Rank: Strong
Type: Ring
Description:
- Ring of Draining:
- Made of rather sturdy materials, it is very hard to actually break this ring with physical attacks
Weaknesses:
- If this ring isn't being worn, it is useless.
- At the end of the day, it is just a ring. As such, it is susceptible to being lost just like any other ring.
Ability:
- Spoiler:
- Spiritual LeechWhen being worn, this ring interfaces with the users magical nexus, connecting directly to it. However, while one would be forgiven for assuming this allows them to cast spells through the ring, this is not the case. In fact, what this ring actually does is that it allows the user to absorb the mana used to power hostile spells. Currently, this can be done with any spell up to B-rank. There is a bit of stipulation to this however: it cannot be used to absorb supportive spells, AoE spells, or spells that hit multiple times at once. But, for spells that it can absorb, all that is required is for the ring to be worn on either hand, then thrust outwards. This activates the gem set in the stone, and draws the mana into the ring, which is then converted to mana for the user. However, if this is used while the user has spent no mana, then the stone will start to glow, and the mana stored within it will be consumed the next time the user casts a spell, or would otherwise use mana.
Note: In terms of absorbing mana from damage dealing spells, the user can only gain up to 3% of the mana used for themselves, due to the conversion being imperfect. If used to negate a spell however, the conversion does not occur, and it can negate any spell of B-Rank or lower before going a 5 post cooldown-a cooldown which can be seen by the glow of the stone within the ring becoming more and more dull until fading away entirely after the last post of the cooldown.
