Sol growled at Nidhogg for his jab at him at what he ate stating if he ate these dogs that he was the same as them. “Bite me Mutt I’ve got better taste then that” he said before he quicklyed moved past him and followed Marceline and Vlad deeper into the castle, moving deeper inside Sol quickly caught scent of something that stirred his hunger it was other humans besides his partner and he grinned widely as he got ready to eat. Hearing footsteps he saw a guard approaching before he finally went wild and lunged. The guard had no time to react as the Poison Dragons fangs ripped thru the mans throat and caused him to rapidly bleed out.

While the man was bearly conscious Sol quickly started to take bite after bite out of the man ignoring the screaming as he seemed more focused on getting his fill then the mans suffering, after a few moments the slayer stood his face covered in blood but he had a grin on his face as he sighed in content.”ah much better “ he said before he caught scent of two more guards approaching , Sol quickly summoned his chain enkidu thru two portals and shot it forward at them before he quickly flicked the chains and caused them to wrap around the mens necks before snapping them with a quick twist.”this is so dull but at least I got a meal out of it” he grumbled.

Disrespect or distrust. It was the words that defined the group the most in Raiza's eyes. There was a lack of both or at the very least, tension in the air. Was it worth it? Yes, after all, they were all dark mages, and some did not know each other from anything other than their sinner or coming storm positions. Others, only knew each other by proxy or guilds. It left the alliance to be on thin ice, and even as dense as Raiza was at times, could see that much. The issues he saw were minimal, but enough to make him leery of going near anyone else besides Marceline. Not out of fear, but rather out of lack of interest. He already wished to drop Vlad where he was, but more so, the others, he had no interest in or if there was any interest, it was only as to one question 'what were they capable of?'

Though watching everyone change, or release their own powers in some way, made Raiza a bit irritated. He had remained hidden for some quite time, only showing off one technique, which was a simple active ability of his weapon, so the best option now was to just transform and get it over with, that way he didn't have to worry about maintaining his old appearance, the appearance he did have prior to a little incident. "Well... guess my turn" he spoke, not 'to' anyone, but just as a general statement, his body had shifted, gaining in height just slightly, but his entire body and attire in the end would be different, and starting with the silver hair, he would now have a hue of blonde that fell to his face in a more 'I dont care' kind of look. His clothing no longer being robes, but was simple jeans, and an opened jacket, exposing his torso. His eyes no longer black and red, but instead, the scelera was white once more, with sapphire blue pupils. It was his new form, one more suitable to interact in, but also no longer straining his magic to stay as he once was. In fact, he felt closer to how strong his power really was, now that he didn't have to hold it back any, even his dark aura flooded out much more potently than before as if it threatened to consume the very structure as the decedent of grim.

Though aside from the not so flashy change in appearance, Raiza still kept up with the pace, ending up split from everyone in the group except Marceline, whom he remained by her side until she asked him a question. Yes, it was possible to see what was in this level, but to act on it, or to scan it all at once may be a bit harder to anticipate. Still though, Raiza replied back "Yes, give me a moment" he requested. It only took that 'moment' for a spell to activate to unlock the full potential of his incubus sensory abilities, and coupled off with his ability to already sense as is, he began to be flooded with the number of smells, sounds, and energy signatures in the area. There were those further away from Marceline and himself, but they were quickly being taken out. As for those nearest, he counted four. They were low-key guards of some kind, definitely human in nature, their smell gave him the key that three were male, and one female. Most likely this showed how biased the magic council was in terms of recruitment.

"Four guards, three males, one female. Low magic power, but I can hear the rustling of their gear. Its heavy, including their weapon. They're geared up to go to war almost. Must be a patrol though as they don't seem to be alerted to us in particular, but are alerted that people are in the castle" His words spoken in a hushed voice as Marceline and himself traveled down the corridor. In all honesty, the strength of the alerted guards, didn't make Raiza any more worried than the dogs they sent before. It only made him give off a slight chuckle to the fact that they were about to be met with four individuals that had no clue how fast Marceline or himself could kill them. Though, instead of relying on himself, he had conjured up his death fiend fusion spell. A summoning technique that was S-class in strength, and appeared quite heavily armored, covered in a thick layer of demonic bone, carrying two serrated bastard swords, each resting on a shoulder. "Four targets, down that hallway, kill and return to us after the engagement, meet upstairs" Raiza spoke, sending the creature off to ultimately do away with the targets. It had no response, only a nod, before vanishing from it's spot, using a burst of speed to begin closing the distance between it and the four guards, which not before too long would be heard as a blood filled scream was filling the air.

