    Magic

    Primary Magic: Magnet Force

    Caster or Holder: Caster
    Description: Von commands the power of magnetism, pretty straight forward. He controls it seemingly telepathically with as little as a thought all the metal in his vicinity instantly becomes his weapon. From ripping armor off knights to impaling you with a fork Von does it all with little to no effort on his end. One real distinguishable feature of this magic compared to other magnet based magic is that Von can not only give and take away magnetic fields from things but he can also make non-magnetic substances magnetic easy as you like. This twist on his power frees him from the limits that most magnet mages suffer from lack of available metal.

    Von prefers to fight by first gathering everything magnetic around him into a ring orbiting him then he attacks and defends using the gathered magnetic objects. Usually his attacking is just launching sharp objects at high speeds and his defending is forming everything he can into a wall to defend from oncoming attacks. He only uses his ability to give and take magnetic properties when using naturally magnetic objects is no longer an option as it takes more magic power then normal and it seems wasteful to use when there are other options. However he uses his ability to create magnetic fields a bit more generously, using it on his foe to make it harder for them to dodge metal projectiles as they will be drawn to the magnetic field Von puts on his opponent or in extreme cases give them such a powerful magnetic field that all nearby metal will smother them. In tight spots Von may gather large amounts of electromagnetic energy to attack directly without using metal as a medium.
    Strengths:
    -Passive Power: This magic has a lot of useful passive abilities so Von can fight effectively without consuming much magic.
    -Environment? I see no environment, only weapons: Since his magic lets him turn magnetic objects into his own 'weapons' and potentially turn non-magnetic objects into magnetic ones, the world is his weapon.
    -Fundamental Force of Reality:  Von commands magnetism one of the fundamental forces of reality, it's absolute, you can't disable it or impede it without magnet magic of your own, it just is and won't stop.  With some exceptions (see weaknesses).
    -Metal mages beware: It should go without saying Von has more then a slight edge on metal mages. Von is capable of stopping same rank or below metal projectiles as long as they are within his field, and manipulate other metal spells of the same rank or below.
    Weaknesses:
    -My own little world: Von's abilities only work within 20 meters of himself in any direction, a micrometer farther away and he is powerless.
    -Weight Limit: Von maxes out at 200 kilograms of metal at any given moment, he cannot hold any more then that.
    -It doesn't do wood: While normally with the cost of a bit of magic power Von can make anything magnetic regardless of the substance, for some reason it doesn't do wood. It just doesn't work, no matter how hard he tries it doesn't do wood.
    -Concentrate you fool!: Distractions can make Von drop everything, like legit drop everything. But it takes no simple distraction to break his concentration, only the most crazy of shit.
    -There are exceptions: While magnetism is a powerful and usually absolute force it does have it's banes. Heat and radiation can disrupt spells of the same rank or lower, and large entities of either force can disrupt Von's field around them.

    Abilities/Powers:
    -Electromagnetic Field: There is a 20 meter in radius sphere around Von, any metal within it is his to command and bludgeon people with as he will. However this is passive level magic, any D-Rank or stronger magic will over power it or C-Rank or greater passive magic. The magic within strong and higher level weapons and armor protect them from Von's magnetic power.
    -All the magnets!: Consuming 10% of his magic power Von causes everything within 5 meters of him to become magnetic so he can manipulate them as if they were metal, this includes the ground, and any objects. The effect wears off after three posts.
    -Be the magnet: Consuming 5% of his magic power for each post that it is active Von can make himself magnetic and use it in a variety of ways. While under this effect Von can manipulate his magnetic field to allow him to fly, he can use it to enhanced his physical abilities allowing him to run at speeds up to 20 miles per hour and wield strength equal to his physical strength and his magnetic power stacked on top of each other.

