    Job Details:

Mashyuu and Itsu sat in the bar at the Hargeon Town main docks, drinking a tall mug of whiskey between the two of them while they listened to their friend Buggy plea for help from the two yet again. "Please help me! Guys, we got along so well last time. I'll give you another ten thousand Jewels for helping me!" Mashyuu's glowing blue eyes narrowed while Buggy pleaded. He was going to help the pirate with the large nose but something about the pirate begging always made Mashyuu grin behind his mug. Itsu knew what Mashyuu was doing and didn't like it. Buggy had been a good friend to the pair of Sabertooth Wizards and she had enough of watching Mashyuu play around with the man who clearly needed their help. "buggy, relax. We will help." Itsu assured the man and reached out to gently touch the back of his hand. "We helped you when nobody would before and we will do it now." Mashyuu glanced at Itsu and patted the ram helm on her head. "Fine, but I'm staying in my sand form until we get to Divide Island. I don't want to start puking thanks to the Dragon Slayer sickness of motion..." Every time he got on something that didn't have a heart and it moved he got sick, this time he would simply remain in his sand form and float above the ship until they got where they needed to be. "Fantastic! Flashy even! But we are waiting for one other person. A woman from Fairy Tail if I remember correctly." Buggy said and pointed to his ship. "I gotta warn you though. The people we are dealing with are deadly pirates. They already stole the treasure map from me and are going to be there already. They might have even set a trap for us. Us if we aren't careful we could get caught off guard and really hurt." He added last second while drawing his daggers. "But I've seen what you two can do and with this lady from Fairy Tail coming along I know we can handle anything that the fat pirate throw at us!"

The weather over Hargeon Town was seasonal, being somewhat windy but the sun was still beating down on the pavement. The ocean waves were beating down on the shore, crashing down on the empty beaches. Lots of trains were pulling into the station. People from all over Fiore were navigating this place and it showed through the sheer amount of people in the station. Hikari sighed as she stepped off the train, stretching as she got out of everyone's way and moved a little to the side. She yawned whilst contemplating the events that led to her coming to Hargeon today. Apparently, Fairy Tail still got jobs from Earthland, even if their headquarters was in a different world. So, it was kind of odd to see job requests just be teleported onto the job board there, but when she saw this one, she kind of felt a little obligated to help. She glanced at the job request in her hand, as she looked around the port side town. Everything was unfamiliar as Hikari had been only been to Hargeon Town once and since she is still technically considered a dark mage, she wanted to get out of there the minute she could because of how much the magic council watched this area. She sighed as she looked at her whereabouts. She still had zero idea as to where the location that the job requester wanted her to meet with them.

Hikari then realized that on the job request poster, that it said specifically 'the bar near Hargeon's main docks'. After being disappointed with missing such an easy detail, she awkwardly walked along her way to the bar. The bar was actually pretty flashy from the outside so it made it more awkward that Hikari was unable to figure out where this was. When Hikari stepped into the bar, she sighed. Bars weren't really her thing due to her not liking alcohol, so she felt kind of awkward when she went to a bar, and men were tripping over themselves trying to buy her a drink. She looked around before she saw a man in the pirate hat from the poster and walked over to his table. That was where she saw a man who was drinking a surprising amount of whiskey, from what she smelt, at this time of day. She sighed as she sat down, hoping that the partner for her job wouldn't actually be a drunkard and that he was just drinking as he discussed the terms with this man named... Buggy? Hikari double-checked the job poster as she looked at the man in front of her. Really? His name was Buggy? She chuckled for a moment to herself but she smiled as she reached out a hand to the pirate. "Hello Buggy. I'm Hikari. I'm the Fairy Tail mage that accepted the job. Would you be able to tell me more about it now?" Buggy smiled, presumably because this was one of the nicest ways someone has treated him, without judging by appearance. Hikari usually gives people chances at how she treats them based on her first impression with them. As long as they don't try to flirt or tease her, they are good in her book. Buggy reaches out his hand and shakes Hikari's. She looks at him, totally invested as he explains the conditions for the job.

As the four leave the bar to go to the ship now that she was here, Hikari looked at the girl with the ram helm and the brunette as they walked along the docks. He hasn't really spoken since she's gotten there and she's wondering if she knows this man from anywhere. She sighs as they board the ship. Hikari sighed as she slowly got onto the ship shaking, her fear of boats coming into play. Boats are horrifying and no one can really convince her otherwise, as long as she is on a boat, she will literally to try not to move until land is within jumping distance. But since there were strangers trying to get on the boat as well, she gulped as she sat down on the boat, kind of shaking with fear as she just wanted this boat ride to end the minute it started. Her heart nearly jumped into her throat as the crew cheered as they set off. Even if it was really loud, the noise that the crew made just felt like white noise in her ears as she closed her eyes and imagined to be anywhere else but here. She sighed as she sat on the ship, wondering what the brunette male was doing since they seem to have parted since they got on the ship. There goes the person she would be working with and hasn't even met yet. Oh well, guess that the two can meet while they are in potentially life risking battles. In order to forget how they were on a wooden death trap, Hikari hummed to herself quietly a song that her mother used to sing to her. It helped her escape the reality that they were in and that was especially helpful for situations like this.

Mashyuu's powerful nostrils flared up when the smell of something pleasant entered the bar. He had grown used to Itsu's smell but the new one brought a smile to his face. It wasn't anything special but it didn't smell like fire or earth like the other women Mashyuu had been around since being brought back from the brink of death. No she smelled like a woman who had seen combat should. A beautiful, slender woman made her way to the seat next to Mashyuu and greeted Buggy, introducing herself as Hikari and going over the job at hand. The Earth God found it was a bit rude for her to not say anything to him, hell she didn't even greet him with her name. Mashyuu finished drinking the whiskey in his hand and slammed the empty glass down on the table then got up and walked out with the others. Itsu clearly sensed this anger as she followed Mashyuu and the others, watching everyone with a closed mouth. When Mashyuu glanced back at Itsu she gave him a gentle smile and hugged his arm, as if to tell him that things were going to be okay. The man rolled his eyes but patted Itsu's head and headed aboard the ship. He knew that this was gonna be bad, but luckily the trip would only take a few hours. He supposed he could handle a bit of motion sickness for the time being. Mashyuu leaned over the rail, Hikari in view of him just barely. As the ship lurched forward and the sail was dropped Mashyuu turned green in the face and ten minutes later he was puking over the side of the ship.

Unlike Mashyuu, Itsu wasn't bothered by the motion of the ship and actually really enjoyed the breeze and smell of the sea as the ship sailed across the water, easily chopping the waves that crashed into it as the vessel went on its journey. She looked at Buggy, standing behind the helmsmen who steered the ship. The Captain was doing his best to remember the route that was once plastered on the map he had before it was stolen from him. He shouted at the helmsmen for making fun of Buggy's big blue nose but Itsu couldn't help but giggle softly. He hadn't changed a bit since getting this big ship. She noticed Mashyuu who was puking but there wasn't much she could do to help him. However Hikari could indeed be helped. Itsu walked up to the woman and sat down next to her. The red haired woman's voice was beautiful as was the song that she sang. Itsu placed her arm around the young woman's shoulders and held her close. "Almost there. Hang on sweetie." Itsu assured the woman they knew nothing about and indeed the ship was about to make for land...

