Ignition [Job | Magna]

As Magna quickly jumped into action, she was barely saved by a mere milisecond! The insanely powerful blast that came from the Tesseract was dodged by mere inches! Thanks to Magna that was, the bot's giant arm was thrown off course at the last possible moment, the powerful beam rushing past Kiru and exploding the canyon wall behind her! As the green beam shot past, her hair would be blown backwards, small scarred burns on her face began to appear from the intense heat, but Kiru could resist it for as long as the shot lasted. Luckily, her efforts weren't wasted! Magna leaped into action with zeal, and completely destroyed part of the machine's armor! Just how powerful was this wizard? She couldn't predict he was that strong. That or the machine was just weaker than they thought. While that would be nice, she wasn't willing to bet her money on the ladder seeing how much damage the robot could've done to Kiru, had she been hit.

However, Kiru wasn't given much time to think about it as she saw two drones burst from the Tesseract backside and began their assault on Magna! He seemed to effortlessly avoid them however, as well as do some decent damage. Taking this opportunity, Kiru would regain her strength and leap back into the fight! Her arms would be covered in rushing currents of holy water As she began sprinting towards the robot's feet as it focused on Magna. However, the two drones that he had knocked down began to resurface and target the incoming wizard. Clenching her fists, two long whips would reappear around her arms once again! The first one rushed towards her, and Kiru quickly slashed it with a powerful strike, spinning around and hitting the other drone with her right arm as it rolled towards her! Judging by the loud beeping noises she heard coming from them, she could tell they were explosive. Suicide drones it seemed. Kiru would smirk silently, sensing she could use this to her advantage.

As the two drones were preparing to get back up, she could hear the massive machine above knock Magna right out of the air after the damage to its arm had been done! She watched him sail through the air and collide directly with the canyon wall! Now the massive robot was preparing to finish him off with a spiked hand, but not if Kiru could help it! Just as the two drones rushed her again, the demon slayer would summon two long tendrils out of the ground to quickly grab them! Using as much mental strength as she could, the demon slayer swung the two drones up into the air straight towards the incoming arm! Just as it was within 10 feet from Magna, the suicide drones collided the robot's arm and erupted into a plume of flames! The explosion caused the mech's arm to fly off course and miss Magna, smashing into the wall beside him.

Wasting no time, Kiru would summon another two tendrils to latch onto the Tesseract's joints and lift her up! She quickly scaled the mech's body, before leaping into the air above its head and summoning a remaining four water tendrils that spouted off her back. The four conjured a giant ball of water in which Kiru would spin in the air while falling, throwing the massive object directly on top of its head!

The mech would stagger from this move, the white explosion of water being powerful enough to move almost any force! As it did, Kiru would quickly land on top of it chest piece, directly on the space between its chest and head. And with one powerful kick, Kiru would yell. "OCEAN DEMON PULSE!" A powerful force of water would erupt from her foot as she kicked off of the robot. The power was just enough to knock the already staggering robot off balance! The entire machine falling backwards onto its back! The stone heaved and cracked as it did, as plumes of dust would envelope the canyon! She doubt that move was strong enough to finish the job, but she hoped with the opening she had created, Magna could once again unleash another fury of attacks upon it.

As Kiru landed from her backflip, she skidded several feet, calming to a halt finally and catching her breath as all she could see was the massive wall of canyon dust caused by the machine's fall.

'Monster Dice' :

The arm that had been coming towards him and which likely would of caused him heavily damaged was knocked off course by a huge explosion caused by the suicide drones. It seemed despite the fact they'd only really worked together once before and weren't 100% aware of eachother's skills they had eachother's backs enough to keep eachother alive. It showed a unity that only bonds formed from a guild could bring. As the machine went crashing down Magna decided it was time to bury this thing. If they could smash it down enough then it would have a lot of difficulty getting up. He grinned as he blasted himself up into the air using his gauntlets and wondered if it was time to trigger his true strength. No, the time had come to unleash the power of the cerberus. The time however had come to unleash the true power of Black Velvet.

