Luna Jaeger's Secondary Magic Training [Private]

White clouds blotted out the airy blue sky hanging above the enrobed figure who draped upon the grassy plain of mountain's edge, lazing over the details of the previous week without much of a care. Knowing that one could not simply laze away their life, the robed figure stood with a deep groan as shrouded eyes focused upon the mountain which stood before them. Pressing their hands upon the ground, the wind began to swirl around themselves, pushing off the robe's hood to reveal curled locks of silken midnight and angular, beautiful features of a woman. With a push, they were sent rocketing into the sky over high, latching onto the mountain with reckless abandon. Touching her fingers against the mountain's surface, she climbed it as if the world's stickiest adhesive was bound to her finger tips. Silence and a series of tiny holes in the rock face were all that the woman left behind, focusing intently upon the mountain as she crawled up to a cliff and jumped off the mountain to the grassy plain. Nearby, tranquil silence flooded the area with a crystal-clear pond where the woman stooped to fill her mouth with chilling-cold spring water.

Thoroughly refreshed, she thought of what exactly was on her agenda for the week and one thing became evidently clear, to the exclusion of all else. She would begin to awaken the Goddess Spark deep within her. Luna would need help with training to manifest that power, and so she had called upon a friend to help her with that part of the training. The other part, the deep shard or fragment of the goddess, was something that only Luna could do on her own. It was something deep within, after all. For the moment, though, she sat there and made a small camp for three, awaiting her friend.

Luna continued to focus on this first and most basic step of her training, her genius intellect already coming up with eleven more on a twelve-step progress to getting her secondary magic learned and trained up. Crimzon had already taught her somewhat of the magic before, though it was scant for details - enough though, for Luna to learn of the magic she desired on her own. She needed to awaken whatever sleeping power was within her. Memories of her past were vividly playing out in her mind as she continued with the game of focus, memories of her time with Eris and Hera when much younger than right now. Eris had helped Luna in awakening something within the girl, and it was those memories which Luna called upon now. The girl had also learned secrets from many other worlds in the time she spent abroad, learning of more than just of their history. This had been how she had found a friend... of sorts. Mind returning to the practice at hand, Luna saw that her progress was slow so she decided to do something a bit different. Raising her severed right arm this time, Lina pointed out, and was elated to find that the magical energy was easier to channel and focus when it had less arm to travel through.

Focusing intently, the woman continued with her training, improving at a faster pace than before until she found herself casually switching between arms now and again. She felt the different levels of resistance and began to getting a taste for the differences which allowed her to compensate more or less through willpower depending on which arm she was channeling through. By the time her left arm was somewhat precise, her right arm had already mastered the game. By this time, darkness was settling on the cliff and she prepared for sleep. The first day was done, she would be able to get more done.

Awakening on the morrow, the groans of the woman could be hear - light shining in her eyelids forcing her to wake. Luna took a quick moment to pack up her bedroll from the previous night to continue with her intense training regimen on the serene cliff, knowing that it was time to move on to the second step of her training - the second of twelve steps in her program to unlock the secrets of her second magic. Earlier, on the day before, she had learned to focus her magical energy into one point with great accuracy, though that was just the first of many things which would need be accomplished. Resuming her training, Luna returned to the spot where she had been standing previously while training yesterday. Now, creating a pinpoint dot, Luna focused on sending her magical energy through her body from it's vessel and to that point, to create a ripple of magic power in the very air. As with before, things didn't go well to start - the ripple being very tiny and barely visible.

The issue at hand this time wasn't focus but rather the ability to draw out all of that raw power at once rather than in a small trickle of energy. This was a lesson which was required for her to learn now if Luna wished to continue with her training. Luna held her arm out in a second attempt, trying to send everything out at once to the point but only serving to make a slightly bigger ripple. It pissed her off that she was having little effect, and that she was all alone out here by herself, forced to learn it now or be forever lost. She tried to remember from Crimzon had told her before, memories flowing through her mind of her time with Black Rose.

Memoirs of the past flowed into the manubrium of Luna as she relived the events of her life as a member of Black Rose, thoughts and feeling emerging all at once until Luna finally shut them out and focused upon the current. She progressed deeper into her mind while on the outside her training continued - on one hand thirst for knowledge pushing her willpower to steady on while on the other hand, she simply wished to be done of the training so that she could continue her journey. Luna's growth had exploded exponentially, power which she could not imagine - which she could not dream becoming hers to behold. Day's light proceeded to beat upon her from overcast in the cliffs and so the trek continued. She continued to delve deep through the trek of her past to memories of her former master and what he had told her for when this day arrived. Careful progress finally brought her. As the memory emerged into the forefront of the woman's mind, a soft rattle escaped the lilet lips of the woman now having revealed the necessary information. Who was this woman to have delved to deeply into her own mind and then found it to be a fascinating endeavor?

A new power welled within Luna, the words of Crimzon having helped her to reach this point as a large wave of magical energy rushed forth through her and expelling from her hand, revealing a mirror sheen on the other side with ripples of light formed upon the edge. The form was only quasi-complete, however this stage of Luna's training had already bound forth by a half-step in a matter of a few minutes. There was still so much to do, there was simply no way to do so more efficiently than she had already done, however at the end of this massive ordeal Luna would find herself stronger than before - that much was certain.

