Sniffing the air carefully gave her the only clue she needed to know why she felt as if something was wrong here. Drifting from somewhere behind them? Was a familiar scent, the ones she associated with her birth place, Peace Village, a place she had no desire to return to whenever such an outcome was avoidable. Jiyu didn’t even take missions there, expect if she heard something dire that could wipe the town out was occurring, then she would rush home to protect it. Even if she was done with that place and her father's objection to her being a mage? She loved the people who lived there, except for the old drunkard, he didn’t even take her word about her mother’s murder and he certainly didn’t believe in her to any degree. The canine laughed out loud, Marschal’s first sign that she was now awake, the laugh had been emitted as she realized the irony once more within the fact she hated her father for being such a drunkard and yet the man she fell for was also one. Jiyu supposed that the difference was simple, she felt Marschal believed in her, even though he knew how weak she had become, in spite of the fact she was fairly sure he wanted to lock her in a bird cage to keep her from getting hurt, he didn’t. While she was slightly alarmed from the familiar scents around her, the thick scent of the partner half-breed surrounding her kept the Inugami calm as she slowly focused on waking up, wishing they had been still laying in their bed instead of heading towards some unknown destination.

“Hmm, Marschal?” the canine pressed her two tiny palms to part of his expansive back, using it as leverage to arch her own as she yawned, a mouthful of pointy canines showing with the action. Slowly she let the wind lift her so that she could place one hand at his neck and rest the other one his shoulder where she had just been laying, her element playing with her long black, orange tipped hair. “Mind telling me what we’re doing love? Where are we heading?” the canine spoke softly, running the hand on his neck up to right beneath one of his fluffy ears, her thumb barely touching it as her other fingers weaved into his dark hair, content smile on her lips as she ducked to press them against his forehead through the males bangs, using her nose to get the ebony strands out of her way. “Smells like we’re roughly around Mountain Village somewhere.” they actually smelled closer to the well-hidden location as opposed to the village she didn’t want to see, so the female made no comment on her dislike of Peace Village, leaning back once more to stare at the golden eyed male. Even if she didn’t know where they were going or what they were doing? Jiyu was actually alright, even if he told her they were going to burn down the world, or something else crazy, she would be alright with it because after all, it was just him, only for him. If anyone else took such a liberty with her as to take her towards the unknown while she slept? Jiyu would have a much less calm reaction, but it was Marschal so she had no issues with it as she stared down at him, which was actually something she didn’t get to do very often since she was so short.

Elfin ears twitched as she tried to find some audible hints of what they were up to and she could hear the village clearly, so she figured that was exactly where they were heading. The wind brushed against her ears softly, possibly saying something to her which caused the wind user to lean back further, fully trusting that marschal would not let her fall as she craned her body so she could look at her own stomach. “I take it we’re moving, love?” a few days head notice would have been nice, but she would go wherever he went even without his request or him assuming she wanted to come. Of course to be fair? He already likely knew that there was no way she was going to let him move without her, she needed to be with him and when presented the chance to remind him of this she often took it. “Couldn’t have woken me properly for this?” she chuckled once more, trailing one finger along his left ear more misting over it than actually touching it. With the wind still aiding in keeping her up she twisted her body so she was pretty much sitting on his shoulder, stretching her arms with a yawn, her thick black tail wagging against his back.

Considering they were within mountain village by the time she righted herself and was decently awake? The still subtly groggy wind user figured they were heading for Infinity Hydra, which kind of made sense to the female, but not completely. However she didn’t question leigh, she never really could on most matters, she just blindly trusted him, possibly occasionally suggesting ways what he chose to do could be made better. “If we’re going to a guild can you please put me down, so I’m not made to look like some distressed damsel you just had to rescue?” Though there had been a number of times that had actually been the case? The scantily clad woman hated appearing weak when she could do something to prevent such an appearance since she actually was rather frail and she figured there were a good deal of people who might try to take advantage of that if they discovered it. Jiyu knew she was safe so long as she was beside him though. Her mismatched eyes sparkled at him with amusement, bringing her hands to his cheeks even while her body leaned back urging him to let go so she could drift down allowing her bare feet to touch the ground.

Once she was finally on the ground or secured entirely into his arms and they were heading towards their destination once more? Jiyu came to realize she was heading to an unknown, new place, in her natural form. Kazehime didn’t know how people there felt about demons and with her life thus so far, she was scared even with marschal by her side. “Hey does this look alright?” suddenly her black hair had turned brown and shorter, her elfin ears becoming rounded, mismatched eyes dimming to amber but holding the same light as normal. Jiyu now looked fairly human, though it appeared she still couldn’t at the moment hide her fluffy canine tail which had now turned brown with her shapeshifting ability. Taking on another form? Was often an easy way for her to feel safer. Of course? No amount of shapeshifting could control the way her magic made her dress, but she’d mostly grown adjusted to that by this point in her life.