As the ship stopped and the anchors were dropped a single row boat was lowered into the water with a rope ladder above it. Buggy placed a set of daggers in his belt and draped his red cape over his shoulders. "Okay! Lets get my map back and find the One Piece in the most Flashy way!!" He shouted and climbed down the ladder as fast as he could. Itsu giggled and joined him while making sure the others would be okay. Mashyuu decided he couldn't wait to get off the ship any longer and ran for the helm of the vessel then jumped. He exploded in a puff of sand and landed on the shore of the beautiful Divide Island. While the island was massive, it was known that the land was split and had a river going through the middle of the island, slowly eroding it and splitting the place into two different lands. The beach was roughly twenty meters long then it turned to tall grass that looked like it was walked through maybe a day or so ago. Buggy's row boat made land while Mashyuu scanned the large island and sniffed the air. He could sense people all over the land but didn't say anything as Itsu and the others left the boat and joined Mashyuu on the Isle that had a ton of trees that kept the place cool under the hot sun.

Mashyuu put his hand out to stop everyone from moving in on the island and started to growl. The tall grass parted as a group of six small men with pots on their heads started to rush the group. They each held a pot in their hands and started to swarm the group. Mashyuu rolled his eyes and slid his foot back. "Take them!" He shouted. Mashyuu pushed his left hand out and muttered a command word. "Earth Gods Combo: Part One." Three pillars of stone launched out of the ground and smashed into one of the smaller men, launching him through the air with the force of his spell. Itsu rushed past Mashyuu and jumped up, sailing over the group while drawing her dagger from her boot. She whipped it around by the long metal cord on the pommel of the blade then lashed out, wrapping it around the short mans feet as he sailed through the air. Her feet planted on his gut and drove him into the ground. Her hand pulled back and she shouted. "Ghost Touch!" Her fist slammed into the chest of the man, knocking him out cold. Meanwhile Mashyuu drew his sword and let the weapon burst into a golden light. He aimed at two men who dared get closer to the Wizard and try to attack him. The God Slayer stepped to the side, then used his blade to deflect the strikes from the metal pots. "How boring. It's time to end this battle." He whispered while glancing at Hikari and Buggy to make sure the two were okay. Suddenly his sword flared up again with even more magical power and he lashed out. "Kings Cleave!" The blade cut through the chests of both men, it didn't kill them but knocked both men belly and face down into the water as if they were nothing more than rag dolls. "Okay Buggy, lead the way."

Hikari was snapped back to reality, her dream like state being quickly sprung to normal as she felt an unfamiliar touch drape across her body. She would have been startled as most of the people on this boat were men, who didn't seem to understand the concept of personal space, but the one who comforted Hikari was the girl that was with the man currently vomiting off the ship. It may have been unfamiliar company, but that doesn't mean it was unwelcome. Hikari smiled as the woman told her to fight on just a little bit longer, since they were almost at the island. As land slowly came into view, the uneasiness that the boat was plaguing her with seemed to lift off of her shoulders. She looked at the woman with the aqua coloured hair and thanked her, "Thank you for doing that miss. I haven't even introduced myself yet. My apologies, I must have forgotten..." Hikari reaches her hand out in greeting to the girl wearing the ram skull on her head, "My name is Hikari, and you are..?" The introduction was cut somewhat short as the sound of the anchor plummeting into the water made Hikari jump slightly, until that she realized there was land now. She chuckled at Buggy as he was jumping off the ship and the girl with the aqua hair followed. Hikari noticed the brunette male jumping off the ship, seemingly in a hurry. He was vomiting off the side of the ship for almost the entire ride, so she could see why he was in a rush to get off the boat. Hikari smiled as she made a magic circle appear underneath her, seemingly floating off the boat as the magic circle touched the beach, disappearing into thin air.

The island felt like a tropical wasteland. So much natural, unaffected beauty as far as the eye could see. No people inhabited the island except for those who came in search of the treasure but inevitably gave up and went somewhere else. The beach stretched for a good distance before breaking into tall grass, that look like it lead into a jungle. Hikari smiled at the sights in front of her. She'd never gone to an area like this and while she would love to be able to stay here and relax, there was a job to do first. It was at this point that Hikari would notice the men wearing pots on their head and seemingly angry. She looked at them questioningly, wondering what would lead them to wear pots like that on their head. When they started to swarm the group, Hikari unsheathed her sword, ready to fight alongside her new ally. In the moment she began to wonder what magic this brunette uses, he muttered some sort of spell and soon followed were three pillars of earth, that  knocked away one of the poor potheads. Hikari noticed the girl wearing the ram skull seemed to move as one, and without missing a beat, followed up and attacked the man who was launched from before. Hikari winced as the remaining men were attacked by a sweeping attack, and floating face down in the water. Hikari resheathed her sword and jogged over to the man, "That's some really unique magic you used there!" Hikari punctuated with a smirk at the man, "My name's Hikari. Pleasure to meet you-" Hikari paused, waiting for the man to respond with his name but Buggy seemed to have his own plan and called the crew and mages over to him to discuss what they were now to do. The enchanter, without thinking, grabs the earth mage's hand and pulls him over to where Buggy is now standing, making Hikari realize how much taller he is than her and she sighs, wondering if her height has peaked.

Buggy having a plan is not really what Hikari expected and she was hoping that she would be able to make the plan. According to Buggy, he remembered something key to finding the One Piece was in the centre of the island but when he was here before, one of his crewmates went to go scout in the jungle and never came back! It was a miniature horror story and it didn't sit that well with Hikari. So, they were gonna try to head to the centre of the island in one big group and with good reason too. The one's who stole Buggy's map seemed to have been here since yesterday since Buggy recognized seeing the flag of a ship. Blackstache, the one who stole the map, was a wanted mage known for using Cannon Make magic. Hikari thought to herself, what kind of magic could that potentially be? She didn't really have time to think as she had zoned out during Buggy's plan. She's not really that good at following orders as she usually likes to make her own and lead others. So this didn't really suit her. She tapped her foot as she waited, kind of in a state of childlike glee, wondering what the One Piece could be. It was kind of what every kid dreamed of, waking up and going hunting for a lost treasure that could have millions of jewels in it. Hikari thought of all the weapons she could potentially by before starting to walk with the group.

After about an hour, a lot of the group was exhausted with the walk. Hikari found it refreshing as she hadn't done anything this physical in a long time. Hikari stretches as most of the crew falls over, begging Buggy for a break. Buggy is panting and sweating heaps as well but seems to be motivated to get to Blackstache today. Hikari appreciated the enthusiasm and looked around, looking at the brunette and the girl with the ram skull, who seemed to have been talking to each other whilst walking. She shrugged and walked over to them, planning to start a small conversation. While Hikari was walking, she heard the sound of something whistling through the air. She looked up towards the sky and saw a twirling hammer on it's way to hit the brunette. Hikari stabs her sword in the ground and a magic circle appears, which makes it's way over to the hammer flying through the air. Hikari slices her sword and two halves of the hammer fly by the brunette male's head. The magic circle disappears as she lands in front of the earth mage, "Are you okay? I'm going to cast a spell on you since there is enemies fast approaching." Hikari heard the distinct sound of footsteps with all the nature in the jungle being crushed underneath them. "This spell will boost the damage of your spells. Just let me know when you activate it. It's on your command now." Hikari took the glove off of her hand and placed her index finger on his neck. He was unsurprisingly warm since the day grew longer and hotter as time went on. It was weird that she was touching a complete stranger. She placed a magic circle on his neck, tiny compared to the one she used as a platform earlier and infused magic into it. She began to speak, "Since the spell is enhancing your magic power, it waits for your command to activate it. So you can decide when you want the extra power at this point." Hikari smiled at him as she saw the attackers from before. The hooligans were holding a bag and every time they reached into the bag, it never failed to contain more hammers. It almost looked funny but it almost was until one of them threw four hammers and the other one threw three. Buggy had used his Dagger magic and knocked three out of the air with one spell. But that one spell seemed to drain him of a decent amount of his magical energy. Buggy's crew dispersed themselves so that they wouldn't get hit by the falling hammers. Hikari was prepared for the hammers as they came to her and slashed two with one slash. Smirking at the hammer throwing enemies, she smiled as she looked at the earth mage, ready for him to follow up.