He blasted himself high up into the sky till he was just a pinprick barely able to be seen and then blasted himself downwards beginning to spin rapidly. There were two ways this could go. He could use a cerberus technique and drill through this thing or he could smash it down. Smashing it down seemed best as the drilling could cause an explosion if he hit the wrong area. Even if he did with the smashing down he'd hopefully bury it enough for it to be drilled down.

As he descended at high speeds his fists began to grow in size. First to double, then to quadruple, then to sextuple. This was the technique knock as rolling pin and he hadn't truly unlocked its potential yet, but with the force of gravity combined with the size of the impact and the weight he hit like a missile slamming the already knocked down creature further into the ground. So great was his impact that he left a massive dent in it, but the true intent of the move had been to force it downwards and have the mud bury it. Before the mud had a chance to pour in he blasted himself backwards further hitting the machine.

He smiled at the mud and a fireball came to his hand. "Medium Flame Fork." he stated and hurled down the ball. As it flew it changed and became the shape of a fork that when it hit exploded outwards and due to the intense heat immediately baked it into terracotta. He intended to trap the thing in the superheated mud. Even if it broke out of said mud the superheated body of the machine would be its downfall. Magna was ready for that. A single powerful ice spell and he would bring this thing down.

Then again for an opponent as powerful as this he wondered if he had seen everything it was capable of. Those weapons were one thing and the drones were another, but nothing so far made this seem overly powerful. Yes, if some of those attacks hit it could of ended their lives, but so far it hadn't put up a huge fight. Perhaps it was only really designed to destroy large targets, such as cities, rather than individual mages.

He paused as he floated there atop the kinetic blasts firing from his gauntlets, the sound echoing through the canyon as he waited to see what happened. This machine supposedly had a pilot who must be quite skilled to control such a machine. Could the mud have been enough to take out the pilot? So even if the machine fell could the mud have drowned him? He hated taking human lives, but if it was a choice between that and letting this machine roam free then it was a sin he would gladly burden. The problem was they'd have to somehow take the machine apart afterwards to make sure it didn't come back.

He focused trying to get a scent for the soul of the pilot. Unfortunately, so much dust and mud and other debris was disturbing the air and making it hard to do so. Even his slayer senses weren't enough in this case.

Magic:

Dust and dirt were all that filled Kiru’s senses after she witnessed Magna effortlessly deal a significant amount of damage to the felled robot. As expected, at least now it was. Magna had demonstrated his strength countless times before, so Kiru could predict the outcome of his attack. After the giant robot sunk into the heated mud, It appeared Magna attempted to encase the mech inside the wall of rock and water they had created earlier. A smart plan, Kiru had been glad he was thinking that way after her power was drained from her initial assault, causing the Tesseract to fall on the ground. With this outcome, it presented the pair with many possibilities as to how they could proceed to disable the mech, and it limited the pilot extensively as well. For now however, Kiru needed to get to higher ground so she could easily assess the situation. She figured if the mech wasn’t stuck in the mud, it would’ve struck back by now, so she could ease her muscles a little as she tried to traverse the dust filled canyon till she found a pile of boulders.

Climbing on top of them, she’d look out above the brown fog to see nothing but a massive hardened shell made completely of rock, its outline resembling that of a robotic figure. Her hands would glow with magical energy as she leaped upwards and rolled on top of the shell, slowly walking across it. Even if the mech seemed disabled, it was likely the pilot was still alive. Kiru wasn’t cruel enough to let him suffocate, but she still needed to be careful. There was no telling how powerful this thing was, and if Magna’s shell could hold it for long. So she needed to find the pilot quick before he had time to think of an escape plan. She’d walk across the shell, dragging along two long water tendrils across the stone, she was searching, sensing… Listening. Feeling the vibrations underneath… But suddenly something sparked her senses.