"I don't sense anything else on this level, and looks like stairs are this way. We should go to the next level Marceline" He suggested, not really sure of what Marceline wanted to do at this point, but he was next to her, ready to do as she suggested, seeing as the rest of the group was all split off.

Mythica would continue to hum the playful tune to herself as Nidhogg stayed at her side, she'd ruffle the dog's hair, absolutely stoked about his new appearance. As for the others, it soon became clear Mythica had no opinion on their actions really. If she did, no one would really know what it was. As the entire time she would stick to the same dark grin. Truthfully, it mattered not what the members of her team thought of each other. She was only here for one thing, and they'd be the only people who would show themselves willing to help. That being said, she did quite enjoy the new dog's accompany. After all, Mythica adored the creatures.

It wouldn't take long for the group to stop again as Razia mentioned more guards after Marceline had asked him if there was anything else nearby. Mythica could already forsee an encounter with these guards. But it didn't seem like it was going to be her who would be dishing out the punishment. It'd be one of her capable companions. Shame. She was really wanting to get out of this dress. Mythica would simply stand patiently and wait for Razia to finish his play with the guards, but was surprised to witness his pet take care of the rest. The gruesome screams that followed after echoed through the corridors, and then Razia would turn to the group again. "Heh, yes let's! Assuming you lot can tolerate one another for a little longer..." She'd say mockingly. Despite not showing any opinions on the matter, Mythica had obviously sensed the tension between the members. It was a shame that some of them disliked each other. She never knew why people couldn't just swallow their pride and suck it up. Think about the success they could all achieve if they decided to work together. BUt, it wasn't her place to say. "We're close now!" She'd exclaim, cheerfully walking up the stairs before stopping and turning. "Oh! Right, shouldn't get too far ahead of myself, should I? You seem confident! I'll follow you!" Mythica would grin in Vlad's direction before standing next to the much taller mage. Honestly, the girl was a mystery.

No, I won't fall for this again, I'll always see behind your smoke and mirrors. I know you love me deep inside, your simply caught up in
    her lie

Evidently, the group had split off into pairs. Who with who? She didn’t quite know and, honestly, she didn’t quite care either. They were all big children now, they could handle their own things without having to run to one another for a bit of help. However, it was the question on whether they would meet up again or not that hung at the back of the black-haired woman’s mind. In a way, it sort of clawed at her brain and made her worry about the rest if they would be all right on their own or need their help. The thought forced her to breathe in sharply and let out an exasperated, sigh-like breath in order to help clear her mind of the matter. It didn’t help much, but it pushed the thought to the back of her mind further with the reassurance that each one had a mage to go with them. If they all wanted to meet up later on somehow, that was perfectly fine by her, but until then, the split was likely a needed thing.

Coincidentally, Raiza was the one who had sidled off with her on this mission, sticking to her side rather than pairing off with someone else. Of course, the split wasn’t by choice, Vlad had instinctively gone on his own because of his abrasive and rather vibrant personality. Marceline had gone on her own not because she felt the need to or the overexertion of the others, but because she was a curious mind. Her aim was to find the quickest way to the top of the castle and hopefully get to the Infinity Clock before anyone else in her group was able to. She wanted that piece for herself; it had only been a ruse that she wanted to get it for Eris, when in reality, it was all for herself. It was a strong item, surely, it was something she needed in her arsenal, whether it was just a tiny piece of it or the whole thing. Letting someone else get it? She couldn’t imagine it, and perhaps that was the reason why she was often considered greedy and selfish.

She patiently waited for Raiza to check what was in their surroundings, quietly watching the male as he expanded his senses. Being a succubus, she was able to do that as well, but she just never really utilized it; it was more of a dormant aspect in her. However, it was tempting to do such a thing, even if casting out a few skeletal henchmen would help her see what was around. Yet, she kept it all to herself and simply stood waiting until Raiza had fully analyzed what could possibly be coming their way. In the meantime, she let her gaze wander around the corridor, her ears wiggling from time to time as she listened to the stillness. It was almost eerily still, an ominous sign that something bad was bound to happen if they stuck around for too long here. But the thought that they could handle their own kept popping into her head, reassuring her that she had no reason to flee the place.

