- Job Title: Royal Party in Midi
Rank: D
Player Requirements: Must be at least D-Rank; Own a passport
Job Requirements:5 posts. 100 words per post or a single post of 500+ words
Job Location: Midi
Job Description: Midi is home to not just a powerful army of sword wielding magic users, but home to one of Earthland's most powerful mages. So, why would they ask for a D-ranking job to be posting to aid them in defense? Well simple, The emperor is holding a party, but don't worry, or even try to get in. No, this party is going to be several hundreds of miles away. Your job is to be guarding where the samurai mages normally would be. See the problem is, the emperor has pooled over half the entire nation's samurai forces to one city not just because he is celebrating them, but because many other powerful foreign leaders will be there including Fiore's own royalty. So, because of causing many cities nowhere near this party to be so deprived of any force other than maybe a few samurai, they have enlisted Fiore mages to aid them for the entire day.
Enemies: Up to you.
Reward: normal xp & 2k jewels

Parties were excellent. No matter what the company was, at some point during the night, afternoon, morning, whenever the event occurred, there had to be free goodies eventually. This was Leah’s favorite part, and she unabashedly was that person who took five cupcakes and stashed a few away instead of simply taking what she intended to eat at that very moment. It wasn’t as though the redhead was starving and worried about food down the line; well, she did always worry about whether she had enough food to eat and enough water to drink, but much of her worries had passed on account of the generosity of the guild. As long as she was a member, the mage could eat and drink and even sleep free of charge in the house belonging to Golden Phoenix. Anyways, back to the point: Leah loved parties. She would have been caught at one at every opportunity. Upon hearing that there was a party in Midi, hosted by the royal family, and that she was required to travel Midi on account of the part for a job, the girl celebrated completely.
That was, until she realized that indeed, the job opening only existed because of the party. But it was taking place miles away from the party and in fact was only related due to the emperor foolishly pulling away the vast majority of his armies. Nobody seemed to even be planning any invasions, since most of the leaders of countries that could be hostile to Midi were attending the party anyways (while Leah wasn’t, and she was a friendly foreigner on a side note). So here the girl was, stuck in the city of Corinpu. To be honest, the redhead hadn’t even heard of Corinpu until she had arrived at the borders of Midi and been told that she would be stationed her during the night, while her higher ups from Fiore went and danced and got free food. It was the fact that there was so clearly not going to be any problems here at all that bothered her. The girl was a pessimist after all, but she hardly felt that there was going to be a gigantic raiding party on Corinpu for its oranges (that was what the small town specialized in) because of the jealousy in trade markets. So many people bought the round fruits from the city that nobody would have even dared to try something stupid like that.
Furthermore, it wasn’t as though Leah would be super effective against an enormous group of bandits on her own. At most, she would be able to call for help, maybe get killed trying to protect the stupid fruits from getting stolen and eaten, and die very hungry. Just thinking about the party reminded the green eyed mage of fondue fountains from the elegant dinner soirees that she had attended while competing as a contestant in Fiore’s Top Model. It had earned her some popularity and fame, as well as recognition for her attractive looks (and who couldn’t use some of that at times?). After what seemed to be eons of daydreaming about her good times of the past that included actual free food, the girl was relieved of her post by a stern looking samurai who eyed the marks across her cheeks dubiously. Clearly, they had been made by the grooves in the stone wall she had chosen to slump over and use as a pillow, but he was honorable enough not to say a word. Retaining her dignity and more than ready to raid the first restaurant or fast food place that came into view, Leah stomped all the way back across the border and into Fiore with a bad attitude and a worse appetite.
