    Job Info:

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
A new zoo had recently held their grand opening or premier start of their carrier in the center of Clover Town. The owners had travelled across the planes of Earthland, yes, the entirety of Earthland as in beyond the small land known as Fiore to search and capture the classics, the exotic and unique, the famous and unheard species that inhabit this earth with us. Most of the civilians in Clover barely ever saw a tiger out in the wild; a wyvern was more common in these areas, while such beast as tigers were more common in the lands of Midi and Seven. However, what was the young blood of Golden Phoenix doing here? If you looked up at the tower of the large building right in front of the entrance to the zoo, then you would be able to spot a single figure sit out and watch down onto his own knees and waiting with closed eyes. The yellow outlines of his attire would reflect the sun’s light and shine out like cables with neon.

Tigers had always been a fascinating creature, or at least for Shen. Born in a family that originated from roots that spired out in Midi, only to travel across the world and land on their present home of Ca-Elum, the king of the jungles had always enveloped his childhood. From cuddling his plush to the teachings in body arts that resembled that of the same carnivore, he’d been raised up with the respect and praising to the Panthera Tigris. When he heard of the zoo’s opening and the exhibit on countless of animals, including his beloved cats, then he took the invitation and went to Clover to have a day off. His horse, Héi, would dash around the streets and take care of herself as Shen was merely waiting for Summer-senpai to arrive as well. Then, they could both enjoy the presence of wildlife in the zoo…

    Dear... Ehm, Senpai

I've recently discovered the opening of a certain zoo all the way at Clover Town

Apparently, they have an exhibit on species from all of Earthland, including tigers

As I've always been an admirer of tigers, I've taken my journey to the zoo.
You're the one closest to my heart as of now, in which I invite you to accompany me on this day off.
I hope that you'll have a nice day
    Dong Shen

Summer read the note with a little smile on her face, this has made her rather happy, for someone who has recently been inflicted with some sort of self esteem issue, this was nice and relaxing for once. She decided to not take her pets to the scene as this wasn’t the time to bring them. This wasn’t a mission, this was a relaxing time to be with someone she hasn’t hung out with for a while: dongsaeng.

Shen was a very lovely young man, he even called her senpai, which was really nice. Personally, she has never been to the zoo before, but she has seen plenty of tigers in her time. She guessed dongsaeng really likes his tigers?? She didn’t blame him, tigers were beautiful and majestic creatures, their stripes did lots of things to do them their favours in battle. In fact, the power of the chinese zodiac offered her protection from the chinese zodiac, this included a tiger. She never hears her zodiac speak to her, but they are there to watch her for whenever she was in trouble, not that she minded, she welcomed the support greatly.

Arriving in Clovertown on her brass horse, Summer smiled softly as she let it go around slowly, she wondered where her dongsaeng was?? She sure hoped that he wasn’t being mischievous! Luckily, she arrived where dongsaeng was and Summer hopped off the brass horse as she threw the brass horse into the air, allowing the brass horse to shrink. Placing it into a convenient pocket she has, she let the gunpowder fill the whole area as she approached the boy she classed as her little brother, ruffling his hair when she arrived.

“Hey, dongsaeng!” She greeted him. “What’s up?!”

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
Slumber almost overtook him as he waited. The sun was being extra strong on him today, which symbolized the importance and life of this zoo. Many people had been gathering to enter as soon as the doors would open yet another day at Clover, and he’d made sure to check out the booklet as well. If you were to follow the main trail of the park, then you would firstly step by some rather large owls from the cold, northern lands - the next inclosing would contain wolves. He should pass by most of them until he would take a look at the orange tigers.

… Now that he thought about it, Héi held most of his weapons. That included the Báo Léi sword only as it was, bluntly, the one to summon all those weapons that was meant. However, he didn’t really need it today as it wasn’t ‘on duty’ on his status. Besides, why go out and call the horse back to the zoo? It would most likely get too startled and run away again… he began worrying a little, but it was to be ruffled off as a familiar lady suddenly filled the air with dust. Her hand stroked his hair spike and the rest as she greeted him. “Oh - ní háo, Senpai…” he greeted back while being ruffled, “So you really came…” While the smooth part of his hair covered his eyes, he was about to thank her, but he didn’t want to appear too childish or anything, in which he simply landed on his feet at the lower surface along with her. His eyes, freed by the bangs, would dart towards the entrance where guests could now enter in large groups resembling ants that tried to enter the same hole. “It seems that they’ve opened up now,” he commented, “… I wonder.” He would look at the back and spot his backpack, in which a specific plush was stored. He was getting even more eager to watch the tigers, in which he went moving, looking back at Summer-senpai. Something on her cheek caught his attention, though, in which he stood still and widened his left eye more to show his shock at what was apparent on her. "..."

Summer’s happiness was always there the moment she noticed Shen, her dongsaeng. He seemed himself as always, the last time the two ever really spoken to each other was back at the winter ball that Golden Phoenix hosted for it’s members, with Summer being the main organiser. She felt that the event made her be herself more and it even got her to know some of the members better. The fireworks expert will admit, the two have gotten really close with each other, despite not knowing each other too heavily on the personal side of things. This was fine, she can accept that and still let him be known as the little brother that he really was towards her.

