Charlotte simply stood right in front of the building in disbelief for few more moments before her confidence wavered a bit as well. It looked like an inn alright, and the sign read "Silver Moon Inn" too. So she probably was in the right place, even if it did not look like a proper guild hall. Well, of course she was! She got all the directions from Seth, so there was no way she would be somewhere where she was not supposed to be. But now that she actually had to do this, nervousness quickly showed itself. It would be for the very first time in ages where Charlotte would interact with other intelligent lifeforms. All she had as company so far were magcats and those rather rude Omnicubes that were not helping anything. They even refused to warp the girl here so she had to walk! Thankfully she wasn't too far from this place, in fact, she was in the very same city. Perhaps that was the reason Seth even picked up this specific guild for her, so that she would not have to walk too far and get hurt in the process. Really, the puppeteer was such a worry rat! He even suggested that the girl should take a pepper spray for the journey across the city and got mad after she replied that flamethrower would be way more useful.

"Seth, are you sure I have to do this? I was perfectly fine living by myself up until now, why the sudden change?"

The girl would ask, the question seemingly directed at no one from the perspective of others. Only she could feel a strange sensation all around in the air afterwards, her puppeteer's response. Gulping, she moved her hand forward, placing it on the handle of the doors, gently pushing them open. Inside, it really did not seem like anything special. A regular inn with booths and tables, place where people would spend their lunch and dinner time. Now to just look for someone that would be member of Black Rose and could give poor little Charlotte some directions! Seth already began scanning the area as well, in case there were any dangerous objects nearby that the girl would have to avoid in order to not hurt herself or anyone in the room.

The fact their residence did not look like some massive proper guild in the middle of the bustling Rose Garden, well it was one of Jiyu's favorite thing's about the guild. Most of the time she acted as a true and proper powerful mage, went on an insane number of jobs and defeated foe after foe. However when it was time to go back home? She wanted it to look and feel like home, not like some Guild plastered into the town she lived in, and that was what Black Rose felt like for her, home, something she had been missing since her mother died when she was seven and her life fell apart. Now? She had her life together, and was even getting her power's under control to some extent, even if she still had very little control over the parts of her magic that the darkness within her had laid claim to recently. However it was reasonable as she was learning to live as a new existence still.

"Huh?" she was returning from the guild from a job today, anxious to see the faces of everyone and maybe pull a few shifts at the cafe. On her way to do those things? She heard Charlotte talking to herself near the entrance. Honestly it was reminiscent of a conversation she had heard people have several times before, one she mentally had the night she joined. Jiyu had done fine on ships, on her own and yet she had given in the allure of this place, let them coddle her until she grew strong as she was now. "Because being in a Guild can be the most rewarding thing in life. Here to join kid?" the inugami chimed as she let her quiver fall to the bend of her elbow and took her arrow in hand, she wanted to put them down as soon as she got in. Even if she did carry them on every job? They got heavy after a bit.

Poor little Charlotte's soul nearly jumped out of her body when she suddenly heard the feminine voice that ringed from behind her. That was, if she actually had one inside of her in the first place. In first few seconds, she dared not to even turn around, as she felt almost as if she was trespassing somewhere, stepping on a ground that was not meant for her. But there was another quick wave of magical energy that only the girl could feel, and it was a comforting one. The words that echoed through her head, a message that said she had no reason to be afraid of this being that also entered the peculiar inn. And so, she turned to face the woman that uttered those words. Or at least Charlotte hoped it would be a woman, as she could simply not imagine a man with a voice like that, not even with her wild imagination. And it truly was, a moment of relief. A girl that was somehow quite a bit smaller than Charlotte herself, yet looked much older somehow. Exactly how something like that was possible, she dared not ask and frankly, it seemed a little bit weird to her right now. Perhaps because of her plentiful bosom that wanted to find it's way out of that provocative outfit. And that magical power! Just from that one glance and feeling, even this little hatchling could easily tell that the woman in front of her was most definitely a powerful witch. And now that she got a whiff of that magical nature, another wave energy forced the girl's body to move backwards, almost in defensive manner. The girl herself did not know why, but Seth did. And he certainly did not desire for the dark side of Charlotte's lineage to resonate with whatever magic this one freshly arrived woman was using.

"Ah, pardon me, I did not want to be in the way by standing in the doorway! Um... Seth wants me to join because it would make family present in my life. Though I think I have enough friends for that to not be the case!"