Having met with in-quantifyable success early, Luna knew that she had to push on with her training so that this leg of it would be done by close to noon, or possibly even earlier due to that magnificent burst in her learning speed thanks to a former friend. The funny thing was that she had been using her left hand this entire time,. so there was no telling what was possible with the right. It was about time to learn about what that possibility might entail, and so Luna prepared her right arm by holding it outwards, stub and all, towards where she wished for the mirror to make it's appearance. Reaching deep within herself, Luna felt the ebb and flow of magic, allowed it to course through her body and directed it's flow through a past of least resistance. Paired with a perfectly ovaloid mirror of water sheen, Luna forced the magic to flow out and do just that - shape itself into an oval with a reflective surface and barely a ripple on the eaves of the mirror's edges. It was quite obvious that this mirror was much more stable than even the previous attempt. Luna knew there was some major component missing - a key which was required to do more with the mirror than to simply show her reflection. Luna released the energy which was holding the mirror and allowed itself to subside until it was nothingness. This segment, phase two, of her training was now complete and now there was something required of Luna for her to continue along the twelve paths of progress. She would get to that soon enough, she simply needed a momentary rest and a bit of food to fill her. Luna had just finished exerting herself, after all. Replenishment was needed.

Once Luna was fulfilled from her training, she noticed that it was an hour before noon by the placement of the sun and then went over to where her items had been stored - looking for one item in particular among her stuff. Reaching into the sailors kitbag of pure blue hues, withdrawing a chest of mahogany with gold-plated lines arcing the chest's outside - making an exquisite chest that had been well-crafted to suit the contained item well. Luna's hands withdrew a key from her side, sliding into the lock and undoing the mechanism. With the lack now unlocked, she opened the chest casually to reveal what would seem like the insides of any chest - though this was simply a form of concealing it should it fall into the wrong hands - withdrawing the jewel and placing it into her coin purse, then removing the space compartment to find the object of her obsession wrapped in fine indigo silk. Withdrawing the silk-wrapped arm, Luna pulled out a series of tools and began to unwrap the bandages surrounding her stump which was actually very well-preserved due to mummification techniques. Luna places a wooden cylinder in her mouth, to help deal with the pain and also to ensure she didn't bite her own tongue off by accident, then went about the painful process of digging out and connecting nerve endings to the fibers of the arm, taking her excruciating time knowing that she would rather do the job right the first time then fuck shit up. Eventually, once the first process was complete, she pulled on the brace and connected the plate to her elbow. Once connecting all the rods into place, she finally screwed in the pins that would hold this thing together as if it was really her arm. Luna flexed the mechanical arm, felling it move as if her own, and was satisfied. Now, back to training.

Footsteps crunched down on the gravel of the mountains base. A pair of bare feet, bruised and calloused ground against the rubble as if it was a natural feeling for the man walking with a large brown sack slung over his shoulder. Mashyuu stopped and took a deep breath of air, sniffing the familiar scent of Luna in the air. A gentle smile spread over his lips purely based the bliss he got from knowing she was close. The two had only done one job together but they grew close quick as they both nearly died more than once. Itsu bumped into the back of Mashyuu, not knowing that he had stopped. "Hey! I'm excited to help her too but you need to warn me if you're gonna stop mid stride stone foot! I don't understand how you can wear so much stuff but not shoes!" She gestured up and down his body, garbed in brown and orange. "We are close, this won't take. Secondary magic is never that hard to figure out. Hell even mine wasn't that hard to figure." Mashyuu commented.

The pair glanced at one another and continued to round the mountain to see the woman near a small pond of crystal like water. The man smirked and walked over to her, sure that her enhanced senses would alert her to his presence. "So, you are training for your secondary? I really thought by now that you would have unlocked it. You seem so sure of yourself in your Wind magic. I really thought it was a second form of wind magic you used." Mashyuu stepped up to the side of the woman and dropped down to a knee to touch the water. He grinned and scooped up some in his palm and took a swig of water then washed his face as he was sure it was covered in dirt or dust from the lingering particles near the base of the mountain. Itsu snuck up behind Luna and hugged her tight. "LUNA Hi! Are you ready to kick all sorts of ass? Where do you wanna start? Oh maybe you want to seduce Mashyuu and get him to tell you about his magical secret arts? Or maybe you want to take a swim in the water?"

"So, you are training for your secondary? I really thought by now that you would have unlocked it. You seem so sure of yourself in your Wind magic. I really thought it was a second form of wind magic you used."

"I've made that magic my own, and perhaps that's why I haven't exactly awakened or accessed the power laying dormant within myself. I'm attempting to coax that power out, and train to be able to handle the magic once it's out. I'm learning a form of take-over magic that has to do with my mother." was the only explanation which Luna was able to give Mashyuu at the moment as everything was highly unknown to her more than what had already been explained. Nothing more could be known to her until she delved within some part of herself to see it.

"LUNA Hi! Are you ready to kick all sorts of ass? Where do you wanna start? Oh maybe you want to seduce Mashyuu and get him to tell you about his magical secret arts? Or maybe you want to take a swim in the water?"