“Ni hao!” She greeted once more, tilting her head and her grin becoming a small smile embedded on her face. It was clear she was ready and raring to go to get to this zoo. “Sure did! Why?? Did you not expect me to come?? I have never really been to a zoo to the honest, so when you sent me the letter, I got really excited!” She announced as she clapped her hands. The best thing was, the zoo itself. It was already open it seemed! Oh god, she couldn’t wait! There was going to be so much to see and do at the zoo, they could even look at the tigers, just like her dongsaeng wanted!

Suddenly, dongsaeng looked at her face and his eyes seemed to widen in horror. His red eye started to look pretty darn intimidating and Summer couldn’t help but feel her cheek… she allowed her fingers to gently caress all five of the scars that were brutally given to her thanks to a dragon slayer known at the vital vitriol. Personally, she didn’t know about dragon slayers, but she also knew that the one that clawed her face deserved a good spanking, along with Kenji’s first dates, them first dates of his always needed a good spanking.

Summer’s happiness switched to her depressive one and she shook her head, it wasn’t the time to think of such things and then she began to ruffle his hair some more. “Come on, let’s not worry about what’s on my face, okay??” She tried her best to reassure him with some added giggles, but she wasn’t sure how well that was going to end up.

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
Summer-senpai looked excited and eager to enter the zoo and watch all the animals right before; walking in the bright sunlight and having a good time with him made her smile before. Now, as he’d paid attention to the five scars on her, her facial expression had changed to a drastically sad feeling. What kind of issue did she go through in order to receive those scars, along with the saddened expression by remembering it? It worried him to the point that his eye wouldn’t stop widening as it looked like as if it was about to explode. He slowly turned his entire body towards her to show his curiosity, but she suddenly approached and began ruffling his violet hair again, assuring that he shouldn’t worry about them. Were they from a battle? Did she face some kind of carnivore in the wilderness before? The more shocking was that she didn’t have those a few weeks ago… it was surely suspicious.

Now, Shen wasn’t the dumbest person, and someone like him could see something in her smile. He shook the worry away, though, as he realized that all that she wanted was to ease his worry. Therefore, he looked to calm down again and forget it, while looking up at her. “Okay…” he answered to her, “… The tigers, though.” As he finished that sentence, he walked further into the zoo and began passing the first exhibition, the owls that flew around a huge net that was laid out for them to have a huge area to fly around. The owls were half a meter tall and appeared to be very friendly, in which they also began flying near Shen as he watched them. Over at the wolves at the next cage, a certain worker entered the wolves’ area with a box in his hand. Shen paid no mind to him as he could’ve just been a worker at the zoo. “Those owls are fascinating,” he commented the view, “Despite their size, they make not a single sound as they fly. It’s like lightning without thunder.”

Dongsaeng seemed to be doing fine after Summer’s statement, maybe it was because she was hiding it really well, or because he didn’t want to stress her out even more. Either way, it was time to go to the zoo! Oh the things them both could see and the amount of stuff they could do together… in fact, cotton candy sounded really good right now, and so did feeding the animals too. Of course, Summer and her dongsaeng might not be able to feed the animals today, but she was sure there was going to be some other time. In the zoo, the first exhibit that the zoo possessed was owls. Summer looked to the owls while tilting her head, the owls were surely strange creatures, but they were apparently wise little buggers too, able to distract and feed on their prey with the element of surprise. The owls seemed to be very demanding today, even with Summer’s presence around. It reminded her of herself, constantly wanting attention no matter where she was.

“Them owl’s are so pretty!” Summer commented as she kept gazing at their beady eyes, making sure to place a finger on her chin while her arms were crossed. She was hoping that dongsaeng would reply to her and even though he did reply with his comment, it seemed he was concentrated on something else, and looking to her side, she can clearly see why. There was a worker who seemed to be doing his daily business, he was wearing a lab coat however, and the fireworks mage found this extremely strange indeed, she didn’t understand why he was not wearing a worker's uniform like the rest of the staff were. She had to investigate it…

“Dongsaeng, I will go investigate what the hell that man’s problem is.” She announced as she coughed lightly and walked towards the man in the labcoat to place her hand on his shoulder. Suddenly, screams could be heard nearby. She didn’t know what was happening. “What the hell?? Dongsaeng!” Summer shouted, trying to grab his attention. The animals started to go crazy… she didn’t want the same incident to happen again where dongsaeng was almost killed, that wasn’t cool.

Post by Yuvon 14th February 2017, 6:52 am

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
The owls’ large eyes began looking at the spectators that were surrounding the net, including Shen and Summer-senpai. When they landed on large logs or on the ground, then their heads began spinning around their necks almost over 200 degrees in order to look at everyone. They were very curious, and they appeared to enjoy the attention that they received. One of them began focusing on Shen as he focused on it, the owl’s gloomy eyes sinking into his. They sure were pretty, just like Summer-senpai commented. “It looks like my father…” he mumbled. The strong bangs around its head and the feathers that worked as some kind of mask to collect sound looked like the strong marks of muscles on his dad’s face. He began imagining his own family visiting the zoo with him… that wouldn’t do. Not with the situation as it was.

