Storm clouds at Sukai part 1[Raiza & Tex]

Finally, arriving in Sukai, Raiza immediately noticed the crisp clean air the planet had. A fresh breeze that gently brushed against his exposed torso and barely disturbed his hair. It was a paradise to many here but he was not here on some field trip. It was a job he had received, and decided to allow one of his fellow guild mates to follow along. Though truth be told, the job was classified as an A-class job. Would this be too hard for the one he was bringing with? It was a risk he was willing to take. Besides, if the one he was taking along survived then he was right in trying to take a low ranking member of the guild under him to learn. Perhaps this was just an experimental game to him to see if he could even be an adequate teacher or a leader.

The job did not sound too difficult though. When he had spoken to the client they were by the sounds of it some dream chaser anyways. A weapon with extraordinary magic sensed within these lands. No big deal really, but it did sound like some treasure hunter's bull shit story. Perhaps Raiza should not have taken the job but at the same time it was a job that held promise. A new place to visit, and at least enjoy himself with the atmosphere for a couple hours before heading off. After all, he had informed Tex when to arrive and where, hopefully there would be no trouble at least getting to the start point alone. Then again, he had very little clue about his job partner other than her name and how strong she was when he sensed her. "Oh well, I've got about an hour to relax" He calmly spoke while looking up towards the sky. His crystalline blue eyes staring aimlessly, while thinking to himself.

After only a few short minutes though he began to walk away. He had told Tex to meet him at Sukai, and the island that the portal leads you to had quite the different places to visit but to meet up at the magic shop nearest the portal. It was not that far of a travel, and the streets were not that filled with people. Did they recognize him already? A sinner of fiore had done nothing in these parts...yet. So he was not technically a wanted man here. If anything, someone might try to turn him in but lets face it, what sort of average joe would want to tangle with one of the eleven sinners of fiore? The top criminals typically had entire squads go after them, and for good reason too. Though he did keep to himself, and ignore any passing strangers if they even did go near him.

Finally arriving at the magic shop, Raiza would push the door open and walk in while gazing at the strange trinkets. Each new land he had visited was definitely strange like this. The magic trinkets they all had were different. A lot of wind based magic, or cloud magic was sold at this planet or at least this shop. With a sign called Kaz's Sky magic shop, it was no doubt going to be based on that anyways. Though before Raiza could go much further in the shop keeper had been already staring at him. The brown haired man looked more firm and upset about Raiza's appearance. "Buddy, no shirt no service. At least zip up that hoodie...wait I know that face, you're a criminal, you better leave before I inform the authorities."

Except only a smile could creep onto Raiza's face. His body shifted towards the shop keeper. Moments later, he was no longer there but instead pinning the shop keeper against the wall with one hand holding both wrists, and his knee firmly in the shop keeper's stomach. " Fourty three minutes that is how long until the person I am expecting arrives here. How long you survive for depends on your attitude towards me and her. Listen, may be a sinner of fiore, but I do not plan to make an enemy out of your establishment or you. Go on though, call the authorities, this is a whole new planet and my criminal record is clean on this one so far. The most they would do is watch me. After all, this isn't like one country turning over a criminal to another. Its a whole new planet. By the time Fiore got here... this entire building would be in flames... and I would not even have to kill you to ruin your life." Staring deep into the man's eyes, he could easily activate any one of his killing spells right here and be done with it but the man just had to speak up. "Like what?"

Finally letting go, Raiza smiled, grabbing hold of a picture from the man's desk. "Your daughter looks old enough, I wonder, what she would do if it was 'because of dadddy provoking a dark mage' that she became pregnant, and lets not forget your wife either. Do you want something like that? wait.... don't even answer that. It'd be unwise for you to anyways". Placing the picture down his smile finally left, and he was on his way to the window. "I'll buy something from your shop anyways, so count this day as any other day. Be wise in the future. Not every sinner of fiore is as laid back as myself." That was the last he spoke while he waited for Tex to arrive.

Tex sighed as she prepared to travel to the Island to meet up with her guildmate known as Raiza. This would be Tex's first technical job as a dark mage in the guild know as Savage Skull. Plus to add to the plate she was asked to go on a higher ranking job than normal...there was a very good chance that this would be very challenging if not impossible for her to do. Though she wasn't afraid of this challenge, however, in fact, being asked to do this, being told to go on this job and risk her life brought a smile on her face. She had always been an o doing things the hard way because nine times outta ten its brought fourth her favorite thing the thing she lived for the most in life...Despair. To Tex, there was absolutely nothing better to despair it was like a drug to her she loved it feeling despair when people suffer it or even when she suffers from it, either way, it makes her eel bliss and alive. But by no means way she against hope, in fact, she encouraged it at all if there was no hope there would be no despair and then her purpose to become the ultimate despair would disappear forever along with her. However she now was faced with this challenge to go and claim a weapon from him and that Raiza would have more information about it though she hasn't really met him yet but who cares she was ready to set out for the meeting location who knows maybe she will fine her true despair there but that would be determined there. She then stood up and closed her eyes and focused and then like that she was gone in a blink of an eye gone without a trace teleported away to meet up with her guildmate to acquire a mystery weapon and cause despair in all.

