GRACEFULLY DANGEROUS

”Finally…” a feminine voice grumbled as the door to the Dragonfly opened up in a gentle manner. She finally made it after getting lost constantly. She guessed that was just a small issue when it comes to being kinda new around the area, not that it mattered much, she found the bar and that is all that matters. Finally, the female closed the door to the bar on her own and turned around to see what was being presented to her. Yup, it looked like the bar that her and Brad went to when they helped at a wedding, but different at the same time. Maybe it was just the same atmosphere or maybe the smell of the drinks counted towards the fact that it was the same drinks that were being served… maybe she could get what she had when she was with Brad at the wedding??

The fire maiden walked slowly, letting the sound of her boots invade the area, gazing around with her red eyes in desperation to find Ardere. It didn’t take that long to find the fire king, but it most certainly took some time to notice that Ardere was around in the first place. She was expecting a big bulking man in armour… nope. What she got instead was a man in a yukata… godamnit, if she knew he was wearing a yukata she would have worn something more casual herself, and not what she would typically wear everyday, which was also a yukata… too late now.

“Ah, greetings.” The female stepped forward to see Ardere and another male she has met a couple of times already. “Greetings to you too, sir.” She bowed down to both of them once she said her hellos. Misayo then bowed back up and smiled lightly to the two men. “How are you both?? Fine, I assume??”

The fire maiden smiled softly as she gave off a slight bow in return. She didn’t know she would have to give off a little bow but she eventually had to, considering it would only be polite to bow back. She had to bow a lot herself back at the shrine when someone visited, so it was weird to bow down again. However, she was getting used to it once more and she was sure that she will fully get used to it once she has bowed enough times while being in Infinity Hydra. “Thankyou, good sir.” Misayo smiled softly in her reply “And I am doing okay, I guess, just keeping myself busy here and there I didn’t know a mage could be such hard work.” The fire maiden admitted this because she was new to the whole idea of being a mage, but she was still having lots of fun nonetheless.

Sitting down upon Ardere’s discretion, the femme watched as the fire king poured out two cups of sake, just for her and Chris. Misayo smiled happily as she heeded Ardere’s words. “Yes, I am indeed old enough, so do not worry.” She mentioned politely before gripping the cup with both of her hands and brought the drink to her lips. It smelt… strong, to say the least. That was when she then proceeded to have her fill and poured only some of the liquid down her throat. Oh my, that really was strong.

Placing the cup down, she exhaled while forcing herself to not bring up her guts from the sheer strength of the sake and then listened to her guildmasters words. It seemed that there was two choices that Chris and Misayo could pick, Chris picked out sightseeing and even though Misayo would prefer to sit down and just have a casual chat, she figured it would be a good idea to see everything first, it might be of use to her in the near future.

“Ah, I do not mind if I go do a bit of sightseeing myself. Being someone who has been quite sheltered my whole life, it may be a good idea indeed.” She wasn’t lying, being at a shrine for almost her whole life… kinda sucked.

The moment Ardere slammed his sake down onto the counter, Misayo jumped slightly before she shook her head. She didn’t think the man would be able to slam it down, even if it wasn’t powerful or anything of the sort, it was just the typical bar drink slamming that you would normally expect in a bar, well, it was in her opinion anyway. That was when the guild master wanted the duo to follow him for some sightseeing, Misayo was a bit excited over that fact because the whole of Hosenka gave off that feeling of peace and tranquility, just like her shrine used to before it was completely destroyed by her insane father. It wasn’t his fault that insanity ran in the family, but it would indeed help if it didn’t cause him to go absolutely mad. “I will let you know indeed!” Misayo responded in her typical manner, graceful yet professional at the same time.

Exiting the restaurant, she was given the benefit of the doubt thanks to Chris himself letting her exit before him. She did so, making sure to bow down lightly in thanks before she exited completely. She was always told to be kind and nice to others, even if she was a bit of an observer. Not that she minded, she was doing rather well for someone who has lived a sheltered life.

The group were lead past quite a few things actually. Bars, shops and all things that just squealed everything that reminded her of home. It gave her a weird feeling in her stomach to say the least, she wanted to go back home… but she knows fine well that going back home would be completely impossible now. It was destroyed, and that sucked the most about her shrine. She cannot dwell on the past now however, she had various other things to do around here, like the sightseeing that she was doing right now.

Listening to Ardere speak, then hearing Chris speak afterwards, she decided it was her time to speak, starting off with a little chuckle she shook her head. “This reminds me too much of the shrine I had back home.” She sighed softly. “It was a lovely shrine, I must admit.”

There was a lot of things that happened at her shrine, but there was one that she would like to keep secret. All that anyone really needed to know was that something happened to it. She didn’t want them to know just how loony her father was, that wouldn’t be cool at all!

Soon, Ardere gave out two main choices that the duo could have a little gawks-worth around: the casino or the shops. She wasn’t a shrine maiden anymore, so the casino sounded like a good idea. The shops were probably going to remind her too much of home anyway, which isn’t something she really wants.

“I would like to go to the casino.” Misayo smiled softly as she looked to Chris and then glanced towards her guild master in her usual calm manner, observing their body language to try find out their opinions first hand before they had the chance to reply to her. “I have never been to one personally. I have always wanted to know what one is like, especially since I do not know much about how entertainment goes around here.” She wasn’t lying. She was never allowed to go to a casino in her whole life. Her father even got furious when he found her that her and Kenji bought electronics. Maybe she could tell Kenji how the stroll went on her iLac later, that sounds like a great idea…

“Of course, that is if both of you do not mind, of course.” Misayo didn’t want to be pushy or arrogant. If they did not agree with her, then they could always go to the shops, that way it was all even.