Kiru’s eyes widened suddenly, and soon the shell began to heave and crack. She’d turn to Magna and yell. “GET TO COVE-!” However, the demon slayer was cut off by a MASSIVE beam of plasma that shattered through the shield and shot into the sky above. The purple energy streaked through the air, causing a shockwave, Kiru flying backwards towards the wall of the canyon. Before she could get to her feet, the rest of the robot began to shift and heave in the stone, a massive arm ripping apart the rock as its knees lifted. The beam died down just as the head lifted itself again, and pulled out its arm. Ther air ripped apart with the loud sounds of cracking rock as the giant mech recovered. And then soon, a new voice appeared… One Kiru had not heard before, but knew exactly who it was…

“HAHA! YOU REALLY THINK TWO PITIFUL GUILD WIZARDS COULD POSSIBLY WITHSTAND THE POWER OF MY WAR MACHINE?! WATCH AND LEARN WHELPS, BECAUSE THIS WILL BE OVER QUICKLY!” A loud voice boomed from the direction of the Tesseract’s head, it sounded a mix of both machine and man as it was likely whoever was speaking was using hidden speakers to communicate with the outside. Kiru would slowly rise to her feet, just as the mech’s body began to shift and change slightly. The armored plating would slide backwards, revealing even MORE weaponry, such as missile launchers and plasma projectiles. Turning to Magna, she’d give him a concerned look just as the mech would point towards the sky. With a loud explosive sound, 6 rockets were launched from the mech’s backside. The missiles traced the sky with streams of smoke before turning back earthwards towards the two wizards. They then sped up, three heading for each of them. Kiru would glare and conjure up more water tendrils, getting ready to defend herself. As the first rocket came into range, she whipped a tendril sidewards to slap it out of the air. Colliding with the canyon wall it exploded into a plume of smoke just as Kiru barely dodged the second by sliding underneath it as the rocket flew mere inches from her body. This routine finishing with a roll and two more tendrils appearing to create a makeshift shield to block the final rocket. They absorbed most of th impact, but the initial shock was still enough to throw the demon slayer off her footing backwards. She’d roll and skid, facing the mech… Calculating… Thinking… It was time they came up with something. They wouldn’t last much longer in these conditions.

As the huge beam of plasma tore into the air Magna had little time to dodge or maneuver. He attempted to throw himself forwards, but wasn't quite in time and so the beam cut into his back scorching it heavily and tearing through most of his clothing. Before he had a chance to think or recover three large missiles were sent firing at him at high speeds. There was little chance to think or react to them either, but luckily his instincts kicked in. He quickly moved about through the air till he'd managed to seperate the missles and all three were hurtling towards him from different directions. He floated there on blasts of kinetic energy till the last moment and then dropped using the kinetic blasts to throw himself downwards. The three missiles collided with force generating a huge explosion that even with his distance scorched his body a bit and threw him down. Lucky he was able to slow himself from hitting the ground and he turned to face the mech rising out of the depths.

He had to go all out now. There was no choice. Even if it took both of them down with it they had to bring this thing down. It still had a lot of tricks up its sleeve and it seemed capable of far more transformations. This thing was more than capable of ending them if they didn't end things soon. He focused and his aura changed becoming more wild as four more arms grew on his body, a snake formed a second tail and his face split into three faces. This was his asura form. A powerful form able to be assumed by a cerberus slayer.

"Thunder Revolution." he stated forming a red powder on one hand and a green powder on another. The two hands slammed together fusing the powder into a single golden one which was quickly inhaled. Instantly his body increased in power. He was now faster and stronger. Yet he wasn't done there. It was time to enter a berserker mode. "Eau de King." he said forming a strange mist around him which once more was enhaled. This was a mixture of his healing spell and a spell that normally put people to sleep. In this situation what he'd done was essentially numb his entire body and heal it. His wounds wouldn't be completely healed, but he could now ignore the pain of them.

