Crashing That Wedding | Mission | Mavis and Dynamo

Mission:

Mavis quietly walked around her apartment to her bathroom, grabbing a towel from the dryer. Readying her shower she started to strip from the pajamas she wore to bed the night before, the pajamas decorated in pandas and small hearts. The material of the pajamas as soft as silk. She slowly prepped the shower, getting the water ready. Turning the knobs to the perfect position for the perfect shower, she smiled this was much needed, showers always jump start her morning. As she got in the shower the sound of water hitting skin began to fill the apartment. 

Mavis sighed of relief. This was just what the Pegasus woman had needed. After the day before fighting all those strong monsters. However she was lucky to had received help from Chloe, Ezra and Luna. Either way, she enjoyed a warm shower after a hard day of work.

Mavis made sure to use her conditioner and shampoo set that would make her hair silky-soft and as well as smell like cherries. Her body-wash however was a totally different scent, it smelt like strawberries, she had a knack for mixing more than one scent, especially if the scents complimented and went with each other. The woman had washed her hair and body, making sure to leave nothing unwashed. Shutting the water off she would step out of the shower and dry herself off, with a previously obtained towel.

She smiled as she dried her hair and wrapped a towel around her body, looking at her reflection. She had grown so much, compared to her younger self she had gone through great distance in the game called life, to become the woman she was today. As she finished drying off she grabbed her toothbrush making sure to brush them and making her teeth pearly-white as well as making her breathe smell minty-clean. 

As she had received details from the guild she was to attend a wedding accompanied by another member. Mavis waited at the train station for her partner. The train wouldn't leave for another hour or so and Mavis wanted to meet this new member.

Strolling across the plains of Clover Town, Jacky heads toward the train station for his first assigned mission as a Blue Pegasus mage. "Huh... Wonder what the mission will be like?" Jacky asked himself as he ran his fingertips through his hair upwards, adding a gel like substance to his hair to spike it up. Details from the Blue Pegasus guild that Jacky recently entered were somewhat broad, in Jacky's mind at-least that they were. "Hm.. So I smacked on this suit they sent me and now uhm... I meet up with another member who will be helping me out if I remember correctly. Hmph, hope the members of this guild aren't stuck up to be honest; ran in too many snobs in legals before when I went around Fiore".

"Praying that it isn't the case with this guild. Surprised that they would just up and recruit a low life mage like me, I'll have to repay them the favor. If it wasn't for this opportunity, I would of still been roaming around with no real objective." Pondering on the whole recruitment into the Blue Pegasus guild and how maybe his upcoming mission may play out. "Just who is this member that I'll be partnering up with on this mission? Oh! Maybe its a buff dude with sick Requip abilities like me! Or possibly an assassin with powers of a dragon!" Speculating on whom he will be partnering with during this first mission, Jacky began to arrive at his destination. Revealing itself to Jacky, a quaint and small little train station infiltrate the view Jacky previously had; that of grassy plains and petite cottages. "Hm..? Forgot to take a shower this morning... Just in case its a girl... I'll spray myself with a shit ton of cologne." Jacky told himself as he applied as ass ton of cologne, smelling himself after to ensure he didn't overdue it.

"SHIT! I OVERDID IT! No matter... Its most likely another dude. Chances of it being a girl or anybody important is slim!" Convincing his own conscious that he'll be fine, Jacky entered the train station, wearing a black suit with a pink tie in which were adorned and patterned with golden. Swinging his head around, Jacky searched around the station for a person whom belonged to Blue Pegasus; wearing formal attire. Problem about this situation though is that Jacky has yet to be introduced to anyone within the guild itself, besides an odd wack job whom recruited him in. Noticing a golden brown haired girl in particular who appeared to be wearing formal attire, Jacky wondered if she was part of the Blue Pegasus guild.

Mavis had opened a projected screen, this one a blue tint which usually she made them orange, however she was feeling rather blue today, for Blue Pegasus. As she looked at the screen she brought up a list of newly joined members of Blue Pegasus, a face profile of the newer members were revealed, such as Luna, Chloe, Lanta, Luard and Jack. Mavis looked around for any members that match the profiles of these five people. Scanning the area she saw no one for a good three minutes, wondering if maybe the bartender had mixed it up that she'd be going with a newbie. However after checking again she saw Jack, and she closed the screen running to him. She bowed, once in front of him.