"Well hey, Itsu, of course I'm ready to kick all sorts of ass, though using my miasma on Mashyuu wouldn't be quite fair to him, so I'd rather abstain from that. As for water, I've already been, it's wonderful why don't you give it a try? I'd love to take a dip with you, perhaps Mashyuu could join us too. Luna smiled, standing up from her little perch and just dropping her normal clothes after a few moments to reveal a two-piece bikini to cover her more than ample sexual assets. The bikini was blue with a white cloud pattern on it and was obviously made to over-sexualize Luna's appearance. This was, of course an act with an intentional purpose. She may not be able to use devil tricks, but other sort of tricks were all fair game.

Mashyuu listened to Luna's attempt to explain things and frowned. She wasn't making things easy for him off the bat but hell, he didn't mind helping people in general. "No swimming, we are getting this done. Come on." Mashyuu understood family and magic, hell at one point he attempted to use it as a form of secondary magic himself. He walked over to the small camp that Luna had made and glanced at Itsu. "Here, go get some food to eat. Ya know, hunt a bit." Mashyuu tossed his magical cross to her and she quickly caught it. The woman glared at Mashyuu and then smirked. Without another word she tied the chain around her wrist and darted off into the forest outside the mountain's area and started to hunt for food. Mashyuu waited in silence for a few moments then patted the ground next to him while he sat down. "Sit down, we need to talk about things." He put his head in his hand and thought for a moment. "So.. Luna. You are close with your family... Or you were at one point?" He asked and listened closely. "Do you know how to talk to the dead in any way shape or form?" Knowing things could be bad with the dead Mashyuu considered that he should know as much as possible before they set on a path to deal with this and Itsu was the type to try to convince anyone to not talk to the dead, hence why Mashyuu sent her off into the woods. "Honestly you should have contacted Kenna for this kind of thing. She has a way with spirits and the dead. Hell she had God like powers just like you and I do." Mashyuu continued to explain. "Until you talk to whatever it is that you need to I can't really help you with figuring out how your new magic will manifest. I can only be here in case something happens."

Sitting down to one side of Mashyuu, Luna smirked as Mashyuu seemed to be all work and no play - preferring to send Itsu off so the two of them could get right down to the issue at hand. It was surprising that Luna had little knowledge of the subject, considering she was an expert scholar. Reaching around, she withdrew a tome which seemed to be quite old and containing several pieces of parchment attached here and there with scribbles or extra notes of information. The book seemed to be made from the hide of some extra-ordinary creature such as a Dragon while the pages were of golden vellum.Shifting the book to open, she pulled to a vellum page with parchment slid into the left side, and drawn upon it was a verh heavenly being, perhaps an angel or a goddess.

"I am a master scholar and lorekeeper, aside from being damn good with my magic. I was able to research something about the blood in my body. At one time I thought my mother was human and that my Incubus Demon father raped her in conquest, but I dug further and learned that my mother was a demi-goddess. That spark of divinity within is what I am talking about, it is the power within that I wish to awaken."

"As for talking with the dead, there is a way but it required a large mental toll, effectively separating my mind into two separate personas." With that said, Luna reached into a pouch and withdrew a smaller pouch to reveal a small stone with a rune pressed upon it. She spoke quickly, then swallowed the stone. With that, the deed was done, and Luna shed her body to arrive at a font of memories of sort, a black inky substance covering all but the ground itself. And here, a beautiful fountain with three cherubim and trumpets. Sitting at that fountain was a being cloaked in radiance....

"Uh huh.... I see." Mashyuu muttered while he tried to mask the confusion in his tone. The man didn't understand why he was asked to come here, even when he watched her swallow a magical stone. The woman went silent and he was left sitting there awkwardly and alone effectively. The man drew a deep breath and poked the woman once but nothing happened. He shrugged his shoulders and checked her pulse to make sure she wasn't dead and smiled. "Alright, she's not dead. Guess I'll go take a look around the mountain or something. Maybe see if Itsu found anything good to eat." He muttered to himself and stood up. His hands dusted his backside off while he cracked his neck happily. Mashyuu trudged off a few feet and pointed to the mountain, a small sheet of stone ripped off the face of the mountain and floated to rest at the God Slayers feet. Mashyuu stepped onto it and let the sheet of stone float up into the sky. He leaned forward and floated towards the area Itsu had ran off to.

Itsu ducked under a low hanging branch and raced past it while trying to draw the bowstring back. A bear had been running from Kenna for the past twenty minutes and she was trying to avoid using her own magic and was attempting to use the bow she was given but couldn't get a good shot to lift the bow and fire off one of the magical arrows. Every time she lifted it the bear twisted around as if it knew she was about to shoot. The beauty swore under her breath and let the bow fade into mid air then drew her dagger. She flipped it around her fingers and clutched the handle to let the sun catch the glint of black steel under the sun. Her eyes narrowed and she ran as fast as she could to catch up to the bear and was sure to make sure she was only a few paces away from the wild animal then hurled the blade forward. The moment it dug into the back of the bears massive neck, Itsu leaned forward and jumped to wrap her arms around the bears head, dragging it to the floor hard. Itsu pulled her weapon out of the bears neck and stabbed a few more times while the bear roared weakly until its life force drained from its body. Itsu stood up and glanced around, blood staining her armor and the bottom tips of her hair. "This is gonna taste so good." She whispered while she tried to think of how to get it back to the camp.

