A Storm Is Coming [Savage Skull Intro]

Rain pounded the ground, and thunder roared like a majestic lion. Dark, clouded skies with glare of moonlight here and there. It was like any other gloomy thunderstorm, and this one being especially gloomy. No one would dare walk out into a storm this eerie, or harsh at least. Not anyone but one man. A man with short, black hair and hazel, cat-like eyes. He had pale skin, and a rather lean figure. Nothing unusual, but what would hover above the man would shock just any normal person.

A cloud of darkness that resembled a monster shielded him from the pouring rain, wailing. It wasn't the quietest beast, but it was a mere slave to it's master. And who was this master? A villainous criminal who ate the souls of others! No! A violent killer who fed off the blood and tears of their victims?! Nein! And perhaps an all time famous master mind who slayed their victims cruelly, stole many famous magical items, and is feared by all?! Not even close!

"It has been raining for-ev-er. I'm gonna catch a cold," Achim sneezed, "No, I take that back. I have one."

Achim Anicetus, one of the weakest wizards you can think of, waltzed into the grounds of Savage Skull. As silly as he may sound, the atmosphere that was set was nothing compared to the man who joked with himself. He wore a black long sleeved collared shirt, which was unbuttoned down just three buttons, long black pants and sandals. Around his neck? A necklace with a cross attached to it. And best of all, he wore a smirk that could kill. Maybe. He wasn't as attractive as he thought.

The beast, who was drenched, continued to wail and moan unintelligible things as Achim walked on, dry as sand. He stood in front of the eerie building that was the Savage Skull Building. - The young man came here for two things; family and something to tackle his interest. "Oh, what a thrill! Isn't it? It is! Haha!" He continued to joke with himself before walking up the steps, and slamming his fist on the door, knocking. "Hellooooooo?" His smile faded into a toothy grin, he was excited to see who would open the door.

The eeriness of the storm and the atmospheric building was all that greeted him. Otherwise? Silence. Achim would not be surprised if he mistook the location, after all, a lot of residences in these areas tended to be abandoned and he had a poor sense of navigation.

Nothing but silence and a hard, cold door was there when he knocked, and his smile faded into an enigmatic expression and sighed, rubbing the back of his neck in a bit of disappointment. "No one here, huh? Swear I got it right this time," he looked over to his shadow-companion, the beast shaking it's head to pity him, "Oh well, there's a thousand other places like this one, we'll just have to find them is all." The messy haired man stuffed his hands into his pockets with a grumpy expression, walking down the steps before a large, powerful presence erupted into his.

Achim instantly peered back as a feminine voice broke the silence, nearly slipping off of the step from the shock. - Achim stumbled and wobbled but eventually regained balance, completely turning around to face the apparent woman, but was surprised to find how she greeted him. "Oh! Well, hello there!" A toothy grin appeared on his face, as he was pleased to find that there was at least one person present at his destination. With one finger up, he nodded, "My name's Achim Anicetus, and I am looking for a guild called Sav- ...?!" He was cut off when the woman cupped her hand around his cheeks, turning his face side to side, investigating him. Achim simply began to fall silent from the shock of this woman. It was like some horror game, when a mysterious character appears at an alleged abandoned home, suspicious... or maybe the suspicious character was Achim, after all, it was a random young man walking over to a building with a shadow hovering over his body, that made much more sense.

A quick slice of the skin ran across his cheek, as the irony liquid that is blood ran down said cheek when she flicked it. Achim smudged the rest of it off with the tip of his thumb, smiling, "Oh miss, I am flattered that I taste so delightful, but alas, I am not to eat!" He snickered, especially at her second comment. But, she then regressed back to the initial question, making him tilt his head and stroke his chin in question. "Ahem, like I was saying, the name's Achim, and I am looking for a guild of the name Savage Skull. I seek them out in request to join their ranks, hehe."

The woman was certainly weird. She twisted her fingers in a peculiar motion, as a bundle of roots crawled up from the ground, they took the form of a chair, and the woman would take a seat as they talked. It was always a good thing to do when you were talking to someone, you know. Taking a seat, greeting them. But not when it was pouring rain and their version of greeting them was a cut on the cheek and licking their blood! It was weird, but at the thought, Achim began to pity himself and rubbed the cut on his cheek. "Oh, well excuse me, lady! I do hope you decide to spare me, I may be tasty, but not a treat to eat! Heh." He snickered before bowing to her playfully, though he wasn't too sure if she was of a rank that was worth bowing to. It was questionable, to say the least But she did have a voice much like someone who had power. Oh well, not healthy to think too much.

Achim sighed and rubbed the back of his neck with a toothy grin, "A pleasure to meet you, miss Thorn, truly! What a lovely thing it is to meet a former power of the Savage Skull guild, it is quite inspiring, I must say! I am but no more than a young man seeking asylum at Savage Skull, thirsty to power of all powers, hehe! That, and family. I think I know someone here, but their names will remain anonymous." Despite him being so giggly about it, what he said was true.