"Oi~ nice to meet you, I am Mavis Lockheart. Nice to meet you?" She introduced herself waiting for him to do the same.

Mavis would hope the boy would be ready for such a mission. She was, she had gone on several dangerous missions so she got the jest of things in missions.

"I hope you don't mind I'd love to hang out before our mission, that's why I had the bartender schedule the mission meet-up an hour earlier than the actual time." Mavis explained why they'd be meeting up so early.

She stood with her signature warm smile that could make anyone open up and feel wanted, even if they had felt they weren't Mavis always would find a way to make them feel wanted. This was because she knew the feeling of being useless and she wished that upon no one, so she did her best to avoid that for any one.

Glancing over at the girl whom stood off at a distance, Jacky was appalled by the pleasant appearance she kept. "Wow..." Struck by her beautifully maintained looks, Jacky continued to search around to ensure that there is nobody else whom have taken upon a formal attire. After a swift scan around the train station, Jacky determined that she was the real deal; she had to be; a member of Blue Pegasus. Confirming this was the girl as she suddenly ran up toward Jacky's location within the station. Introducing herself accompanied by a heartening smile that surely eased Jacky aloft his first encounter with her; Mavis Lockheart, Jacky went and introduced himself as well.

"Yo! Name is Jack; Jacky J. Dynamo. You can call me "Jacky" Nice to meet you Mavis." Taking it upon himself to introduce his identity as a fellow member of the Blue Pegasus guild. Honestly, Jacky was quite nervous on meeting Mavis though having met various people during a previous mentioned journey across Fiore. Rolling along the conversation, Mavis spoke about how she wished to hang out before embarking on the task at hand. This had been the sole reason Mavis scheduled the meet-up an hour earlier rather than the original time, Jacky didn't mind this in the slightest.

"Well.. Have anything in mind? Unless you just want to talk around and wait for the train?" Standing right before Mavis as she displayed a brilliant smile, Jacky asked the maiden a question. Pondering on what they should do, Jacky rubbed the back of his head.

The man clearly was nervous as he introduced himself, she only smiled. If only he had known that she researched him before hand and knew exactly who the man was. It was no secret but it was cute he still found it necessarily to introduce himself. It was also no secret that the man was a form of attractiveness, but that was just how Blue Pegasus, rolled. They always had attractive members. It was like a curse for them to only get sexy members, but that wasn't a curse it was more so a blessing, that Mavis was silently grateful for.

"Ahh, well of course Jacky~" Mavis nodded, "I always am planned on what to do, I was thinking we could go get some food before the mission, my treat." 

He smile hidden from the man as she had turned and walked off to the famous restaurant in Clover. Known as the Royale Burst, it was one of the most expensive restaurants in all of Fiore, using only fresh ingredients and as well as experimental food, which any one afraid of trying these foods would feel silly after taking just a tiny nibble as their mouth would burst with flavor. Mavis always went here before a huge mission and it was her treat to introduce a new young Pegasus to this fascinating restaurant.

"Now I don't care about the price I just want you to eat good, okie?~" Mavis coo'd as she guided them to the doors of the huge palace like building.

As she pushed open both doors, the colored windows on the door, of royal purple and light pink illuminate the pathway inside. Mavis had them seated at one of the finest round tables, with thrones fit for a king and queen. As they sat down in the chair, people dressed as butlers would push them in. As a waitress dressed as a maid walked up, Mavis had already in mind what she wanted.


"Oi~ Hello Lady Mavis." The waitress bowed, gracefully. "Good to see you again, is it the same order as last time? Caesar Salad with a side of three chicken strips and a glass of water?" She had asked Mavis.

Mavis nodded, "Yes I am surprised you remember." Mavis then looked at Jack. "He's new so he might need some time come back in like five minutes." She would answer for him, dismissing the waitress.

Looking at Jack with curious eyes as he would look over the menu.

"So, are you excited for the mission?" Mavis asked. "Also, what made you accept our offer to join our once crumbling guild." 

Mavis sat, her left leg over her right, her back straight and her head resting against the cushioning on the throne. Her posture was top of the line.

