Lex sat alone at a corner table at an Italian style restaurant in the thick of Motor City. A glass of red wine sat before him, halfway drank already. He was watching the sun set on the large city, who knew what would come out from hiding once the darkness enveloped the land. He lifted the glass to his lips to take another small sip, the wine was rather tasty, merlot at least five years old, nothing too expensive but it was not the cheapest on the menu. Lex was always horrible about saving money, whenever he got some in his pocket he ended up blowing it on food, booze, or boys, his three vices in life. Today though he was not worried about his lack of money, he was supposed to be meeting up with one of his fellow guildmates at some point and do a mission today. He was not aware of what the mission was but just knew that the two of them were supposed to meet at this restaurant at sundown, in Motor City.
Lex had gotten here a bit earlier than the woman due to the fact that he fancied a glass of red wine alone with his thoughts first. He had not been a member of Golden Phoenix for very long, he was still trying to get the lay of the land so to speak. He had met this girl, Summer, before but only briefly. From what he knew of her though this would be an interesting mission, she was after all rather hyper active and had some unique ability to force ghost into this world. In fact the first time he saw her she was doing cartwheels through a busy street on Phoenix Island.
As the suns last rays started to dip below grey skyline of buildings, Lex tossed back the last sip of his glass of merlot. Where he was in the restaurant was not directly in view of the door so he would have to wait for the waitress or host to show Summer to the table. He picked up the wine list once more and flipped through it, he was debating to order a second glass or not. If he did though he would surely need to get a hearty meal, some lasagna or pasta, to soak up the wine so he could preform on the job without any issue.