Luna was deep within a drab memory which was enlightened by the golden presence who nearly blinded her by turning around to reveal the shape of a woman and a familiar face which for some reason eluded memory. Much of Luna could be seen in the face of the one who she now saw - amber eyes with a beautiful countenance though with earthen brunette hair lying loosely down the woman's back. The golden cloak shed, Luna's perception returned to normal and she noticed the woman... smiling to her. Finding this odd, she closed distance with the woman quickly and without concern for anything else bit the two of them in this space.

"Welcome, Luna. It' so nice to see you all grown up. You have many questions, but unfortunately they cannot be answered at this time. I can tell the confused look on your face, just know that in this moment I am here to help you."

This woman was so cryptic with her words and answers though they could barely be called as such. The woman was here to help her, well not much could be learned or ascertained without asking the right questions. The question begged to be asked, and so in her italian accent, Luna asked "Who are you... and why are you so familiar?"

The other woman had a pained look in her eyes, she wanted to tell Luna something so desperately, but at the same time was held back by... something. She responded in a thick northern accent, nordic in origin. "I cannot tell you much because my time draws short, however... know that a part of me rests within you and you must learn to call upon and harness this spark should you wish to survive the coming times. You must become strong Luna, for the power of the Divine Spark resides within you. We will meet again Luna, of that I can promise you, however for now you need to continue walking your own path."

Hundreds of questions arose for the beautiful woman to ask the familiar woman before her, yet as the other woman said Luna had no time. The woman was gone and the environment that Luna was found within as welling up and vanishing. It wasn't long before Luna awakened to a barren camp. She also felt the shift of something inside being unlocked. Decided to go look for Mashyuu, Luna pushed off the ground and released her senses to go on hunt for the likes of Mashyuu and Itsu. At least now she knew what needed to be done and could seek the two of them or at-least Mashyuu to progress her learning now that Luna knew what needed to be done.

Itsu was dragging the bear back to the camp with her bare hands, struggling hard with the large animal until something flopped atop it and held the animal firmly. Itsu yelped in shock and glanced over her shoulder to see Mashyuu laying on the dead bear, curled up inside it so he could take a nap. "Mashyuu! Get off this thing and help me move it!" She shouted at the God Slayer. Mashyuu crossed his arms under his head and sighed. "I could. But I kinda want to see you pull this thing." He retorted quickly. "I swear on the first God you can't put under that if you don't get off this bear and help me right now, I will make it my life's goal to ensure you never make it to your A rank Exam!" Itsu shouted at the God Slayer. Mashyuu sat up quickly and glared at Itsu sternly. "You wouldn't dare...." The two locked eyes for a long time and finally Mashyuu sighed and slipped off the bear. "Fine, give me my bow and a leg." He muttered and snatched up a clawed foot. Together the two made their way back to camp just as Luna stared to get up and out of her trance.

"Hey Luna! Check out what we caught! I think you're really gonna like this!" Mashyuu called out. Itsu elbowed him hard in the gut. "I caught it, you just showed up and helped drag it after giving me nothing but a hard time about things." Itsu snapped. "Clearly you are upset about me sending you off young one. But you must learn to do as I say from time to time. Some subjects are sensitive material." The two dragged the animal to the fire pit and they sat down. "So what did you learn while you were in your trance? How can we help you Luna?" Mashyuu asked with a smile on his face and a bear claw in his palm.

It wouldn't take long for Luna to find the two, considering that they were trotting back to camp with a large boar as soon as she had set out to find them. The boar seemed to be overly huge, though knowing Mashyuu's strength it would be an easy feat to pull it back to camp. From the look of things, Itsu seemed to be annoyed with Mashyuu for some reason however it didn't seem like it was a lasting annoyance. The two were so close, that they could easily get over whatever was bothering them. "Woah, that's a huge boar! Well, didn't know they lived around these parts, but why don't I cook up something nice for the three of us? How does a roast sound?

Almost as if on que, Luna reached for her pack and withdrew several packages from her pack, then withdrew a big pot. "Itsu, why don't you help me with cutting up ol' big hog and putting the meat on roast? Mashyuu, well... do your Mashyuu thing. She said with a chuckle as they took time out of the training schedule to cook down the boar into a fine stew. Once all of the heavy cooking was initially done, Luna could walk up towards Mashyuu and speak with him in earnest. What she needed him to do, was not something that he would likely find agreeable at first. "I need you to put me into a lot of undue stress, so it seems we're going to have to fight or something. Then, the real training will begin." Having layed that on Mashyuu, she gave him a moment to process it all. Luna returned to the camp fire and helped cook the stew with Itsu. They should all have a meal together after this was done, for it would be a real trial.

