    Vesta Guildless D-Rank

It’s a well known thing around Fiore, a device made in the non-magical land known as the Neutral Grounds. It has a lot of uses, apparently it can access something called the Lacrima Net, which sounds pretty neat. It can also call other people who have the same device by typing in some numbers. There is also other things that the witch heard about it, but it didn’t take much to make the girl interested and immediately want to go and get one for herself. So she hopped on a train as early in the day as she could, and went off. She would’ve taken Leon, but being a magical creature, she wasn’t quite sure what effect the Neutral Grounds, which shut down all magic, would do to him. This made him upset, but he perked right back up when she said she would bring him back some food and an iLac. Though he was more interested in the food then the device, but she was still gonna get one for him, even if he didn’t care for it. It would be a good distraction for him. And not like usual she did carry her magic book with her, she left that with Leon figuring she wouldn’t need magic in a non-magical environment. She was just picking up the device after all. Her staff, disguised as a key still hung around her neck though. But it was basically useless like this.
Vesta sat eagerly on the train, kicking her feet that couldn’t reach the ground from her place on the seat. Her soft green gaze was glued to the windows, watched the trees, houses, signs, etc. as the train passed them. Oh how exciting this was, maybe she was making it out more then it was, but at least she was enjoying herself. Easily entertained she is. Though to her it felt like a long time, it wasn’t, the conductor said they’d be arriving that the Neutral Grounds in five minutes. And when those five minutes were up, Vesta made sure she was the first one of the train. Though still really hyper, in a place with no magic and being a witch, she immediately felt drained of some of her boundless energy and slightly uncomfortable. But she didn’t let such thing, a tiny thing at that, ruin her enjoyment of getting this device. The young witch skipped down the streets of the magicless city. It was still beautiful like all places are in their own way, but she couldn’t imagine what it would be like living like this. Living without magic, it seemed like such a sad and boring thing. But all these people didn’t seem sad or bored in the slightest, I guess because as much happiness magic brings, it brings ten times more sadness. So Vesta has been told. So I guess in a way it was safer, and more preferred by some people. The little girl was obviously not included in that group of people who would rather be without magic and in a world like that.
Soon enough the maiden reached the building, giddy with joy, anticipation and curiosity, she headed in. It seemed slightly crowded, a lot of people seemed to really want this thing also. She didn’t blame them. But it didn’t take much waiting for her to be able to get one for herself, they gave her instructions on how to use it. Though I doubt she was listening while she held it and happily and curiously looked at it and what it could do. Even though they were telling her. When they were done, she asked if she could get one for a friend. Which they gladly gave, figuring the more people that had it, the more people would find out about it and would want one for themselves if they don’t already have one. When she left, she headed back slower then when she came. Distracted by the new device of hers that she had just received, she started to hop on the next train before realizing she forgot to get food for Leon as promised. Which did end up getting, not without almost missing the train though.
