Special Characteristics: Not a physical trait, but they're asleep 99% of the time. They are still aware of what is going on around them, but their eyes are closed and they are asleep almost all of the time. Essentially a nigh-permanent form of sleepwalking.
Personality:
*Outside Battle: Outside battle, Alex loves to be alone. They aren't a loner, emo, or any of that type of stuff, it's just that people disturb their sleep so much. So, Alex wants to be alone as much as possible. Alex, when around people, is quite friendly, but cynical at the same time. They can easily make witty retorts and snarky comments when they want to, and always have combacks to whatever people say, much like Mercuccio from Romeo and Juliet. Other than their wit, Alex is a kind soul people can speak to, and often puts themselves forward as the person to talk to, so long as you aren't loud and obnoxious. It may not come as a shock, but Alex is extremely lazy. They'd rather laze about and do nothing all day than be forced to work. Alex IS an adept worker and does put full effort into anything they do, however it is simply getting Alex to do something that is the problem. Also, strangely, Alex might sometimes mistake dream for reality, and speak to others as if they were characters in a dream, and temporarily forget all affiliation with everyone. Alex would look crazy when this happens, or at least childish, yelling about the floor literally being lava, or trying to do stuff when necessary components aren't there, but this isn't often as dreamland and reality are two different places most of the time. Most. So this was for Alex's sleeping time, when awoke Alex becomes the most antisocial person around. Not because, again, they just hate people, but instead Alex is used to the "half-conscious" perception of reality they normally have, and the overload of senses is too much, even enough to scare them into a panic attack. Too much sounds, sights, feelings, all of that. There is a reason that it is almost impossible to wake Alex up, even through pain or cold water or loud noises - those just irritate the crap out of them.
*Inside Battle: In battle, Alex is as on-their-toes as someone awoke would be. They aren't an adept fighter, having never taken lessons nor ever tried to specifically fight people, but Alex can use their sheer knowledge to attempt to overcome the enemy or enemies. Exploiting weaknesses is Alex's forte. In battle to their opponents, it may appear that Alex has a fight style similar to "The Drunken Warrior," when it is quite true. Wobbly, drowsy, and somewhat off balance, yet still nimble is how Alex fights, but mostly because their sleep weighs heavier on their body when using their magic. However, they are definitely NOT some martial arts master.
*As a leader: As a leader in battle, Alex attempts to put their tactician mind to work, as that is the position they love the most. Alex tries to be more attentive, gain more information, and work their witty and intelligent mind to get everyone on top with no one left behind or on the bottom. Victory is always key, but victory is sweeter when everyone can enjoy it. As a leader in regular jobs that require no combat, Alex doesn't really care, so long as the job gets done. Alex would rather put everyone on the same level, with no one as anyone's "leader," because there'd be no point.
*Under a Leader: Having Alex as your underling is probably one of the worst things you could have. They are SO LAZY, that they won't wanna do anything. It's strange how in one instance, Alex being the leader, they try so hard, but when they're under a leader, they want to do next to nothing. Either way, Alex will eventually do all that is told, and with extreme efficiency as well, but as previously said, it is just GETTING Alex to do stuff that is the problem.

*Peace and quiet: If you're gonna be asleep all the time, you need quiet.
*Good dreams: Pretty self-explanitory. Alex perfers sweet dreams over nightmares any day.
*Painting: Oddly enough, Alex loves to paint. Using their auditory perception they paint with as much efficiency as possible (although it normally turns out terrible)
*The sound of nature: The sound of nature is the most natural lullabye out there. Birds chirping, wind blowing, all of that soothing stuff.
*Witty remarks: Alex is a pretty smart person, and that's not smart meaning only "intelligent." They're pretty cynical, and love to battle wits with others.
*Spanish Guitar: The most heavenly sound crafted into existence.
*Strategy, Chess, Tactics: War games has always been fun to Alex, and Alex constantly tries to put themselves in the position of tactician when actually in battle.
Dislikes:
*Hard surfaces to sleep on: Nothing is worse for your back than a bed that is literally as stiff as a board.
*Alcohol: Alcohol is a source of memory loss, loss of life, and other things including "loss." Alex doesn't like losing things, nor do they like the taste.
*Rap music / Hip hop /Dubstep : Loud, annoying music with too much strange noise and profanity. Just... Bad.
*Being awoke: Being awoke is the worst feeling to Alex. They become even more perceptive to the world around them, including sounds, sights, and smells. While to most that's good, to Alex because of their nature of being comatose, it's overwhelming.
*Wetness: Anything wet that comes in contact with their skin. Too sudden of a sensation and is annoying to deal with.
*People that don't stop talking: It's so annoying when you're just minding your own business, then someone tries to make conversation. After a while, you try to end it but they just won't... Shut... Up...

*Eternal peace: Not like death or whatever, but Alex just simply wants to reach a time in the world where they can just laze about and do nothing
*In it for the money: More so focused on magic because they need to provide for themself, Alex doesn't really have a moral code. They just want money to live, and would rather get it through legal means than illegal means

*Creating an art exhibit: While others may not exactly like their art, Alex wants to have their paintings on display. It would be an accomplishment they've wanted since childhood.
*Reputation: Alex wants reputation, not to have the paparazzi all over them or to be famous wherever they go, but just to have the knowledge that everyone on the planet knows who they are.

*Athazagoraphobia (fear of forgetting things): As Alex lives almost entirely in a state of dreaming, and that dream is their "reality," forgetting anything could be detrimental. Irrational, but true.
*Expergefaciphobia (The fear of literally waking up): This one was adopted by Alex over time. Alex has grown so accustomed to the comatose lifestyle that the period of waking up, and being awake, until they fall asleep again, terrifies them.
*Blennophobia (fear of slime): This is more of, for Alex, the fear of anything gooey and slimey, or anything that feels that way. It's disgusting and feels terrible.
*Phonophobia (fear of loud noises): This one is strange, because most of the time not even loud noises, or even pain for that matter, cab wake Alex up. This however is more of a fear of SUDDEN loud noises, that'll easily get Alex shaking in their boots.
*Ombrophobia (fear of rain): Deriving from their natural dislike of wetness, Alex fears the rain because of the anxiety they get while in it. Hearing, or even seeing the rain isn't the problem, it's being in it that is.

And by average, I mean "not overweight nor underweight," as Alex never works out, however doesn't do anything to lose weight either. They just have an average build. Alex's short hair goes down below their ears but doesn't quite make it down to their shoulders. Wearing clothing is where they differ from the image, as the only thing related to it that Alex truly wears is the coat (I love that damn coat.). The purple coat covers their entire arms unless pulled up, and the length of the coat goes right above stepping length on the floor. It won't pose a threat to anyone that doesn't have a massive step. Anyways, other than the jacket Alex wears, underneath it, a cozy and warm short sleeve black shirt, accompanied with deep blue pants. The attire is made to be as warm and cozy as possible, to enjoy the sleep Alex is induced in. As for shoes, Alex wears sneakers that are the same shade of purple as their hair.