As she appeared at a portal since her teleporting can only go so far she finally made it to the island the portal was on which meant her first part of the task was done now to fine him. As she appeared there was a gust of clean crisp air brushing against her face. this place was wonderful and for most would be an ideal place. But she wasn't here to relax work needed doing so with that she adjusted her jacket from her old rune knights uniform she always had on to remind her of her purpose and she then started to walk to the destination not wanting to waste any more magic power since she didn't know what to expect outta this. She walked around the town slowly looking around at all the shops and such as she walked by she saw someone running from some thugs chasing him as much as she didn't want to get involved she sighed, after all, she would never pass up a chance to make hope. As she walked by him she drew her sword pointing to her side as a blocker. The men slid and stopped so did the guy running. Tex then smiled looking at hem "You will leave now or die..."she says calmly but the true intent in her eyes. They just scored "Fuck off you bitch!" one screamed "yeah do you know who we work fo-" and before he could even attempt to finish she cut him down blood on her blade. "aww he is still alive I missed..." her eyes darted at the man now dumbstruck "take him away now or join him..." grabbing him he ran and the man that was running walked up to Tex in relif. "thank you, you saved me..." he said happily "Tex sighed "why were they chasing you..." she said looking at him" I had jewels and they owe them a debt and they-" Tex cut him of "i want double that as a thank you for saving you. " she said coldly "B-but you just why I mean" he seem at a loss for words "you can't be serious" Her eyes blinked as she saw the once full of hope man that was rescued outta kindness turn to despair as he was now in a worse situation. it sent a shiver down her spine and made her smile "your choice but if I return and you have no money then well guess." she said swinging her sword blood splashing at his feet. He looked in horror as she let she had to get back to work but taking that hit was just what she needed.

"After a while of wondering around she heard a smaller voice inside a magic shop and walked over. seeing her guildmate inside she sighed back to her normal self. "Hey I finally found you I have been searching for a while," she said looking at him then at the shop owner who clearly wasn't having it and now was worse that Tex showed up, probably because they were together. anyway wasn't important he wasn't worth it as she turned to Riaza and began to spoke. "You ready to go I'd like to know more about what we are doing you gave me very vague instructions after all" she said thinking back to how she was asked, but all that aside she waited for him waiting thinking how different they looked she was in a ruin knight uniform and he was shirtless pretty much not that she cared just...they stood out a lot.

Even as the minutes drew on, the agitation Raiza had showed in each slow steady breath. How long was this woman going to take to arrive here. It was literally five to ten minutes walking distance from the portal. Though perhaps he did give too much credit at first. This place was a new land to even himself, one that he researched the town prior to visiting. A precaution that came with time. One that he knew had to be learned through the hard way, but yet for now Raiza only remained stationary at the window until he had began to sense Tex arriving closer and closer.

"Alright, I'll require a wind lacrima that lets us travel from island to island. Have one on hand?" His words finally broke the silence as he turned to the shop keeper whom began stumbling around in the back only to arrive a couple minutes later with a lacrima kit. "T-the kit contains all you'd need to make a working sky boat big enough for about three people. Wind lacrima enough to power it plenty and this lacrima here, all you do is use it on a tree to create a small boat with a sail. This is what most buy". While Raiza had his doubts, he still tossed a couple jewels the man's way and took the kit before heading towards the door just as Tex had arrived

Having ignored her initial words Raiza kept heading for the door. " I suggest you learn where is the appropriate times to ask that sort of question. Lets get going". Was Raiza being harsh? Yes he was. Was it needed? Again, yes it is. The fact felt the need to explain when or where to talk about dark mage jobs meant he already saw the job able to be jeopardized. What if he did explain the situation right there. Fact is, if he did, the store clerk could easily inform authorities where he and Tex were going, causing a disruption in Raiza's plans. A lesson he would ensure to drill into Tex the moment they were in the blue.

Which if Tex was following, and hopefully she was, Raiza would begin leading her to the edge of the island, and away from people. Remaining silent the entire way, as he motioned for her to do the same or at least keep the chatter to a socially acceptable amount around him. However when they did arrive at the destination, Raiza finally let out a sigh. "If you plan to live long at all, keep in mind your surroundings. Your actions and words hold a much grander impact. We are mages of darkness, what we say in public eye for those who recognize us or at least one of us, holds that much of an impact". Shifting through his pocket for the small lacrima kit, he would place a lacrima against the tree to cause it to shift to the sky boat form. The next lacrima he used was the wind lacrima to be placed inside the boat as fuel.

"Let me be more precise actually. I am one of the top dark mages in Fiore. I hold the spot of sinner of wrath. My criminal record is nothing here, but do you think for a second if I were to have told you were we were going or what we were doing in that shop, that our job would not have gotten that much harder? I do appriciate you taking the initiative to try and learn about the job however. So lets get started on the details while we sail to the island we need to arrive at. Good with you?" Keeping a steady flow of words while he worked, preparing the boat and ensuring everything was good. In fact, even at the very end of the preparations, Raiza's right hand began to glow until the glowing energy compacted into his index finger while he burned and drew a circle in the middle of the boat while adding runic symbols to it before speaking in another language a small incantation to the ritual circle before it would turn a vibrant red. A small preparation in case they were attacked while over the clouds was all this was.