    Name: Enhanced Magnetism
    Rank: D
    Type: Magnetic, Offensive
    Description: Von closes his eyes and holds his arms out to either side clenching them into fists, then releases a yellow pulse of light that spreads out through the area effected by his magnetic field and then dissipates. What this does is increase the power of Von's field, when passive attacks with it does 'logic' damage the same way weapons or melee do; however under the effect of this spell such attacks do D-Rank damage and Von's upper limit for weight capacity increase by 30 kilograms. Another benefit is that strong weapons that were previously immune to Von's abilities are now subject to his power and under the effect of "All the magnets!" and this spell Von can also control living things, however only those within 5 meters of him, he cannot use them as scrap metal material for spells and he can only use half as much force against them as he could other objects.  
    Strengths:
    -Extra Power Never Hurt: Von's base powers are amplified by a great deal, not only boosting his passive attacks but bumping his other attacks to 150% of their base power.
    -Don't get too close: While this is in effect if you have any metal on you Von will be sending you for a ride.
    -Limit Break!: This spell effectively allows Von to easily surpass his upper limits for a short time, which may not only take his opponents by surprise but can allow for extra power when it is needed most.
    Weaknesses:
    -Not the best time to blink: Closing his eyes is an important part of casting this spell as it is pivotal to increasing his focus, so it leaves him vulnerable to attack for a short time.
    -Concentrate: If Von takes damage while this spell is in effect it is cancelled.
    -The Crash: For 1 post after this spell ends Von's spells do 50% less damage then normal and his magnetic field is reduced to half power.
    -Cooldown/Duration: 4 posts/2 posts

    Name: Scrap Metal Spear

    Type: Magnetic, Metal, Offensive
    Description: Von gathers metal, shreds it and then forms it into a conical spear with nothing more then a thought.  He then points a finger at his target and uses his magnet powers to launch the spear at the target. The spear travels at roughly 50 miles per hour and spins at speeds around 70 miles per hour.

    This picture is a bit inaccurate as the spear is made of scrap metal not blood, but it's the right shape and size.
    Strengths:
    -Simplicity is power: Hard to go wrong with a fast flying spinning spear thing.
    -Now you've dodged it once, now you dodged it twice, now you realize it's no use: After launching the spear  as long as it remains within his magnetic field Von can steer the spear as much as he wants with his telekinetic control of magnetism. Dodging and evasion won't get you far against this projectile.
    -Range: While normally Von cannot manipulate metal beyond his field he ran launch this spear as far as 5 meters beyond his field although he will loose his ability to steer it once it leaves that range.
    Weaknesses:
    -Metal is metal: While the attack and magnetism behind the attack are magical and powerful the metal he uses is just stuff he has on hand and can be broken easily compared to magic metal.
    -Bad Economics: Von is limited to the metal nearby, to cast this spell he has to sufficient metal on hand.
    -One Directional: While Von can steer the spear at will, it's only got one point and an indirect hit won't hurt very much.
    -Cooldown/Duration: 4 post cooldown/Von can steer the spear for as long as 3 posts

    Type: Magnetic, Offense
    Description: Von shreds some of his metal and molds it around his hand, he then clenches it into a fist super charging it with electromagnetic energy. Once charged he uncurls his fist and launches an open palmed strike with the hand coated in metal, now there are few things that go into this attack that make it a hell of an attack. First Von's control of magnetism lets him increase the power of his strike by overlapping his magnetic force on top of his physical strength and second the super charging of electromagnetic energy delivers a painful zap that can stun and disorientate his opponent for a few seconds, the effect will last no more then a post.
    Strengths:
    -Super mega electro-punch: Electric mega metal palm strike, this stings like a bitch for 1.5xD-Rank damage
    -Tazer hand powers go!: Getting hit by this attack sends a real shock to the nervous system that can disorient, stun and potentially knock out a person. D-Rank mages are going to have a bad time with this, those that are particularly weak of body are likely to find themselves seeing stars. C-Rank mages aren't going to be effected too terribly by this and B-Rank and higher mages will be able to shake this effect off without a second thought.
    -Fail Safe: If something happens to make Von want to abort his strike or just get the heck out of dodge he can use his command of magnetism to throw his metal coated fist (And by consequence himself) the heck out of there.
    Weaknesses:
    -With great power comes great magic usage: Von's magic is not meant to attack directly with the magnetic force itself but rather to use metal as a medium with which to attack. To charge an attack like this it takes a bonus 5% magic energy
    -The Crash: For 1 post after this spell ends Von's spells do 50% less damage then normal and his magnetic field is reduced to half power.
    -I'm no expert but....: Von is not an expert on hand to hand combat, this is more of a desperation move for him and to a veteran's watchful eye he has plenty of flaws in his stance and attack that can be exploited.
    -Cooldown: 4 posts