"Hello Hikari, I'm Itsu. It's a pleasure to meet you on such a beautiful day." Itsu responded to her new found partner and kissed the beautiful girls cheek before bouncing off to get to the bottom of the ship and to the island... After the fight on the beach Mashyuu looked the girl next to him up and down and started to speak but was cut off when Buggy called everyone over. He found his hand gripped and tugged by the girl, he couldn't help but move with her so that she didn't know that he couldn't be moved by anything not as strong as he was. "So the plan is to get to the center of the island and hope this other guy hasn't found the treasure yet? Really Buggy... you couldn't have just said that without calling everyone together or like... I don't know. Tell us that when we were boarding the ship?" Mashyuu asked while he slid his weapon back into the scabbard on his hip. Itsu flipped her dagger around her forearm until the cord was wrapped up tight and the dagger rested in her palm comfortably.

While Hikari and Buggy walked together Mashyuu and Itsu stood on the flank of the large group that were walking to the center of the island. "The crew should have stayed behind. We have no idea what we are getting into with this guy. Cannon Magic? I can't expect to know how to handle that. We can't make sure everyone is safe in these conditions." Mashyuu whispered to Itsu. "Yeah well, these guys might help us find the treasure faster. We could use the help digging or you're gonna have to do it all yourself." "Or we could have cleared the isle then gone back for the group after words." There was a soft silence in the air as Mashyuu's ears twitched. He turned to face Hikari as they all walked when hammers came raining down from the sky. She and Buggy promptly made short work of the weapons then she removed her glove and touched the back of Mashyuu's neck. He audibly growled at her touch, knowing the goddess that was fueling his life force could go out of control when these types of magics were applied to him. He didn't say anything to her about it though, not wanting to upset her since she was indeed simply trying to help him out.

By the time Hikari had taken out the hammers Mashyuu's sword was drawn and his blade exploded with golden light as he aimed it behind him. "Kings..." The weapon launched him up the small hill that the hammer using pirates were on. He passed through the grass like a ghost moving through a wall then stopped suddenly at the side of the pirates, his blade pointed at their heads. "...Charge!" Excalibur unleashed a torrent of light that blew both men off their feet and sent them scrambling down the hill. Not wanting to waste real magical power on the fools before him Mashyuu placed his blade back in its scabbard and reached his left hand out to aim at the men. His blue light web bow tensed as Mashyuu took aim and pulled his string back. He aimed at the spot between the two men while Itsu pulled Hikari back in order to get her out of the blast range. "Sniper Elite!" He called out, then unleashed a massive magical arrow that slammed into the ground between the two men and exploded. The blast nearly knocked Mashyuu off the hill and sent the two bodies to either side of Hikari, out cold from the sheer force of the blast. He joined the group again and gave Hikari a look of concern and confusion. "You shouldn't wait for me to do something if you're so eager to fight. When you draw that blade be ready to use it. You're magic confuses me... And by the way. I haven't gotten started with using my magic yet beautiful. Wait and see." He had been forced on a boat and knew he would have to ride it back home, Mashyuu was not happy about it and wanted to break every limb on this Blackstache's body for making Buggy seek out the Earth God Slayer to surround him with water. Itsu patted Hikari's shoulder and apologized for Mashyuu. "He is normally a very kind man, but he doesn't like his friends getting hurt nor does he like water all that much. So he is just a little stressed. Forgive him. He doesn't mean to sound the way he does. I promise. Try to warm up to him, and I wouldn't cast any more magic like that on him. He has this... thing inside him and the spells that would aid others by making them stronger make it that much harder to keep the spirit in check. Last time he almost killed half his team in a mindless rage." Itsu explained while walking with the girl.

Mashyuu headed back up the hill and called out to the others. "Hey guys! I think that is the center of the island. Considering there are about ten pirates digging. No sign of Blackstache though!" He pointed across a small river where the island was split and on the other side, four men with pots on their heads dug while six men watched over the diggers to keep them safe from whatever would come on the island. Mashyuu could have gotten to the men quick, as could Itsu but he wasn't sure about how to get Hikari and Buggy, let alone the rest of the pirate crew. Mashyuu glanced back at the others and sighed. He didn't want to see anyone get hurt but he knew it wouldn't happen at this rate. There was no telling how many pirates were on the island.

Hikari was in somewhat of a distracted state after she got rid of all the hammers flying in the air. She was resheathing her sword, not really paying attention until she felt a pair of hand moving her. She was originally going to squirm out of the person's grap until she saw it was Itsu and that she was moving her so that she wouldn't get hurt. Hikari noticed the magical arrow and looked at it as it hit the two men that the brunette aimed for. Hikari was in awe at the capabilities of his magic. When Buggy called everyone to come back after they had dispersed themselves, Hikari heard the slayer call her out on waiting for him to fight. Normally, her cheeks would have been flaming at his innocent tease but she wouldn't relent with her teasing if that's the game he wished to play. She smirked at the light slayer and said, "I mean, after seeing how you wiped out the people on the beach, it was hard to not encourage you to fight. You are much stronger than me. It's pretty simple to tell just looking at you." Hikari winked at the man to emphasize her point before she felt Itsu's hand rest on her shoulder. She remembered the greeting Itsu gave her and felt a little flustered at the woman's touch but instead of being playful as she was earlier, she gave some insight as to why Mashyuu was like this at the moment, and she nodded her head in understanding. She can't really remember why she disliked boats. Probably cause she literally thought of the worst possible outcome as to what could happen while she was on the boat. When Itsu mentioned how Hikari should avoid casting magic that buffs his abilities on him, she remembered his initial reaction of how he had growled at her touch. At the time, she thought he was just acting rudely to her touch but now, it made sense as to why he didn't wanna have that magic cast on him. He didn't want to hurt those around him. Hikari felt a little silly, after all, she had seriously thought that the reason he didn't wanna get touched was because she was a stranger. He was a skilled mage, he knows that some spells require contact. She was mentally face palming herself. When the group continued to walk, she noticed it seemed like he was straining himself in order not to activate the magic circle. With a quick swipe of her hand, she moved the circle from him onto her neck. The magic flowed from him to her and no one really batted an eye at it. If it went all well, he shouldn't have noticed. But, for some reason, it seems like he notices the little things that happens.