"Alright. Lets hop in, and I'll begin to explain the job, and just for a note, I will be expecting you to keep up with me. I will not do this job for you. It is a joint effort to teach you, the one I dictated to become a mentee under me. Anyways, onto the job details". Having pulled out his notes on the subject, Raiza began to recite them "we are in search of a magical weapon that we have been hired to locate. The problem is, even the client has no idea where that is at. However, with enough research it is known that a local group of scientists are the answer to this. They've been researching a huge spike of magical energy on an island. Well... we don't have time to search an entire planet full of islands to try to figure out which one. So our job will be to raid the Research and Development laboratory to search out the answers ourselves. I suspect they'll be at the very least, geared with scientific magic weaponry so be on your guard. Even some lab worker might become a threat if we are not careful. We'll arrive on the island in time and the building will be at the center of it all. That entire island is not just home to the large scientific building, but the rest of the island is used for experiments as well. The moment we dock we should take up sneaking into the building and interrogate the scientists there. If they refuse, then we will kill them and search the building for notes."

Tex listened briefly as they walked out of the shop.  Apparently, she had over spoken about something in the shop, however, she had no memory of doing this she simply asked what the job they were doing was,  however perhaps if they knew they were already dark mages then yes that gave some information away.  It didn't matter to Tex honestly it was an oversight and if the Ruin Knights taught her anything it's that dwelling on things would not help the situation she just nodded for a brief moment.  "Understood I will try to be more....careful about what I say around you and others in the future..." she said very bluntly after hearing him go on about how she could have jeopardized the job.  She didn't really care too much about that either, to be honest, she would get the job done no matter the challenge granted this was already a tough job but still she will overcome to any amount of obstacle in her path.  She sighs shaking her head as they walk forward to the portal...perhaps she wasn't meant or a guild, after all, she barely did the ruin knights.  But for now she was in it and her at least needed to get this job done then she'd decided her fate afterward.  As they kept going he started to explain the job but mentioned that she would need to make sure she kept up.  She shook her head calmly and stared him down before listening to the job what could be said I Ra\iaza didn't think she could keep up or have to carry her then she wouldn't be here he'd ask someone more capable so with that it was one though in the future she'd have to prepare more because the first impressions are important and she didn't  have a good one.

As she listened to the job she sighed a bit,  sneaking was something she was good with however she was being judged constantly which in a way actually benefitted her to a small degree either they sucked and a small amount o hope is created that she is competent or she fails and falls into despair, either way, it was a win but the first is preferred since the more hope that is there the better the despair is later but that she'd keep to herself she was already in hot water why make it worse or now.  "Understood I will see to it I don't fail you again" she said as he finished telling her about the job  "Interrogation wasn't really her forte, however, she wasn't good at asking the right questions at those times, to be honest, but maybe Riaza could handle that part or would he since he wasn't there to carry her...oh well that problem would be resolved as they got there.  Tex didn't know what else to say the job seemed pretty straight forward, to be honest and he seemed to know what he was doing so to a point so who was she to argue.  She just looked at Raiza briefly not knowing what conversation to say she wasn't much or a conversationalist to be honest only when she needed to be and considering she had to once she felt she could add nothing worthy of saying.  After all, she could gauge even his personality well either he seemed serious enough but there seemed to be more to him however

As they kept going on the boat Tex sighed maybe something needed to be said otherwise it was just going to be more silence on the boat.  With that, she looked at him shaking her head "So what is your magic if I may I know nothing about it..." she would say actually concerningly.  She had never seen him use it and while she knew he was stronger than her she didn't know anything about it. "I suppose I can start off  with mine if you care though you might know already,  I'm a close combat specialist I'm extremely good with my blade and my magic I use  mainly is Teleportation to get in and close and it get around defenses and such I'll try not to be a burden on the battlefield if it comes to that however hopefully it won't," she said thinking back to her days on the suicide squad in the ruin knights first ones in never come out,  Tex never followed that rule but that was a story for another time.  For now, she looked back at the man a calm look on her face not wanting to show more emotion than necessary since her true self needed to stay hidden.  "That is all on that note if you have questions please ask otherwise i you'd be so kind to share it would help me so I know what you can do the more I know the less I worry,Hopefully" she said thinking about it briHopefully their magics wouldn't clash together and not fit there was a reason she didn't work with people Teleportation is unpredictable if she could count a number of times she almost died from friendly fire ...lets just leave that number be for now

A long boat ride gave plenty of time to catch up. It was the perfect scenario when the pair had so much to learn about each other. All Raiza knew right now, as he listened to the woman talk was that she at the very least, was a quick learner. Though something told Raiza deep down that she was not always a dark mage. Perhaps something else, maybe a member of one of the light guilds, but he did not have any records on her at all. Though rather than pondering on the topic endlessly, Raiza would instead listen to everything Tex had to say. It was a way to get to know her, and while he had moments to speak, instead he let the woman ramble on.

Only after he had finished listening to everything she said, Raiza let out a small chuckle. "Teleportation magic huh. Interesting concept, but I'm willing to bet over time, you'll do so much more. I sense the magic in you, you've got a lot of potential" His words full of truth as he reached out to point towards the ritual circle that he had one foot touching. "My magic is not simply one word summary. Its come from many hardships, many fights, and many enduring encounters through all the years of my life as a mage. What you see there is called a ritual circle. Just one of my many spells, but none of my spells or my magic require it. Instead, it simply amplifies my magic quite a bit. Seeing as we are vulnerable in this state I'm using it to ensure our safety through the passage of the clouds. " Pausing only for a brief moment, only to give Tex something to start thinking about, perhaps give them the idea how spells can work off of one and another to aid them. However this was only the first step in Raiza's teachings.