Mashyuu and Itsu looked at Luna then to one another and back to the raven haired woman again as she suggested roast. "Roast?""Roast?" The both asked at the same time. It was either meat on a stick or jerky for the two nine times out of ten. Hell up until a few weeks ago Mashyuu hadn't even ever seen a dog in his life so hearing about something like roast was a new thing for the brown haired man. "I was just gonna hold it over the fire real fast and then eat it once it was brown. What is this roast you are talking about? That seems like it would take a while to make." Mashyuu complained while the ladies got to work. Kenna would have suggested something like this as well and even then Mashyuu would look at the woman like she was insane but not voice a protest from fear that the woman would make him pay for it later.

Pulled away from the camp Mashyuu listened to Luna's request and he blinked in what many would consider confusion. In fact he was a bit confused. Luna wouldn't have a hart time against Mashyuu's earth magic with her wind spells. She seemed awfully powerful for a lower ranked Wizard but Mashyuu just shrugged and followed her back. "Hey Itsu, Luna wants us to beat her up before we eat. Something to do with pulling out her back up magic. You in?" Mashyuu asked, not being the type to keep too much from Itsu and would in fact talk to her about the conversation he and Luna had while she was out hunting. Itsu looked up from what she was doing and shrugged. "Yeah sure. I have some new spells I'd like to try out anyway. I'm sure we could put her through the ringer." Mashyuu chuckled and nodded. "Yup, but one ground rule. Luna you can't use your wind, sky, air magic stuff. It will help stress you out enough to activate your secondary magic. Got it?"

Both Mashyuu and Itsu were in for a delicious surprise if they hadn't had roast boar before, and signified by their agape and clueless expressions they hadn't. Mashyuu was perhaps the worst out of the two, not even having had the luxury of a real meal. To think that Mashyuu just barbarically cooked meat on a spit and that was it - well, at least he didn't consume it raw. He was about to get a cultural awakening to the world of spices, sauces, and heavy cream - all the things that made food simply to die for. "It takes longer than a spit, that's for certain, but it makes the meal much more wonderful and tasty in the end. I's called civilized cooking, and it's one of my specialties!"

The good thing about it was that you didn't have to nurse it like a spit. Once the pot was filled, you just had to wait. It would be perfect for the brand of training which would be required to awaken the latent power - and once the training was done all of them could sit down and enjoy a good meal. It seemed like Mashyuu was serious about her training, though, as he had commanded Luna not to use any of her magical abilities and attacks. There was one thing that broke this little pact - her ability to see glimpses into the future, which was something she couldn't simply turn off, but otherwise Luna kept with Mashyuu's request.

"I agree with this rule, I won't use my sky magic." Luna agreed, waiting for the two to initiate the combat. She found that it would be more stressful to be thrown on the defensive by the two from the get-go than to begin on the offensive. Luna would have to think on the go and reflexively avoid their attacks, rather than having the leisure to press the attack as she wished. She just hoped that the two of them go the hint.

With Luna agreeing to the request Itsu and Mashyuu gathered together and softly spoke in code so that even with Slayer senses to help her, Luna wouldn't understand what the two were speaking about. Once the two had agreed on a plan of attack Itsu pulled her dagger out and cut her hand, while she dripped the blood on the ground Mashyuu did the same with his hand and the blood mixed together, some sort of blood pact that the two had come up with when they were small children. Normally on a job one didn't have the time to do something like this but it was a way to show that they were family and very much willing to die for one another. Itsu tossed her dagger in the ground and the pair walked away while gesturing for Luna to follow so that they wren't so close to the camp. Simply out of respect for not wanting to hurt the camp itself.

Mashyuu stood far back, hands fumbling with his scabbard and Excalibur. The two had agreed not to use any actual weapons so Itsu planted her dagger in the ground by the camp while Mashyuu strapped his blade and bow chain to a tree branch to signify their own personal limits as if they were battling in some sort of combat ring. "Luna, if you want to get the most out of your training, you must not move past Itsu's dagger our past my sword. Obviously the lake is a bad place to end up too." Mashyuu balled up his chain and hurled it as hard as he could to cause the chain to crash to the ground about twenty meters away. "Don't pass up the chain either. We are gonna come at you as hard as we can without using our weapons. So be careful!" Mashyuu added while Itsu moved behind Luna and placed her hands together. Without warning thunder rolled from her palms as she spread her hands apart and electricity flowed through Itsu's body. "Lightning Lance!" Itsu called out and nearly vanished from where she was standing. Itsu rushed Luna from behind but before she made contact made a ninety degree turn and vanished then appeared at Luna's left flank, never stopping as she made a clothesline like strike with her sparking arm for Luna's neck. While that was going on Mashyuu kept his eyes on Luna and started to let golden sparks fly off his body. He watched where Luna was and where she would end up then activated his mothers magic. "Lightning Leap!" He shouted, changing to a golden lightning bolt to slam into Luna no matter where she landed!

Luna could hear what the two were saying, but if the two of them were speaking in code it didn't make a lick of difference - the meaning was being covertly changed behind their words through a manner the both of them understood. Regardless, Luna was not the sort to just sit around on her hands, already concocting about ten different plans within her mind - one for each possible scenario. Should she have limitless range of movement, confined range of movement, should she have to ward versus their full power, should she get caught up and ensnared, and more. This was generally how Luna planned, with all situations considered in a very loose strategy. It seemed to work, most of the time. There was no such thing as a perfect strategy, tacticians merely had to create multiple plans according to varying situations and then improvise.