He charged forward at a much higher speed using the gauntlets to further enhance it and keep him off the ground. The mech driver laugher and began to fire off beams of energy, missles and bullets at Magna, but his speed was too great now. A few managed to hit him, but they were ignored. That was when he leaped into the air and a large energy blade formed on one of the gauntlets radiating cold. "Chill Soul Blade." he shouted as he sliced cleanly through the leg and out the other side. The leg itself was not actually cut, because Magna used the soul energy of the cerberus slayer to attack the 'soul' of the leg instead enfusing it with intense cold. The man laughed.

"FOOL. YOU THOUGHT YOUR PITIFUL ENERGY BLADE COULD BRING DOWN THE TESSERACT?" he said and Magna just smiled and hurled a large piece of debris at the leg. "HA AS IF ROCK COULD BRING ME DoWN!" But Magna just grinned as the boulder hit the leg and it buckled entirely causing the machine to begin to fall. "WHAT! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE. HOW?" the man yelled as his mech began to fall once more. Magna blasted himself out the way and said nothing.

What had happened was this. During the attacks that had been launched previously he'd superheated most of the mech. When hit with intense cold like he'd used it had severely weakened the structural integrity of the leg. If the mech had attempted to walk on it then it would of collapsed. However, the machine had seemed unlikely to move majorly whilst the two of them were buzzing about like flies trying to take down a rhino and so he'd helped it along with a large boulder. The boulder itself had been larger than Magna, but with his enhanced strength and the gloves of black velvet hurling such things was easy.

He thought he'd managed to take it down or at least stop it moving when suddenly its body began to shift again. It changed greatly from a large humanoid mech to one resembling a large scorpion. However, rather than just a sting on the table it had a powerful energy cannon as did each of its large pincers. There were large amounts of damage clearly visible, but the machine was far from defeated. Its body was still super heated, but he didn't have enough magic to be able to bring down something of that size. The man was laughing all the while as he began to fire off random energy blasts through the large plumes of dust and smoke. It seemed he couldn't aim for some reason. Perhaps he'd taken out the visual receptors or something. Still, that wasn't much comfort as any one of those beams could end it. An aimed blast could at least be predicted. They needed to take it down swiftly.

The two mages needed to combine their power somehow. He blasted his way over to Kiru and whispered something to her before blasting away back towards the mech. He hoped she'd understood what he said and could do something whilst he kept it distracted. What he'd said was this.

"Its body is still hot. If we can cool it all at once then hit it with something big we'll cripple it. Let's give it an ice bath." Essentially what he wanted her to do was generate a large amount of water in a focused spot so he could cool it down so that when it was dropped it would super chill the tesseract and then he could hit it with something big. Plus the water might get into some of the systems and caused them to malfunction. It was a useful tactic.

Kiru would rise to her feet steadily as she coughed from all the rubble. Luckily, in her time of recovery the Tesseract had shifted its focus to Magna, while he struggled to deal with his own incoming problems. She’d watch him dodge the missiles headed his way, and attempt to do more damage to the large robot. She’d sense it weakening, but not nearly enough for them to make a significant impact on it. They needed to end this quickly, but the mech seemed unstoppable. Even after Magna’s minor victory, the robot simply changed form into that of a gigantic scorpion! Steam jettisoned off its body as the plated metal shifted, and a dim green light shone from the canon on its stinger. THe pincers powerful enough to break stone.

That’s when Magna came back to her side, and suggested a plan. He wanted to superfreeze the entire mech for one finishing blow! Of course, she had thought of something similar, but had no idea if Magna was capable of freezing an amount of water needed to stop that thing, if he could even freeze it at all. Kiru on the other hand could almost easily summon enough water to do the job, but she had very little experience when it came to freezing it. On top of that, she didn’t exactly have enough time to ask Magna any of those questions, but luckily his attacks managed to buy the pair some much needed time for coordination. And she knew this would work. That thing was giving off too much heat. If they managed to freeze it, it would power down its most vital systems, for a time at least. Hopefully enough for them to deliver a crippling blow, causing it to shut down. That or the machine would explode. They couldn’t have that. It would be far too risky destroying the machine. Not with the reactor still functional. So Kiru had hoped this spell would be enough to shield the inner most functions of the Tesseract from major damage, but cripple the outside enough for it to power down.