"While that one spell cannot explain what my magic is, I can explain my magic as that of reckoning. I call it The reckoning because of this. See, I am no mortal man, but well... lets leave what species I am to another day". Resisting the urge to push his incubus magic right onto the weak unsuspecting girl, just to have 'a little fun' before the boat trip would end. "There are many attributes to my magic, but it focuses on what I am as a being, and uses that as a catalyst for my dark magic. Even my sword, is but a tool within my magic". The moment he spoke of his sword, he had used his lineage ability to call forth his blade. A long detailed evil looking blade that just radiated energy and malice with it's blood stained metal.

Though he did wonder if he was still being too vague however he could add to it. "The range at which I can attack is not limited as short to long range is just dependant on my spells I use, or if I decide to use my sword, which also doubles as something I can assault with at medium range with energy waves. To summarize where I can be fit into on a team, I am typically a front line fighter that will intend to take as much damage as possible. Seeing as... it is really hard to kill me" Even as he spoke his words, the last few words he spoke held so much truth and Raiza had ran his sword right through his own hand, revealing not a single physical wound was available. Sure it hurt like a bitch if he was using a physical form, but he wasn't so pain was irrelevant. It did hurt his life force, but that was going to be quickly regenerated anyways as well. "see no damage", it was a lie, but did Tex need to know that? of course not. "it takes a bit to do even a scratch to me, and that is without me even begining to dip into my magic. I hope this explains enough for you, because I don't feel like making you uncomfortable with my magic relating to my species"

Though he didn't dwell further on the topic as the sky boat was nearing the coast of the scientist island. "time to start heading in. We'll take the steady approach and begin working our way into the facility. If you can teleport us on top of the building, then that would be an extreme help actually. There are at least a dozen security cameras within these woods I already see them with my special shadow sight. We wont be able to avoid them going through normally." Actually, that was a lie. Raiza didn't see anything in the woods but he did want his student to feel needed on the job, and what more than to falsify some defenses that the enemy did not have.

While he was doing this. Raiza had smiled, secretely placing the unholy might spell on Tex after sacrificing a small portion of his life energy to enhance it using blood magic. How it appeared was nothing, No sign, nothing as Raiza concealed his use of the spell to make it look like his partner was just that much stronger. Strong enough now to not be so easily dealt with at the very least.

Tex listened carefully to her mentors magic and must say she was vastly interested in it, to say the least. There was so much to her magic made her think about what she could do with her magic. All she could do was teleport around and such which no discredit that was extremely useful and was even possibly needed but he could do a variety of spells and abilities. The more she listened the more she liked what she heard but the more she thought about how they could use their unique abilities together. He explained how he used a ritual circle type spell to empower allies and himself and they weren't even required for most his spells. "Interesting that would certainly help considering I'm not as strong at you quite yet," she said nodding ready to keep listening. He then said something that interested her further...he wasn't a mortal man which obviously begged the question, what was he, he looked and acted like a human but as he said that was a topic for another day and she need with that thought it definitely was a topic she'd be bringing it up again. He then mentioned her multitude of ranged based attack and even close combat attacks which made tex think about herself again. She was pure close combat though she was quick she had to get in close. she didn't have many was to do range tough she made up for that by being able to close the gap easier. He then mentioned it took a lot to her him. with that, in mind, he took out his blade and ran it down his hand but it didn't cut him at all which surprised her making her eyes go wide briefly. She then looked at her blade...she would dare try that since her blade vibrates so much it cut through her like a knife through butter needless to say she wasn't like him in that regard but still she could take a hit. She nodded looking at him "Truly amazing you magic yourself is just all intriguing and yes that explanation would definitely do for now though we can talk about it more late, oh it is worth noting something I forgot to mention I can only teleport places I can see or places have previously been so I can't just go anywhere but that shouldn't be a problem just letting you know in advance." she would say calmly so they were both on the same page as the island came into sight. It looked like an island covered in trees however she could see a bit of the facility from the boat. With that, he looked over at Raiza who asked her to teleport them on the roof since they didn't know if there would be camaras or anything like that in the forest. She nodded while doubting there were but you never know after all. So she looked over seeing just the top of the facility through the trees as they got there. She then looked over at Riaza "My Teleportation may leave you disoriented at first when we arrive just letting you know I don't want you falling of the roof" she said grabbing his shoulder focusing on the location she wanted to go and with that she dissappered only to eventually reappear on the roof not letting him go just in case. "perfect..." she said eventually letting him go" Okay let's get to it." she said quietly so only she could he could hear her. Then she looked around seeing a door on the roof walking over to it slowly making sure there were no camara's she would trigger. As she got to the door she looked at it app tempting to open it...locked, of course, it was locked but that was to be expected. "I know what to do about this.." she said pulling out her blade. to the untrained eye it looked normal but to the trained eye, it was vibrating at an amazing pace. She then pressed the tip to the lock pushing forward on it. the vibrations making nearly no noise as she pushed into it destroying the lock slowly. after the lock was destroyed she looked back at him nodding ."okay...the door is open let's keep going...slowly of course." She said knowing they needed to take it slow. this wasn't her first rodeo doing something like this, however, it was her first time doing it on this scale on top of that she wanted to show she could do this to Raiza however that was no excuse to do it poorly. With that, she motion and they' start to move slowly inside. She loved the thrill of taking risks like this. if they fail if brings despair for the failure...however if they succeed they get hope which will fuel her despair later...no matter what she won though of course, she'd rather do it right the first time after all despair comes natrually to everyone and she was no exception. AS they descended down into the facility it was well lit though she got to a cross intersection looking left then right seeing no one coming then looking back at Raiza who was behind her. "What way should we go?' she asked wanting his input on this matter since she didn't know what way to go immediately. He didn't know what he wanted to do obviously it wasn't wise to spilt up in this situation but she didn't know it there was a more efficient way of searching this building though that may be there only option since she didn't see any indicators on where to go to get the information they needed however that was to be expected she didn't expect a sign say Top secret weapon here.