Speaking of senpai, Summer suddenly pointed her focus on the previous guy with the lab coat, telling that she would go investigate his actions. Wait, so he wasn’t a worker? If not, then it would sound reasonable. Shen nodded quickly as he watched her walk towards the door to one of the cages, having approached the other male. However, as Shen moved his eyes towards the owls again, screams caught his ears. “What the hell..!” he let out in surprise, forgetting all about the owls. Further down at the street, there was some kind of grey fog approaching, but as they made it closer, then it appeared to be the fur of wolves. His attention was then grabbed by Summer’s call as he thereafter leaped over to her. “Tsch! I guess that the cages weren’t enough for them,” he commented. At the lower terrain, the large wolves circulated around a group of trapped tourists, something that they had to put a stop to. One wolf actually made it to his location, jumping up from the other platform and attempting to assault the lightning mage. He couldn't have that, and its movements were so predictable, in which he quickly picked up a thing from his backpack; by one swing, the reddish stick turned into a kwan dao as he was spotted over its head, while a trail of blood was shown coming from its crying jaw.

Crap, Summer didn’t know what to do. She didn’t expect a pack of wild wolves to attack the whole of the tourists and everyone was in a frenzy… it was time for the fireworks expert to put herself to work! Even better, she doesn’t even have to hide who she really was while fighting, she was always the same while fighting anyway… there was quite a lot, and they have grown humongous, taller than dongsaeng and even taller than the fireworks mage herself, and even she was quite tall for someone from chinese descent… she was 5’7 so she was as tall as some of the males. Not that it mattered…

It seemed that dongsaeng had one under control and so Summer ran to the closest wolf she could, performing a front flip before plopping herself onto the wolfs face, she placed her hand on as many furs as she could and proceeded to shoot 3 of her firework shots right against the wolfs furry head. Explosions could be heard while this was happening. The wolf went down! Summer looked around to see the owls have grown quite big too, but are being handled by the zoo staff, it meant Summer only had to worry about the wolves as of right now. Goddamnit, what the hell did the dude do! She was sure it was the man in the lab coat, it had to be!

Suddenly, the sound of a tiger roared right next to her and Summer turned around to see her tiger spirit reacted to one of the wolves that was scratching her leg. It hurt, but she was glad that the chinese zodiac were helping her throughout this stressful event.

Summer grunted as she walked towards the hyper-evolved wolf and shot three more firework shots to its chest, rendering it knocked out soon enough. 2 wolves down, Shen is taking care of one… a ton more to go!

“Dongsaeng!” Summer shouted, she didn’t know where he was, but her shouting was sure to catch his attention. “I don’t know how many wolves there are, but they need to go as soon as possible!”

Post by Yuvon 15th February 2017, 11:20 am

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
It appeared that the two other wolves approached Summer-senpai, something that began to worry him. He couldn’t leave his gaze from the other wolf that he was battling, though, because it seemed like the jealous one and pulled his attention with an ascended paw filled with pairs of scythes for claws. Smoothly, he parried the claws with his kwan dao’s blade, the long metal covering just enough areal to block the attack. He would use the impact to spin around and push the claw away, while he dove pass it. When he landed, another trail of blood was shown by his successful attack. He suddenly stood still, awaiting the canine to assault him from behind; it quickly jumped over him, preparing to devour his crushed body. However, it never got to touch him as his kwan dao was shown inside its flesh in the next view; as if the picture switched as you blinked your eye, suddenly enveloped by light from the bolts that approached.

The animal collapsed by the blood loss and fainted before Shen’s heels. Above their heads, the sky had turned grey and gloomy, while a rain was shown to appear sooner or later - completely contradictory to the atmosphere a few moments ago, which surprised Shen as well. Summer-senpai caught his attention, saying that they had to go now. He nodded quickly as he passed by, sprinting towards the lower platforms where the wolf area was located. There, a larger group of canines was shown, dashing around and causing destruction in their paths. No signs of humans were shown, except for the guards that had begun evacuating the tourists. Now, the area was emptied with innocent smiles, which both irritated the tourist himself as well as giving him an opportunity. His senpai just took down two wolves herself; as fascinated sa his face had looked like, he wanted to show her just how much that he’d improved since last time. “We should go out at them together,” he spoke, “But let me do this first…” His hands rested around the center of his body, while a bolt jumped around his fingertips. That ball of light turned into a bit larger sphere of violet currents and electrons, a ball that affected the air around Shen and Summer, in which he quickly launched it at one of the wolves. Upon impact, the bolt spread out its power and became a pillar of electric destruction that consumed two other wolves with it…

Zebras On Oblivion [Job | Senpai] Empty Re: Zebras On Oblivion [Job | Senpai]

Post by Guest 18th February 2017, 1:41 pm

    Shine down, Spark up
Watching Shen release his magic power was pretty amazing, being a lightning mage must be really hard sometimes, trying to keep up with much stronger lightning mages, but Summer thinks that her dongsaeng didn’t care. All that mattered to him was being a mage and that he was having fun with it, even if he was quite a young mage, Summer has seen a big improvement from their last mission so the fireworks mage was indeed very proud of him. Now that she thought about it, she has improved quite a lot herself, she can do more things that she didn’t think she could. It meant that she had to work harder than before, which she didn’t mind at all, but it also meant that she had to become a woman on the battlefield if anyone was to be in trouble. That’s fine though! Summer could easily make her way through that if anything was to ever happen!

The wolves continued to move closer and closer… and hearing the pointy haired males words repeat in her head, she had no choice but to agree with him. They needed a plan, but the plan should be fine… take them out without killing them, Summer could never kill these animals anyway. They were forced to become in the way they were now it seemed, it was clear that the two mages needed to investigate… but first, they should take down the remaining wolves! “Yeah! Let’s go!” The gunpowder obsessed female commanded, she wasn’t a leader as such, but damn, she was the older one here.