When they get up the hill, surprisingly no one was really that tired and it seemed like most of the crew was more energized now that ever before. Perhaps the fight increased their morale when they saw how easy it turned out. Everyone in the crew and Buggy were surveying the area from the top of the hill, but only the Sabertooth mage seemed to notice where they were and how close they were to the centre of the island. As he pointed it out, Hikari seemed to notice how they were grouped up. The way they were grouped up, it was in such a giant cluster that it was a little unnerving. Until Hikari noticed what was surrounding them. There were barrels everywhere, and considering they were digging a tunnel, it was safe to assumed that there was gunpowder or explosives of some sort. An idea clicking into place in her brain and Hikari smiled. She had never done something like this before with her magic and she had a feeling that this would all work out. Hikari imbued magic in her glove and decided with to have a little fun with this, so she looked at the other mage, who still seemed to surveying the area, "Since you seem so interested in my magic, I'll demonstrate. Just for your eyes only..." Hikari smiled as her glove glowed a faint red as she finished enchanting her magic into it, "You know of enchanting correct? Consider my magic a branch of it." Hikari lets the glove go, and it flutters away in the breeze. The wind seemed to be in her favour as she continued, "I can imbue magic circles into whatever I please. Each circle has a varying effect." Hikari shows the mage the magic circle that was previously on his neck, "I can also move them from one place to another." The glove seemed to be carried by Hikari herself, as she pointed to its final location. With a couple seconds delay, the glove had landed on the head of one of the people who had been watching the potheads dig. Smiling as the group of pirates slowly became closer rather than spread out, she smirked a little wider as the group of pirates glanced at the glove in curiosity, wondering where it came from. Sitting down and brushing her hair out of her face, she looked at the magic circle on her hand, and activated the magic within it, she felt her magical power increase as she leaned back smiling at the earth mage. Since she loves being dramatic, she raised the hand with the glowing magic circle in it, near her face, and finished her explanation, "They can also be activated whenever I please." Hikari punctuated her sentence with a snap and there was an almost deafening explosion that came from where the diggers were.

Even though she was doing good at being cool, she still winced at the sound of the explosion. It was really loud. She was a little worried for the other mage as he seemed to have enhanced senses. Once the ringing in her ear stopped, she noticed her glove came flying back, as if carried by the explosion. She formed a magic circle underneath her and moved it over the flying glove. Smiling as she put it on, she looked at the victims of the explosion down below. Thankfully, they seemed to be living even if they were at ground zero. There wasn't too much gunpowder barrels so she was thankful that she didn't go overboard with her fire spell. Smiling at the Sabertooth mage, she made her way down the hill and scouted the area. That explosion was loud enough to lead every person into the area to where the smoke was coming from. Buggy's crew wasn't really paying attention as Hikari did her explanation so they were a little shaken up by the explosion, but when they saw Hikari heading down the hill, they had a feeling it was her doing at that it was safe. As the smoke cleared, they saw a cave that was revealed by the explosion. She was able to knock out two birds with one stone by taking out the enemy pirates and revealing the location of where the treasure could be. She forgot to consider if there were more pirates in the area however, as she heard the sound of a vulcan growing closer. She winced as she saw the beast jumping over the trees. Hikari braced her sword and was somewhat surprised as to what came instead of the vulcan. It was a barrel. Just a barrel that was being hurdled over everything. Hikari looked at it with surprise before she realized how fast it was coming. She unsheathed her sword and sliced at it, cutting the barrel clean in half. The halves of the barrel still made dents in the floor and she realized that she had to be a little more cautious of how she took on the beast. When the beast finally jumped into view, she recognized it. It was the famous vulcan that Blackstache was able to tame. How he was able to was beyond human thought but he had somehow managed to do the previously thought to be impossible act. It was so preposterous that even the vulcan itself was nicknamed Anomaly. Hikari looked at the vulcan, eyeing it from head to toe. She saw that it was wearing a red tie with initials on it. DK? Maybe it was Blackstache's true name? She didn't have much time to consider this however because she needed to dodge the punch that seemed to be going faster that she could see. She dodged it but felt the force of the wind from the punch. She was going to have to be very careful in order to get past this beast. She was preparing to attack it until she heard gunfire that was coming from Buggy's crew. She was worried as a lot of the crew weren't mages and Buggy seemed to have exerted himself getting rid of the hammers with magic, so he was reduced to simply summoning daggers and throwing them. Not sure if she'd be able to get to them in time, she hesitated, not knowing whether she should go into the tunnel because she had felt a breeze which could have lead to the other side of the cave or to help Buggy. She seemed split on the decision until Buggy yelled at her to go look for the treasure and that they'd be able to take care of it. Smirking as she looked at the earth mage. It was almost as though her eyes were saying, This should be child's play for you. You got this man. Hikari ran into the cave, feeling the wind blowing from the other side and the light at the end of it slowly getting brighter and larger.

Mashyuu's brow raised sharply as Hikari pulled off her glove and revealed her slender and bare arm, making Mashyuu's skin tingle with excitement and tension at the same time. He couldn't help but let his eyes wander for a moment while she explained her magic and a breeze carried the glove off to smack into a guards face. Mashyuu chuckled until the glove seemingly exploded, the massive blast took out everyone on the land but would be sure to draw the attention of others if the team didn't move fast enough. "Okay, neat trick but it's time to move. Itsu, get the others and lets get going." Mashyuu seemingly ordered.

As the group made their way to the tunnel, Mashyuu's ears tweaked and he twisted to see a barrel come sailing towards the group. Hikari moved and slashed the barrel in two halves, sending them crashing to the ground behind her at her flanks. Buggy claimed that he could deal with the Vulcan that had jumped from the trees, but Mashyuu and Hikari made eye contact that seemed to say everything perfectly. The Earth God ran to Buggy and gripped his shoulders. In a single seemingly effortless motion he threw Buggy towards the tunnel and shouted to Itsu. "Get everyone to the treasure, I'll catch up. This thing is mine!" He twisted to face the massive gorilla and cracked a wide smile, ready to do battle.

Mashyuu left the tunnel and walked out into the forest that was behind him. The massive Vulcan glared at Mashyuu and started to howl with rage and blood lust. The God Slayer tilted his head while his blue eyes lit up and started to glow. "Do it then, monkey." Mashyuu stated in a low tone. The white furred monster started to beat its chest then twisted to grab a barrel that was behind it. The beast pulled its arm back and hurled the wooden barrel at a high speed. The Earth God changed to sand and let the barrel pass through the sand form before Mashyuu became solid again. The barrel hit the door that was shut behind the others and caused the area around it to cave in, blocking Mashyuu off from the others. "Ughhh. How annoying..." The Earth Wizard groaned. He drew his long blade and watched as it flared to life with brilliant golden energy. "Okay buddy, now its just the two of us. You won't like what happens next."

Bare feet kicked off the ground, throwing up dirt and dust behind Mashyuu when he rushed the massive beast. The wizard started to zig and zag while the Vulcan started to hurl barrel after barrel at Mashyuu. Narrowly the Earth God evaded each attack and jumped up high into the air with his sword gripped in both hands, holding it over his head. Just as he came down the monster swatted its arm aside, smashing into Mashyuu's ribs. The blow sent Mashyuu flipping through the air while he winced in pain but barely managed to get his barrings mid air. The God Slayer pressed his feet to a tree as he went sailing and sprang off the tree. Mashyuu twisted and slashed his blade, dragging the weapon across the belly of the beast while Mashyuu passed the monster up and came to a tumbling land on the ground. The Earth Wizard spun around to face the monster after the brief exchange. He was surprised to see the monster already charging Mashyuu and ready to attack.