'Monster Dice' :

Nodding his head, Raiza acted as if he genuinely cared. Though truth was, he knew how to teleport and that was not the issue. In fact, he wasn't lazy either. The point of this was to force his student to use their own magic, to help them be the gauge of the mission while he guided them. Except he was not going to guide them with the answer at every step. Instead, he remained quiet for the most part while Tex had spoken about how her magic worked, and how Raiza may feel un-easy when it happened. Though a smile on his face appeared when they were about to be teleported. A hand had grabbed his shoulder, a feat typically unable to be done unless he had allowed it, and he had to ensure it'd be possible quick enough so not to delay or worse, startle Tex before the spacial jump.

Once the teleport had happened though, He walked off a couple feet, despite being held onto, but rather instead, he turned ethereal, causing Tex's hand to slip right through his body. "Good, we made it. So far, we only need to now break into the building and start getting to work". Which, it had looked like Tex was already working on. Using their vibrating sword like a lock pick/lock destroyer, Raiza noticed the key precision it took to not make much noise. Quite the talent, and one that Raiza judged that could be used in many sleight of hand tricks. Perhaps non-magical illusions such as card tricks, or possibly they were someone that gambled? While the thoughts were plenty, Raiza didn't truly dig into the matter, but instead kept his mouth shut while Tex worked on the door's lock. It wasn't quite a needed thing, he could have walked right through it, but again... why? Why do all the work, and let his student gain none of the experience. Well, truth is that was why he had not done much with his magic aside from getting Tex and himself to the island that they would be doing the job on. From here on out, he planned to, and hopefully would not need to use any major spells other than a few.

Though it gave him the opportunity to write and use his magic on the roof to create his A-rank spell, the abyssal ritual circle. A much larger circle, and more powerful than what he used on the boat. This exact ritual circle was prepared so when the pair had to escape, if they had to escape that is to the roof, then at the very last moment just in case anything went wrong, he could still perform a major spell on top to gain the momentum power to enhance his spells. Though truthfully, he still hoped he would not require a second A-class spell because that alone made him annoyed. It wasn't cheap on his mana reserves to do such a high class spells like this, and even just the abyssal ritual that he had just performed was one that costed him a nice chunk.

Though despite that plan, Raiza heard the door open, and Tex informing him about it. They were both ready, and began to head into the building, slowly making their way into the halls as there eventually ended up a split off in direction. No security cameras, at least any that Raiza noticed. So... they were quite high tech, but security was lax around these parts. Interesting, but foolish. Perhaps it was because this research facility had little trouble with dark mages is why such a lack of security was happening. However what did not lack was the sound of foot steps being heard. The common flat bottom steel toed shoes that a couple scientists worked in.

It wasn't loud but Raiza realized they could not stay there very long. "well... not that way, we do not want to be spoted yet, we'll work at this calmly and carefully. However I want you to take the lead for experience. I'll take the lead to get us to a safer spot for now, but then its on you to come up with ideas. That is the one that just turned the corner. It is your call on what to do. We can take him out rather quickly, a flawless assassination without much effort. We can try to capture him, but we'd need to drag him to a place where we can interrogate without any interuption. They look fairly frail, definately much smarter than any way a fighter. We can also leave him and go down this hallway, and keep investigating blind. What would you like to do. If you have any other non-mentioned solution or route to take, then tell me. We have about.... ten or so seconds before he'll be here around this corner. So I do suggest we decide quickly." Sure, Raiza could just death bell the entire facility, kill pretty much every scientist in the area with no effort at all, but again... experiance for the student was part of the goal here. Teach them about actions, and what they can or shouldn't do with the varied results of it all. Though there was other options Raiza had been able to suggest, but would his student figure it out in such a short time frame? Pressure was on, the stake of the mission was not critical at this point, if the man was to make any sound, Raiza would definately kill the guy before any sound was made. No need to ruin the perfect training of the student opportunity after all.