    Name: Scarp Metal Funeral: Coffin
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive, Magnetic, Metal
    Description: Von gathers all of his available metal and launches it at his opponent, from there it will being to orbit the target for a few seconds before it would all collapse in on the target at a painful velocity. Von will then mold the metal together into a cocoon around the target immobilizing them.
    Strengths:
    -What's that on your everywhere? It was pain!: A painful attack from all directions, you are going to have to get creative to get out of this.
    -Can't dodge this(easily): As long as you are in Von's magnetic field this attack will follow you, only by destroying all the metal before the attack lands can a mage avoid injury by this. It could be avoided if a mage is standing close enough to the edge of the magnetic field to jump out before the spell is finished.
    -Immobilization Factor: The spell encases the target in metal preventing them from moving. B-Ranks and above will likely be able to just pull themselves right out with ease, and C-Ranks with a slight bit more effort.
    Weaknesses:
    -Metal is metal: While the attack and magnetism behind the attack are magical and powerful the metal he uses is just stuff he has on hand and can be broken easily compared to magic metal even after the target has been encased a good bit of magic could allow them to break out.
    -Bad Economics: Von is limited to the metal nearby, to cast this spell he has to sufficient metal on hand.
    -Dig you fools!: The attack can be evaded by diving into the ground, however flying will not be as successful as the attack also comes from above.
    -Cooldown/Duration: 8 post cooldown/immobilization lasts until the metal is broken

This claim is a 'no limits' fallacy and though magnetic force itself is an absolute piece of nature that cannot be removed from the world, the effect it has on the world can be overpowered by a sufficiently large force and furthermore, Von's 'command' of it can in no way be considered powerful enough to not avoid such overpowering. Actually, there are ways to disrupt magnetism beyond a magnet power: heat, along with all its related buddies, for example is the one that comes first to mind, electricity is also another way to induce a disruptive magnetic effect. All in all, we can allow that magnetic fields are a fundamental force that in turn means an incredible potential of versatility, but in no way can their effect be absolute.
    Add another strength about your effectiveness against metal types, because let's face it, metal users are going to struggling against you.

I would like to have it that your basic magnetic field cannot lift strong and above magical weapons and armor because of their inherent magical power that prevents them from being so easily manipulated.

First of all, remove the part about people, this is because I do not want you to have an unavoidable hold on your opponents, both NPCs and other players. Both Scrap Metal Spear and EMforce first 'shreds the metal'. And then, when you replace that metal with 'people', it gives you an unfair damage advantage(not to mention an absolutely brutal paper-shredder) and also a lot of work needed to try to accommodate how people are going to go into your constructs. Next, we are gonna need to know how long this effect lasts for each use.
    -Be the magnet: Consuming 5% of his magic power for each post that it is active Von can make himself magnetic and use it in a variety of ways.     Remember the thing about your basic field not being able to manipulate strong and above magic armor and weapons? Here, I'll allow you to manipulate strong level equipment, so long as it is magnetic.
    Weaknesses:

Uh no, there is a way to stay in the field, at the edge, where the metal will be unable to orbit your opponent fully. That leaves a pretty big gap behind them that just one step-back will allow them to escape.