Thanks to the quick thinking of the tourists evacuation, only the wolves remained. This was going to make the job quicker for the lightning mage and the firework mage. “I’ll take out as many as possible, get behind me!” Summer grinned as her hands started to spark up into multi-coloured sparks, she clearly was ready to kick some furry butt!

Aiming her hand out at one of the wolves, a firework shot came out from her hand and onto the wolf, they pranced towards her at a quick speed, but they weren’t quick enough to bite her head off, she fired off another firework in quick succession and they were down too. Summer was glad that she wasn’t the type to kill things… uurgh, killing. That was the last thing she wanted to do to cute animals.

The wolves were getting dangerously close now, they needed to be taken out immediately, she had to act now. Shen was close enough to her, yeah, that’s what she will do. Summer shot up a firework into the air and grinned as she quickly waved her hand down, firework sparks literally rained everywhere, all the wolves that were near the fireworks expert and within range were knocked out by the spell. That was quickly over and done with, the most they will receive is third degree burns, but that would be fine.

“You okay??” She asked her dongsaeng, worried that he would be hurt too, he was too close for comfort, but when it came to the sparks, he had no choice.

    25% Damage Increase.
Zodiac Auras - 30m sensing presences unless they are undead/cyborgs/robots.
Zodiac Calm Affinity - Everyone within 25m of Summer feels much calmer and is less susceptible to attack her.
Zodiac’s Call - Damage cut by a quarter.

    Name: Rain of sparks
    Rank: Summer’s Rank (Currently B)
    Type: Fireworks, Offensive
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2
Description: Summer has discovered a way to make everyone experience the severe burning potential of fireworks. She will shoot a firework into the air and then the firework will burst into the air before Summer waves her hand down, the moment Summer performs this movement, the firework sparks will then proceed to rain down on every target (within a 50m radius), dealing B ranked burn damage for anyone who is hit with it. The sparks can be dodged however and if enemies are smart enough, can push her into the sparks which could make her take damage also. It is unlikely that Summer would get hurt by this spell however because the sparks don’t come into the centre (where she will initially stand)

    Strengths:
Burn damage - this can deal severe burn damage, often resulting in people suffering 3rd degree burns from the firework sparks as it rains down on them,

    Weaknesses:
Allies - This could also hurt allies in range of the spell.
Smoke - The smoke that will be left behind from this spell can most possibly tell that that Summer has been around.
Pushing - If an enemy is smart enough, they could simply push Summer into a ton of the sparks, giving her damage too.

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
The electric burst from his earlier spell kept enveloping a part of the field before them, as if it wasn’t satisfied with a short effect. It just kept raging like an everlasting fire, or rather an everlasting bolt of pure destruction. Shen had to keep his distance from it, lest it should hurt him as well. However, it could be useful. Readying his kwan dao by swinging it towards his back, the lightning mage nodded to Summer-senpai’s next words as she prepared to take them all out. He appeared behind her in a swift arrival, watching her palms light up in sparkling fireworks.

They came charging at both Summer-senpai and Shen, but they both reacted almost simultaneously by leaping away from the deadly jaws. The sparks that came out of Summer-senpai’s fireworks almost blinded him, an effect that he most likely wanted to avoid as he covered his eyes with the right arm. When the light faded, he spotted senpai almost bit off by the wolves. “Senpai!-“ he meant to warn, but she was quick on her toes and evaded the fangs with her superior movements. She was doing fine, so perhaps he should worry about himself; it wasn’t usual for him to worry too much about the others… or was it in her case? Why was he even thinking that, in which he shook the thoughts away again.

He laid a hand on her shoulder again, just before she was about to launch her next spell; a legit ball of gunpowder was sent up to the atmosphere, soon to rain down with a countless amount of burning heat and fire. Shen had to look up, spot the danger and leap back from the heating scorch that was approaching. The wolves were beginning to run away with their burns, while Shen looked over to senpai. “You and your fireworks… hehe,” he chuckled a little. He slowly stood up again and watched the leftovers of gunpowder, “It still smells strong… pft, what is this smell, anyway?”

”That, is what is known as the smell of smoke.” The female answered as she looked to her companion. The smoke was quickly invading the air and soon the staff came out to take treat all the wolves as quick as they could, of course the fireworks expert didn’t know what else to do other than keep her dongsaeng as close as possible to her. She had other goals as well, but the wellbeing of Shen was important too, considering the fact that he was much younger than her and all the tourists evacuated, which is much more helpful then the fireworks expert originally thought. That is fine though. Gives herself more time to locate the other dangerous animals and try to get them under control too before they hurt the staff that were handling the wolves, or worse, destroy the zoo structures, which would not be cool at all.

The smoke intruded the area and Summer sighed softly, glancing right in front of her. “We need to move, now, the other animals could be in trouble!” The fireworks mage added before she allowed her feet to charge up in multi-coloured sparks. Her feet were charging and she was sure that it wouldn’t be long before the Chinese girl was able to release her speed… the faster she got there, the better.

“I’ll go as fast as I can thanks to my speed spell, Shen. But for now, just hop onto me in the form of a piggy back and I will go as quick as possible until we get to the other animals that need our help.”

