Job Title: Contracted Out for Assassination
Rank: S
Player Requirements: A-rank minimum to partake. Requires 1 S-rank or 2 A-ranks. Maximum of Five may partake in this job. Dark/Guildless/neutral mages only
Job Requirements: 25000words total. must roll 10 times unless you make 30 posts. Boss may be spawned after all rolls are made
Job Location: (your choice, so long as it is a town with people)
Job Description: By making it this far in life as a mage with little respect for the law, your name has been passed around more than once to those who hire your kind. It just so happens your name has been pulled for the upcoming job. Be it a political figure, a simple revenge, or possibly for money. The story is always up to you, but there is always one thing that is completely similar no matter the job. This requires an assassination. Who? Thats up to the one that hires you(npc). It is best recommended that you do not take this job lightly, as your target is always well prepared, body guards or they may even be some veteran mage. Truth be told, imagination is the limit, but your job is a dark one. Someone wants someone dead, and that someone that is hiring you is not a good guy. Your target most likely has a bounty on their head too. However everyone at this level would have guards, you may want to deal with them, while snooping around to get ready to kill the target.
Enemies: If you so decide to run with weak-strong that is entirely up to you, and should be stated at the first post. The boss may be brought forth at any time after 30 posts have been made or you roll 10 times, so there is a way to do this with only the boss fight. Good luck
Weak: Typical mages/body guards/good guys; They're all B-rank in power but they have 5 of them per roll. These would be the eyes and ears of the town, and if you're causing a lotta ruckas, asking too many questions, or being too nosy, these guys typically show up. They're the hired muscle that do not directly work with the target, but are typically street thugs that're hired.
Normal: The men and women that hold some sort of small string to the target. They're the waiters/waitresses/bouncers/receptionists/ect... they're the ones that have some small intel on the target, and work in the target's stores/resturaunts/ect... or if the target is of some gang, they're the ones commanding the weak rolls. They typically have 3 of these per roll, and they're always A-rank, and packing heat(some form of concealed weapon) almost all the time, as well as a few nasty tricks, not to mention a few from the weak roll(1-4 your choice) may show up.
Strong: These are the managers, the big shots, the second in commands, the ones that call shots, and they're the ones that do the main hiring. They're only bested by the boss him/her self, and they are no easy task either. They're S-rank easily, and will typically have 2-3 members from the normal roll on call, able to bring them in with ease.
Boss: Finally, you've reached the target, but have they noticed you trailing them? killing their guards/hired hands/workers? Roll a hit dice, if hit, then they noticed, if not then congrats. You managed to do your job so well, they're unprotected. However, if it rolled a 'hit' then when you finally spawn the boss (or roll the boss), shit will hit the fan. They have a couple guards. Roll the dice twice to see what they brought with. Just remember, the boss? Yeah... he/she would be S-rank in power, but good luck, they have a fair deal of skill themselves.
Reward: 75k Jewels ; x2 Job experience

Do you fear magic? Its a question asked by many when looking to tour the Pergrande Kingdom. A nation that has outright banned, and killed off any magic within the boarders. So, why would this sort of nation draw attention? It was a question that united attempts from both the light and the dark mages of fiore to investigate. A few had been sent in, none had come out. Though with the rumor that the nation dispatches an entire army after a single individual who may contain magic, then yes, such a nation may be a force to be reckoned with, and this force was why Raiza enlisted the help of even those he did not immediately think of as allies. There were a few within his own guild he could have called upon, but those he could were already busy. Basilisk fang's members were also busy, and no way in hell was Raiza about to enlist the help of a legal guild. Black sails would only be interested in the loot, which there may not even be any, so... Pharaoh's Call was Raiza's choice in the matter at hand.
It had only been a number of days since he sent the letter out towards the guild. His name was kept a secret, but he did mention that he was not a legal mage. Nothing did he indicate was an evil, but there may have been a hint.Though why he sent this letter, was not for just the help, but to ensure the one they sent would not come for him after this. After all, the target was a political figure that had been rumored to be talking about pushing forward an action to spread their land, and possibly take over magical nations such as Fiore. For those within Fiore, this was a good job to ensure that man was taken care of. For those like Raiza, an assassination of this man could ensure a worldly presence of a problem beginning to spread. The letter Raiza sent was
'Greetings, Pharaoh's Call. Do you value magic? If an entire nation were to attack, would you be ready? I asked myself this, and regrettfully, could not think of a way to be ready for an entire nation. This is an S-class job that a client came to me with. A man within the Pergrande Kingdom is beginning to gain support with the ranting and raving that he does. You may ask yourself, what does this mean, or what does this have to do with Pharaoh's call, or any other guild. Simple. This man is a military political figure. He is protected by guards quite often, and is trying to be allowed to use the nation's massive army for one reason. That Reason is to take over, and exterminate the magical beasts, and mages of the boardering lands, and possibly even come to Fiore. You may ask yourself, why have you not heard of this job before? I will be honest, and you may choose to not come to the meeting point because of this, but I am not a legal mage. My client works in the shadows, and as do I. This job is classified as a dark job, an under the bush job that many never hear about. Except there is a problem this time. All three sides are in jeopardy here. Both the light, the neutral, and the dark guilds will be a cake walk to this nation's army. That is why I am sending the letter to you now. I aim to ensure this man never gets the political approval, or the backing he needs. You see, that nation's army dwarfs many nations, including Fiore's without trying, and I am sure there are things we can do to ensure the longevity of fiore. The meeting point will be shown in the holo-lac that I provided inside of the envelope. Only a Pharaoh's Call member may access it.' |
Though one had to presume it would never be that easy, so at the very least, Raiza had an excellent forward operating base to work from. One that definitely allowed quite the variety of actions. Though one thing he wasn't prepared for was... what would the personal, or person that arrived actually do if they found out he was one of the elven sinners of Fiore? There was the obvious trick to try to stay transformed, but it only lasted roughly twenty or so hours before it was forced to revert. So, he could only hope for the best possible outcome. He had all the job notes from his client, un-altered, and laid out plain as day. If by some miracle that this went off perfectly, and the job was done, he could even consider a potential alliance of connivance with Pharaoh's Call.
