Primary Magic: Dark Écriture (Law of the Witch)

Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Dark Écriture is a type of “Letter Magic”, by writing out magic Runes, the User can cause different effects. What he or she writes become Law. The user can use it to not only trap enemies, but also make certain conditions in order for them to exit, however, the user cannot trap them forever. The User can also make the opponent feel certain emotions, by magically writing the emotion or feeling on their body. A upside to this effect is that the User can be up to 5 meters away when writing the rune. However, single word runes such as Emotions/feeling will only take 1 or posts. Trapping runes, which take sentences or sometimes paragraphs, require sometimes 3 to 5 posts.
Strengths:
- can be used to block, attack, and trap enemies
- can make allies fight each other
- can trap as many people that can fit in a Rune
- Can gives buffs to them selves and allies, I guess enemies too but why would they want too?
- they can’t get smudged
Weaknesses:
- The trap isn’t forever
- takes time to make a Rune
- If in dark form for too long, will get stuck that way (Jk they will just die)
- the runes themselves last for a short period of time.

Type: Dark letters
Description: This is one of if not the only spell that does not require writing. The User themselves turns into hundreds of little Rune letters and is instantly teleported to another location of the Users choosing.
Strengths:
- no writing needed
- happens with in seconds
- moves the user out of the way of the attack
Weaknesses:
- If in battle, the User cannot go out of a 20 foot radius of where he or she is already at.
- cannot attack while teleporting
- 3 post cool down

Rank: D
Type: Dark letters
Description: The User Writes out the word “FEAR” and thrusts it at the Opponent, trying to hit them. The opponent, if hit, then becomes confused and scared. They then cannot attack for the next 2 posts. They cannot block either, however the user can still miss.
Strengths:
- the opponent, if hit, cannot block or hit
- the user can attack while this spell is active on the opponent.
- accuracy can be impacted by the lineage “Marksmen’s Aim”
Weaknesses:
- It takes 1 post to write it
- The user must be with in a 5 meter radius of the opponent.
- The attack its self does no real “damage” to the opponent.
- lasts 2 posts.

Rank: D
Type: Dark Letters
Description: The User Writes out the word “PAIN” and thrusts it at the Opponent, trying to hit them. If hit, the opponent experiences 3 shocks of D-rank damage per post, for 3 posts. The opponent can still attack and block other attacks, but that will not stop the pain.
Strengths:
- up to 9 D-rank damage shocks of pain
- the User can go as far away from the opponent for the shocks to continue, after the opponent is hit that is.
- the user can use other attacks while the
- accuracy can be impacted by the lineage “Marksmen’s Aim”
Weaknesses:
- It takes 1 post to write it
- The user must be with in a 5 meter radius of the opponent.
- lasts 3 posts.

Type: Dark Letters
Description: The User wrights out the words wings on their back. They then are given wings made out of dark energy. These not only permit them to fly, but they also give the user an evasiveness boost. (OCC: if using Dice, the user can use 2 block dice or 1 attack, instead of 1 for 1)
Strengths:
- the user can fly
- the user is immune to ground effect magic
- the user is more evasive
Weaknesses:
- sky/arial attacks are harder to dodge In the air
- if in the air when the spell wears off, they fall to the ground
- the wings last for 3 posts
- 5 post cool down.

Rank: D
Type: Trapping Rune
Description: The user writes the words “Law of Imprisonment”, and traps the opponent. The opponent trapped cannot use D-rank spells while trapped in the Rune. The trapping will not affect ranks higher then B, but:
D-rank: trapped for 3 posts
C-rank: trapped for 1 post
Strengths:
- the trapped cannot use magic that high D-rank or lower.
- traps D rank for 3 posts
- traps C-rank for 1
- the user can still use magic to attack the enemy.
Weaknesses:
- the Rune around the opponent is 10 feet by 10 feet, giving them plenty of room to dodge incoming attacks
- Holy magic can destroy the runes
- the user cannot use other “Law” spells unless they want to cancel out this one.
- will not work on B-rank or higher
- 4 post cool down