Summer and Shen work great as a team in her opinion, they watch out for each other well and they kept each other in a very positive attitude, seeing each other as relatives and not as close friends. It helps a lot. “Then when we are both ready, I will go as fast as I can!”

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
Summer-senpai’s voice sounded reminded by Shen’s worry, in which she… well, before Shen got to recall her answer, light emitted from the floor beneath her feet that sent her off, while he rapidly had to grab onto her back a little tighter to not fall off directly. “S-Senpaaaiiiii..!!!!” he let out in mild shock, feeling the air slap onto his face. The wolves’ fainted bodies disappeared in the blink of an eye, while he and Summer-senpai appeared on the cold, harsh floor which gave no mercy to the poor Golden Phoenix mages. Shen’s face was planting into the kerb, feeling skin crumble off his right cheek. It made a scratchy noise that almost echoed in the new place that they found themselves in…

Wait… the crumbling sound and pain wasn’t from Shen, anyway. The situation was to his and Summer-senpai’s disadvantage, because apparently, she was the only hurt one. “Hey… are you okay or… what..?” he struggled to ask while settling his shaken mind. He moved his gaze down at Summer-senpai’s collapsed body, noticing that she felt quite troubled by something- oh, it was him that was the issue at the moment. What were the odds that he would stand in her way again? “!” Almost instantly after her question, Shen stood on the kerbs beside her on his own feet, looking at his feet while crossing arms for some shameful reason. He shouldn’t act like a troublesome child to her, and the mere thoughts of it made his teeth grind. Although, gorillas appeared to be their next opponents now; despite being a slightly down Shen, he wouldn’t lack fighting lust at all. She noted them, in which Shen’s foot was slammed right on a gorilla’s chin, sending its head and body upwards by the sudden force. It was sent towards the others, tipping them like a game of bowling, while Shen landed oh so elegantly on his kung fu footwear. A quick glance was sent at the kwan dao that he looked at; perhaps he should activate the B.U.R.S.T mechanism now… although, he decided to wait with that until later.

At first, Summer was dumbfounded, why was the man worried about her back? The poor lad didn’t need to, yet he was. “Ah well, too late now!!!!” The fireworks expert shouted, grinning wildly as she nonchalantly thought that she wouldn’t get back pain or anything of the sort. She may be a gymnast but she was pretty sure that she kept her body in tip-top shape to even get back problems in the first place. That is, unless something crucial happened, like backstabbing, for example.

With that conversation over, the fireworks expert dashed off ever so happily, it wasn’t that long of a distance but the fireworks expert made sure that she would run there as fast as she can, she was the type of person to go as fast as she can after all, what do people expect of her?? To just cause destruction everywhere?? Nah, Summer wasn’t like that at all. She was more of the type of show off and not care about her actions when it came to many more things than herself.

Suddenly, while running as fast as she can thanks to shooting star, Summer tripped over so suddenly and slid across the concrete of the floor, having an epic fight with the floor (of course, the floor won.) Luckily Shen was not hurt by this, but it was still pretty painful and the fact that she was struggling to get up from the floor meant that the floor was dragging her down with its forces of gravity. Summer’s fight with the aftermath continued, however! It took some time for the fireworks expert to groan, no wonder she couldn’t get up! Shen was on top of her still.

“Dongsaeng, can you… get off me??” The fireworks expert asked before she heard the cries of gorillas. Oh god, GORILLAS?! Oh no… Gorillas are a very bad idea to face against, and if they have grown extremely large, then the femme fatale may have been underestimating the day's activities. They still have to find out what caused the whole thing, actually. “Dongsaeng, gorillas.” She noted.

Dongsaeng seemed to comply to the fireworks expert pretty quickly, and it didn’t take long at all to get back into action. There was no time to even answer any of the questions that Shen even posed on her because of how much panic set on her. There were quite a few gorilla’s to take down without killing them. This was going to be hard, she heard of an incident not too long ago about a gorilla getting tranqued for some stupid reason, which eventually killed off the gorilla, if tranqs can kill gorilla,s then theres no mistake as to what the female could actually do with her firework magic. No matter, it was time to take some out!

Getting up quickly, Summer stared at the gorillas before they looked much more calmer than when Shen decided to show them his moves. In fact, the gorilla’s looked completely normal, apart from the fact that their arms were huge, they looked like they could crush some skills with nothing but raw power, and this was worrying. No matter, it was time for Summer to show off what she could really do.

Seeing all the gorilla’s, Summer grinned as she knew what she could do again. She released a firework shot into the air before sending it straight down once more. It was pretty handy from the fireworks expert if she must say so herself, and it burnt all the gorilla’s too. The only thing she was worried about was dongsaeng, since Shen didn’t really have anything to protect himself from the burns that he was going to receive from Summer, so the zodiac child pulled Shen into the centre with her to avoid him getting all the burns too.

“You okay??” The fireworks expert asked as she forced him to hug her tightly. She was nervous, the gorilla’s will probably attack the both of them a lot now… It was no use, they had to put in a lot more to take these gorilla’s down. To only think that something drastic caused such an issue, she hated to see it, she well and truly hated everything that was involved with these poor things.

“Your move.” Summer gently broke off the hug with Shen so he could do his bit. She hoped that they could take down the gorilla’s in time with no issue at all. It seemed that there was going to be quite a few issues, however.