As he pressed Tex against the wall she sighs a bit. It could have been way worse plus she didn't care at the moment he knew his intentions were in the right place not to care if they weren't just situation and stuff would determine the answer but that was definitely for a different day for sure.  She sighed as she started to hear them coming as well.  She saw Raiza looking at Tex presenting her some options and offering suggestions on what to do. Though he said Tex needed to make a quick decision quickly.  Tex thought quickly about it there was a lot to consider in such a short amount of time.  She could easily take them out especially with Raiza here though Then that makes two more issues hiding the blood and bodies, and they are no better than before which would help no one.  Part of her wanted to capture then for information but the issues she saw here is that they didn't have a place to interrogate them and if he yelled that be trouble.  Perhaps knocking them out would be best though that is just like the first option and they didn't have time and there was no way to avoid them.  She sighed but then  thought came to Tex's head.  Her Teleportation was silent so what if they went behind them...and held one hostage.  "I'm gonna get behind on and grab him can you take out the other one precisely by knockout i don't want any blood.." she says looking at Raiza.  She then prepared He said he;d do what she said and she wanted to show she could get information out of someone via on the fly interrogation because in there line of work that would be nesccicarry.  and with that, she disappeared appearing behind them.  She waited for her hand on her blade as Riza came out and knocked one out before the other one could react the was a sword at his neck "move and you die no you will answer my questions and if you tell then..well you can guess..." she says menacingly at him.  He shivers clearly not being a fighter but a thinker "Look I don't know why your here just don't kill me..." he says pleading for his life.  Tex just shakes her head why do they always say that god it was annoying.  "Then tell me where the experiments are happening nd don't waste my time..." she said scrapping at his neck making him more worried "I_I don't in-" Tex then cut his neck just enough to bleed "I'd stop there we both know that is a lie please don't Lie again or I'll cut deeper" he was now sweating bullets feeling the vibration going trough his skin feeling the despair made Tex so happy,  even if this were to fail Tex would at least be happy luckily it didn't. "F-Fine the experiments are in the back courtyard of the largest oak there is a large Cyrstal!"  he says frantically not wanting to die.  She smirks "see easy now I won't hurt you anymore." she said as the man breaths heavily in relief "however he is a different story" she said as his eyes widened as Raiza knocked him out. "okay shall we go if it is in the back court yard we should get going maybe we can return from the roof and jump down and surprise them or at least that's what I feel we should do since there were no guards on the roof we can get a good vantage point of the situation  and make a plan from there...but first hang on..." she said grabbing the bodies disappearing with her.  She had taken them in the middle of the woods so even if they woke up they would be not threat.  She then set them down and took a step back disappearing again for a brief time appearing "just putting them somewhere where they won't interfere shall we get to the roof?" she said looking back a tad annoyed that they didn't have to search the base though in a way she was relieved that they didn't have to skulk about but that also might explain why there weren't a lot of guards around onside if they were all back in the court yard in the trees then it would make sense for them to be out there protecting i.  She then turned heading back-back to the stairs to get back to the roof.  As they got to the roof she walked to the back looking out ward towards the woods and the ground. "look there" she points to a treeline where there were lots of people ging in and out of it. I think it is fair to assume they are coming from there I have a plan to get it out of there It I can run leading them far away you can drop in dealing with whatever small force they leave to guard it once I got them pretty far  out I simply teleport to you and help you then we can get out it is a bit risky of a plan but it's the one I can come up with do you object to it?" she asked looking up at him worried she was screwing up big time during this but he hasn't stopped her yet but she wasn't sure what to do she never had been in this situation having to lead before but she thought she was doing fine though if he said no the despair would be there if he said yes then the hope would raise so, either way, she was ready hopefully though both would happen that would Idel, after all, she was sure she did something wrong here but who knows maybe she got lucky and was doing it right

Rather interesting individuals as they seem to use nanite magic. They can augment their bodies to be hard as steel, regenerate extremely fast, increase their speed, or fire nanites at you to deal S Rank damage. They take 6 hits of B Rank damage to go down each.

A nod of the head, listening to Tex's opinion and directions after he had given her some options to choose from. Perhaps with enough training they could become a good squad leader, or operator on the field. Less mess with the infiltration, but at that same moment, Raiza didn't think Tex understood the grasp of the situation. Talking could alert others, but who? if any, it was a hard call to be truthful on the matter. Either way, time to act.

It started with Raiza watching Tex teleport behind the one scientist apprentice. Easy target with little threat at all. Shortly following Tex, would be Raiza using his speed to blitz down the hall to come from the other direction. He could have teleported or went through the walls, but he wanted to keep that aspect of his magic a secret for now. Instead he closed the distance between himself and the man he was to finish off. Take by knockout, no blood. Got it... well partially true at least. Was Knockout required if blood would not be spilled? It was questionable, but Raiza stuck to the plan. His first strike would be a knee to the apprentice's stomach, causing them to bend over before steathing his blade, and then using his right hand to grasp the man's throat while positioning behind them now choking them out while the other man just simply watched the entire thing go down. Though really, Raiza kept the choking up a bit more than he should have. The man's face had already turned pale then blue. A lack of air was all it took to knock the guy out but instead of stopping, Raiza kept going for a small bit longer before dropping the individual on the ground with a thud, obviously they were not going to wake up any time soon, but in fact, it might be a bit longer than anticipated.

Now, watching Tex interogate the man, her technique was quite good. Flawed, but good. Pain was quite the teacher, but when Tex was done with the man, Raiza took into action. His blade would cross right through the neck of the man with such precision not even a wound was left. Well, what had really happened was Raiza turned his blade into a blade that would strike the very soul or essence of the man. Severing it to cause enourmous pain before causing them to blackout from the pain just to fall over limp. Not enough to kill just yet, but almost. "He lied" Raiza added, looking at Tex. "I saw it in his eyes. He either was scientifically trained not to be persuaded to tell, or... he honestly did not know. No matter the case, we'll proceed with finding it on our own at this time. Lets head to the roof. Your plan was good, but I feel our time is getting shorter and shorter. I hear some more foot steps.. looks like we'll not have time to hide the bodies. Lets go now"

Rushing to the roof, and hopefully Tex was following, Raiza would enter the center of his abyssal ritual circle. "Tex, do not move" It was a stern order as his magic began to swell around the area. The sounds of bells could be ringing, it was a spell of one of Raiza's highest caliber. For whom the death bell tolls. The initial sound wave would rip through the entire complex, harming anyone other than himself or Tex. While it was only the first wave that made the most screams, it did not end. The terror of the sound would be heard for quite a bit. The sounds of screaming scientists of all the pain it was causing them. There may still be some that can withstand it, but Raiza doubted it. "Alright, I've bought us time. Its a large scale death sound spell. Everyone in the building is now being subjected to a painful sound, destroying their ear drums, and their body. Anyone from this point on, I'd like you to be able to fight. It would be good experience. I'll back you up though. So lets go in, and find the documents ourselves. We'll go see if they're in the main lab."