When Raiza spoke at last, her attention was drawn back to him, giving a small nod of acknowledgement toward what he said. “Only four of them? That’s so unexpected for a castle. Honestly, I would be able to run this castle much better than this King Navrick person,” she stated. She wasn’t given much time to pan out a plan of attack for the guards, however, before Raiza summoned a few henchmen to do his bidding. This caused her to pout a little and slightly become what was known as a spoiled brat over the matter, though didn’t verbalize her dislike. Instead, the woman let Raiza do what he wanted and proceeded to grab hold of his hand to pull him along with her through the corridor. With no reason to fret over the four guardsmen making their way down the hall, she figured their next best option was move onto the next floor. Shouldn’t have been that hard anyway, considering the men were preoccupied and they were able to get away scott free.

So, Marceline ducked through a doorway that was closest to where they were standing, leading them to a spiral staircase upward. Staircases were her worst enemy right now, mostly because they were old and prone to crumbling from the last stairs they went up. “I doubt there’s anything bad up there, right?” she inquired rhetorically, glancing at Raiza, only to squeeze his hand a bit tighter for comfort. “This castle seems to be getting scarier by the minute and normally, I’m not terrified of things like dogs and guards, and crumbling stone.” She pouted a bit more, but would lead Raiza along the staircase that quickly led them up to the next level of the castle they were meant to be on. However, as they reached the top of the staircase, they would find that the room was entirely empty and that they could easily pass through without worry. It would allow them to access the next level of the castle, simply crossing the large room and exiting through the next doorway they saw.

However, as Marceline stepped out onto the tile flooring of the empty room, it triggered a hidden button within the floor and at the center of the room, the tiles began to move. They shifted around and opened a small space within the flooring and as they pulled apart, a tall and slender stand appeared. Marcy’s eyes glittered with amazement as she watched it and she dropped her hold on Raiza’s hand, walking deeper into the confines of the room. Her feet automatically carried her to the small stand, where a piece of the Infinity Clock lay settled in all of its glory on the pedestal. A sly grin weaved its way across the woman’s lips and her hands reached out toward the item, snatching it into the palm of her hand. With only Raiza around, she had no reason to fear anyone else trying to take the item from her, but she didn’t like the thought of it. Having the item held tightly into her hand, Marceline turned back around and slowly walked back in the direction of Raiza, the pleased grin still on her face.

If you see any of the other group members, don’t hesitate to kill them,” she murmured into his ear as she stopped at his side. “This little item that I have in my hand, they’re all going to want it, but I’m not going to give it to them, so lead them astray as much as possible. I trust that you’re strong enough to be able to do that on your own, am I correct? If so, I’ll see you on the outside of the castle.” The woman gave him a smirked and a brief kiss on the cheek before she disappeared into invisible flecks of ash to make her way down and out of the castle. If she wanted it all for herself, she would have keep herself on the run, and that meant also ultimately staying away from Grim Heresy. In order to do that, that meant she had to drop everything she knew within that guild and simply head to unknown location, never to return. She knew the exact location she was bound for as well, and hopefully, Raiza would be smart enough to find her after all this shit was over.

Post by Vlad 4th January 2017, 9:09 am

With his usual saunter, simply making his way through the castle, it seemed that Raiza and Marceline were ahead of him; with the amount of power being emitted and the proximity of their souls it was safe to say that they had obtained the device; knowing Marceline rather well, and the simple interaction he had with Kite- along with the quantity of souls- it was clear as to who was fleeing. The question that was now nagging at Vlad was this: Why stay behind? Was he really a puppy on a leash?Watching as the souls simply drifted away, leaving this place behind, Vlad sighed. It seemed that if he wished to gain this artifact he would need to hunt a few mages; it was not difficult work, but it would be a process nonetheless. Simply turning on his heel he began to walk back; travelling the same route, giving Mythica a pat on her head, he simply left the castle. “Eh, I'll have it soon enough.” He chuckled, simply departing from the area.