As she said those words, she placed her hands, clenched into fists, onto her hips in a firm stand as if that would help to convey her point. It probably did not. And of course, Seth scolded the girl the very next moment, enforcing his reasoning for her to be here in the first place. She needed people in her life, the sooner the better. So perhaps this would be start of something wonderful indeed for the young girl.

    You can breathe

    In clear blue water

Aerwyna was at the inn today of the guild as always. She felt very privileged by the fact that she doesn’t live in the inn anymore, but with Gala being okay with it, she didn’t mind. She got her own guest room and the lot, the most she mainly had to do was to basically make contributions to the place and she was then going to be all fine and dandy. As usual, she brought Kinopio with her who seemed to be helping her with tidbits of reading and some of the human language, which she didn’t really mind at all.

“Aerwynnaaa!! You’re teasing me now!” Croaked out a voice as he flailed his arms out in a panic. “You should know that we tell each other everything!”

Ah, about Gala again. What could she say about the fine male?? Other than the fact that he was everything that her potential suitors were not back at the mermaid kingdom. That, and he was actually teaching her to cook as well. It’s always a treat to cook because you never really cook in the sea! It would be weird if you were able to anyway, she guessed.

Looking to the side before she answered anything however, the female spotted a poor little girl who seemed to be lost… Aerwyna was still unfamiliar with some of the places around here, but she was sure she could help give the young girl some directions. Walking over to the wee bairn, she kneeled down and waved. She was sure that the smell of fish would either disgust her or entice her, but she cannot help it. Someone managed to get to her first, but Aerwyna walked over anyway and allowed them to speak to each other.

The inn was filled with a large variety of noises and movements. Among them was one of chips hitting the table, cards flipping and disapproving grunts following soon after. Sitting at the table from which the disgruntled noises could be heard from was a peculiar man donning a snow white suit kept clean to the T, and a white top hat. The man in question might have seemed like the only one having fun for he chuckled at every annoyed or angry look that was thrown to him, by both the players and the people who began to become disturbed by the increasing in volume card game they were playing. Until finally, the meltdown was hit when one of the players stood up in a vicious rage, grabbed the man by the collar, and threw him right out the window.

''You FRAUD!There is no chance in HELL you could get THAT lucky. I'll have your bloody head on a spike for this!''

The man in question was large, bulky, and seemed quite out of town. The kind of guy that you would either have to be incredibly strong or incredibly brave to face, let alone swindle. Oddly enough, the man who had reached the streets by means of broken glass and an unsatisfying thud possessed neither of those. As the large man was still panting at his sudden burst of strength usage the odd man stood up, dusted off his clothing, and flicked away some blood that was dripping off his index finger. Apparently the glass wasn't all that weirdo friendly.

''It's not CHEATING, it's MAGIC you bulky country hick! You sure have SOME nerve messing with the one, the ONLY strongest mage to have ever sat down onto your damned poker table; The illustrious yet not cheating mage of beyond the shroud! HORATIO!''

The exclamation came not only with an excessive amount of bravado and theatrics, using a lot of unnecessary gestures and movements, but it was also said with what appeared to be a confidence in the truth of his words. He might not look the part, but at least he sounded like he meant what he said.

Jiyu did have a feminine voice indeed, sort of like bell chimes or something akin to them, but the strange thing about her voice was how it also sounded wild due to the few similarities her vocal cords had to that of wild dogs, in order for her to be able to make canine vocalizations alongside her humanoid ability to speak human tongues. The wind mage was just kind of standing there, staring at the white back of this girl, kind of confused as to why she had suddenly turned into a stone statue sort of person. Was she intimidating, were some of her takeover's active against her knowledge? Jiyu's hand rose slightly to touch the black line beneath the black marking cutting across her eye. Perhaps her new markings were frightening? However she did not know how she could be the problem when this chick did not even turn around to look at he, rude much, maybe she should do something about this girls lack of manner's!

Jiyu was quiet weird when one considered the power she held, it was force that normally required a much larger body to hold within. Sometimes? It was a blessing her own magical power did not backfire on her and cause some sort of physical harm, but let's not jinx the little mage. Anyway's, she was just an odd sight with her partly colored hair, dog tail, elfin ears, mismatched eyes, refusal to wear proper clothing and everything of the such, Jiyu was an odd sight no matter where she was and the wind mage really did not frankly give a damn.

