"So you want me to play matchmaker?"
How had it come to this? Honestly, Vajra was not entirely sure of the details herself. One moment she had been strolling along the street, minding her own business. The next she found herself pulled into this alleyway by a random man, babbling away about needing some help. Normally being pulled into an alleyway without any warning would have resulted in the perpetrator lying on the ground, surrounded by his own blood. Vajra was not one for surprises and such an act would almost seem like an attack. Truthfully, she had almost reached into her pocket and extracted the small rock that she used to defend herself nowadays. Even now she fingered it in her pocket, rolling the sharpened stone between her fingers.
But the man had strangely quick to explain. He had picked her out because she was gorgeous, a fact she already knew, and that she could be exactly what he needed to pull off his plan. Apparently he was in love with this woman, who was in love with another man. Jealous had taken a firm hold of him and now he simply couldn't rest until he had her. But the other man was the very epitome of masculine, everything this muttering, leery-eyed fool was not.
"No, no, not at all. I'm the matchmaker, you're the tool." He snapped at her, waving his hands around.
Her smile seemed to widen but there was a wickedness to it now."Call me a tool again. Please." She said softly, her voice oozing villainous intent.
The man got the picture. "Not what I meant, no offense intended, I assure you madam. Please just...listen to my plan."