A massive arm cut the air and nearly took Mashyuu's head clean off his shoulder but the God like Wizard ducked and evaded a smashing strike. He slid to the side and sprang up, dragging his blade up. The monster jumped back and evaded the slash. This however led Mashyuu to his first spell of the battle. He pushed his hand forward and spoke. "Earth Gods Combo: Part One." Three pillars smashed into the back of the monsters knees, and pushed it forward back towards Mashyuu who was already jumping through the air and spinning with a kick. The attack smashed into the jaw of the monster and knocked it aside. The Vulcan staggered from Mashyuu's strike, it's jaw popped for a moment and tears welled up in it's eyes. The strike made the monster snarl with anger then it unleashed a sharp pair of claws that seemed to make the monster fly into a blood raged frenzy.

Slash after slash cut the air while Mashyuu used his enhanced Slayer speed to narrowly evade each strike. When he couldn't evade, Mashyuu used his blade to deflect strikes that had his hands throbbing from the vibrations the strikes sent through Mashyuu's sword. He needed to get some distance to regroup and plan out his next move. Mashyuu jumped backwards and landed in a three point stance. His hand that was pressed to the floor lit up as he spoke. "Earth Gods Explosive Field!" He whispered and caused the ground between the two to light up with a dim brown light. This would be a good way to keep the monster and him at a distance for a few moments. The Vulcan pressed a foot to the ground and the ground exploded under the monster, knocking it off its feet and backwards. The light died down for a moment then flared to life once more. "Stay down beast! I don't want to kill you!" Mashyuu called out.

Hikari wasn't surprised when she heard the sounds of the cave being demolished behind her, but was surprised to hear the sound of footsteps behind her. The cave was at risking of completely collapsing now so she was hoping that it could simply be her in here as she could move herself with a magic circle underneath. But, when she turned around she had saw Buggy and his crew following her. Now at this point, she had to consider the scenario that the other people were in. She sighed as Buggy and the crew increased their speed in order to catch up with her. She wasn't really concerned about how Itsu and the earth mage were going to follow them as he could probably manage to find a way to get around the road blocks along the way. But, the cave was now shaking and this was a problem at hand for the people in the cave. She saw the rocks from the ceiling begin to fall and she knew what had to be done. She placed her sword on the ground and a magic circle began to form underneath the group. She looked up at the growing light up ahead. The end of the cave was coming but with the speed they were going at, that entrance may collapse. As she thought about this, she saw a cannon ball hurdling towards them, "Duck!" she yelled as the crew followed suit. Based on the cannonball fading into pure magic, she had quickly deduced that the infamous Blackstache is up ahead. Buggy seemed to have noticed as well as he increased the speed that he was running at. The magic circle underneath them was finally ready and Hikari activated it. The circle was acting as a platform and it moved them to the other side of the cave. The crew and Hikari were able to make it out but then they heard a sound of cannons firing. The group looked forward and lo and behold, they saw the infamous Blackstache. He looked nothing like the picture. In fact, he looked kind of on the shorter side. Like, much shorter. The entire crew seemed to laugh at his short stature and that made him turn red with anger. The result of his rage was of course, summoning more cannons. Hikari looked at the short cannon outlaw and smiled. She put a hand in front of the crew who was ready to charge, stopping them in their tracks. Her hand was releasing magic energy as she faced the outlawed pirate in front of her,  "Don't worry. I'll take care of this one." Hikari playfully smirked at the man as she ran around the closed perimeter.

The battlefield gave her a tactical advantage due to it being somewhat closed off. She smiled as she dragged her sword across the ground as she ran around in a somewhat large circle. The pirate was laughing at her, wondering if she even knew how to use the sword given to her. Hikari inhaled, letting the negative thoughts leave her body as she continued to run around him. The trail from the sword wasn't really leaving any marks unless one was able to sense the magic circle slowly being created on the floor underneath her. She was hoping that the pirate would be so focused on taunting her that he wouldn't notice that she was creating a magic circle right under her feet. Then, she remembered his magic. Considering that he created cannonballs, it would be easy for him to destroy the magic circle due to the explosions on the cannonballs. Deciding that Tracing the circle would be a bad idea, Hikari snaps her fingers and a magic circle appears next to her, floating, and glowing with light. The circle was slowly taking magic energy from Hikari in order to create a doppelganger. Looking at the half traced magic circle on the ground, she dispels it but hears artillery cannons fire. Her eyes widen as she quickly moves to the side. The artillery shells explode and the shrapnel hits Hikari. It would have been a pretty damaging hit but thankfully it only hit her in her arm. Her arm was fine as it was merely a flesh wound. The pirate continued to make a mockery of Hikari as she placed her hands onto the ground. After a small chant, a giant magic circle appeared underneath them and Hikari smiled at the Cannon Make mage. She felt her magic defenses rising as the magic circle underneath her glowed with life. The pirate had a visible decrease in magic power as if the magic emanating from the circle was oppressing his natural defenses. Hikari smiles as she snaps her fingers as he is summoning more cannons. The magic circle next to her is emitting a bright light at this point in time and Hikari grins. She counts backwards from 3 and when she reaches zero, the magic circle releases a white flash, temporarily blinding the wanted pirate. Even Buggy's crew had to cover their eyes from the flash. Hikari smiled as she used this moment of weakness and ran up to Blackstache, in order to close the distance between them. With this, she would be able to finish him off.

By the time that Blackstache's eyes had adjusted to the lighting again, Hikari was in his face and now there were two of her. She grinned as he was forced to dispel his cannon because he would be caught in the explosion if he fired. Hikari ran her hand across her sword and her clone followed suit. Both of the swords glowed a faint blue colour and they slashed at Blackstache, their actions mirroring one another and being the perfect distance away to avoid slashing each other with their magic enhanced slashes. She smirked as Blackstache pulled out a pistol for situations like this. She had assumed that Cannon Make wasn't simply limited to cannons and mostly likely included guns of all sorts. It was her plan to make him summon a close range weapon. She smiled as she placed her hand in front of her, a magic circle appearing on her hand. When the bullet fires, she commands her clone to grab hold of the pirate. The clone slashes quickly a couple of times, hitting the man with magical sword strikes and then pounces on the man, holding him in place. The bullet hits the magic circle directly and this activates a shield surrounding Hikari. She smiles as her eyes glow a faint blue for a minute before she slashes through the pirate. He laughed at her loudly, thinking that the slash did nothing but it had left a glowing blue mark on his back. She turned to the man and whistled loudly. Immediately, the clone, the magic circle underneath them and the shield surrounding Hikari shattered, sending shards of the magic circle flying at the pirate. He tried to hit them with cannon balls but the shards were now focused on him. She smiled as the shards made contact, exploding with every hit. After the smoke had cleared, the nefarious pirate lied on the ground, completely knocked out by the tactic Hikari had planned. She smiled as she almost fell to her knee, at the lack of magic she had left in her body. She knew he was gonna be tough but she didn't think she would have to pull out all the stops to take him down. Now she was wondering when the Earth mage would come back. She smiled at the sky, as Buggy's crew started to make her way towards her. She wanted them to just let her rest and look for the treasure but they were nice people and weren't planning to leave her behind.