Offering up a meal toward her fellow pegasi; a blue haired Pegasus at that, Jacky was once again taken aback by Mavis's generous generosity. Exceeding over the regular amount usual people own is what Jacky believed Mavis owned upon presentation. As if she was a royal princess, stylishly and elegantly graced off into a direction without any further words as it appeared to Jacky that she insisted in satisfying the boy's hunger before there imminent mission. Speechless, Jacky let no word seep out of his mouth; nor release of bafflement upon her internal and external request. To add it simply, Jacky had been completely won over to the point that when he wished to speak; nothing escaped. Spirits of uplifting joy arose Jacky's overall mood once laying eyes on thus whom the wealthy class tend to scarf down grand cuisine at; Royale Burst. Permitting Jacky to be able to purchase anything regardless of the price, Jacky's imagination had began running rampant as he wondered of the types of gourmet arrays of food there were served on silver platters. Entrance into the palace sort of restaurant, Jacky's eyes widened as they took their seats down. Attending to Mavis almost instantly upon arrival, a waiter took down Mavis's order; by memory from Mavis's previous and usual order. It was not how swiftly the waitress attended to Mavis yet it was what Mavis's habitual order was that caught Jacky off guard due to the simplicity of the order. For all Jacky knew, it could just be that she favors ordinary type food though with the restaurant's exquisite expertise in the culinary arts; the order can very well turn out to be drenched in various flavors.

Recognizing Jacky's lack of experience with this restaurant's menu, Mavis spoke for Jacky and opened up time for Jacky to decide on his order. Gazing over the menu without have even saying a word since their arrival besides mumbles, Jacky opened up as Mavis questioned him on a few areas in which her curiosity roamed. "If it means I can beat people's ass for doing dumb shit then hell.. call me excited!" Is in which Jacky exclaimed as he kept peeking over the menu then to open up and speak again to reply towards Mavis's second question. "Never really knew it was crumbling. Never really cared that it was crumbling. Since I'll just help rebuild it and in return become a legend! Or not.... Ehehehe. Honestly, not too long ago I was a simple rogue mage just venturing around Fiore without any real motive besides becoming the best I can be. Not until about a week ago was when I came across a weirdo with an odd hat who was recruiting experienced and non-experienced mages inside the Blue Pegasus guild whom spoke about friends and legends that it came upon me that I should join a "Guild". Anyways uh, I've made up my mind on my order. Thanks for the meal Mavis, I'm sorta broke right now ehehe." Raising up his hand to catch a waitresses attention, Jacky lets the waitress know of his order. "Just a steak and potatoes on the side. It can be any steak you wish. For a beverage.. uhm.. I'll take water." Having the waitress take down his order, being dismissed right after writing down his order. "Yo Mav. How come you joined Blue Pegasus? Anything special bout it? Or is just maybe that you have a partner in the guild? Or a family relative? Whatever it is... let me know! I want to get to know you Mavis.. your pretty cool." Investigating into Mavis a little bit as a person, Jacky inquired.

It seemed the exquisite taste of the restaurant had Jack on the tip of his toes, had he not ever been to a restaurant of such a high taste? Oh well, Mavis would gladly take his virginity. She was glad he accepted her offer for buying his food, glad he wasn't one of those guys who thought women can't pay for a damn meal or stick up for themselves. Mavis looked at the excited Jack, he looked like a little child, youth illuminated on his face his smile was side like a child opening a present, which that small present somehow meant the world to the child. That was the look Mavis was receiving from the new Blue Pegasus wizard. It was enticing it brought a smile to her face, this smile was wide and full of joy, pure joy of seeing someone else happy.

As he ordered Mavis looked around at everyone dressed formerly, looking as if they owned kingdoms upon kingdoms. They were probably all the rich-stuck up snobby kind of people too, the ones she despised the most. The ones who had riches and thought that being rich automatically got them a spot in higher intelligence, higher positions on teams, higher education and more happiness. When in all honesty they were blind, as blind as a rat who had it's eyes stabbed in with a fork. Mavis looked at the building though it was a work of art, the architecture was amazing, stunning it took her breathe away that this had been built in the short work of three days, using magic. Stunning.

Mavis one day hoped she could build something like this, to own such a successful business. Maybe a little less pricey.

Dynamo had explained why he joined, simply to kick ass and to rebuild the guild, sounded like a noble reason, maybe a bit on the blunt side but hey, Mavis liked a person who got straight to their point. As the man ordered Mavis added up the bill to fifty-thousand jewels. Hah that was just the cheap part of the restaurant. He also seemed curious on her intentions for joining.