Zebras On Oblivion [Job | Senpai] Empty Re: Zebras On Oblivion [Job | Senpai]

Post by Yuvon 9th March 2017, 11:17 am

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
Shen’s eyes focused on the look on the gorillas after the last assault. They looked calmer… perhaps they feared to intervene? Maybe they realized the futility of their rampage? He was hoping for the best, in which he kept holding onto the kwan dao with a firm grip. While turning his gaze downwards, he made the gorillas do the same out of curiosity. That was his opening as he sprinted away, leaving the distracted apes to his senpai. Get them good, senpai..!, he thought as the sky above his head turned into one, big rainbow of dust and wild fire. There were, now that he fathomed the entirety of the fireworks, a bit too much in such a large area for his speed to avoid it all alone.

That was when Summer-senpai had tugged him into a hug, so that he avoided getting burnt by the flames. At first, he was astonished by her reaction time, but also a little confused of the hug thing, until he felt the heat touching his back like a duvet. He rapidly swung his arms around her waist to get closer, in which he prevented some serious damage to be thrown upon him. S-She just keeps worrying… about me…, he began thinking during the fire rain, slowly lifting his face up to hers. He really hated the feeling… being that dependent on another person symbolized not only compassion for him, but also lack of-

His negative thinking was broken by her next words, in which the picture turned clearer than before. He just wasn’t used to cooperating, but that issue had faded away slowly with her presence. Now that she had her trust in him, then he had to trust her as well when the time called for it. Just like when she protected him. He opened his eyes after that thought, straight at the apes. Slowly, he pulled out the other weapon in his arsenal - the silver shone, reflecting the heavy sunlight. “There are too many to take down one by one,” he surprisingly calmly spoke, “I have to bring them down with one, big attack.” His red eye turned towards his senpai. “Don’t worry about yourself; this time, I’ll watch over you.” As the words were spoken, he swung out the collapsible blade and expressed its majesty, before sending it straight down the earth.

    S.W.O.R.D..!

In the blink of an eye, the gorillas found themselves caught in a net of… weapons? Just how many were there… even Shen was quite surprised by the sheer amount of such bloodthirsty equipments. The apes looked alive enough, but their movements were restricted. Sighing, he lifted up two fingers. “Forgive me for the pain, but you have to sleep for a little while,” he excused, before sending off a small bolt that reacted with the pure metal, sending all the apes into a state of faint. Their heavy breathes began calming into those of slumber, which caused a smile on Shen’s face. He still had some animals to watch after all this menace…

Watching her dongsaeng release what he could really intrigued the fireworks expert, she was glad that her dongsaeng was there for her, they both worked like a real team and they both worked like they were family… this motivated her a lot to protect Shen even more than usual. She had a lot more going for her as of right now, and she had to keep an eye on Shen, he seemed to be doing okay and all the gorillas just needed to be medicated for whatever happened to them. Right now, there was no need to worry about the gorillas. There was a need to check the other animals that could be just as affected as the gorilla’s which looked ready to take the chinese duo out, but there was no taking out them both just yet, Summer and Shen worked really well together and she was sure that it would help them during this time of need.

“Good job, dongsaeng… We should work together like this more in the future.” The older female suggested as she then ruffled the hair of the younger male. It was strange… they both were completely different people, yet they still worked rather well together, it was indeed a very cool thing to consider. Especially since they are in the same guild and will probably be in the same guild until something happens to affect the guild, Summer herself or her dongsaeng.

“I do hope that we will find out what caused them all to go crazy, however.” Summer bit her lower lip in an anxious manner, she was starting to get desperate, desperate to find out how much trouble the culprit has caused exactly to make sure that they have everything more than checked out. It was better to be safe than sorry after all for various reasons.

“We should continue ahead, dongsaeng.” Summer suggested “There could be even more animals in trouble that need us, I don’t want to keep thinking about that.” Although Summer didn’t want to admit it, she had a funny feeling there was even more than the animals like gorillas rampaging around. “I can sense so many more that need crucial attention.”

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
The scene had grown calmer now that the gorillas, most likely the wildest of animals, were sleeping like if it was night. The clouds still gathered up in the skies, but the soft rain that fell kind of eased the situation. It was a warm rain, comforting for Shen’s spirit. He quickly lifted up the speared sword from the ground, causing its blade to collapse into the shaft again. He sighed heavily, before turning his gaze back at Summer-senpai. She sounded so pleased for his aid, in which a small halo appeared on top of his head in pride. I’ll still get stronger… keep watching me, he thought as she ruffled his spiked hair. “You mentioned a white-cloaked male earlier, right..?” he commented. At first, Summer-senpai had gone out to confront that strange man, but as soon as she lost him out of sight, the wild roared beyond the cages.

“If we find this man, then perhaps we can find some kind of cure… either that or he planned to take himself with the others as hostages for those beasts,” he continued. It was more likely that the cloaked man had a key to stop the incident. And as Senpai mentioned that many more people were having troubles downtown, then it only worried Shen as well. “… Okay. We have to find that man whom you saw earlier,” he stated with an iron will, set in stone and ready for action. He quickly held a hand over his left eye, locking in the light that erupted from it as he looked into the unknown. What he saw in that moment were fangs and teeth flying around, until he suddenly had to push himself and Summer-senpai to the side in order to dodge the ambushing fangs and claws of four predators. Large wings and with mohawks were the last thing that he saw in the vision, until his eye strained itself, causing a slight pain onto him.

