Runaway Gingerbread - Part 1 - [Job] [Arz/Yazuki]

Zeno walked slowly in the forest as the wind nipped at him making his front blonde hair go up, on the right of Zeno was a most mysterious man, but Zeno sensed strong magic flowing from him. "So, let me get this straight. A gingerbread is alive and running around. And we just have to kick it's ass right?" Zeno inquired as he scratched the back of his head and his partner continuously nodded.

As Tito looked around the forest his eyes popped out of it's sockets, "How the hell are we gonna find a damn gingerbread man, in a forest this big!?!?!?" Tito yelled as him and Zeno ran in circles, like a pair of idiots. But they halted, realizing that they had a strategy to find this son of a bitch, "Tito you take up high, me and Yazuki will look down here and you notify us if you see something." Zeno said giving off a infectious smile because he came up with a good idea that could actually work if it was played out right.

As they were going with the plan, Zeno already got bored from looking as they had found no trace of a gingerbread anywhere and begun to pout as his idea wasn't working the way he wanted it too. "Maybe we could lure it here?" Tito inquired as he flew too the ground. As Zeno considered it and rethought for a while, he agreed with Tito's idea, "What do you think of his idea?" Zeno asked Yazuki as his feline companion continuously nodded.

Yazuki watched as the kid sprung into action trying to develop strategies with his exceed. It amused him to see how they acted, but the kid seemed to get bored quickly. He kept a keen eye out for the gingerbread man, not really seeing anything for a good time. Then the Exceed made a good sound call. Lure it to them, but how? He pondered the question for a moment, then struck his head with his hand. His new found abilities gave him better senses, why wasn't he trying to Sniff for it? It was a little guy made out of cookie after all!

"Hold on, let me see something. Lure it if you can but I may be able to locate him." Takumi was talking serious for the first time in a while. He started sniffing the air and immediately started to smell the smell of gingerbread. Why didn't he think of this before. He started to try to find which location it was coming from, finding the strongest smell coming from north of them. "THIS WAY!" Yazuki yelled, running towards the smell. It brought the group to a small clearing. Yazuki started getting a stronger smell, then realized why a second later as a gingerbread man ran straight at them.

"Do you know the Muffin MAN!" the little monster squealed. Yazuki looked at Arz with a sly smile.

"Found him buddy. You first." Yazuki looked expectantly at the kid as the gingerbread monstrosity ran in their general direction. He didn't know how serious the kid would fight. After all, the kid was a little quirky and acted a little hyper. Maybe today Yazuki would see a different side of him.

As they followed Yazuki who smelt the gingerbread man, they encountered a gingerbread who kept squealing about some muffin man. "Let's do this!" Zeno said as Tito grabbed him and flew up high in the sky. "Now drop me!" Zeno said as his face suddenly became a serious one as he was dropped, i'll just give him a hit that he won't forget! Zeno thought as he cried "Crimson Flame : Iron Fist!" but he hit the ground, but little did they know that was his strategy. When he had hit the ground it began to break apart like an earthquake causing the Gingerbread to be vulnerable and unable to move as he was in the air, "Gotcha now bastard!" Zeno yelled as he punched the gingerbread to a tree with his fist engulfed with Crimson Flames. 

As the gingerbread slammed into the tree, Zeno smirked as cracked his knuckles, "Easy Peasy! Your turn Yazuki!" Zeno yelled as he gave an infectious smile, which could inspire anyone to love him, after all that was probably his best feature. He gave Yazuki a thumbs up meaning, you're good to go. Show me your moves! If you are as strong as you say you are, then I need you on my team! Zeno thought as he watched Yazuki fight without looking away for a single second. Zeno and Tito were looking for a team, so they were thinking about asking him to join as they need someone with a lot of great talent.

Yazuki watched as the kid seemed to actually have a plan. His battle strategy was better than Yazuki would have guessed. Maybe it would be ok to have this kid around. He thought about which move to as he approached the gingerbread man. As Arz made his connection he was sure of what he needed to do: he was gonna impress this kid. Overkill was always the best medicine, especially when demolishing stuff was his forte. He paused as the gingerbread man hit the tree. He began to sprint towards the little monster as it fell to the ground, still cloaked in flames. Rage or blow, he thought. He was getting close. He would need to make his choice soon. 'Screw it, time to show this kid what a slayer can do.'

Yazuki opened his mouth, gathering lightning in preparation. He was a little sure of himself, and put his whole being into this Rage.
"Thunder Demon's Rage!" he screamed As he reached his target. He bellowed the lightning forward, hitting the gingerbread man. The blast hit all the trees in the area, burning them faster than most fires could. He stopped his Rage, realizing that these trees were part of guild turf, but the trees behind the poor ashes of the gingerbread man were already burnt to a crisp. Suddenly he realized that he may have REALLY over did it. Well, this was probably the reason why he always seemed to get into trouble. Yazuki scratched the back of his head. Maybe he should use his more Backed attacks on things that wouldn't be killed so easily.
"Oops, might have put a little bit too much umph into that one. All well," he said looking down at the pile of ashes. "The thing is gone. Let's go collect some jewel and grab a bite to eat."

Zeno smirked as he stared at Yazuki, He's the one! We need him on our team! I didn't even show him quarter of my strength! Damn! Zeno though as he praised Yazuki for his feat. "Foooooood!" Zeno and Tito both yelled in passion as Zeno forgot the thought as soon as food was mentioned. "Let's Go!" Tito yelled as the two followed Zeno's feline companion.