Tex 's eye twitched briefly in annoyance, of course they were trained to not tell the truth how could she not think of that...damn it oh well this was the end all be all but now it was time to get to work, Raiza made a good point altogether time was running out they would be discovered soon enough if they didn't do something quickly however she didn't know how to go about it until Riaza told Tex not to move. after observing what he did. She then heard the screams of those poor men inside probably had no idea what had hit them until it was too late they would be knocked out. Tex looked at RAiza as he mentions most the guns and guards should be knocked out...terrifying what kind of power did that but still not important. Tex was told anyone from here on she'd have to fight...so she figured that meant they were going loud with this job, which was fin by her. With that, she headed back down the stairs heading to where the obvious place would be, the basement. As they descended the facility she couldn't help but see all of the bodies on the ground cringing and crying in pain from having there eardrums ruptured. "so much..." She said with a smile as they got lower however not all were affected by his magic as two people they had met appeared before them. They were not affected by the sound waves...by why not. tex just stopped briefly, they were obviously stronger then the other scientists but by how much... Considering Raiza said she was to deal with this she wasted not time and teleported up to one swinging her blade at one. he smirked blocking with his arm it turned to steel. She went wide eye briefly she couldn't finish the move she was going to do. but before long the other scientist decided to join the fray. lucky Tex aw this coming and used her nex move Phase blast disappearing behind them. however, as she swung they used there magic to cling to the floor so they didn't go flying. "tex was both shocked and annoyed but these were obviously better then the average ones they saw before. then on turn and hit making her slide back ah.." she winced a bit not having time to teleport. there attacks hit like a train and she only caught the back end of it...suddenly Tex had an idea. the scientists ginned turning to Razia but That annoyed Tex more "your fighting me" she said activating her phase armor teleporting between them activating her . The one behind her immediately turned swung but as he did she disappeared heat the last second and he hit his friend knocking him down cold dealing an S rank of damage to him.she appeared where she was originally smirking "you bitch..." he said charging Tex speeding up using nanites. She just Teleported to the other side of him like nothing different except this time he couldn't move "what the what did you do..." he growled Tex said nothing but turn "Teleporting Barrage face my despair time keepers curse!" she said in a completely different tone one take would send shivers to her foes her time keepers curse making her move at breakneck speeds As then kept teleporting around him dealing b strake after strike going s fast she left clones behind her where she was. eventually, she wore him down panting a bit looking at them both "well that takes..care..of.."she leaned over noticing something on his belt unclipping it. Main lab floor 1 red access is what the card said. she gave a smile and looked up at RAiza tossing it to him "I think I found our lead assuming Red access is good then the main lab on the first floor should have the answers we are looking for would you not agree? she asked looking waiting for the mans answer as she stood there "but then started to move because regardless it was worth checking out "lets go even if it isn't there I bet there is a clue" she said hoping he would follow her down to the first floor so they can investigate the lab and hopefully give the proper answeres they were looking for. After all worst case scenarios they were back where they were searching this place so it didn't hurt to alt least check it out.

It was just a matter of time until they got within the building again. Those that received the first initial wave had busted out ear drums, and even worse, had either internal bleeding inside their head, or had fallen into a death like state from the sheer pain of it all. Even those that had been previously knocked out were now dead on the floor twitching from the magical pulses of death bell still ringing throughout their body. It was a hellish spell that Raiza had used on the entire complex but at least now they could begin searching the place. Though the only place they could begin to search was further down on lower ends of floors while trying to ensure everyone they passed was already dead. Anyone that wasn't dead but was slowly making sounds and bleeding out would receive a quick stab to the face with the reckoning blade.

Finally though, the pair encountered two more figures and Raiza only smiled while he kept an eye on Tex to ensure they wouldn't die in the fight. Watching the fight occur, it only made the feel and thrill show a new level. His magic was still amplifying Tex and they had no clue. Instead, they were hardly even using or needing it. It was as if that was the extra edge they had required, a simple change, a simple powerful change that changed the tides of the match. The fight Raiza was watching was a two on one, normally a fight he'd intervien on but he knew if anything... if even one little drop of trouble happened, a spell would be all that was required. Perhaps a something along the lines of his swarm spell. Though instead, Raiza simply chuckled, looking dead at the fight, and watching Tex teleport around almost like a dance until one had fallen by their own move. Then, the last one made Raiza actually curious. It wasn't that the move or combo had been out of his own league kind of curious, but it sure was damn well planned and executed. What ever Tex had done, Raiza noticed the woman moved at such a high speed that he himself was not used to it. It was quite the physical enhancement. No... was it possible teleporting at such speeds it improved one's speed? Perhaps, but he also sensed time magic. So... Tex was a time & space mage. Interesting combo, but would it last? Who knows. A simple whistle of approve