    -Fundamental Force of Reality:  Von commands magnetism one of the fundamental forces of reality, it's absolute, you can't disable it or impede it without magnet magic of your own, it just is and won't stop.  With some exceptions (see weaknesses).
    -Metal mages beware: It should go without saying Von has more then a slight edge on metal mages. Von is capable of stopping same rank or below metal projectiles as long as they are within his field, and manipulate other metal spells of the same rank or below.
    Weaknesses:
    -My own little world: Von's abilities only work within 20 meters of himself in any direction, a micrometer farther away and he is powerless.
    -Weight Limit: Von maxes out at 200 kilograms of metal at any given moment, he cannot hold any more then that.
    -It doesn't do wood: While normally with the cost of a bit of magic power Von can make anything magnetic regardless of the substance, for some reason it doesn't do wood. It just doesn't work, no matter how hard he tries it doesn't do wood.
    -Concentrate you fool!: Distractions can make Von drop everything, like legit drop everything. But it takes no simple distraction to break his concentration, only the most crazy of shit.
    -There are exceptions: While magnetism is a powerful and usually absolute force it does have it's banes. Heat and radiation can disrupt spells of the same rank or lower, and large entities of either force can disrupt Von's field around them.

    Abilities/Powers:
    -Electromagnetic Field: There is a 20 meter in radius sphere around Von, any metal within it is his to command and bludgeon people with as he will. However this is passive level magic, any D-Rank or stronger magic will over power it or C-Rank or greater passive magic. The magic within strong and higher level weapons and armor protect them from Von's magnetic power.
    -All the magnets!: Consuming 10% of his magic power Von causes everything within 5 meters of him to become magnetic so he can manipulate them as if they were metal, this includes the ground, and any objects. The effect wears off after three posts.
    -Be the magnet: Consuming 5% of his magic power for each post that it is active Von can make himself magnetic and use it in a variety of ways. While under this effect Von can manipulate his magnetic field to allow him to fly, he can use it to enhanced his physical abilities allowing him to run at speeds up to 20 miles per hour and wield strength equal to his physical strength and his magnetic power stacked on top of each other.

    Name: Enhanced Magnetism
    Rank: D
    Type: Magnetic, Offensive
    Description: Von closes his eyes and holds his arms out to either side clenching them into fists, then releases a yellow pulse of light that spreads out through the area effected by his magnetic field and then dissipates. What this does is increase the power of Von's field, when passive attacks with it does 'logic' damage the same way weapons or melee do; however under the effect of this spell such attacks do D-Rank damage and Von's upper limit for weight capacity increase by 30 kilograms. Another benefit is that strong weapons that were previously immune to Von's abilities are now subject to his power and under the effect of "All the magnets!" and this spell Von can also control living things, however only those within 5 meters of him, he cannot use them as scrap metal material for spells and he can only use half as much force against them as he could other objects.  
    Strengths:
    -Extra Power Never Hurt: Von's base powers are amplified by a great deal, not only boosting his passive attacks but bumping his other attacks to 150% of their base power.
    -Don't get too close: While this is in effect if you have any metal on you Von will be sending you for a ride.
    -Limit Break!: This spell effectively allows Von to easily surpass his upper limits for a short time, which may not only take his opponents by surprise but can allow for extra power when it is needed most.
    Weaknesses:
    -Not the best time to blink: Closing his eyes is an important part of casting this spell as it is pivotal to increasing his focus, so it leaves him vulnerable to attack for a short time.
    -Concentrate: If Von takes damage while this spell is in effect it is cancelled.
    -The Crash: For 1 post after this spell ends Von's spells do 50% less damage then normal and his magnetic field is reduced to half power.
    -Cooldown/Duration: 4 posts/3 posts You have yet to reduce the duration to 2 posts.

    Name: Scrap Metal Spear

    Description: Von gathers metal, shreds it and then forms it into a conical spear with nothing more then a thought.  He then points a finger at his target and uses his magnet powers to launch the spear at the target. The spear travels at roughly 50 miles per hour and spins at speeds around 70 miles per hour.