The Vulcan didn't really understand that Mashyuu was trying to show mercy after it was sent sailing. This caused the monster to fly into a rage! It raised its massive arms and screamed in anger while a massive barrel appeared between its hands and in its grasp "Oh.. You use magic. A giant monkey who uses explosive barrel magic. Why do I keep having to fight things that are trying to blow me up this week?" He asked after realizing he was dealing with a series of explosive experts. The Vulcan hurled the barrel at Mashyuu. The Earth God raised a wall of stone to try to cover himself from the barrel but the blast shattered his stone wall and blew his sword out of his hand, throwing it aside and out of his grip, leaving him without a real weapon to use in melee combat. The explosion blinded Mashyuu for a moment and he grasped his eyes and gasped when the Earth Wizard felt the Vulcan get in striking distance. A massive fur covered hand slammed into his abdomen, then into the side of his head before a foot drove hard into Mashyuu's chest, sending him sailing to the shore of the beach. Mashyuu landed hard, kicking up a sand cloud as his head lolled backwards into the sticky, almost mud like sand from the water. Blood flowed from Mashyuu's mouth as he coughed, his body rocked by the barrage of strikes the Vulcan slammed into the Earth God. Mashyuu's hands grasped the sand of the shore and he started to writhe in pain while trying to push himself up.

The Vulcan jumped up into the air and came down at Mashyuu, about to slam into him when Itsu returned to Mashyuu's aid by vaulting through the sky and driving her shoulder into the Vulcan's ribs, putting it off course enough that it landed at Mashyuu's side instead of on his head. "You bum. Get up so we can go help Hikari deal with Blackstache and get the treasure!" Itsu called out as she landed at Mashyuu's feet. The beast kicked Mashyuu's ribs and rolled him over then swung so hard through the air that it cut the air around its arm and nearly smashed Itsu in half. She had just barely managed to move back enough to evade the strike but the force of the swing still drew the air out of Itsu's lungs from the swing. Itsu drew a short breath of air and flipped her dagger into her hand to aim at the ground while she started to sway, doing her best to keep the monster at arms reach. She needed to keep the Vulcan at bay while Mashyuu recovered from the strike. "My turn to make the save for once. Resurrect." She muttered and the bone white armor on her rolled in on itself and moved down her arms. The horns on her helmet sprouted out and her green dress became a simple top as her bottom half transformed into that of a Centaur's. In her half beast form Itsu knew she was faster and could deal some good damage with a charging strike. She paced back while snarling. The raw animal like sound she made, drew the attention of the Vulcan who started to keep pace with Itsu but both moved away from Mashyuu who was still recovering on the ground. "Come on Earth, give me a pick me up." He whispered and started to absorb energy from the ground to seal a few of his wounds.

Itsu moved to evade a strike from the Vulcan and then took off in a dead sprint, galloping through the grassy part of the island, back to where Mashyuu and the monster had started their battle, the woman rounded a small hill and then charged as fast and hard as she could. The woman lowered her head and cried out. "Revive!" A second Itsu appeared at her side and both slammed hard into the Vulcan, knocking the white furred beast off its feet and into the ground. It used the momentum of the strike to roll up backwards and planted itself onto its feet. The monster formed a barrel in each hand and rolled them at the twin Itsu's, attempting to trip them. The two barrels rolled and smashed into the legs of the twins and exploded, one Itsu screamed and vanished while the other was sent stumbling as smoke raised off her body, and she nearly collapsed from the pain. She shuddered and drew deep breaths of air, the explosion rocked her body hard and shook her to her core. Her eyes darted around and caught sight of Mashyuu's sword, she could get it to him, assuming he was up at this point, but it would be a close move. That was when she saw it, the furious red light that flowed off Mashyuu when he was close to death and the Earth Goddess that kept his body alive took control to keep her host alive. "Fuck the sword." Itsu whispered and took off as fast as she could while the Earth God Jumped up and launched himself through the air. Mashyuu landed behind the Vulcan and wrapped his arms around the waist of the beast. He roared and lifted as hard as he could while leaning back. The force of his pure and enhanced Slayer strength toppled the monster and slammed it back onto its head hard. The blow dazed the monster like Vulcan. Mashyuu slid out from under it and grabbed the monster by the leg. Mashyuu dragged it by the leg and stopped at his blade. He picked up Excalibur when the scabbard on his hip activated. The healing effect gave Mashyuu control of his body again and he fell to both his knees then glanced back at the Vulcan. He cracked a sly smirk and picked himself up then called out. "Itsu! Come on, its time to find Hikari and finish this job!" The two reunited and started to make their way to the others...

To say she was exhausted was honestly an understatement as she felt so tired that she could pass out. Every step she took was sluggish, and seemed to get harder the more they trudged around the area, looking for where Blackstache had stored the treasure. She didn't care about the reward at this point and she just wanted a good place to rest. She has never used that much magical energy and in such a short amount of time, it really had a toll on her. She is very new to magic so just being able create a few magic circles a day was exhausting for her. But to use her new spells and activate Muramana on her sword, it felt like she was going to vomit. The crew seemed to notice but she put on her best front in order to seem fine to them. They wanted to push the issue more but they don't know Hikari that well and probably thought that she was fine. She had to use her sword to stop herself from toppling over as she walked. She chuckled to herself, thinking at how sad this sight was. A girl who was stumbling over herself, trying to walk straight and failing somewhat. She sighed as she squinted up at the sky, the sun causing a little head pain in addition to all her exhaustion. She sighed once again as they continued walking, which seemed to be an endless trail that lead no where. It felt like they were walking in a circle, or slower. Probably cause they were due to them not really wanting Hikari to fall behind too much. This made her a little self conscious of how she was acting. She stood up straight and walked faster past them, smiling. She turned on her heel to face them and yelled, "Don't slack now! The map could be nearby! We need to start looking." She smiled when the enthusiastically yelled, all of them hyped up for what is to come. She grinned as they kept walking even if every step of the way, her head begged her to stop.

After about thirty more minutes of searching, Hikari was still somehow conscious as the daylight got more intense. She had sworn they had left at noon and really didn't understand how it was getting more hot. She sighed for the umpteenth time as she held a hand to her forehead, shielding her squinting eyes to the sun. She praised whoever was out there when they found a cave that had Blackstache's supplies outside of it. The cave was pretty small and cool as they could see the end of the tunnel from where they had entered. Hikari stumbled her way into the cave, not really paying attention to where she was stepping and almost paying with her life each step that she took. She was getting sick of how her body has reacted to not having enough magic in it. This usually never happened before and she was starting to get a little worried. After all, if someone attacked them, it would be hard to defend herself and fight alongside the crew. She reached the end of the tunnel last and everyone was searching the makeshift shelter that Blackstache's crew had made. It was cozy, in its own odd way. There was a fireplace and a couple of tents sent up, showing that they had been here for a while. Hikari saw a giant tent and had a hunch that it was Blackstache's. She shuffled her way over to the opening of the tent and saw it was pretty well kept. The sleeping bag was in order and so was the all the valuables that were there. There was treasure chests full of so many things like gold, gemstones and other things like weapons. Hikari found all of it beautiful yet sad. The owners of all these items were stolen from and haven't seen their things in who knows how long. Granted, the owners may have gotten it through bad ways themselves but still. Hikari looked around the tent until her eyes fell onto a piece of paper that was hung up using some daggers. It was a map of the island and it had Buggy's initials on it. Hikari walked over and carefully took out the daggers, trying to make sure that the map didn't tear in any other places. She looks down at the map, trying to scan it. The map was fairly old as well, so it felt like it might crumble in her hand. Hikari walked out of the tent and saw Buggy approaching her. He was elated when he saw that she was holding the map. She smiled as she handed the map over to him. She didn't really know how to read a map considering she already had no sense of direction but she was happy to find it. Her head was still hurting and she was walking slow but she was determined to help Buggy see this through and get the treasure for him. After all, she was curious to see what the One Piece was.