"Than let's find someone who can accept you formally and give you the mark, alright?" Jiyu used to do that sort of thing on her own, but the wind user did not have anything of a right at the moment, in her own opinion. Thus she wanted to wait for someone else to be able to accept the kid. Suddenly the wind user's ear's twitched as a glass shattered a little bit down from them and she moved forward to push the little girl towards Aerwyna so that her Guild Mate could help protect the new comer, Jiyu instantly drew one of her arrow's, pointing it towards the commotion. Since she was a powerful mage? She kind of went into full combat mode when something bad happened, but it took only seconds for her to realize it was not that serious. "Oh great. Mind getting our new member a seat in the cafe while I do something about this scene Wyna?" they could not let one of their member's get into a full fledged street fight with someone, there was also the horrible idea of whatever had been done to start the brawl.

"Oh my, Horatio, please just go back to the cafe part of Silver Moon and help greet our newest member instead of getting into trouble." the wind mage had her hands on her hip's and a jaded expression on her black marked face. This guy? Was grandstanding and likely making things worse, Jiyu could not believe it, and she wished that she could just kick his ass in the middle of the street right now. "And also? If you lot think of following and causing more trouble? Hunter's shot." as she spoke Jiyu tapped her finger's against the air generating a few air bullets and firing them at the growing crowd that wanted to punch her guild mate. Each shot? Missed but it took a slice of hair, a piece of clothing near something important or such. "Just remember I missed on purpose because that's and A-ranked spell. I just got back from several missions and I am in no mood to deal with this shit, so everyone take your seat! Horatio, come on time to greet the newbie" Also one of her air bullets might have almost hit her guild mate too, but hey the whole guild knew Jiyu's magic was reckless and destructive and not suited for town use, so she couldn't be blamed! Even though she had damn well done it on purpose to startle him slightly for causing this trouble in the first place.

Puppet's new home [Intro] Empty Re: Puppet's new home [Intro]

Post by Charlotte 9th January 2017, 2:35 pm

The place got very lively very quickly. So this was a guild... collection of wizards and witched from all corners of the world that possessed all kinds of different magical talents that would aid them in completely in jobs that would fund their homes and other possible adventures. A collection of people that could call themselves a family. It would be quite a while before Charlotte would truly be part of a place like this, but perhaps one day... though she still had the thought of Seth being enough for her running wildly through her head. In any case, she waved at the lady that appeared nearby, ignoring the smell of fish that somehow appeared alongside her and then turned back at the black haired dog lady, as the girl now noticed, who seemed rather angry. And of course, there was a reason for it in the form of a loud noise that could probably be associated with breaking a window. Whatever was going on, it was probably pretty bad.

And as the wind witch started doing her magic, Charlotte spotted something that took the entirety of her attention. Good thing too, as she would probably not appreciate seeing wind bullets being shot at people very much. But what was that she was now looking at so intensely? Well... there was a person standing in the darkest corner of the inn. And no one other than Charlotte could see or sense him. A tall, black haired gentleman with a suit, wearing a mask made out of deer's skull, antlers still part of it. And in his hand, a fancy umbrella used as a cane. For a moment, the girl opened her mouth as if she wanted to say hello to the man who was watching her ever so eerily, but she quickly shut it as the man's gloved hand moved to his head, his long and slender index finger extending in front of the skull's lover part where his mouth probably was underneath. So instead, the girl offered a smile to the man, mimicking his gesture which probably looked a bit odd to anyone who would have noticed. After all, one does not shush the air, right?

All that was interrupted once again soon enough, this time by somewhat deep meowing sound. Something that Charlotte quickly recognized and turned towards. It was coming from outside the building and in that very moment, the girl ran between the black haired wind witch and the fish smelling lady, jumping out the door only to see a magcat walking outside. Yet another surprise that she did not expect. There was a pet magcat she had at home and few strays around her house, but she had never seen one this far away. Whatever it was doing here, the girl did not really care. She merely kneeled down to pet the lovely creature before taking it into her embrace. While she was outside, she also noticed the man in white clothes that was presumably thrown through the window earlier. Not paying him much mind, she walked back into the guild hall and looked at the two girls that were hopefully still nearby.

"I had no idea that there were magcats in this area! Um... could I bring it inside like this? Someone could try to hurt them outside and they're too cute to be left alone, please?"

She begged as the maggot cat made another deep meow sound. The situation truly was becoming more and more curious to Seth and perhaps some others as well.