"You wanna know my story? My story for joining the ranks of Pegasi?" Mavis asked a rhetorical question. "I joined to rise up the ranks, to become a legend, but not just any legend. The girl who had the power to bring together a crumbling guild, a guild that was looked down upon and spat on. Seen as trashy and a waste of time." Mavis began to go into depth of her intentions. "I will be the rising star of the guild, and short work of being a rising star. I hope to one day be the master of this once great guild and bring it back into the lights and make it an enhanced image, give it some oomph. The Masters before me have left not much, but enough to get the ball rolling. That is what I will be remembered for, why I joined, to revive and make the guild great again. To be the shining image of Blue Pegasus." 

Mavis smirked as the food had shown up, she bit into her salad, chewing with her mouth closed, listening to her partner's opinion on her image.

Becoming accustomed toward his surroundings at an abnormally rapid pace, Jacky had become truly relaxed with both Mavis and the structure he was now residing; Royale Burst. Highly influential men and women all gathered within this renowned restaurant to feast upon this establishment's culinary masterpieces, Jacky never thought anything of this until actually snatching a few glimpses around the area. "Could it be... Mavis is simply another one of these people. Nah, Mavis doesn't look like the type of person who would act like them. Ought to see and listen on what her intentions or reasons are for joining this guild before questioning her on anything else." Convincing his wild conscious that he nor the devil dancing along his shoulders shall say not another word before capturing an image of what she is like; Mavis Lockheart of Blue Pegasus.

Apprehending the Pegasi's overall reason and motive as for why she adjoined herself into the guild, Jacky glared at Mavis with squinted eyes and pursed lips as he was not sure if he quite understood properly. Concluding all of that she wished to share as for purpose and intentions as a Pegasi within the guild, Mavis had now made quite a sturdy first impressions on Jacky's overall stance. What a wavering transition into a harsher point of view, Jacky had shifted his internal pose as he grew against Mavis's opposing side. "During that whole speech of yours Mavis... there were questions I wanted to ask you. Forgot them all already ehehe but anyways, thanks for the meal!" Avoiding directly turning the conversation into an interview, Jacky patiently awaited his food whilst envying the cuisine being carried by the waitresses passing by Jacky and Mavis's table. Arriving at the table, Jacky's food is set right before him as he held both a fork and a knife; ready to nosh away the meal Jacky was oh so thankful for. Focusing solely on the meal only a few inches ahead of him laid on the table, Jacky began to guzzle it down whilst a few higher class folk caught eye of his "lower class" behavior.

As the food was delivered, Mavis kept up her etiquette behavior or one might consider it just common sense manners. However the woman just kept on eating, her mouth closes as she chewed and swallowed. However for her Companion he was different, like a mower ripping the grass and flinging it around, wasting no time mowing down the grass. He had food flying out of his mouth as he was chowing down, probably wasn't even tasting the food to it's full potential, not savoring his bites. Mavis had finished only a third of her food, while her friend probably either polished his off or had been nearly finished before the staff surrounded their table, as if they were an angry mob.

The maid-dressed waitress who had obtained their order from before spoke rudely to both of them, "Miss Mavis. You are being kicked out and banned to bring this savage back until he can prove he is a civilized human being." 

"He's just enjoying the food." Mavis stated in defense.

A waiter dressed as a butler quickly intersected her statement, "He is a wild-beast. No and ifs or butts. Leave now before we triple your bill."

Mavis nodded her head in defeat, paying the bill, leaving her food to get cold. That was whatever, she was getting full anyways. It wasn't like she had a big appetite anyways, so it was all good. She looked at Jacky hoping he wouldn't be guilty or disappointed.

"I hope the food was good," Mavis smiled. "I also hope you don't feel guilty, I wouldn't mind the stuck-ups." Mavis chuckled.

The woman had directed them back to the train-station which they would board and arrive at the destination in an hour. They would be attending a wedding, basically acting as body-guards if the ex-boyfriend was to stir up trouble. The two of them would watch for any mischievous activity and make sure it was put to a stop, and if things for to a certain point of drama. They were to exterminate the problem with force. Mavis would pray the day would go drama-free being it was a wedding and was suppose to be fun.

Mavis had arrived in a red-formal-dress. It was a outstanding dress a real crowd-please dress and drew in attention due to the bright red color of the dress. Hopefully Mavis' partner Jack had done the same. Mavis stood around waiting in the corner of the wedding to draw less attention being in the front of middle where people could really see her. Looking out for anyone dangerous.
