In the middle of the evening, as the sky burned with an orange tint, the sound of church bells rang out and capture the attention of nearly every person in Rose Garden. It was not the alarm of an approaching service, but rather the beautiful banging of wedding bells that filled the air. The bells were made to be extra loud that evening as the wedding was not of the ordinary; it was, instead the wedding of an ambassador all the way from Bosco. The man had apparently met his lover there in Fiore sometime ago, brought her back to his home country, but reluctantly gave in when she desire to be married in Fiore. She had even chosen the town herself, supposedly because it is where she was born and raised. It was a sort of testament to where she had come from and where she was to go.
Almost everyone in the bright, lacrima-lit city had been invited to the occasion; in fact, it seemed to be that letters telling who could not come were rarer than the letters of were allowed to partake in the event. A myriad of figures would be there as well, including Bosco politicians as well as the mayor of the city who was of the mindset that the spectacular marriage would be a great occasion for tourism boom. It was truly a beautiful moment, even if political interest were at play. It seemed that nothing could go wrong on that day which love was supposed to be dominant.
