at max rank has had no time to become a true Signature Move, just a new spell. A better name would be a spam spell, cause at that point that's all it really is. So TLDR I agree that the rank requirement should be brough down to B Rank + 200 posts. The first part of his post I'm indifferent toward.

    Hm. . . you shouldn't be denied for that. That's odd.

    As for the signature spell, I don't see why it can't be another user-rank that maxes at S, but, unfortunately, I'm not the final say.

    If it was user rank maxes at S and you got it at say B rank i'd be happy with that. As otherwise its like 'ah i've got this cool spell I want to make my trademark move on my secondary, but I can't because 'reasons''

    What's more the denial was from an admin if I recall.
