It was a bright, beautiful morning in Neutral Grounds. A city of no magic, but with strong spirit. It was like it’s own little world, with tall buildings and automobiles zooming down streets at speeds so fast, they were only but a mere flash of color to the human eye. Isn't it funny how humanity can only perceive so little of their environment? How funny it is when they claim to be intelligent, but the only others who call them clever are other humans. They truly are an narcissistic race, but that just makes them so much more interesting to play with. It was all like a game that can be played by anyone, some can excel at it more than others. But there was a time limit. A human's body was programmed to die the moment it was born. Each cell dying by the second, deteriorating skin, rotting away as fast as an apple when left out. It was a choice given by fate, and no force, no voice could ever rebel against fate. Many wished to play the game differently. Some realized that their time on this planet is going by quicker and quicker, and take risks. Some found pleasure in ending others' time here themselves. Some refused to acknowledge that this life was a game all together, and live their lives in a sinful bliss.

But it didn't matter, none of it did. All of it was the choice of fate. Everyone's end in something was inevitable. No one can change their fate unless fate decides to change it. One does not cheat death, it is the world's will decides to extend their life longer. And today, an innocent farmer would fall victim to a murder given to him by Achim Anicetus, a mere and humble servant in the name of Savage Skull. Even this action was the will of the world, one could argue that they were all pawns, but can rise to be the queen of the board.

Achim never was one to follow the rules, and never submitted to those of stronger power. Especially those who are overly confident. But right now? He stood in front of a peaceful farm, wearing a nice black suit with a tie, red shirt, and black pants and shoes. He always wore black when he had a murderous intent, it was the appropriate color at someone's funeral. In between his fingers dwiddled a pocket knife, his signature tool, small, but deadly.

He licked the knife with a taunting smirk, "...Heh." Achim cackled before walking down the dirt path to the farm. In the distance were fields of tall, beautiful patches of wheat, corn, and tomatoes. It had the rich smell of nature to it, combined with morning dew, it really topped it off. Shame that it all had to burn down so soon! The idea made Achim roll his eyes in disappointment, but also smile at the outstanding sight of a burning building. The heat, the smoke, it all was amazing together.

He hopped over the fence that was painted white, seemingly years ago, as you could see patches of scratched wood here and there. There was peace here that needed to be broken, and Achim was here to bring it.

Approaching the red barn with scratchy paint, the door was opened just slightly. It was almost too easy, but he did ponder how he would burn the place down. That was something to think on. On another note, he peeked in. "Helloooooooo?~ Anyone in here?" Nothing was seen but darkness. Shrugging, he let himself in and closed the door behind him, the only white light coming from the windows. But suddenly...

"Who the hell are you?! Get outta here, you filthy bastard! If it's the crops 'er looking 'fer, they ain't for sale, kiddo! Scram!" A small, wide man with a sweaty white shirt that complimented his gut, long pants, sandals, and well lit cigarette between his teeth. In his hands were a rusty hoe, poking it at him. "I SAID SCRAM!" He yelled and swung his hoe at Achim, but it was only in the blink of an eye that Achim disappeared into shadows, reforming behind the man and striking him directly in the spine with his pocket knife, cackling.

"Do forgive me, sir! But your sad, pathetic life ends here. Just you, me, and the darkness. Although, since I am here..." With the farmer stunned and in a silent pain, Achim dragged him and pinned him against the nearest wooded pillar of the farm, tossing the hoe away. "Let's see... let's see, fire... hmmm, fiiiire... oh!" With a hand to his chin, he turned to find some gasoline in the corner, in it's jug. Grabbing it, he winked over to the farmer, "Say, I guess the saying 'you're on fire!' is gonna come to life, heh!" The farmer looked at him with eyes filled with fear. Oh, the fear in his eyes made Achim feel so erotic! It was a beautiful sight! The look humans made when they were faced with their fate was so nice, and made him feel so  righteous.

Achim used one hand to pry the man's eyelids open, ensuring that all the gasoline he poured glazed a layer over his eyes. He finished, and did that same with the other eye. Oh, how the man cried! His tear ducts refused to empty, and he was consumed with excruciating pain of the gasoline intoxicating his eyes. They instantly became red, but despite the Farmer's efforts, he was in too much shock to move. He nearly choked on his cigarette from his screams.

Achim snickered and snatched the burning cigarette from his teeth, inspecting it. "Thaaaaank you! This is just what I needed, good sir!" He blew gently on the heated joint, smirking at the man. They both knew that the tiniest flame is all that was needed to send him in flames. "Oh, before I get too excited..." He flipped out his pocket knife, leaned down and pressed it against his belly. He pressed harder, and harder, and it had finally had sliced the flesh. It cut deep, blood oozed endlessly from the gashes. The man screamed louder, his eyes bulging in both pain and shock. From these cuts came letters that created just one message.

Licking the blood off of the blade, Achim leaned back up and drizzled more gasoline over him, a trail leading down from his eyes. He blew on the cigarette one last time, lighting it more, and pressed it against his bulging eye. His eye burst into flames, as you could see the eye rot away into blackness. The farmer screamed, jolted, and choked on his spit. Achim knew that his death would lead to the farm's destruction in a fiery massacre. And there would remain his body, left there for everyone to see.

Achim snickered as he watched the man burn, and took his leave.

On the man's body was a messaged carved into his flesh, with the simple words,

    'Where is your God?'
