Rank: D

Solo Word Count: 500 Words
Group Word Count: 1000 Words
Job Requirements:
- Meet Guy in Hargeon and help him awaken the Sapphire Knight. GUY AND VIRGIL MUST SURVIVE.
Job Location: Hargeon
Job Description:
Some time after your run in with Guy and his surprising transformation, you find yourself in Hargeon. Word going around the city is that a new host club has popped up, but something about it has the citizens feeling uneasy. The hosts themselves are nice enough, but the owner of the club simply creeps out the clientele. You decide to investigate these rumors and visit the club late at night. You're greeted at the door by a particularly aloof host with bleached hair smoking a cigarette. After being seated at your table, you notice a familiar face at the table across from you. The familiar face notices you as well and rushes over to greet you. It's Guy! He explains that he had tracked down one of the successors of the knights' legacy in Hargeon and that he thinks it's the beach blonde host that let you in.
As you two converse, the host -- who you now know is named Virgil -- comes back with your food order and sits down to perform his host job and allow you to enjoy his company. Guy minces no words and explains that he knows Vigil is one of the Prismatic Knights. Virgil dismisses it as ridiculous until Guy shows a corner of the Aegis slipped out of his pack. The host's eyes go wide upon seeing the shield and he goes stiff as a rod. Not a few moments later, however, the owner of the club walks out. A thin man with an unsettling smile constantly rubbing his hands together approaches the table insisting that Guy give him the shield to confiscate thanks to the clubs strict "no weapons" policy. Guy refuses and gets halfway through asking how he knew about the Aegis if he couldn't see it before he's grasped by the collar and held in the air by the surprisingly strong owner.
Virgil snaps out of his trance and before you or Guy have a chance to retaliate, the owner waves his hand and the club explodes in a haze of rubble that sends you all sailing out the windows and on to the beach. The owner follows you and lands before transforming into a hulking golden monster resembling a snapping turtle. He explains that he is Dondoro, a commander in the Xidraxi army and tells you to hand over the shield. As he goes on about how the Aegis would be his ticket out of Hargeon and away from his hated ocean, he notices the bangle on Guy's wrist. Dondoro summons his Sahagin troops and commands them to attack.
(Roll one monster die per Player Character plus one. 2 for 1 PC, 3 for 2 PCs and 4 for 3 PCs. Add up the results of all rolls to get the number of Sahagin you fight. If you get 2 Normal and 1 Strong then you fight 20 Sahagin, for example.)
Halfway through the battle with the Sahagin, Guy transforms into the Ruby Knight. Virgil, who was doing an okay job holding his own, goes stiff once more as he sees the Aegis on Guy's back in his transformed state. A brilliant blue light similar to the red light that engulfed Guy back at the tomb envelops Virgil's body. After the Sahagin are dealt with, he emerges in a costume similar to Guy's, but blue. Dondoro finally gets up and enters the battle.
(Roll one Monster Die to determine Dondoro's HP. Refer to his profile to find out the HP based on how many player characters are in the thread.)
Just before Dondoro is about to fall, you and the Ruby and Sapphire Knights are blown back by an explosion of dark energy. A pitch black portal is ripped open in front of the weakened Dondoro and out steps a figure clad in black and gold armor, a lion head adorning his chest and a fur mane streaming from the back of his helmet. All attempts to attack the newcomer are parried or canceled and all assailants are blown right back to where they started. The newcomer says nothing and simply retrieves Dondoro and leaves in another portal.
The battle "won", Guy and Vigil power down and Virgil explains he heard a voice telling him what was going on and how role in everything. Seeing as his workplace was just blown up, he agrees to accompany Guy on his journey to unite the rest of the Knights. Guy thanks you for helping him once more and the two make their leave.

Enemies:
- Sahagin Myrmidons:
Indigenous aquatic creatures of marginal intelligence that have been subjugated and mind-controlled by the Xidraxi's Dark Mistress. They wield tridents and curved swords encrusted in barnacles and coral. Despite their large size (between 6' 5" and 7' each) Sahagin can move incredibly quickly on land and even faster in the water -- reaching speeds of up to 30 m/s in a sprint on land and 50 m/s when swimming. They also possess the ability to leap up to 15 feet in the air on their powerful legs. Finally, each myrmidon possesses the ability to belch a jet of scalding hot water from a gland near their throat that travels at 15 m/s for a maximum range of 15 meters. Impact from the jet deals D-Rank water damage and direct hits will leave 2nd degree scalding burns.
HP: 35- Weak - 4 Myrmidons
- Normal - 6 Myrmidons
- Strong - 8 Myrmidons
- Boss - 10 Myrmidons
- Weak - 4 Myrmidons
- Commander Dondoro:
A low ranking commander in the Xidraxi army. Boastful and loud, this revenant's personality betrays his turtle-like appearance. However, he hates the ocean and the smell of the Sahagin he's been forced to command for this mission. As such, he just wants to get through with killing you and your allies and go home. He dislikes his current task so much that he will actually lay down on the sand and wait for his minions to whittle you down before entering the battle. Being a commander, he is far more robust and skilled than the grunts you've faced on your journey up until now. Dondoro has command over the element of earth, a power similar to Earth Make magic. Since you're fighting on the beach, he gathers the surrounding sand and compresses it into solid stone for his spells.

Active Abilities:- Terra Charge - [C-Rank] Dondoro lowers his shoulder and gets ready to charge head first. Sand gathers around him, compressing into a barrier of rock around his arm and head. He blasts forward at 20 m/s, barreling into anything he touches and dealing 125% of D-Rank earth damage to anyone hit and taking them along with him. He will keep going until he hits something solid like a wall, sandwiching his victim(s)between him and the solid object. Roll three Block Dice if you're hit by it to try and escape before he runs into a wall. If you roll two Blocks then you are able to successfully get out of his charge. If not, you are caught in the impact and take an addition C-Rank worth of earth damage.
- Terra Wall - [C-Rank] Dondoro stomps on the ground, kicking up a wave of sand that quickly compresses into a solid wall of rock 7 feet in height and 10 feet in width. The wall can withstand 3 D-Rank spells or one C-Rank spell before breaking. Spells of water and ice elements count as one rank higher when clashing with the wall. Once the wall is erected, he cannot move it.
- Terra Fists - [D-Rank] Dondoro gathers sand around his hands and compresses it into solid stone gauntlets around each fist. These gauntlets allow him to deal D-Rank earth damage with regular attacks and last for 3 posts.
- Terra Spear - [D-Rank] Dondoro slams a palm down on the beach. The ground begins to rumble before a giant spike of stone erupts from the ground underneath his target two seconds later. The spike is 6 feet tall and deals D-Rank earth damage.
- Terra Barrage - [D-Rank] Dondoro barrels a fist into the ground. The earth beneath him begins to rumble for two seconds before the area in a 10 meter radius around him explodes in spikes of stone. Each spike is 4 feet tall, juts out at a 45 degree angle, and deals 50% of D-Rank damage.
- ???:
The only thing known about this enemy is that he seems to be a higher ranking member of the Xidraxi army and that he is ridiculously strong. Strong enough to render your most powerful spells as useless as an infant swatting at an elephant. After he leaves with Dondoro, the only thing left are the cold eyes of the lion on his chest emblazoned into your memory.
