Her business with the star crossed lovers done and over with, and her superiority proven to a group of foolish guardsmen, Kaori walked down the streets of Magnolia to make her way back to the castle she'd woken up in a few weeks ago. The people of the castle were kind, they'd helped her with a great ordeal and nurtured her to wellness. They let her stay in their castle, giving her a room of her very own and access to a specific portion of their grand library. Kaori had forgotten what they called themselves, all she knew was that they were mages like she was, and some of them were incredibly powerful by comparison.

Kaori was focusing on the events that transpired, leading to her becoming sort of a member of the guild. The fight was still fresh in her mind, and the fact that she was taken by surprise and hurt badly. The worst part of that whole ordeal was that she was at the mercy of a group of people she didn't know. It was humiliating, waking up in a strange room in a strange city, with strange people nearby and not knowing whether she should attack them or show gratitude. She didn't know if she was a prisoner or not, and her only solace was that the nursing staff had all seemed nice enough to give her a wide girth. Kaori scoffed at the memory and continued walking, only stopping after seeing a man with one of those magic cars stopped on the side of the road. Her pace quickened slightly and her long, white hair bounced with each step. At first, the man owning the vehicle was a bit unwilling to talk to the masked woman but then his watch began beeping and signaling that it was almost time for his shift to be over with and he still hadn't finished his run.

The situation was simple as he explained, trying to ignore the shuriken pointed at his throat. He was a mail delivery person and his ride was out of magic to run off of and his shift was nearly finished but he had en entire street to finish filling mail boxes. Kaori eyed the man up and down and deduced that he had the athleticism of a decrepit obese sloth with parkinsons. Kaori took the letters from his truck without notice and began sprinting, as though she were chasing prey. Within a few minutes the job was done and Kaori had come back with a single letter, one that didn't belong to any number on the street. The mail boy took the letter and thanked her, watching in awe as the masked ninja walked away. From here, she'd continue her path and head back to the castle at the coast. She would have to go to the train station, and endure a long, bumpy ride back to the city with the castle. It made Kaori a bit unhappy that she didn't even know the name of anything in this strange land, but at least she was able to navigate it as though she did.