[color:f978=#cc00ff"Very well, I will keep within your arena. I figured that you would keep me within a 'ring', no problem." Luna knew that the two of them were only trying to help her, however at this juncture she had to think of them as enemies for the sake of her own health. Luna didn't need to see Itsu to know the girl was behind her. As Itsu rushed towards Luna at near-blind speed, Luna took the moment to step just outside of the lightning and allowed the rest of Itsu to pass through her, wheeling to her flank. Next came the Lariat, with that sparking arm. Luna could out-speed Itsu except when Iysu used high-speed magic like that one before. Luna knew she would have to take the hit here, but did her best by jutting to the side quickly so the lariat would instead slam into her right shoulder instead of her neck.

Without hesitation, Luna raised her right arm, the one with Susanoo, which acted as a lightning rod to took all lightning damage to itself as if a lightning rod, along with the brunt of the blow. In fact, it seemed as if all damage had gone to the arm now, and the arm didn't look worse for wear. Dashing back, Luna noted they had said she couldn't use wind magic specifically. She'd be able to get this off once and then it'd be unfair. Aiming for Mashyuu with her right hand's fingers curled into a ball, Luna activated the arm's ability. Lightning sparked around the arm, and then released in a non-elemental ray towards Mashyuu surprisingly for C-rank damage. By the same time, Luna had circled near Itsu, and broke into a dash towards her with her right arm forward. Luna brought herself low as she approached itsu, sweeping into a low kick to try and tie up the girl's feet (D-rank Damage if hit).

Itsu swore when she missed the first attack and again as she just barely managed to get any real hit in on Luna with her second pass but that wouldn't deter the woman for long at least Mashyuu was also on the way. Or at least it looked like it until Luna's arm sparked and fired off a shot at the God Slayer who was rapidly drawing closer to the woman in a straight line. "Balls!" Mashyuu shouted when the blast hit him, but it wasn't enough to slow the Wizard down nor was Luna a strong enough Wizard to break his mountain stance fighting style. He did however notice how Luna's arm acted as a lightning rod when Itsu attacked and he adjusted his tactics on the fly. When Luna made her move at Itsu, the super charged woman laughed and slid to a near stop before jumping backwards and dashing away in a zig zag pattern. "Good Try Luna but you can't catch me like this!" Mashyuu stopped short of slamming into the arm of Luna's and instead dropped down to a knee with a balled up fist. "Earth Gods Molten Blast!" He called out as his fist slammed to the floor. Under Luna the ground rolled and erupted with super heated magma and stone. The moment his spell went off he rolled backwards and sprang into a back flip to put distance between the pair while he condensed magical power into his palm. As he finished his back flip, Mashyuu's right hand reached out, at the same time Itsu had circled the battle arena and jumped up to come down on Luna. "Light Dragon's Holy Shower!" He called out, sending a spray of holy energy in a cone shape at Luna and Itsu, intending to do harm to whoever was stuck inside the blast radius.

Luna stared at Itsu as she ran way from Luna in a zig-zag pattern, hoping that Mashyuu would take care of it at the moment. Little did either of them know she wasn't trying to slow them down or stop them at all, she was trying to get them to push closer to her - a tactic which seemed to be working on Mashyuu yet failing on Itsu at the moment. Not a problem as Luna could always shift her tactics towards this development as her strategy was very malleable to allow it. Right now, however, Luna needed to maintain her focus on Mashyuu - she had a rare moment to divide and conquer. Luna couldn't expect Mashyuu to just sit around and do nothing, he was likely planning an attack. She would just have to take advantage of that attack in order to make her own offensive. There was one thing which she could rely on which Mashyuu hadn't seen coming - it was something that simply couldn't be switched off like her magic could, for it was part of her blood.

When Mashyuu approached and slammed his hand down into the ground to release the molten up-welling, it was as if Luna knew exactly what was about to happen as she was soon out of it's way and circling behind Mashyuu. Luna elbowed Mashyuu into his own lava from behind should she get the better of him, doubting the magic would actually harming it's caster but dealing further with components of her plan. As Mashyuu rose up and Itsu circled around, Luna prepared for the attack by Itsu. What she wasn't prepared for, however, was the attack from Mashyuu. Showering bolts of light convalesced with Luna's current position, however they were halted by a wall of light above where Luna had been standing. Itsu would feel herself warded from the area as well.

As the mist rolled out, the woman was revealed. She had long raven hair much like Luna's , but calm amber eyes were replaced by orbs of indigo crackling with power. Her body had visibly changed on a minor level, while armor of arcing black and silver adorned with purest of white garments had dressed her. Upon her back, two raven-like wings stretched forth in a commanding presence. Crimson lips pursed into a malevolent grin as if some personality had overtaken Luna's. Raising her right hand, the deity released the shower of light back towards Mashyuu. For a moment, however, there seemed to be an internal struggle as the bolts of light fell short of their mark.