Rank: D
Type: Body shift
Description: While the user is in DARK BODY form, they can make their nails shook out to up to 15 feet long, trying to impale the opponent. Each nail does weak weapon damage, 10 nails total.
Strengths:
- 10 nails total means 10 attacks
- can attack multiple enemies
- each nail does weak weapon damage
Weaknesses:
- can be stopped by strong or higher shields
- cannot cut through bone (but can cut through flesh)
- can only be used when in Dark body form
- can be used once per transformation (can be used again once cool down for DARK BODY is over)

Rank: D
Type: Illusion Rune
Description: the user writes the words “Law of the Suffering”, and a Rune will form within a 20 meter radius of the user. All Enemies in the Rune will experience an illusion of watching their most painful memory. Whether it be a devastating loss, betrayal, watching someone die, a funeral, anything that they consider the most devastating moment of their life will be replayed for them for a total of 3 posts.
Strengths:
- The opponent is so distracted that they can only roll 1 attack die and 1 block die per post
- The user can use other spells while this is active
- Enemy is forced to watch their most painful memory
- It’s an illusion inside of their head, so if they close their eyes or cover their ears, they will still see and hear it.
Weaknesses:
- The opponent can still attack and doge 1 time each per post
- The user cannot use other “Law” spells unless they want to cancel out this one.
- Lasts 3 posts

Rank: C
Type: Dark Letters
Description: The user writes the word, Reflector, in front of them when an attack or spell is thrown at them. The attack then is sent flying back towards the enemy.
Strengths:
- is defensive
- is offensive
- reflects any C-rank spell
- can reflect weapon damage
Weaknesses:
- only works on C-rank or lower spells/ strong + weapon or lower weapon damage
- any higher will break through the reflector
- lasts for only 1 spell
- 4 post cool down

Rank: C
Type: Dark Fire Rune
Description: The user creates a Rune around the whole battle field. 4 times a post, each enemy inside the rune will get a black/fire meteors thrown at them, each meteor causes half a C-rank attack (the equivalent of 1 D-rank attack) meaning each post the opponent takes 2 C-rank damage if hit all 4 times.
Strengths:
- 4 times per post
- can = the same amount as 2 C-rank spells
- can use other spells while this is active
- by the time it is over, has the possibility of causing 8 C-rank spell damage
Weaknesses:
- water magic can protect
- each meteor can be dodged
- can be stopped by shields
- the user cannot use other “Law” spells unless they want to cancel out this one.
- each hit only does half a C-rank attack (so D-rank damage per hit)
- lasts 4 posts
- 5 post cool down

Rank: C
Type: Dark Body
Description: The User Quickly Writes the Words “DARK BODY” on his or her chest. The User then Begins to grow until every attribute about their body has changed, from appearance, to strength and speed. Their strength is increased by 75%, there speed in increased by 70%, yet decreases you evasiveness by 20%.- Spoiler:
- Speed and strength
- become stronger, better, faster, quicker.
- The user can run up to 45 mph
- The user can lift 3 times her own weight.
- D-rank damage and weak weapon damage are healed.
Weaknesses:
- Can only use Spells designated for DARK BODY
- decreases evasiveness by 20%
- lasts 5 posts
- 6 post cool down

- Name: Dark Body: Energy Cannon
Rank: C
Type: Dark Body
Description: While the user is in the “Dark Body” state, they can lift up their hands, taking in some of the dark energy around, aka shadows, and forms a ball about that is 8 feet in Diameter. The user then sends the blast of energy towards the opponent, hoping to land an attack, causing Strong weapon damage, and second degree burns.
Strengths:
- causes Strong weapon damage
- causes second degree burns
- the ball is 8 feet in Diameter
- can break through weak armor.
Weaknesses:
- C-rank or higher light magic will destroy it
- can only be used once per Dark body state
- requires shadows
- can be used once while in Dark body state, however can be used again once the user has gone out of DB state, and then back into again.
