RUNNING THROUGH THE PARKING LOT ♥ job

It was almost full on evening, with shadows growing longer and taller, as if the one who cast them was a giant. The sun was lowering itself behind the horizon, releasing a rich golden glow as it began to bid the world a good night, with darkness looming over towards the eastern sky. Not many clouds were out, and the weather overall was very nice, with a slight breeze traveling through the air every few moments. Outside was a pack of youths playing in the parking lot of a school, all of them fairly young, roughly the age of middle school students.

Naturally, Kaya was out and about at this hour, having slept away most of the day. Sunshine made her sleepy, and even the faint light of the evening sun was enough to still make her somewhat drowsy, provoking subtle yawns from the young vampire. She happened to be in Magnolia, and was passing by the parking lot when she noticed the flock of kids very close by. They all seemed to be arguing over what games they could and would play... a few were holding various balls, while others argued for different games. Without thinking, the alabaster-haired vampire made her way over, now intrigued. A game? Could she... maybe play?

Like always, the kamaitachi was out traveling, it was unlike him to stay in one spot like he has been living at Silver Moon Inn. But for reasons I shall not go into he is obligated to stay. But of course he couldn't stop himself from leaving Rose Garden almost every other day. Walking through the forests and such as the sun set. A more comfortable time of day for the nocturnal yokai, seeing perfectly unlike people would in the dark. As he walked out finding himself at a large area with a building next to it that was even larger. He wasn't quite sure what this was, more human made things, he had seen multiple places like this. A school he has been told, though he wondered the purpose of such a thing. Maybe he should've listened to the rest of their explanation, who knows.
His hazel gaze scanning the area, seeing children arguing among themselves about something that he wasn't to interested in. He was interested in messing with the human children, and, what was that. Smelling the breeze that slightly tugged at his hood, threatening to pull it down, he let his eyes follow the odd scent. Itazura had smelled scents like this before, but not to often. This intrigued the young yokai, who was it, why was it here, and would it mind being his meal? He wasn't in Rose Garden, and it wouldn't be likely, if he did it right, for his crimes to be found out. Well if he committed said crimes. For now he waited to see what would happen. Masking his presence he hid on the other side of the tree. The albino looking girl seemed rather curious about the children, and seemed like she wanted to join in.

"Let's play dodgeball!" One kid demanded, a ball in his hands, held as if he were ready to chuck it at someone at any given moment. A few kids backed him up with strong vocal support, in agreement that the game they should play was dodgeball. If Kaya remembered that game correctly... it included forming teams, then trying to chuck balls at one another to put someone 'out' of the game. A few other kids, however, were not in agreement with the suggested game. Instead, they had other plans. "Heck no! Let's play basketball!" one said, backed up by a few other children around the circle.

Now extremely close to the group of young teens and preteens, somewhat towering over them by a few inches, she caught their attention rather quickly. Noticing all eyes on her, the vampire decided to voice her own opinions, as they grew somewhat quiet. "Instead of playing ball... why don't we play tag?" Kaya suggested with a timid and warm smile.

Watching with piercing eyes he saw as the girl came up, suggesting her own game. One human thing he actually knew, considering he played said game with a group of kids like this one. Well a smaller group, and younger kids, but the same game. And this made the itachi come out of his hiding spot and walk up to the crowd of kids and the unknown girl. Still standing quite a bit away, a mischievous grin spread across his fair skinned face and he spoke. Though his tone and smile much more confident of that of the other girl who stood a few inches shorter then himself. Though of course, if you knew him like very few people did, you could guess, though not easily see that all of his confidence...was a mere facade.
"And if you do choose that game, would you mind another oldy joining in?" He said, giving a playful wink to the vampire across from him. Stuffing his hands into his pockets, he rocked back and forth from the ball and heel of his feet. Restless and ready to play a game with the children, though hoping that it would turn into more then a game. Well for him, no matter how serious it got, he would still consider it a mere game. The odd habits and logic of the hundred year old kamaitachi.

The sudden appearance of the strange boy across the parking lot was not enough to strike too much interest into the young vampire. With no reason to tell him he could not participate, Kaya turned her head and put the dirty-blonde haired boy in her red gaze. "I wouldn't mind," she said with a small grin, turning her pearl-haired head towards the kids again. "So, tag?" she would confirm, with the kids staring at her in an intrigued manner. Two big kids playing with them? Like hell were they turning down that offer! "YEAH!!" they all shouted almost simultaneously, dropping their balls as if on cue.

"Alright. You," she said, turning her head back to the Kamaitachi. "How about you be 'it', first?"

The vampire didn't seem as curious about him as he was for her, probably because yokai's blood wasn't that tasteful, or maybe she couldn't even tell he wasn't more then human. He wasn't even showing his tail or ears, so that was a possibility. Though during this game, if she didn't know already, she would at least know that he wasn't normal. As a reaction to their shouting, he cringed slightly, not being a fan of loud noises. He was a weasel after all, and they were rather anti-social or asocial little critters, and that didn't exclude him in the slightest.
Keeping his smile across his complexion, he listened to the girl speak. Suggesting that he would be it, which is something he wasn't against. The kids said for him to count so they had time to run, he shrugged and let them get as far as they could from him. "Ichi....ni....san....shi....kyuu....juu!" counting in his native language and skipping a few numbers, doing this confused the children slightly, but if they were bothered they didn't really say anything.
Once he finished counting, he crouched down slightly, then pushed against with a large extent of his strength. Then he pushed off, running a speed a tad bit faster then normal, and to quick for one kid to run away. The kid looking behind him and watching as the itachi chased him, though he wasn't expecting the elder person to flip over him. Skidding to a stop he looked up at the yokai, and smile on his face he tapped the kid on the shoulder "You're it" he said smiling. Then he ran off at the same speed when he originally chased this kid, not giving him a chance for a tag back.