When they left the cave, Buggy began navigating and Hikari smiled at him, seeing his happy face gave her a little bit of strength to go on. She heard footsteps coming but Buggy seemed a little to invested in the map to notice anything at the moment. She saw a Blackstache pirate grunt jump out of the bushes, attempting to cut the map. Hikari pushed Buggy out of the way and parried the attempted dagger strike. She grunted from the impact, even if normally she would be able to stop the hit without a problem. She was feeling heavily drained at the moment and the hit seemed to leave an impact even if it was a fairly light hit. She quickly dashed to the grunt and slashes at his legs and arms. He dropped the dagger in pain as he fell to the floor. Hikari sighed in relief as a wave of exhaustion rushed over her. She would have fallen straight onto her face but she stabbed her sword in the ground to keep her on her knees. This was kind of a low point for her. She felt helpless and doesn't like feeling that way. It makes her stress out about everything and she hates this feeling. She is panting, as she tries to catch her breath. She is wondering about the Earth mage, as if she should be worrying about other people based on the condition that she is in. She gets up with wobbly knees and stands up as straight as she can muster. She can continue trudging along but she isn't quite sure how far as of this moment in time.

Together, Mashyuu and Itsu walked to the tunnel entrance Mashyuu had collapsed behind Buggy's crew and Hikari. "Okay babe, stand back and let the injured guy work his magic." Mashyuu joked while pushing Itsu behind him to keep her safe. Both Wizards were fairly banged up after their battle but had some strength to spare, if Hikari hadn't beaten Blackstache by now, Mashyuu and Itsu could lend their aid and help out. Luckily, Mashyuu's scabbard had already gotten to work, slowly sealing his wounds but he was saving his magical power to either heal Hikari or help take down the Pirate who made cannons. Mashyuu waved his hands together then slowly split them, causing the cave in to lift up and move out of the door way, the rocks parting like a sea for Mashyuu and Itsu to pass through. Once the rubble was cleared, Mashyuu picked up a hefty stone and started to eat it like it was an apple. He said nothing as the two started to make their way down the halls that led to Hikari and Buggy.

"Do you think she's okay? I know I should have followed her but I didn't think you could take the Vulcan on your own." Itsu admitted. Mashyuu's glowing blue eyes glared at her while he pulled what was left of his shirt off to reveal his brown Sabertooth guild stamp on his chest. "Do you know what this means? It means that each of us are as strong as ten other Wizards from any other guild. I had it under control. I told you to go with Hikari because she is a new Wizard. You seriously couldn't sense her lowered magical power? Buggy is with her but still, he is barely a Wizard at all. That poor girl could be really hurt right now. Or worse, dead. Do you know who's fault that is? It's ours. I trusted you to do the right thing Itsu...." Mashyuu snapped, as he finished speaking he realized what he had said could be very true, Hikari could be dead. He swallowed a dry lump in his throat and started to run down the hall, leaving Itsu in the dust. His heavy foot falls took him far and fast down the stone halls until he came to a clear battlefield. He slid to a stop and took a long look around. It looked like the area had been beaten to hell and then some, this gave Mashyuu paused and left him wondering how the area had remained standing if so much damage had happened inside the cave. In the middle of the battlefield was a short man in black, laying face first in the ground, barely breathing. A flare of anger welled up inside Mashyuu while he also felt a bit of relief. At the very least he could say that the woman, Hikari had made it past whoever this was. Mashyuu walked to the man, anger flowing through him as the God Slayer picked the man up by the hair and looked him over. Mashyuu held the man high in the air, or as high as the stone tunnel would allow. It looked like Blackstache but his limbs were noticeably shorter. Like he had been shrunk down, was he always this short? It didn't matter. Mashyuu swung the man around as the God Slayer twisted his body, and slammed the short man into the wall of rock at his left. "Cute girl with the sword! Where is she?" He shouted, demanding to know what was going on. The pirate, who was still dazed laughed and pointed down the hall. Why was he laughing? Did he wound her to the point that she might not live? Were there more pirates? There wasn't time to wait and find out. Mashyuu drove his fist into the bridge of the man's nose, breaking bone and knocked him out yet again, then Mashyuu went in the direction the man pointed, desperate to find Buggy, Hikari and the crew.

Light continued to show that Mashyuu and further behind, Itsu, were nearing the end of the tunnel. Up ahead Mashyuu saw a man drawing a hammer from a bag, looking further down the tunnel at someone else. He couldn't risk that the man was going to attack Hikari. With his blade still in the scabbard Mashyuu's right hand gripped the hilt of his sword, thumb facing up, towards the end of the hilt as he started to draw and used his slayer speed to move in a blur. "Single sword style: Shishi Sonson!" He shouted, cutting the leg out from under the man with his blade, cutting muscle and flesh without removing the limb. Mashyuu never finished drawing his blade with the slashing draw of his blade, instead, he came to a stop in front of the man and pushed the sword back into the scabbard, as it locked into place the man groaned and fell to the ground in a single motion. "Hikari!" Mashyuu shouted, his body flared up with golden light to signal that it was indeed the Earth Slayer who saw the woman and pirate crew. The beautiful Wizard was stumbling with her blade on the ground like a cane. Mashyuu shook his head and extended his hand out before him, creating a tall, smooth stone walking stick.

Without another word he walked up to her and hand put an arm under hers to support the woman. "Put the sword away, take this stick. Are you hurt?" He asked while handing her the walking stick and fishing on his belt. Being a member of Sabertooth meant you never went anywhere without a little help from the guild in some way and as such Mashyuu pulled a small potion off his belt and handed the liquid to Hikari. "Here, this will restore some of your magical power. It's not perfect but it should help. You found the map I take it? Buggy, lead the way and I'll find the treasure with my earth Senses. Itsu is up ahead, the way is clear."