Kiru would simply nod to Magna as he left her on the rock face overseeing the scorpion machine. She’d simply close her eyes and point her hands towards the ground. Breathing in slowly… The Tesseract took notice of her, and began to shift its new body around. Seeing her standing completely still with her eyes closed, she seemed completely unaware of the situation. Taking advantage of this, the machine would point it’s massive stinger cannon in her direction, and began charging… Kiru would feel the water hidden deep beneath the earth’s surface… And focus. She would feel it shift, and heave slowly with her powers… Edging its way through the earth towards the surface… The ground around the scorpion began to shift slightly, small cracks becoming visible in the surface, but too small and insignificant for the large robot to take any notice of. Instead it kept charging the massive canon, attempting to finish the girl off… Unaware of what she was doing, and where Magna was…

The cracks grew larger, and soon white water would begin to bubble to the surface. She’d clench her hands, feeling an enormous source of power, and then suddenly open her eyes! Lifting both hands immediately, the ground underneath the Tesseract heaved open! A Massive tidal wave of water flew through the rock upwards, clashing with the Tesseract and engulfing it with water! The initial shock caused the massive robot to lose its footing and shake, the cannon firing prematurely and missing Kiru by several feet! THe green blast collided with the canyon’s wall, and caused yet another rockslide in the already war torn canyon. Shifting her feet, Kiru was prepared for what Magna could do… Hoping he would soon...

The large amount of water was more than he had expected and he wondered briefly if he had the ability to chill so much water at once. He had a couple of cooling spells left. He blasted himself towards the large amount of water before it fell and began to spin rapidly till he was a drill with two energy blades radiating cold energy on each side. The cold rapidly flowed down the drill till it was all radiating cold and as he hit the the water the temperature of it began to plummet, but he wasn't done there. He blasted up above the water and hit it with a final ball of cold just to chill it that little bit more. Thus as the water hit the body it was ice cold. This when it touched the superheated body began to make it brittle and make it buckle under its own weight. Slowly the machine began to fall apart and what's more it began to spark and smoke as water seeped into the inner workings. Nothing so far had begun to explode, but it had began to short circuit. Hopefully, they would not have done too much. Either way, with the buckled body dropping into the mud once more the machine wasn't getting up again.

"NOOOO HOW COULD TWO SUCH INSECTS BRING TOWN THE MIGHT TESSERACT!" roared out the voice though it was garbled and crackling. Magna stared for a moment and then flew down to what he presumed was the cock pit and sliced it open revealing the pilot. He was directly harnessed into parts of the machine and it was sending electricity coursing through his body. Simply unplugging him would be dangerous for both Magna and the man in question. However, Magna didn't want to let this man die. He hated the death of potential customers and human life was sacred. He didn't kill anything unless he was forced to or it was for ingredients.

"Heh the goodie two shoes mage wants to save me. What a surprise. Too bad that won't happen." he said and then tapped the device that was over his chest. "If you remove the wires incorrectly this will explode and so will the tesseract's core. They're linked you see? And guess what...I'm not telling ya." The man laughed and couged up some blood onto Magna's already pretty grimy face. "Or ya could risk ya own life and that girly's too in order to save me. Your choice wizard."

Magna stared for a moment and then with a quick jab he stabbed the man in the chest straight through the device. Strangely, neither device nor man showed any physical damage, but instantly the machine stopped whirring and began to shut down and the man's eyes faded to white. He'd severed the soul of both man and machine.

He blasted up and over to Kiru. "Mission...accomplished." and then collapsed. He'd exhausted pretty much all of his magic power and used a lot of physical stamina.