Eventually though the fight ended, and a red card was presented to Raiza. "Yeah lets go", Raiza's words were in a hurry as he looked at the two figures. Even if they were not dead now, Raiza ensured they would be. Yes, they were on the ground, but just to make sure. Raiza kept his death bell spell going, and it was definitely effecting them just in case. Though not to fall behind, Raiza began picking up his pace. Taking the red card and running up to a sign. It was directions for the newer scientists. A quick few turns and Raiza was now at a new lab. His partner in the job may or may not have followed, but hopefully they did. "Okay, look for documents, or the weapon itself. If you can sense anything tell me" Something he didn't know was the lab was small, and many things were just drawings or idle notes. Was this a science lab or some bull shit treasure finding group? Then it hit him...

..."its not here" he spoke, rummaging and finally finding a map. This map was of the island they were on, but more. It as detailed, largely detailed, and there was more. There were surrounding islands and the documents to show many details. Even with this map, and a few notes he let out a chuckle. "Tex, looks like we're going to another island. I think I know where the magical source is. However, we've made quite the ruckas, and the sirens are already going off. I suggest we move, get out of the building and re-evaluate how we'll approach this. For now, consider this job completed because we will be needing to regain all of our strength, as well as come up with a new plan. So, I'm going to tell you this. You did a good job here. very few mistakes, and I look forward to seeing my student grow. I think you'll be ready for your B-rank evaluation after this. So, here is the deal, We'll return home with these documents, and then, I'll see if you are ready for the evaluation, and then, once done, we'll continue on our way, and finish up this job. The time frame is small though, no more than about a week, if not less. From what I am reading here, there wont be an easy way this time. Scientists have gone and never came back. So again, for now. Lets get going"

Eagerly folding up the map to store it for connivance before he kept reading a little bit of the documents. "We can use this laboratory as a forward operating base too. Seems the siren has alerted no one. So... everyone is already dead as far as we can tell" Looking around, and it only took a button to shut the damn thing off while he began packing the notes into a pile for him to take. The rest... he had no interest in. "Though I rather honestly not remain here. Your call if you want to. I'm leaving. "

Slowly, he made his way for the door before a smile. "By the way. Heres my next goal for you. Call it a training exercise. The training is this. i was separated from you, so find your own way back to the guild hall. Good luck". Turning the corner and entering a door Raiza would use his own shadow like teleport by entering the shadows to travel around before eventually finally using a more advanced form to teleport away no longer within the area.

As he gave a sign of approval it made Tex happy that he thought she did well and managed to impress him a bit with her combat skills. Tex was fairly confident in her skills in combat which she prided herself on so it was a relief to see he approved of what she did during the fight though even she knows she needs to be more careful in the future, after all, it be really bad if she teleported into a poor situation like when she started the fight. but she got the job done so it would be fine for now and he seemed to approve Though she had to be careful using the time keeper spell as well...that spell was tricky to use and it could backlash one day, the idea of messing with time was a very weird project maybe one day Raiza could help her learn more about it. "they then headed for the lab swiftly finishing off anyone that was still alive on the way, however, they needed to hurry up and go faster especially since they had no idea what was still lurking around the facility. Eventually, they found the lab and Raiza opened the door with the red key card and they then proceeded going inside it looking around. He said to start searching it for any clues, documents, maps anything that can be useful. She nodded looking around the room carefully for any old documents or papers that would help them more. He looked around not finding anything shaking her head. where could these files be they weren't organized and they were scattered everywhere on top of that. She then saw Raiza look at her saying he found something. she walked over to him looking at what he had found. It appeared to be a very large detailed map and Tex could see it before he said it They would need to go to a different Island to complete this job, Tex found that a little annoying since she wanted to just get it done here and get it over with but she couldn't blame them it was the smart play, after all, making sure not to put all your eggs in one basket and such. She looked at the map as he pointed out where they needed to go and she nodded. It made sense that it be on one o the smaller island but right now since they were on high alert there was no way they could do it today but then he said they need to regroup and make a plan and think about how to do this. "Yeah okay let's head back" she'd say nodding but then heard him say that she'd need to get her own way home sorta like a test and then like that she was gone. Tex blinked looking at the space he uses to be. "did he forget I can just Teleport home..." she'd say sighing looking down at the scientist walking over to him kneeling down looking at him pulling a card out of his pocket. it looked to be another clearance card of sorts. she decided to pocket and then stood up looking around for a few more minutes grabbing a few notes on the weapon. She wanted to make sure they were going into this with as much information as they could but he made a point. she took a breath looking around organizing it little moving bodies that were dead out of the room etc and shaking her head. She decided to take one more trip around the based checking out every room for anyone still alive. The sweep was successful to a point anyone still moving she was easily able to assassinate with her magic and anyone bleeding out was easy picking. Once she finished she returned to te room where they found the map looking at it carefully. this place would make a good forward operations point but would it be smart, this was one of there labs when they stop reporting it could be worse, however, he knew what he was doing so she'd leave it at that. after she finished up she took a breath "time to go home but first one stop.." she said needing to make one quick stop to collect some jewels for someone for a rescue earlier with that she teleported to the island first to collect a debt then back to the guild hall where she wanted to do nothing more than rest