Holding his eye, he slowly looked up at what would only be tigers. His bag had been ripped apart by their claws, revealing the lost plushie at the other side. “M-My…” he stammered. Those were the main attraction of this tour, and now, he had to face them in combat?! Fate was being unfair…

Upon hearing the question from the younger male, Summer looked at him with her olive eyes and nodded with some speed attached. “Yeaaah.” She answered as she then looked to the sky, she was pretty sure that the man was the who caused all the havok. Why would someone do such a thing to harmless animals?? They done nothing in the world and now for them to go this crazy… it was unreal… completely unreal. Summer wanted to make it her job now to help all these animals along with her handy partner, the thunder mage known as Shen.

“I agree.” Summer replied to Shen the moment he commanded that the both of them had to find that man they seen earlier. “The earlier we find that man then the better are our chances of him not being ab-”

Summer stopped in the middle of her speech the moment she was pushed over to the side by dongsaeng. She was confused at first and was even about to curse in a typical modern fashion until she seen the reason why Shen performed such an action. Large wings invaded her vision and that was when Summer seen it… The tigers… Shen’s favourite animal. They seemed to have changed too, and it didn’t impress the fireworks expert at all. In fact, it made her kinda angry. All 4 of them seemed to move quite fast, it was devastating.

Hopping up, Summer looked around before she decided to set up a nice little wall made out of fireworks to surround the pair of them and all the tigers. “Do not fear, dongsaeng.” The only Guiyang told her counterpart. “This wall will not let them leave at all. Do your best! These tigers need our help!” Summer knew what she was doing, she was trying to encourage Shen because she couldn’t imagine how Shen was feeling right now. She would probably feel the same if someone she liked was turned into a monster of some sort.

The scariest dreams... are the predictable ones.
Shen’s eyes were still locked onto the flying cats, their teeth reflecting the faint light emitting through the clouds that covered the sky above them. Why tigers, of all beasts, why should they fight him? It was like visiting your home and getting assaulted by your own big brother. Now, Shen could relate that to himself at some points, but he didn’t really want to think of them right now. Oh, his beloved tigers… he finally caught his sense when a wall of blitzing fireworks surrounded the gang. He slowly pushed himself up and looked at Summer-senpai, who was still focused and ready to not let them down. She was planning to keep them trapped here, so the two phoenixes could take them on without fearing that they would flee. It was, though, quite difficult to get a foothold for Shen who adored tigers as if they were his third family.

“…” His fists clenched a lot, almost at the point where blood trickled down from his condyles. If these tigers really wanted a battle, then why the hell was he just standing there like a freaked, little kid? After rebuke, he immediately went into action as he pulled out his kwan dao and pointed it towards the flock. Usually, tigers didn’t even live in flocks at all, but now that they grew wings and longer fangs, then that statement was understated. In one leap, he directly faced one of the tigers as the others intended to gang up on his in mid-air. Although, the metallic blade suddenly flung everywhere in a huge rush as Shen’s kwan dao flinched all the tigers around him at once. It was like a dance of blades, metal flying everywhere as though he literally was everywhere at once. The tigers, though, recovered fast and began to split up, until they gathered all around the two Golden Phoenix mages in a circle, each ready to try and devour one of them at any time…

    Shine down, Spark up
Now Summer knew it was time to be deadly serious. These were tigers, the animals that Shen so desperately loved and adored. Luckily, Summer knew that her wall was going to seriously help the duo, but she didn’t know what to do next, nor does she know what Shen will do at all. Placing her feet in a starting sprint position with one of her hands on the floor, she prepared for her master plan. It needed to be done, like, now. This was going to bring all the tigers in a state of discomfort, she knew that quite well, but she also knew that it would make the tigers clueless and all in a panicked state. She didn’t know what Shen was going to do either until it was too late and the deed was done. It was indeed amazing, this was her moment now to continue the assault.

Going into a handstand and into a crab for the reasons of complete flair, the female then stood up and ran before performing a somersault, landing onto the tigers back in complete style. “I am sorry… Please, dear tigers, forgive me for everything I am about to do to you… I am sorry, Shen! This must be done!” Summer placed her hands against the tigers back, taking no prisoners as she started to blast firework shots until the tiger started to fall down slowly. Summer jumped from the tigers back and went even crazier, using the same method for all the tigers until they were all on the floor. Summer’s quick thinking surely has saved Shen some trouble, he was finding it hard to cope with the fact that he had to face tigers.

What also didn’t take long, was the wall, Summer allowed the wall to come down on it’s own accord and she bit her lower lip as she stood in front of her dongsaeng. “I am sorry.” Summer sighed softly before looking around her… there was a strange substance on the floor, it didn’t look that particularly fancy, instead, it looked really out of the place… It smelt like blood, yet it was green, the colour of acid and all things toxic. That was never a good sign, it was almost as if they were experimented on.

“I think they were tested on, dongsaeng.” She bit her lower lip as she shook her head, kneeling down to check the green liquid. Yeah, it was blood, and the blood was tampered with. The two were most certainly getting closer.

The scariest dreams... are the ones who will come true.
It was easy for the lightning mage to grind his teeth at the scene with all the three tigers being hostile, but if it was on their own accord, then he would’ve understood it. However, his senpai jumped into action sooner than expected; perhaps she tried to keep them from hurting him? Shen was already hurt enough… did she see it? Feel it? He could only guess things like that as she began firing down the flying felines one by one. He didn’t want to be left behind and stepped forward, but it appeared that the wall that Summer-senpai had manifested was going to keep him both safe and locked away from the present action.

