Disrespect or distrust. It was the words that defined the group the most in Raiza's eyes. There was a lack of both or at the very least, tension in the air. Was it worth it? Yes, after all, they were all dark mages, and some did not know each other from anything other than their sinner or coming storm positions. Others, only knew each other by proxy or guilds. It left the alliance to be on thin ice, and even as dense as Raiza was at times, could see that much. The issues he saw were minimal, but enough to make him leery of going near anyone else besides Marceline. Not out of fear, but rather out of lack of interest. He already wished to drop Vlad where he was, but more so, the others, he had no interest in or if there was any interest, it was only as to one question 'what were they capable of?'
Though watching everyone change, or release their own powers in some way, made Raiza a bit irritated. He had remained hidden for some quite time, only showing off one technique, which was a simple active ability of his weapon, so the best option now was to just transform and get it over with, that way he didn't have to worry about maintaining his old appearance, the appearance he did have prior to a little incident. "Well... guess my turn" he spoke, not 'to' anyone, but just as a general statement, his body had shifted, gaining in height just slightly, but his entire body and attire in the end would be different, and starting with the silver hair, he would now have a hue of blonde that fell to his face in a more 'I dont care' kind of look. His clothing no longer being robes, but was simple jeans, and an opened jacket, exposing his torso. His eyes no longer black and red, but instead, the scelera was white once more, with sapphire blue pupils. It was his new form, one more suitable to interact in, but also no longer straining his magic to stay as he once was. In fact, he felt closer to how strong his power really was, now that he didn't have to hold it back any, even his dark aura flooded out much more potently than before as if it threatened to consume the very structure as the decedent of grim.
Though aside from the not so flashy change in appearance, Raiza still kept up with the pace, ending up split from everyone in the group except Marceline, whom he remained by her side until she asked him a question. Yes, it was possible to see what was in this level, but to act on it, or to scan it all at once may be a bit harder to anticipate. Still though, Raiza replied back "Yes, give me a moment" he requested. It only took that 'moment' for a spell to activate to unlock the full potential of his incubus sensory abilities, and coupled off with his ability to already sense as is, he began to be flooded with the number of smells, sounds, and energy signatures in the area. There were those further away from Marceline and himself, but they were quickly being taken out. As for those nearest, he counted four. They were low-key guards of some kind, definitely human in nature, their smell gave him the key that three were male, and one female. Most likely this showed how biased the magic council was in terms of recruitment.
"Four guards, three males, one female. Low magic power, but I can hear the rustling of their gear. Its heavy, including their weapon. They're geared up to go to war almost. Must be a patrol though as they don't seem to be alerted to us in particular, but are alerted that people are in the castle" His words spoken in a hushed voice as Marceline and himself traveled down the corridor. In all honesty, the strength of the alerted guards, didn't make Raiza any more worried than the dogs they sent before. It only made him give off a slight chuckle to the fact that they were about to be met with four individuals that had no clue how fast Marceline or himself could kill them. Though, instead of relying on himself, he had conjured up his death fiend fusion spell. A summoning technique that was S-class in strength, and appeared quite heavily armored, covered in a thick layer of demonic bone, carrying two serrated bastard swords, each resting on a shoulder. "Four targets, down that hallway, kill and return to us after the engagement, meet upstairs" Raiza spoke, sending the creature off to ultimately do away with the targets. It had no response, only a nod, before vanishing from it's spot, using a burst of speed to begin closing the distance between it and the four guards, which not before too long would be heard as a blood filled scream was filling the air.
"I don't sense anything else on this level, and looks like stairs are this way. We should go to the next level Marceline" He suggested, not really sure of what Marceline wanted to do at this point, but he was next to her, ready to do as she suggested, seeing as the rest of the group was all split off.