    This picture is a bit inaccurate as the spear is made of scrap metal not blood, but it's the right shape and size.
    Strengths:
    -Simplicity is power: Hard to go wrong with a fast flying spinning spear thing.
    -Now you've dodged it once, now you dodged it twice, now you realize it's no use: After launching the spear  as long as it remains within his magnetic field Von can steer the spear as much as he wants with his telekinetic control of magnetism. Dodging and evasion won't get you far against this projectile.
    -Range: While normally Von cannot manipulate metal beyond his field he ran launch this spear as far as 5 meters beyond his field although he will loose his ability to steer it once it leaves that range.
    Weaknesses:
    -Metal is metal: While the attack and magnetism behind the attack are magical and powerful the metal he uses is just stuff he has on hand and can be broken easily compared to magic metal.
    -Bad Economics: Von is limited to the metal nearby, to cast this spell he has to sufficient metal on hand.
    -One Directional: While Von can steer the spear at will, it's only got one point and an indirect hit won't hurt very much.
    -Cooldown/Duration: 4 post cooldown/Von can steer the spear for as long as 3 posts

    Type: Magnetic, Offense
    Description: Von shreds some of his metal and molds it around his hand, he then clenches it into a fist super charging it with electromagnetic energy. Once charged he uncurls his fist and launches an open palmed strike with the hand coated in metal, now there are few things that go into this attack that make it a hell of an attack. First Von's control of magnetism lets him increase the power of his strike by overlapping his magnetic force on top of his physical strength and second the super charging of electromagnetic energy delivers a painful zap that can stun and disorientate his opponent for a few seconds. How long does the effect last in terms of posts?
    Strengths:
    -Super mega electro-punch: Electric mega metal palm strike, this stings like a bitch for 1.5xD-Rank damage
    -Tazer hand powers go!: Getting hit by this attack sends a real shock to the nervous system that can disorient, stun and potentially knock out a person. D-Rank mages are going to have a bad time with this, those that are particularly weak of body are likely to find themselves seeing stars. C-Rank mages aren't going to be effected too terribly by this and B-Rank and higher mages will be able to shake this effect off without a second thought.
    -Fail Safe: If something happens to make Von want to abort his strike or just get the heck out of dodge he can use his command of magnetism to throw his metal coated fist (And by consequence himself) the heck out of there.
    Weaknesses:
    -With great power comes great magic usage: Von's magic is not meant to attack directly with the magnetic force itself but rather to use metal as a medium with which to attack. To charge an attack like this it takes a bonus 5% magic energy
    -The Crash: For 1 post after this spell ends Von's spells do 50% less damage then normal and his magnetic field is reduced to half power.
    -I'm no expert but....: Von is not an expert on hand to hand combat, this is more of a desperation move for him and to a veteran's watchful eye he has plenty of flaws in his stance and attack that can be exploited.
    -Cooldown: 4 posts


    Name: Scarp Metal Funeral: Coffin
    Rank: D
    Type: Offensive, Magnetic, Metal
    Description: Von gathers all of his available metal and launches it at his opponent, from there it will being to orbit the target for a few seconds before it would all collapse in on the target at a painful velocity. Von will then mold the metal together into a cocoon around the target immobilizing them.
    Strengths:
    -What's that on your everywhere? It was pain!: A painful attack from all directions, you are going to have to get creative to get out of this.
    -Can't dodge this(easily): As long as you are in Von's magnetic field this attack will follow you, only by destroying all the metal before the attack lands can a mage avoid injury by this. It could be avoided if a mage is standing close enough to the edge of the magnetic field to jump out before the spell is finished.
    -Immobilization Factor: The spell encases the target in metal preventing them from moving. B-Ranks and above will likely be able to just pull themselves right out with ease, and C-Ranks with a slight bit more effort.
    Weaknesses:
    -Metal is metal: While the attack and magnetism behind the attack are magical and powerful the metal he uses is just stuff he has on hand and can be broken easily compared to magic metal even after the target has been encased a good bit of magic could allow them to break out.
    -Bad Economics: Von is limited to the metal nearby, to cast this spell he has to sufficient metal on hand.
    -Dig you fools!: The attack can be evaded by diving into the ground, however flying will not be as successful as the attack also comes from above.
    -Cooldown/Duration: 8 post cooldown/immobilization lasts until the metal is broken