When the wall ceased, Shen could spot his plushie at the other side of the road. He quickly picked it up and tightened the grab a little, feeling quite emotionally unstable. Despite usually being so cold and straightforward at most times, this specific experience softened him to the point where it made him turn out like a child again. Oh, how he hated that fact. In the end, he sure felt like one when Summer-senpai stood in front of him and apologized. “… I-It’s nothing,” he replied while turning his face away, only to spot the very same liquid that flew out of the slain predators. Senpai’s theory was that they were being mere test subjects, an idea that did nothing but enrage him to the point where bristling thunder travelled around his skin. “Whoever finds this funny… he’s a dead man.” A loud roar was then heard in the background, combined with what felt like earthquakes, but really was the steps of countless, large… elephants? At first, Shen questioned the possibility for an elephant to roar that loud, but the source of that roar showed itself in form of the king of beasts, walking in front of the army of animals…

So far, so good. Everything was going smoothly and the two of them were still alive, that was always a good thing to consider when it came to the both of them, Summer knew that they both had to protect each other, as they both couldn’t cover everything, on the bright side. They had nice synergy and that was what mattered.

Shen seemed to have his focus back the moment Summer noted the substance on the floor, she kind of felt bad that the animals had to deal with such torture, but what else could the two do right now?? They had a zoo and the animals to protect at the same time. It was indeed a tough job on the go, but the ladies and gentlemen that were at the zoo that day were sure to appreciate it, not that Summer and Shen noticed, but she was sure they were glad they arrived. “Dongsaeng, as much as we both want to kill him. We’d have nooses around our necks if we did.” Summer had a point, they’d both be in a lot of trouble if they started finding the man and simply killed him. “It will be much better to look for him and send him to the council.” Summer sighed softly. She wasn’t usually the one to prefer the council’s wishes, but what the man did was really wrong. Why would someone torture the animals?? That was well and truly one sick bastard that left horrendous aftereffects, that the chinese members of Golden Phoenix had to remedy in one way or another.

Suddenly, roars could be heard once more, and it seemed to be parading elephants… That was insane. Summer knew it was time to have some quick second thinking and grabbed her dongsaeng before placing him over her shoulder. “Keep that plushie safe, tiger lover! We’re gonna kick some butt in justice for animal abuse!” Summer announced as ran towards the elephants and threw Shen atop of one before climbing onto the same elephant herself, they may be acting like rabid animals, but having a ride didn’t seem that particularly bad. It would also give the two a glimpse of what was going on… it was terrible. What was more terrible was the source of the roars was coming straight for the two!

“Back off!!!” Summer grunted as she left the king of the animals fly straight at her, she then allowed the lion to collide in with her, flying at such speeds until she was a pancake on a wall… Luckily, Summer only seemed to have received minor pain with this and began to smother the lion with all sorts of dusty particles, petting him as if he was a brainless dog before throwing the creature into the air and clicking her fingers, which caused a fireworks explosion and for the lion to become a personal firework. The lion quickly crashed onto the floor before getting up ever so angrily.

“Shen better stay on them elephants…” Summer bit her lower lip.

The scariest dreams... are the ones who will come true.
Summer-senpai made a good point there. Shen’s anger had kept him from seeing the light and issue of what would happen if he let his vengeful spirit get what it wanted. Besides, when he joined Golden Phoenix on that sacred day, he made a clear promise as soon as his foot stepped on the guildhall. He had better keep that promise, in which he wiped his nose with his thumb. “… Roger,” he replied to Summer-senpai. The mission was still clear as ever for him, so he let his anger extinguish as it would disrupt his focus. However, if he was to cross the guy, then surely he would be up for a good beating from the two Chinese…

… He didn’t realize it until it had already happened. His mind was a little lost when he saw Summer-senpai lift him up like large piece of meat. His plushie was held between his hands tightly, but this scene was ridiculous. Shen barely said a word when she charged right for the threat; a horde of mutated elephants with speed like rabbits and razor-sharp tusks. “… This is insane,” he calmly commented the scene. He was allowed to sit on the elephant again, which he just waited for so long; being lifted around like a child was no good for him. Listening to the elephants’ shouts, he suddenly got a little curious… that wasn’t the same roar as earlier. Just as he realized that, a scream for Senpai’s name was let out of him as she was slammed into by the mutant cat; a large manticore had launched her towards a wall with insane speed. “Damn it..!” he spoke whilst the manticore looked straight at him. Its teeth were intimidating with blood for saliva running between them. He didn’t wait for the opponent to strike at him, though; that wasn’t Shen. Instead, a heel was planted onto its forehead, boosted by a stream of lightning that covered his foot. It sent the abomination down, crashing onto the surface. The elephant beneath had suddenly tripped over it, in which Shen leapt off it to avoid getting smashed.

He didn’t leave it just there. Just as he was midair, a bolt was circling around his palm. First purple, then completely white with lightning jumping from fingertip to fingertip. "Stay down, you freak..!!!" The manticore-looking griffin had got up on its feet when Shen slammed the Volt Grenade at its head, forcing it down to the ground again and causing a pillar of exploding volts to surround the area around him and the beast