When Hikari heard Mashyuu yell her name, she winced a little as the headache that she had persisted as she tried to stand once again. She felt very lightheaded and was getting a little worried that she could pass out at this point, so hearing someone yell her name didn't really help the situation. She put a hand to her head and sighed as she looked at the Earth mage use his magic and create a stone cane for her to walk with. She smiled gently at him as he approached him and gladly took the cane. She sheathed her sword, finally being put in its rightful place rather than being stabbed in the ground with each labouring step that she took. She smiled as she felt how sturdy the cane was as she placed it on the ground, it was a lot more reliable than the sword and then she felt his arm snake around her in order to support her. Her face turned red at the non-requested support and she looked at him, his face surprisingly close to hers right now. The way he was supporting her was obviously the best way to supporting the lightheaded enchanter but she honestly expected him to not treat her as if she was a friend. He seemed quite hostile on the way to the boat and after boat ride as well. She was thinking at this he got a potion from a belt. There was a mysterious blue liquid inside of it, and it looked like there was magic swirling around it. She took it in her hand and it felt somewhat warm. Normally, she would be suspicious of strangers (essentially) giving her odd liquids but once he said it could restore her missing magical energy, she opened the potion quickly and chugged it, hoping that there wouldn't be an after taste. It was tasteless, similar to water and after a few seconds, she had felt her headache fade and her vision wasn't as blurry. She didn't want to rush her recovery so she didn't really want Mashyuu to stop supporting her. After all, he was really warm to the touch. She looked at his face, beaming, "Thank you so much."

Hikari was walking with the cane and she smiled as Buggy's successful years of navigating had them lead to them to the approximate location of where the treasure was buried. Apparently, Buggy had looked at the map so many times before it got stolen, the place where he had docked the ship was in the area of the treasure. Hikari sighed loudly, trying to make it obvious her disappointment when she untangled herself from Mashyuu. She was walking fine at this point, but she wasn't quite sure if he noticed at this point. The crew was groaning as they complained about not needing to fight the men at the center of the island, but Hikari deadpanned at them, wanting to call them out on not doing anything but decided against it. The pirates started digging and Hikari was planning on interjecting once again, wanting to state that Mashyuu could easily use his magic to unearth the treasure. But thinking that brought a thought to her mind: if it was near the beach they had docked at, why hadn't Mashyuu sensed it underneath the sand? She contemplated for a moment but remembered how disoriented he was from the boat ride and how he immediately fought the pirates on the beach, not focusing on his surroundings as much. She sighed as the pirates continued digging, until one claimed that they hit the treasure chest. She got excited and moved over to be in view of the treasure chest. The pirates hauled it up onto the sand, plopping it down near the water. She looked on with excitement, curious as to what this mysterious One Piece was. After all, it was apparently sought after by most of the world. When the chest got cracked open, Hikari looked inside, looking past all the jewels and then wore a scowl on her face. This One Piece... was literally a one piece swimsuit. Sure, there was jewels part of the reward. But, still, this was a real let down. Buggy handed it to her and the swimsuit changed colour to match her hair. Is this why it was sought after? Hikari sighed as she took the swimsuit, despite her complaints and walked in the direction of the ship, angrily kicking sand on her way. At this point, the boat ride was the only highlight of her day as it would be the thing taking her home. She sighed as she walked towards the boat.

It was true that Mashyuu's face was close to Hikari's mostly because he was worried about her and wanted to keep a close eye on her pretty face to make sure that she kept her spirits up. If something happened to her, either her legs would give out or her face would twist in a bad way, giving him a sign that she was going to fall. Still his large hand held her side as he wrapped his arm around her to support the slender sword woman. "I'm really impressed that you managed to beat Blackstache by yourself. Heh, a woman after my own heart." He half joked with the beautiful woman. The group started to walk and Hikari chugged the potion like it was life force. "Yeah. It's no problem, they make you take these when you come straight from the Sabertooth Guild Hall. But being an Earth Slayer and Light Slayer I sort of absorb sunlight naturally and keep my energy up that way, then when I don't have any direct light I can eat stones to keep myself powered up." Mashyuu explained while their foot steps carried them through the tunnel. Eventually the group came upon Itsu who was sitting on the dirty ground with her head in her hands. "Itsu, Hikari is fine. Pick yourself up, we are almost done with this job." Mashyuu said in a stern tone. The man walked past Itsu and the green haired woman slowly lifted her head to show she had been crying before the group came to her side. Hastily, Itsu rubbed the tears off her face and smiled at Hikari as she walked by then stood up, finding a comfortable stride at the side of Buggy. Itsu couldn't help but turn her gaze to Mashyuu and Hikari, feeling like she failed them both.

Mashyuu walked with the group outside and followed Buggy and his crew back to his own ship where Mashyuu started to grumble alongside Hikari about the entire situation. If it was up to him, the Earth God would have buried Buggy ten feet under ground and left him there for a few days just to freak him out. Sadly that would mean that the Wizards wouldn't get paid and as upset as Buggy's crew was, Mashyuu was sure he would have to fight them if he put their captain under ground for more than a few moments. Mashyuu sighed and sat on the beach while Buggy's crew stomped around the area. Before he hadn't noticed the box due to the fact that everyone was clumped together but with everyone spread out the God Slayer could effectively see where the chest was. He glared at it with his glowing blue eyes while some random pirate hobbled over and started to dig. The Pirate shouted about hitting something and Mashyuu glanced over at the women with a smirk on his face. "It would have taken me a half minute to pull that thing out of the ground. There is a ton of stuff under the sand and in the earth but without the map I wasn't sure what was what." Mashyuu explained to the women. Hikari moved to see what the treasure was while Mashyuu simply watched everyone else swarm. He had found this treasure once before, years ago and simply buried it again, but hell, he wanted to see if someone had taken the swimsuit and replaced it with something else.

It was clear as day that Hikari was pissed about the treasure only being a swimsuit that changed color. Honestly, Mashyuu had been upset about it the first time too but he didn't storm off the way Hikari was. Itsu had already returned to the ship but Mashyuu stood up and intercepted Hikari before she could get on the ship. "Hey, you should take that. Even if you never wear it, you will want trophies of the jobs you did. To remind you of the mistakes you made, the success you had and the friends you make. Sometimes even the enemies that haunt you. You never know when your memories will fade, and you would be surprised at what might jog your memories." The Earth God advised the Sword woman with a smile on his face. "Let me apologize to you for the way I acted earlier.I know you're a newer Wizard and I was afraid to see you get hurt. I'm glad you came with me on this job and I really couldn't have done it without you. Hikari..." Mashyuu extended his large arm to grasp her forearm in a brother in arms like hand shake. "..You will always have a friend and partner in me, if you ever need anything, you can find me at the Sabertooth guild hall." Gently Mashyuu placed his hand on the small of her back and walked the woman up to the gang plank of Buggy's ship. "This is where we part ways. I'm gonna travel in sand form back across the sea and head home. Itsu will go with you to make sure you get to land and you don't get sick or anything. Good travels my friend and don't do anything I would. It might get you killed." Mashyuu joked with the woman and watched as she boarded the ship with Buggy and his pirates...

The sun started to set about an hour after the pirate ship left and Mashyuu found himself sitting on the beach alone, watching the sun turn orange and the water change to an emerald color as the sun's rays reflected on the sea. He smiled wide and glanced over his shoulder at the island behind him. Blackstache was locked in stone gauntlets Mashyuu had made and at his flank, a Rune Knight ship was anchored with five soldiers were taking the man to prison where he would face a trial for piracy. Mashyuu stood up and dusted himself off of the sand that was stuck to his body. "You guys are good over here?" Mashyuu asked while waving over to the Rune Knights. "Yup! We have things under control. It's good to have you back Mashyuu, good luck and safe travels." One of the knights shouted. Mashyuu raised his hands up to the sky and a pillar of sand launched Mashyuu high into the dusk sky before he exploded into a cloud of sand and let the wind carry him back towards the mainland.
