"Well, here we are." Morgan stood outside the hall of Fairy Tale, clutching the map he had used from his parent's summer home to get here after that little episode. He was extremely nervous about what the guild members inside were going think about some stranger standing outside the building and blinking back tears. His heart beat in a steady rhythm while his hands were growing sweaty with anxiety. "It's okay. You can do this. Just...march in there and tell them that you mean business!" The boy fussed to himself in that feminine, soft voice of his. His feet would gain a small boost of self confidence and begin to carry him all the way towards the front door...before stopping right in front of the royal border. The feelings from before came to haunt him yet again, doubt plaguing his mind as his hands would begin to shake in anticipation from the looks and worry he would most likely get. Maybe his parents were right. Maybe this was all just so silly that he just wanted it because. He had little in terms of magic and he probably would be the worst mage ever. Morgan let their last words run through his head.
'You'll never be as strong as they are.'
'Nobody will take you seriously as a mage.'
'Why can't you just be normal?'
Morgan bit his plump lips at the thoughts while his hands balled hard enough to turn his knuckles a pale white color. No. They weren't his parents. They weren't his family. Blood didn't decide you were or who you loved. You chose your own family. The doors to the guild hall were pushed open as the boy would stand before them, blinking back tears and speaking with all the confidence he could muster.
"Ah-I wanna...join and help the guild, please..."