Mashyuu swore under his breath, calling the woman a word most wouldn't find flattering when she evaded him again and he rolled his eyes until an elbow was smashed into his back in an attempt to move him into his spell but he simply laughed and turned, there was little on the planet that Mashyuu had encountered that could actually move him. He spun around as Itsu made her attack and in turn he fired off his volley, only to see a wall of light erupt from the woman. Unlike Mashyuu, Itsu could be moved and was forced back from Luna's magic. Mashyuu took the break in battle in order to inhale, absorbing some of the light that her magic had created in order to restore his own magical reserves. He grinned wide and patted his belly until Luna could be seen again. In her place was a rather attractive, even if armored woman standing with wings that made Mashyuu groan. They always flew... why? Mashyuu don't eat that! Mefetis warned the Wizard and he took a step to the side while the blast seemed to fall just short of hitting where he was, like she had hesitated. Mashyuu's glowing blue eyes narrowed on this new foe, clearly this was Luna but like some people he had helped with secondary, it was possible that she no longer had control of what she was doing. Mashyuu glanced to Itsu and waved her aside as if to tell her it was down to just Mashyuu and Luna now. This was purely to keep Itsu safe in case he was right and Luna had no control of what was happening. Proceed with caution, I'm not sure what sort of Goddess this is. The force inside of Mashyuu advised. "Yeah yeah. Baby steps I get it. Earth Gods Stone Soldiers!" Mashyuu called out as a series of stone shot up and formed six stone figures, one of witch surrounded Mashyuu. Then all at once the line of them charged forward towards the woman, sucking Mashyuu into the ground and out again between the shells to keep him safe as he charged the woman to see what she would do first.

There was a strange presence that could be sensed within the male, most likely a deity such as herself who was possessing him, and she didn't know the exact situation however she could assume he was getting advice from within in how to deal with her. Not like it mattered, the woman who was once Luna noted. She was some form of incarnation of Luna's mother, Narya now. some fragment of lost soul had compelled Luna and was now in control. Something inside this creatures, however, seemed to be fighting back. for the moment, whatever resistance was in the woman's eyes had been quelled. For now, however, a plan began to formulate as soon as Mashyuu formed the six soldiers of stone. He seemed to be taking a cautious role, how unlike him... this would be interesting.


[color:cf10=cc00ff]"Minor Creation..." the woman spoke in a voice which at the very essence seemed to be controlled, taking part of her own mana and utilizing it with the words of power to weave life in the form of three individuals, not even moving from her position it seemed. It was at this time that she began to draw an arcane circle in the air in-front of her which seemed to shoot at Mashyuu's stone soldiers and entrap them within the dark-obscuring cyclone. The three golems, towering at ten feet tall, would be standing ready should the group leave the cyclone's range. The woman smirked devilishly, releasing herself from the position to fly up into the air with her polearm held in hand. The goddess could see perfectly within the dark cyclone, hefting up her polearm, and releasing it into a powerful throw towards the foremost of the stone soldiers.

For now, she could only watch to see how everything would play out, however the woman was already formulating plans as how to handle Mashyuu and his group of soldiers. For now, every second of time was a second of Narya wrenching control from Luna, though limited as this form was it would be reverted soon enough as it could not last forever. Narya was preparing to use every moment she could in order to defeat the one who now opposed her. She could only theorize, however, at this point on how the fight would go until the soldiers emerged from her storm - even if they could emerge from it...

As Mashyuu and his five drones of stone barreled forward Luna cast a spell that created a twister, Mashyuu countered by stopping one of his stone drones and jumping out of it. His left hand opened wide, sand whipped about in his palm and grew wider as the dark twister drew upon the Wizard. Mashyuu bent his knees and grinned wide, nothing was going to move him, even a wind storm. He bent his knees as the dark wind hit his body, and slowly battered his flesh. Mashyuu created a stone wall under him, launching the Wizard high into the air. After a few moments he erupted out of the twister. The bruises from his foes spell left on his body quickly vanished when a gold light exploded off his body, washing his hair in a golden hue. "Secret Art: Earth Gods Sand Twister!" Mashyuu shouted and hurled the small twister of sand in his palm up at Luna. The small twister quickly expanded and ripped up towards the woman to bat her around like a rag doll.

Mashyuu hit the ground and rolled with the landing to reduce the impact on his body. As quickly as he could Mashyuu sprang straight up and started to run, zigging and zagging just to make sure it was harder for someone to keep track of him. In a quick motion the brown haired Wizard planted one foot and slid around to face his foe. His body dropped low and he started to eat stone and absorb light just to keep his magical reserves up enough to fall back on spells. This is pointless, you were asked to help this woman achieve her secondary magic. You did that, it's time we leave. The spirit in his body suggested to the earth using Wizard. Mashyuu growled, unwilling to simply run away until he saw this job out. He continued to consume what he could and readied himself with one of his newer spells, an A.O.E. just in case she decided to get close with that spear.

What Mashyuu didn't understand was that the storm wasn't meant to move him - it was meant to stop him and his stone constructs which it did with flying colours. His own hubris was a help in the factor of stopping his movement for the moment - for just enough time to prepare for her attack on him. He used more mana in the creation of his earth wall and his sand twister - it was  draining him further so that he wouldn't be prepared for the attack she had up her sleeve - it was actually quite hilarious that Mashyuu couldn't see past her current actions to the steps in the future that she had already planned out ahead of him. Narya quickly brought her hand outwards, the long slender spear returning to her grasp as a pair of black wings formed around her in protection as the sand twister made it's way - anchoring herself to the ground via the spear which she impaled hard into the ground. and consumed some left over Cloud Golem to restore some bit of her mana. The remaining three golems now took the opportunity to charge at Mashyuu from the sand - one from his right, one from his left, and one straight ahead in an attempt to bash him with their huge fists. Only moments later, the goddess could be seen leaving the twister not much worse for wear.

"Sky God Chariot!" Held in one hand was that spear which she had, thrusting it out in tandem with the attcks form the golems. Something was different, however, about Narya - the confidence and indifference in her eyes were replaced with conflict. Barreling forward still, the woman was so surrounded in a swath of black winds which formed a dragon around the spearhead as it rushed for Mashyuu to strike him square in the chest, hopefully. Her accuracy was top notch and her speed renewed by the godly power - that single red eye bearing down on him. At the last moment, however, it went shy and struck at his left shoulder instead.

Within Luna's mind, there had been a battle worming it's way through, on one side the form of Narya - cracks in her armor and her helmet on the ground in fragments yet no real damage on her body. On the other side was Luna, blood welling from her lip and forehead with a spear blade sticking through the hy-brasil of her mechanical arm at the palm and all the way through. Luna quickly reached up and pulled the spear blade out of her arm as she faced the woman with a grin. Curls of black wafted in the wind as she charged across the cracked embers of the terra towards the bitch. As they came together, Luna's hard elbow hit the corrupted goddess hard in the ribs and then whirled around into a crescent kick to knock her in the air, receiving a headbutt from the woman as she did so which made her stagger back.Luna roared loudly in defiance, "You may try to mimic me, BUT YOU CAN'T BE ME! SKY GOD DROP!"

With this, Luna barreled up into the sky overhead the goddess and with a strong leg, kicked her back down to meet the ground with a thunderous applause that resulted in a crater underneath. It was at this very moment that the spear in the real world had moved to the left shoulder of Mashyuu. Luna could see what was happening in the world of reality, the sky itself showing these events. The corrupt goddess stood to her feet once more, though visibly wounded as she spat up blood. no words were shared beyond the two - it was damn well past time for that. Luna's right arm raised as dark winds stirred once more... "Sky..... God LARIAT!"

The two dashed to meet each-other, Luna with her arm held out horizontally to the side and the corrupted goddess with her spear (good as new). As they met, there was a titanic release of energy as a dark falcon and a black dragon clashed in the ground, but ultimately, in the end, there was more riding on Luna's side than on the other woman's and so she had won out in the titanic struggle. The hellscape had been significantly altered, now more resembling a serene grassland. The woman spoke now, her form vanishing little-by-little with golden particles. "You have done well, my daughter. I needed to test you to ensure that you were ready to receive the power of your ancestor. I can't stay long, but you will find me on Akuma... you will need to confront your father, Irithiel."

Almost as immediately as she had strick with the spear, it vanished leaving no impact on Mashyuu regardless of whether it hit or not. A burst of golden energy released from the form of Luna as the physique and appearance vanished and returned Luna to normal. At the same time, the three of them would feel their energy and vigor restored. As for any remaining Cloud Golems, they were now gone - dispersed. All that was left was a weakened and visibly wounded Luna drawn to her knees. She seemed to be bloodied along her lip and a wound on her chest. she was alive, and awake, smiling to Mashyuu.

"Well this is annoying. Someone doesn't know how to take a hit.." Mashyuu grumbled mid flight up at Luna. Two cloud golems flanked him and he siged while blue light almost like a bubble exploded out around him, encompassing the battle field and then some. "Time to play defense. Light Dragon's Domain: Transition!" He shouted, vanishing as both golems moved in on him. He and the golem to his left traded positions, causing the golem that was to Mashyuu's right to strike the one that was now between them. As Mashyuu started to fall again, Luna lunged with her spear and once again Mashyuu decided it was time to move while his spell was still in effect. He touched down on the ground and without looking called out again. "Transition!" Again he vanished and replaced himself with the same golem he had just moments ago. Again in the air Mashyuu pointed at the ground, causing a large round boulder to float to his palm. Holy light surrounded the stone as Mashyuu started to attack again, not Luna but the golem that was still in the air with him while both fell to the ground. "Dragon Gods Meteor!" He called out, blasting the golem at point blank range with a stone encased in holy fire. Dispersing the monster he hit the ground and started to eat to restore a little bit of power. It looked like Luna was in some sort of mental battle with herself, giving Mashyuu a chance to regroup. He was going to play defensive since he only had to draw her power out but it seemed like he already had. A burst of golden energy released from Luna, leaving her in her normal state on the ground and Mashyuu smiled, knowing the battle was over. He walked up to her side and glanced down at the bleeding woman. "Nice fight. I almost considered throwing the big guns at you. Here, you look hurt. Let me take care of that. Light Dragons Favor." He said gently. White light flowed off his body and exploded into hundreds, if not thousands of dragons that flowed around Luna and instantly sealed her wounds shut. He reached down to her while Itsu returned to the duo with all of their discarded gear. "Well Luna, what now? Looks like you have your power in check. Going off on your own for a bit or are you gonna travel home with the two of us?"
